Revis's POV
As she was walking out the door, the Vaporeon who saved my life made a gesture towards me I didn't understand. I decided to get some rest, so I laid back and fell asleep. I didn't have a positive opinion of Citizens' pointless "inventions," but I had to admit, the "bed" was rather comfy. But, after that observation, I fell asleep.

I was walking through a forest, it was familiar, like home. I knew every tree, and I knew where everything was. Suddenly, however, a massive fire erupted inside it, and I had to run. I ran and I ran as fast as I could, until eventually, I was in a new forest. It was strange. The trees were very different here, and I wanted to go back, but the old forest was still burning. It would be suicide to go back. So, I walked further into the new forest. Suddenly, it started raining, and a friendly raindrop stopped in front of me.
"Where can I find a home?" I asked it.
"Follow me, I will show you," it responded.
And so, I followed the raindrop. It lead me to a hole in the ground.
"Not here," I told the raindrop
"Yes, here!" Said the raindrop enthusiastically.
"No, there is a small fire in the hole, and the trees are casting scary looking shadows on this home," I explained
"The fire means you no harm, and the shadows are to protect you from the deadly sun," the raindrop smiled as it said.
"I am not scared of the sun, I am scared of the shadows."
"Well, this is the only home, so you will have to get used to it." After this, the raindrop plopped into the hole.
I stared for a moment, before I got in the hole as well, the raindrop was right, I will get used to the shadows, and the fire provided a nice warmth. Once I was comfortable, I fell asleep.
So, I hope y'all enjoyed that chapter! And that I wasn't too vague, I'm trying to have this one be a bit of an introduction to this "type" of chapter, and future ones will be even more vague and confusing! Probably…
Anyway, time for more explanation stuff! Today I'm covering the topic of legendaries. Most legendaries are, well, legends! Fairy tales, Myths, etc. However, most actually believe in these stories, with good reason because, y'know, they're real… however, just like in real life, there will always be those who refuse to believe in them no matter what. I'll probably end up not having legendaries appear in the flesh in this story… maybe… possibly… eh, it kinda just depends on if I run out of plot points.
Also, since that was really short, I'll just mention regions, they're basically just countries, the ones they're based on. Galar is Britain, Unova is the US, Kalos is France, the first 4 gens are all different areas of Japan (apparently according to a website I just Googled) etc. This story is somewhere in Unova (purely because I live in the US and I'm biased).
