Chapter Six

(First Person POV-CJ)

The battle became a struggle very quickly.

Thalia's spear conducted electricity very well, and in the middle of battle it creates a very harsh fear for her weapon. Not to mention Aegis, her shield, makes me flinch every time I look at it.

I ducked under her spear swipe for her neck, and a few sparks of electricity jumped off her spear and zapped my shoulders.

I shrugged off the pain and pushed forward. I poised to stab her in the thigh, in which she glided pasted with certain elegance, and slammed my side with her spear. Sending hundreds of volts through my body, and for me to fly.

I rolled across the ground, and spat out a bit of blood. I can't keep doing this, I need something to change for me to win.

She started walking towards me, a certain swagger amidst her stride. "I already one Mead, give up the flag and I won't hurt your friends." She stated, obviously cocky.

I pushed myself off the ground with rage. "Over my dead body, you can't hurt them, you are stuck with me Grace."

I then charged forward. We traded blows with each other, Thalia obviously holding back with that damn smile on her face.

I ducked under her spear, and knocked her shield away, leaving her entire right side open, and a sliced.

A wound began forming right then and there, a deep slice going from wrist to shoulder. Thalia screamed in pain, and I immediately felt the results.

The air began heavily smelling like ozone, and I could feel the rage emanating from her in waves.

"You slimy piece of SEAWEED!" She yelled, as she spit her words out.

Lightning formed around her entire body, and turned into a ball around her, and travelled out, all towards a single direction.

ME.

I tried everything I could in the millisecond it took to travel to me. I felt the effects of it almost instantly.

The pain the lightning caused felt like I was being beaten, ripped apart, and stabbed all at the same time. I felt the lightning coursing through my body and stopping my heart for a second. The electric shock hit me to my core, and I felt the effects almost on my soul. Gods did that hurt.

When I opened my eyes again, I could see the sky, and saw that Thalia had that swagger again, stalking towards me to finally finish me off. The pain of that electrical nuke was still there, but slowly dissipating

I could die here.

I blinked, and I saw everything I didn't want to see ever again.

I saw the memories I was trapped in, the feeling of being so helpless, watching my world crumble around me. Not being strong enough for my family, never being strong enough for them. I felt the need to make my father proud, and the sadness when I saw the bruises in the mirror long ago. I saw Avery and Dylan looking at me in fear when I first told them. I felt the anger of not being strong enough, but lastly, I felt the need to get stronger.

The need to prove myself.

I slowly got to my feet, and looked at the Lieutenant with such venom that she glanced away with a look of fear in her eyes. Due to me being ADHD, I could also see she was beginning to tire, that move she did earlier must have been a last resort or emergency kill switch.

I grabbed my sword out of the ground, and pulled on my gut, holding the sword in front of me and sighed.

I felt all the water, every single bit of the water travelling around me. I am not too sure where this water came from, but I could feel the rage the water held. That might have been my own, but I did not complain.

I used the water around me and propelled it, faster than ever before, onto the daughter of Zeus.

The water hit her straight in the face, and caused her to do a backflip to narrowly avoid being spiked into the ground.

She flicked her fingers down again, and smirked.

I then turned the water from behind her, and slammed it onto her stomach, and used the water to hold the electricity, and I dropped the water out of my control and onto the ground.

I saw the last bit of electricity flicker out as the water dissipated, and I saw all the plants in a ten-foot circle around me had died. I also saw the many cuts along my entire body, with most of my clothes being ripped to shreds

Thalia brought her spear forward, and slammed me back onto the ground this time.

She held her spear at my throat, "Yield?" she asked.

I gulped, "Never."

At this moment, hell broke loose between us. Between me rolling backwards out of the way, her slicing a major cut on my back, and me feeling the blood running down my back.

Now, I had venom, electricity, and anger running through my veins.

I charged Thalia without a weapon, in which she in turn dropped behind her shield and tried to get me to look at Aegis' decal.

