Hey yall! Here's another chapter of Barista and the playboy. Willow would totally have Boscha whipped lmao. Hope you enjoy this chapter and have a wonderful rest of ur day!

Amity groaned in relief as she exited the conference room. Another day another meaningless meeting.

Lately her mother has been gunning for an international deal. Weapons of all shapes and sizes will be shipped over seas to other countries.

In the back of her mind Amity hoped she wouldn't be labeled a war criminal.

Lord knows what the paparazzi would do when they got a hold of that information.

Amity rubbed her eyes with the heel of her hand. Blinking away sleepiness. She popped her neck as she walked down the hallway. The office building was air conditioned so aggressively that it seemed like it sucked the warmth out of everything in the building. Even the people.

She had to get away from this.

Her feet carried her towards the elevator, passing by clean floor to ceiling windows. Ignoring the employees' short pauses when she passed. Stepping into the elevator she leaned against the back wall, sighing in relief.

"Wait hold the door!"

Amity's head hit the wall as she groaned at the familiar voice.

A head of bright pink hair popped out from around the corner. Quickly speeding into the elevator.

"Phew thanks."

"No problem Boscha." Amity huffed. Not moving from her position near the corner.

Boscha blinked at the other occupant of the elevator. Before her mouth turned into a shit eating grin.

"Well isn't it Amity 'heart breaker' Blight!" Boscha laughed and teasingly elbowed the other girl in the ribs. "Watch you think of that chick last night? Hot right?"

Amity scoffed. "You mean the barista? Yeah she was cute."

Boscha looked at her like she was crazy. "What barista? No I meant the lady you took home last night."

The pink haired girl paused. Folding her hands behind her back and whistling an innocent tune.

Amity immediately didn't like where this was going.

"Soo this barista, she up for grabs?" Boscha asked. Even wiggling her eyebrows for emphasis.

Something twinged inside of Amity at the other girl's tone. It wasn't a secret that they were both womanizers. Just something about Boscha using Luz for fun irked her greatly.

Standing taller and glaring at the pinkette Amity growled. "No she is not. So don't even bother."

"Oohh someone's defensive!" Boscha smirked.

The elevator door dinged opened. Revealing a quiet lobby complete with a tired receptionist at her desk. They strode passed paying her no mind.

They stepped onto the sidewalk, briefly enjoying the brisk air. That heavy chill that enveloped their bodies evaporating the instant they stepped outside.

Boscha jumped slightly when her phone started to ring. Digging in her pocket she answered without looking at the caller ID.

"Hello?"

A woman's voice was on the other side. But from the looks of complete anguish on Boscha's face it was clear the woman was just one of her flings.

Amity smirked in amusement at her friend trying to remember the random's name.

"Hey V! I was just about to call you. Works been really busy." Boscha paused when the other woman started speaking.

Her body language shifted drastically. A smug smirk replaced the nervous smile. "You miss me huh? Well, I've been thinking about you too. Every day when I wake up I want to be with you."

Another pause. "Of course. My heart aches when I'm away."

Amity stifled a giggled when Boscha turned to her and gagged.

"I promise." Boscha's tone sultry and full of affection. And entirely fake. With that the pink haired girl hung up and pocketed her phone.

"Who was that?" Amity chuckled.

"I know her name started with a V. I just can't tell if she's Veronica, Victoria, Valerie, Violet or Valkyrie." Boscha shrugged. "That's why I gave all of them 'V' as a nickname."

The green haired girl hummed, gently nodding her head. "Smart."

"What are you up too?"

Amity shrugged her shoulders, sticking her hands in her pockets as her feet carried her towards her best friend Willow's workplace. "Nothing, I want to unwind so probably hang out with a friend today."

Boscha sauntered up beside her. "I'm a friend!"

"I meant a friend I can actually stand." Amity teased.

"You wound me." The pink haired girl whined. Hand over her heart with her eyes clenched closed.

Amity snickered and shook her head. "I'm heading over to my best friend Willow's place."

"She cute?" Boscha couldn't help but ask.

"She's very cute and very much not your type."

They turned a corner. Boscha scoffing in slight offence. "I'm everyone's type."

Two woman were walking in the opposite direction infront of them. Without missing a beat, they stood a tad straighter and smiled at them. Boscha tossing a wink.

Satisfied once the women giggled blushed they fell back into their walk. Boscha tossing a thumb over her shoulder.

"See? Told you."

