It was now mid-summer and very hot which the Rockets were noticing along with Casey makimg them annoyed, hot and drinkimg a lot of water because Rocket and Rockford wanted to keep them hydrated so they didn't get overheated or dehydrated knowing maybe they could have a pool party or go to the beach or something to cool their family down, plus there was a pool on the campus grounds and being vice-dean, he could access it.
"Yeah we can have a pool party, or a barbecque, it might make them happy." Rockford told Rocket.
He amd the others werre getting ready, plus were wondering, if Hulket wanted to join them goimg to join them goimg to the forest where the green-furred male hung out and slept, plus Groot had been hanging out with Hulket giving him hugs when he was lonely when it was night time and the students were inside, seeimg Hulket happy to see him.
"We're gonna chill by the pool as it's really hot, you wanna come?" Rocket asked.
"Yeah, as it's really hot, and making me sleepy." Hulket replied to him.
He carefully followed him to where the others werr, seeing Rockford on a lounger, alomg with Rockette wearing sunglassed seeimg Rock, Rufus and Rockelle running through sprinklers, that Lyllie and Lylla had set up while cleaning the pool before they could swim in it, seeimg them grabbing floats, alomg with Casey, turning the sprinklers into a slip and slide, which the adults were impressed by their games.
Rudiger was just watching, as he was unsure about swimmimg, even though it looked fun, seeimg Shocket appear from out of nowherr makimg the male kit jump, which she thought hilarious, especially now she had Loki's powers which she used to cause mischief since being suspendedfrom classes after the field-trip to Asgard.
"You can stay and swim, but no tricks, we all just want to have fun." Casey told her cousin, surprising Shocket thinkimg they would not let her stay, guessimg Linda was doing something, so Shocket was feelimg lonely.
"Linda went to sleepawsy detective camp, and not back for a few weeks." Shocket said softly.
Rockelle thought it sweet, Casey was lettimg her cousin hang out, even though she causedproblems for them when she used her new powers, guessimg she was misunderstood, seeing Rocket and Rockford agree, sayimg the pool was ready makimg them excitable, seeimg Rock doimg cannonballs which worried Rocket, in case the others copied, seeing Rifus doimg it.

Bruce and the other Avengers joined them, makimg burgers and other snacks on the grill, just not hot-dogs knowing that was iffy for them, relieving the other Rockets knowing that Drax was learning that was a sensitive subject makimg Hulket agree with this eating a big cheeseburger which Scott had made big using Pym Particles, which he appreciated seeing Rocket understand using Pym Particles to grow soda for Hulket so he would keep cool.
"You think our friends will come back soon?" he asked softly.
"They will in September buddy, you miss snuggling them, huh?" Rocket said.
"Summer will go by fast, trust me." Rockford replied.
Carol was surprised hearing that, as she knew that the students loved snuggling with Hulket when stressed or lonely, knowing that Hulket was very gentle and was impressed that it had been Rocket's idea seeing him quiet, squeezing his giant paw quietly seeing it was makimg him feel a little better, knowing he hung out ine forest area with Groot for company sometimes.
"We should hang out on Animal Crossing, his island is awesome." Rocket whispered.
"Yeah, since he gets lonely but doesn't tell us." Rockford added to it.
Later that night/early morning, Hulket was still awake playing Animal Crossing on his Switch that Scott had made bigger using Pym Particles so it would fit in his paws, playing with Rocket on his island which was makimg him happy, unaware the others noticed that he was lonely when the others went inside, so was happy to hang out virtually seeing the sun was up and his Switch had to charge plugging the charger in, feelimg tired noticing Groot had been there, with his eyes closed to look like an normal tree and would tell Rocket in a while knowing he and the other Rockets worried about Hulket goijg into the compound seeing Rocket makimg himself coffee, askimg Groot if Hulket was okay, seeing him nod.
"That's good, we should let him sleep, and bring him some pancakes." Rocket told him.
"I am groot, I am groot." Groot said with a him.
"It's gonna get hot again like yesterday." Rocket said.
He saw the others awake, some were a little grumpy because of how hot it had been last night, knowing breakfast would help improve their mood seeing Rockford agree, seeing them hungry which was a good thing, because Summer was a tad hot excited for Winter and their first Hannukah as a family, seeing Rocket agreeing..
He decided to go to Starbuck's, getting the others frappes and snacks for later so was seeing the other Rockets playing in the pool like yesterday seeing Hulket join them, having fun, relieving Rockford as he was in charge until he came back seeing them happy which was a good ides, as it was so hot.
