Chapter Seven

(Third Person POV)

The boys stumbled into the throne room. Poseidon still holding his youngest son as blood began dripping onto the floor.

The boys all struggled not to puke after flash travelling, and finally gathered their bearings, they saw the beauty of the thirteen Olympian thrones.

Each watched and took in the surroundings, but became painfully aware when more of CJ's blood came into contact with the floor.

Poseidon grew to his godly size, and sat upon his throne. He held his son in one hand and flashed in his symbol of power, his trident.

He then shot a beam of water into the domed ceiling, which all seemed to flow towards one chair, this chair so bright it looked like a mini sun.

A being instantly teleported into the throne room, on said throne, and looked forward.

He currently had a red button down on, and all of the buttons were undone, with his sculpted chest showing from underneath. He also had beach shorts on, and a drink in his tanned hands. This god had bright yellow, almost white, blond hair that flowed to his shoulders, and electric blue eyes with yellow dots inside.

This god looked towards the ocean God and spoke, "Oh my Chaos, is everything okay Uncle 'siedon?"

Poseidon spoke, in a hushed tone, "I need your help, my nephew, my son is dying from the aftershocks of Thalia Grace's spear. The water in camp wasn't strong enough to heal this wound, and the lightning rejects normal seawater."

After this, Apollo's demeanor almost changed. "I can feel the boys chance of survival thinning, let's go to my temple, now."

At this moment, the sun God finally noticed the other boys also within the room, all of which having many cuts and bruising forming, but nothing fatal like the boy in his uncle's arms.

Everybody walked into the hospital of Apollo's temple, and watched as Apollo and Poseidon walked into an emergency room.

The boys also noticed at the fast locking of the door to the room, before they could enter.

(LINEBREAK IDK IF THIS PART IS STAYING IN YET)

The boys had been in the temple for some time, sitting in the waiting room outside of the ER. They couldn't hear things form the other side of the door, however, so they had no clue to how their brother in arms was fairing.

Avery spoke, and he had tears in his eyes as all the boys looked at him, "when CJ was stabbed, I felt a strong pulling coming from him. I can't quite explain it, but it's like I felt a black hole forming beneath him. It hurt so much to feel, and currently I still feel the pull."

Ethan looked over all his boys, and knew that he couldn't be weak, he had to pull everybody together. "CJ is going to be fine, hell, he's the strongest out of us."

Dylan, noticing the look in his eyes, took a deep breath and spoke as well. "I mean, his dad is here and the god of healing is here, he will be fine."

A new voice spoke, one that seemed to radiate warmth into the room. Each boy looked up and turned to see a thirty-year-old goddess, or something similar. "That is right, my child. Being hopeful is the best thing to do, and CJ will be fine."

Caleb immediately noticed who this lady was, due to her frequent visits to Camp Half-blood. "Lady Hestia." And bowed very deeply.

All the boys followed through, and Hestia only waved off the boys' actions, enticing them to all rise and look at her.

"You boys are family, much closer than true blood families that I know of." She stated. "Each of you hold a bond with one another that holds no bounds. No rivalry by blood, anger, or fear. It makes me curious for what you boys may be able to do in the future."

All the boys became slack jawed with her statement. A Goddess complimenting them, and their friendships.

"Thank you lady Hestia," said Dylan, "but why have you come here?"

"My dear boy, I am here because I could feel your worries and prayers. I am also the goddess of hope, and I can feel when hope is waning. You boys have also had my interest for a long time." Said the goddess, her eyes looking at each of the boys softly.

At this moment Apollo and Poseidon walked into the room.

Each boy stood up instantly, and began asking the gods a million questions.

Apollo flashed his aura of heat, which caused each boy to hesitate. Apollo took this moment and began. "Your friend will be fine, he is currently healing in the purest water I have, blessed by my healing and Uncle Ocean behind me." He said with a smile. "It will be a little while before he wakes up, and it was very shaky getting started, but he will be fine in no time."

"What part was shaky, Lord Apollo?" asked the son of the Underworld.