Amity just rolled her eyes and shook her head. "Trust me, Willow is entirely different. She's not like the women we flirt with all the time. She's actually smart."

They stood outside a decent sized flower shop. Amity smiling softly at the colorful flowers out front. Boscha to busy admiring a woman's legs to fully appreciate the flower arrangement.

The green haired girl lightly smacked Boscha to get her attention as she pushed open the front door. Bell chiming softly overhead.

"Hello welcome to Park Flowers-" A soft muffled voice quipped from farther inside the store.

Boscha perked slightly at the attractive voice, slightly intrigued to see the beholder.

Stepping farther into the store, the duo stood infront of the counter. Grey and gold eyes focusing on the small solar powered cactus with sunglasses bobbing back and forth.

They both looked up when they heard footsteps coming closer.

A short woman with adorable circular glasses and dark hair strode over towards them. Her hips carried a confident sway. Boscha felt her mouth pull into a wolfish grin watching those curvy hips move.

"Willow!" Amity greeted. A genuine smile on her face as she focused on her best friend.

She looked amazing as always. Her hair curled perfectly with her clothes complimenting her vibrant green eyes. The apron around her waist drooped exposing her collarbone.

Boscha quickly ran her fingers through her hair, her playboy charm oozing out of her pores in preparation.

"Amity!" Willow answered. A bright smile on her face. Quickly moving around the counter the green eyed girl pulled Amity into a tight hug. "It's been ages since you stopped by!"

Amity returned the hug tenfold. Giving her shorter best friend a tight embrace. "I know, works been horrible."

Willow pulled back with a hum of understanding. Turning slightly to focus on the pink haired girl. Boscha who stood taller when the shorter girl's polite gaze landed on her.

The pink haired girl confidently stuck out her hand for a handshake. The wolfish grin from earlier morphed into a polite smile. Just enough to seem innocent and trustworthy.

Willow accepted the hand shake with a firm grip, surprising the taller pink haired girl. Boscha ignored the feeling of the gardeners hand against her own as she pulled back.

"It's nice to meet you Ms. Park, the pleasure is all mine." Boscha state. Her tone holding a subtle confidence

"I know who you are Havenstar." Willow smirked. "Your family does business with construction and real estate."

"I should count myself lucky a beautiful woman such as yourself knows my name."

Amity's hand slapped her face in the form of a facepalm. She should have known that Boscha wouldn't bother even listening to her.

Willow smiled and looked down bashfully. Stepping closer into Boscha's bubble. Her hand hand coming up to settle on the rich playboy's elbow. Boscha's smile grew wider when the hand traced upwards, settling on her bicep. The pink haired girl flexed voluntarily.

"I never understood why you couldn't have been a model." Willow husked. Her green eyes wide with admiration. Then she pulled away, turning to the side and grabbing a large sack.

Boscha watched in confusion at the shorter girl. What happened? She was just being fawned over?

Her train of thought was derailed when a large sack was shoved into her chest. Arms shooting out instinctively to wrap around the huge heavy sack.

"I also know you are one of the other popular playboys." Willow's starstruck expression vanished. Replaced with a knowing look and raised eyebrow. "Why don't you use those muscles to take that bag of fertilizer to the green house for me please."

Willow stepped to Boscha's side and placed a hand on the small of her back. Gently urging her forward. "It's just passed this door. Set it down near the tools."

Dumbfounded at her charm not working on the girl at all, the pink haired girl stiffly walked through the doorway with the bag of fertilizer in her arms.

Amity tried and failed to smother her snicker as she watched her friend disappear through the doorway. Her gaze landed on a very amused Willow. "I told her you weren't like the other women we flirt with."

They shared a giggle before Willow strode towards the door of the flower shop and flipped the sign to 'closed'. "Come on let's get a coffee."

The taller girl glanced back towards the door Boscha disappeared too. "What about Boscha? You trust her in the store alone?"

Willow turned to gaze at the door Boscha had gone through. "I think she'll be fine. Come on, I'm craving coffee and I know a place."

Together the two women pushed open the store door and began their stroll towards Willow's mysterious cafe.

Except, it wasn't all that mysterious. Amity blinked owlishly at the familiar cafe infront of her. The flowers infront of the shop were still very much taken care of and atmosphere was a tad bit busier than usual seeing as it was noon.

They pushed open the door of the shop. The small bell chiming gently. Customers stood in line waiting for their order. The smart ones that showed up early were sitting comfortably in one of the many tables around the room.

