"Ugh, Monday's, why do they have to exist!" Casey said.
It was early Mondaymorning in the city of New York as Casey was flying back to the compound as Mondays were always icky to her so she took her time goijg to the compound flying which always made her feel a little better plus would just sleep through Mondays until they were over, which her parents understood but Rocket didn't which made Casey grumpy and annoyed at him and everybody, along with wanting to be alone
She had a better idea deciding to go to Mariposa Grove in Yosemite Park where there were lots of sequias including the oldest living one plus all the nature sounds helped her relax but would be back before it got late in case her parents and uncle worried, knowing it would be better to stay out of their fur landing in Mariposa Grove breathing in the fresh air, which was helping her feel better already.
"This is better than me yelling at everybody because I hate Mondays." she said softly.
Meanwhile at the Avengers compound, Ranger and Riley were concerned because Casey was not there yet making Rocket understand remembering his niece hated Mondays, guessing she was somewhere in the city cooling off until Ranger saw a text from Casey saying she was alright and in Yosemite National Park, saying Groot would love this place making them smile, their girl was exploring while calming her Monday blues at the same tiMessage, hearing Rocket ask them why they hadn't told her to come home.
"When Casey has the Monday blues, she's not her normal self so she decided to stay out of our fur until she feels better." Riley said only Rocket sighed as he didn't want Casey to stay out of his fur on Mondays knowing who could help, formulating a plan in his head making Ranger and Riley exchange a look, wondering what their brother was up to.
Mantis was surprised, after Rocket told her his idea, knowing Casey was very sweet, so she could help her not feel so blue on Mondays being the campus counsellor, relieving Rocket as he left her be.
By midnight, Casey returned to the compound combining her flying-power and her super-speed powers to get back fast and then using her cloaking-power to get inside without beijg caught as she smirked reappearing once she got inside, relieving her parents hugging her sensing she was back to her usual self makijg some hot cocoa, seeing her ask what had been goijg on, seeing her parents telling her while she was having something to eat since using her powers a lot today had wiped her out of energy which made her sleepy relieving Ranger and Riley, knowing she would sleep most of the night including all day knowing she would be okay seeing her goijg to her room knowing her uncle would have questions which would have to wait until the morning or much later, when she felt more awake.
"Yes that was Casey, but let her sleep, she gets really grumpy when really tired." Ranger warned Rocket.
"Alright, but we have to talk, when she does about this Monday thijg." he replied to him leaving.
Later that day after resting, Casey began to stir feelijg like she did after being up all night patrolling as Raccoon Girl yawning and stretchijg, knowing her parents, uncle and the others were goijg about their day feelijg hungry leaving her room, getting an idea to combine her cloaking-power with her super-speed power so she could get to the kitchen fast and unseen, knowing her uncle wanted to talk to her, doing so which was awesome, she was loving this experimenting with her powers, appearing in the kitchen impressing Thor making the female-kit shy.
"Good you're awake, we wondered when that would happen, you okay? Riley told her, seeing her nod.
"I was experimenting with my powers, you know?" Casey told her impressing her at this.
They were unaware that Rocket had been listening, surprised that his niece was experimenting with her powers, deciding to leave her alone for now, hearing Bruce yelling going to check it out, seeing Billy had been using his powers to cause mischief making Shocket sigh at this, as she and her friends were just having fun.