"Please," responded Apollo with a smile, "No lord stuff, but the amount of lightning that hit the boy was enough to fry him to bits, inside and out. Truly, the only reason he survived was the healing Poseidon gave him right at the start. If he acted any later, CJ might not have turned out well."

Each boy shook at the thought, but Apollo continued, "But, do not worry boys, CJ will be fine in a few hours, until then, we wait for him to heal."

The sighs of relief that came out of the boys, and the hope Goddess, was heard all across Olympus.

After a few seconds of pause, Caleb spoke, "what about the game?"

Hestia smiled at the boys' competitiveness, and responded, "I think each of you boys forget the final rule of the game. 'If a god interferes with the game, it is immediately ceased until resumed by all parties involved.'"

"Also, when Thalia got over her fear of her uncle," Hestia then glared at Poseidon, "she saw the utter bloodbath you all created and immediately forfeited, knowing her injuries, plus the combined wrath of you five, utterly terrified her. She lost every last bit of hope and will to fight."

The boys couldn't believe it. They had beat the Thalia Grace, the lieutenant of the Hunters of Artemis. One of the most powerful demigods to walk this planet. A true name to fear, without ever fighting her?

The boys began talking to each other, and Apollo, Poseidon, and Hestia sat down with the boys. The air smelled like seawater, felt like a cool summer day, and they felt at home.

The boys also didn't quite understand why the gods were sitting with them, so silence began, until Poseidon spoke, "We must stay here, to ensure my son is safe, and to keep our powers healing him. Plus, I would like to know who my son sees as family."

Apollo spoke next, "You boys also intrigue me, and seem cool." He turned to Hestia, "If I may ask, with no disrespect, why are you sticking around?"

"As I told these boys, I am very interested in how they became so close, especially with the powers they managed to bring out due to almost losing a brother."

The boys nodded, and Apollo spoke in a comedic tone, "so, boys, let's do this right. My name is Apollo, I am the God of the sun, archery, prophecy, athleticism, truth, and healing, at your service. Who are all of you?"

Each boy laughed at his laid back tone, and began introducing themselves. Each boy felt right at home, explaining themselves to the three Gods. The gods began asking them stories about what they have done, and how they all became so close.

After about an hour or so, River's eyes widened and he spoke with urgency. "What about the girls at camp, how are they all doing?"

Apollo only laughed at the sight of the son of Ares' worry, "do not worry, I have blessed my children to the best of my abilities, so the girls should all be doing fine. But Gods you guys were brutal. The amount of prayers I received from them were brutal."

Each boy laughed nervously, which Apollo pointed out, and they continued conversing about their past adventures with the son of the sea. Each boy adding different details and Poseidon asking questions, Apollo laughing at the stupidity, and Hestia smacking her forehead with the danger of some of these things.

Many hours pass by, when something subtly passed over the gods' bodies. Apollo and Poseidon immediately stand up, and rush over to CJ's room.

The boys pass a look of confusion, and even Lady Hestia looks over confused.

After a few minutes of dead silence, all looking at the slammed door, Poseidon walks out with his son, one arm wrapped around him shoulders and attempting to walk. Apollo was hot behind them, yelling at CJ.

"..CJ you should be resting, you almost died for fu-"started Apollo, but was stopped when Hestia smacked him right on the back of the head.

Everybody laughed at this, and Apollo only got angrier until he saw CJ sit down in one of the chairs and grin. At this, Apollo waved his hand, and his medical center transformed into a living room.

All of the boys looked around in awe, and now with CJ, they truly took in their surroundings, enjoying the beauty of the temple around them.

The boys all then settled, after all rearranging themselves onto a couch across from CJ, which included two boys sitting on the armrests (Dylan and Ethan).

CJ cleared his throat and started speaking, after a pregnant pause had begun to brew within the room. "So, I must say my thanks Lord Apollo, for helping save me. Also, thank you father, you two saved me. I can't express my gratitude."

Apollo then laughed and spoke, "Enough of the lord sh- stuff." Hestia was staring at Apollo at this point, for his language was foul. "Just call me Apollo, and don't sweat it. My only payment being that you guys always fill me in on pranks, I love hearing what you all do. The amount of times my kids have prayed to me for patience has been killer."