Together they stood in line chatting about nothing in particular to pass the time. Before they knew it they were the ones infront this time.

"Hi, welcome to the Owl House!" Called a familiar voice.

Amity perked slightly with a ghost of a smile on her lips. A wide one Willow noted. Squinting her eyes at her friend she elbowed her softly. "Down girl."

With a shy grin Amity shrugged her shoulders.

"Oh hey guys!" Luz waved as they closed the distance. Brown orbs locked onto the taller girl. "Hey Willow! Hey Amity! Want to try the banana bread or a cinnamon bun?"

"I don't see that in the display case?" Amity questioned. Eying the display case full of food.

Luz giggled softly and shook her head. "I've been experimenting again but I need a second opinion on my cinnamon buns."

Willow could practically feel Amity's fuckboy energy coming out. She puffed out her cheeks in annoyance and raised her foot of the floor slightly. Waiting. Menacingly.

"I wouldn't mind taking a look at your buns-" Amity's line was cut off by Willow stomping on her foot, purposely digging her heel into the girl's toes. She clamped her mouth shut to muffle the yelp of pain.

"Um, are you okay?" Luz asked. Concerned for the taller girl currently hunched over the counter.

"She's fine. Just cramps-" Willow waved her off. Hand wrapping around Amity's arm with an iron grip. "-Right Amity?"

"Right!" Amity squeaked.

"Oof I know how you feel. How about some cinnamon buns and coffee?" Luz smiled at them.

"Sure that'll be awesome Luz." Willow smiled. Paying no mind to Amity glaring next to her.

Luz gives Amity her baked goods? Willow thought as she dug through her purse.

"What the hell was that-" Amity huffed. The pain in her foot subsiding. "I was just-"

Willow whipped out her spray bottle full of water. Silently glad she forgot to put it back on her work table after spraying the plants this morning.

Ssst

"Bad fuckboy."

Amity physically jumped back in fear when the cold water hit her face. Some droplets of water going in her ear making her shudder in disgust at the sensation.

Ssst

"Luz." Willow stated. "Is. My. Friend. No. Flirting." The shorter girl ended each word with a decent sized spray from the bottle. And each time Amity recoiled farther and farther until she was almost pressed up against the display case.

"Ugh! Stop!" Amity grabbed napkins off the counter, furiously wiping her face.

Willow spotted Luz coming and slipped her spray bottle inside her bag as smooth and as fast as a seasoned old western sharp shooter.

"Okay two cinnamon buns and coffees!" Luz proudly exclaimed. Setting the food tray on the counter.

"Willow's usual and Amity's mocha just like her women-" Luz giggled softly. "Strong and exotic."

Amity visibly flinched when Willow glared at her. Attempting to merge with the display case to hide her tall frame.

If the barista was confused at what was going on she didn't show it. Simply tilting her head to the side and smiling.

"Thanks for the food Luz." Willow smiled. "Amity'll pay for it."

Willow took the tray and searched for a booth. Spotting one in the corner she hurriedly made her way over there before it could be stolen.

Amity grumbled as she fished her wallet out of her pocket, taking out a gold colored card. "Here you go Luz."

"Lunch date?" Luz joked. But the humor didn't reach her eyes as she scanned the card.

Amity resisted the urge to gag. "Oh no nothing like that. Willow's just a good friend of mine."

Luz froze for a split second. Eyes coming up to quickly look at Amity before shooting down to focus on the register. "T-that's goo- I mean cool! Willow's been a friend of mine since I moved here."

"Are you enjoying the city?" Amity asked. For once seeming genuinely curious.

Usually whenever women began sharing their life stories they always seemed dull. But listening to Luz was refreshing and interesting and just better.

"Yeah the city is amazing for a small town girl like me." Luz laughed. Tearing the receipt and handing it to the taller girl. "I hope you enjoy the cinnamon buns. I worked on them last night."

Amity took the receipt and carelessly shoved it in her pocket along with her card. An easy smile on her face as she said "I think I'll enjoy anything you give me. You're lovely."

With the tip of her head Amity moved away from the counter plopping down infront of Willow. That smile still on her face.

The green haired girl was so happy she failed to notice the bottle in Willow's hand until a shock of cold water hit her square in the face.

"Ugh!" Amity flailed her arms trying to block the streams of water.

"Bad fuckboy." Willow deadpanned.