At some point, water had covered the decal, thanks to my powers, so I did not flinch. When she saw that I had not stopped, all she could do was widen her eyes.

Water formed in my hand as I stepped very close to her, and it created the visual of a blade. I instinctively used the sword to stab into Thalia's shoulder, and pin her to the ground.

Unfortunately for me, she had put her spear back in its mace canister form, and had just pulled the pin.

I felt the spear stab through my stomach and come out my back, as the sword had gone all the way through Thalia's shoulder.

I felt as thousands of volts tore through my system.

I screamed and passed out.

(Line break, yes, sorta cliff hanger, get a drink, this is fun)

(Third Person POV)

The boys, who were all engaged in battle, turned towards the center as they heard a blood curdling scream emanate from their best friend.

Each of the boys faces changed between the view, seeing the amount of blood dripping off of him, and the spear going completely through him. The boys had different faces on, but the end one was all the same between them all, fury.

…..

Avery had saw his closest friend just get stabbed, and felt his fury bursting forth at the seams.

Kayden, who had been watching in horror at the situation, watched all of her portal's get sucked into Avery, his shadow now outlining him and absorbing the light.

Avery walked forward towards Kayden, and slammed his spear into the side of her stomach, not only cutting her but knocking her off her feet.

Kayden rolled backwards and jumped back to her feet, feeling the pain from that last attack probably break a few of her ribs.

Avery, had rushed forward with a speed unheard of, and knocked away Kayden's dagger.

Kayden tried to punch Avery in the face, in which with his darkness surrounding him, blocked the attack with a force that felt like hitting a brick wall.

Kayden felt her wrist shatter, and the last thing she saw was a boot coming straight for her face.

Avery had kicked her so hard in the face she flew backwards, blood spewing out of her now broken nose and slid on the ground. Many Apollo kids began rushing forward and taking care of Kayden as Avery felt his fury rise.

….

River watched as his best friend had more blood outside of him than in, and felt his bloodlust flowing through his veins.

He roared towards his opponent, not even caring that they were currently still interlocked with one another. He ripped his axe through the spear, and felt the celestial bronze infused wood snap under his immense pressure.

Rachel had seen the light at the end of the tunnel, but looked in pure fear as she felt the boy she was just dueling raise in power, his hatred emanating off him.

River felt as if he was unstoppable, and in that moment he used his axe and sliced straight through the girl's failing guard with a broken spear, and sliced her arms.

River then decided it wasn't enough, and speed that rivalled past heroes, he cut and sliced Rachel on every piece of skin he could find. Many tiny cuts along the girl's arms and legs formed, and River then ditched his axe all together and used his fists and beat the ever living shit out of this female.

Right before River had finished getting his anger out, he heard the Apollo campers yelling at him to stop.

In that moment River grabbed the Hunter by her neck and slammed her onto the ground with enough force to put a hole in the ground. He then spit straight onto her face, and he watched as her eyes rolled to the back of her head and took a look in his surrounding, which caused his rage to only rise.

….

Caleb had been demolishing his opponent, but nothing was compared to his drunken rage when he watched CJ fall.

His opponent, who never stood a chance against the might of the son of Dionysus, watched in horror as many vines had begun sprouting out of the ground and soaring at speeds faster than she had seen.

In her last ditch effort, she created a ball all around her with corn, wheat, and other plants that had started growing.

This battle had become way too much for Amanda, as the cuts along her body were truly taking a toll.

The shield didn't last for the daughter of Demeter, unfortunately.

Caleb hacked through the shield with ease, and grabbed the girl by her collar.

She was then thrown by a strength unheard of, and caught in a trap, which bounded her arms and legs, holding her down on the ground.

Caleb then only watched as the blood dripped off of the vines that impaled her through the stomach, and the scream that emanated from her was one close to her death throes. Many hermes kids were sprinting to his location, with a few Apollo kids on their way.

Caleb then immediately crushed all of his vines back into the ground, and could only feel more fury when he turned towards the center.

Ethan saw his brother fall, as blood continued to flow from the wounds along his body, and the spear.

His rage grew to no bounds, and his fiery power was no different.

He felt his hands grow slightly hot, as many of the cuts along his body catch fire along with his daggers and hands.

Caitlyn watched in horror as his daggers fire grew so hot they began looking white.

Ethan rushed forward with unwavering rage, and he roared as he sliced his opponent on every inch he could reach

He sliced the hands that were holding the blades, and she felt searing pain spike through her as she dropped the sword and looked down.

The cuts had sealed themselves, just leaving very deep holes along her knuckles.

Ethan continued his onslaught, now with the girl disarmed, and completely demolished the girl.

Red hot cuts were all along the girl's limbs, as she was looking at the boy in fear and fury.

She attempted to backpedal away from the son of Hephaestus, and using her powers she was able to get a few steps back.

Ethan saw this coming, and smirked when she hit the ground, and her eyes rolling back into her head as the pain had overloaded her brain.

He put out his fires, but felt them itching to come back out when he looked towards the center.

…

Dylan had watched his closest and one of his longest friends fall, and he screamed his name. His opponent then got his attention with a beam of light that barely missed his face.

The look on his face was unadulterated rage, and the Roxy watched as his hands clenched in a way that she knew she made a mistake.

She immediately attempted to create multiple spell arrays at once, as Dylan roared in rage.

She had just barely got her barrier up when she felt the strongest lightning bolt that she has ever seen hit her shield.

This lightning bolt had cracked most of her shield, and she took a gulp of pure terror when she watched as Dylan jumped higher than he should ever be able to, and slam his lightning wreathed hands.

The shield crumbled as Dylan then hit Roxy with so many volts of lightning, any magic arrays she had previously set up shattered, as the pain cracked her mind.

She just barely opened her eyes when she saw Dylan swing his fists, knocking the wind out of her.

She felt electricity coursing through her body over and over again, and soon felt a foot stamp into her face.

Dylan kicked the girl in the jaw, and watched as she then slid a few feet forward before stopping, her jaw set out of its normal place.

He turned and felt more lightning coursing through his veins as he felt a power nearest to his brother, and he turned.

(this is a different but much better line break, the dots mean that all of this happened at the same time btw)

Poseidon had been watching the fight between his son, and the daughter of Zeus. He was very proud when his son's instincts had allowed him to use the water correctly, and watched in horror and rage as lightning soared out of his son and the spear through him.

"FUCK ZEUS AND FUCK HIS RULES." He yelled towards nothing, he was the only one in his palace in Atlantis currently. He roared in such a rage that caused many of the oceans to quiver, and he flashed towards his son.

He flashed in right next to his son. Using water, he removed the spear and gave the daughter of Zeus a look that caused her to immediately feel fear, pure terror.

He then watched as his son's friends demolished their opponents but turned back towards his son.

He began using the water to heal his son, laying him down onto the ground.

He soon felt many other glares feel their way onto him.

He watched as each of his son's friends turned to him, and he watched their rage grow, and them to come sprinting towards him.

He raised the water around him, and knew that his nephews wouldn't be dumb enough to rage him.

"Who are you?" asked one, the son of Zeus. His rage was very terribly contained as the lightning arced around his body.

"Why the fuck is CJ in your arms." Said the son of Dionysus. Poseidon could feel the vines growing underneath him currently.

"Before anymore of you speak, I must take my son to Apollo, he is injured beyond his children's powers.

Before the God of the Sea's knew it, he had five demigods yelling at him, saying that he shouldn't take him, or he will be fine, but their anger had greatly dissipated.

"Take us with you, he is family." Said the son of Hephaestus, the smart one, Poseidon thought.

"Fine, step here, NOW." Boomed the god, as he felt five boys step into the circle of water, and he transported them all to Olympus.