All the boys laughed at this, and Apollo started but Poseidon abruptly cut him off, "My son, I am so proud of you. You fought valiantly, and it is a father's duty to fight for my son. You all, "he turned to the boys on the couch, "thank you for being there for my son, you all fought like Spartans."

Hestia spoke before Apollo got a chance to open his mouth, which turned into the god of the sun to start pouting. "Boys, you all fought for each other, and for family. From which I must say that I am thoroughly impressed. Always feel free to talk to me at the campfire. I will thoroughly enjoy the company."

Hestia gestured for Apollo to start speaking. "Thank Chaos! Anyway, what did my children do to you six in order for you to put black hair dye in all of their hair?"

The boys all laughed nervously, and Caleb started. "Well one of them made fun of my lack of hair, and another said Avery is too emo for them to like, being the 'Prince of Darkness,' they said."

Avery then spoke, "Well, that statement is kind of true, but Apollo your kids can be very mean sometimes, especially when one shot Dylan in the leg."

"They said it was an accident, but I call bull." Said Dylan.

Apollo thought for a moment. "So your saying my kids are getting to much of an ego in camp?"

"Not exactly sir, but they put my cabin to shame in how mean they can be, sometimes they just think so highly of themselves." Stated River, which all three gods laughed at that point.

"Son, that is having an ego." Said Hestia, which caused all the boys to laugh, but thank the gods for it not being them who said.

CJ spoke to his dad, "What is next then dad? I mean, I know I'm not one hundred percent yet, but I think that I will be fine after a nap."

The boys then looked at three gods, who all stared back at the boys.

"Well, we must celebrate your guys' victory today right? I mean, you all have been winning every game for a while now." Said Apollo.

"If I'm not mistaken, I think the record for most games won, was just broken today." Said Hestia.

Poseidon finished, "I am also very proud to present that the record holders now belong to you six, so boys, if I'm not mistaken, let us all go see your fathers."

(LINEBREAK I thought about stopping here but then again, after the mammoth of the last chapter, I think I can continue)

Each of the boys walked with lady Hestia and Apollo, as Poseidon spoke about being needed very urgently.

The boys walked towards the throne room to see each of the Gods, their respective fathers, sitting within atop their thrones.

Zeus spoke as the boys stood in a line, and Hestia grew to her godly size, and sat in her throne on the end.

"Congratulations, demigods, you have broken every single record held at Camp Half-blood. Not only that, you have broken most records set by previous generations, all the way from Greece. If the last generation had not set the standards so high for you buys, you all would probably be the strongest demigods of all history."

Zeus continued speaking, and honestly most of the boys zoned out. The king of the gods had this ability to talk so much that it was almost as if he liked the sound of his voice.

His booming voice brought the boys out of their stupor. "Dylan Luster."

Dylan stepped forward, unsure of what his father planned to do. His father walked off his throne, shrinking to his human size, and was holding two rings in his hands. He walked to his son, and spoke. "to you, my good demigod, I am giving you these weapons."

The boy held the rings in each hand, and decided to put them on. He looked at his father.

"Do not fray, twist the rings my son."

Dylan did as he was told, and two metallic claws grew on his hands. Outlining his hands in bright silver with laws coming out the end of where his knuckles were. He looked at them in awe and felt the strength in the almost lightweight material.

"Courtesy of Lord Hephaestus, he made them specifically by design of your fighting style." Said the king of the Gods.

Dylan nodded to the blacksmithing God, who only smiled in return.

The prince of Olympus then walked forward and squeezed his father in a hug. An action unseen by all the gods and their children.

The king only smiled and whispered something in his ear. "My son, I am proud of you, but I have a record to keep up. Know I am proud of you, always."

Dylan smiled, and swung his newly fashioned weapons in his hands, and walked back towards his place in line.

The lord of the dead spoke next, "Avery Lily."

Avery took his step forward, looking into the bright golden eyes that looked so similar to his own. "Yes, father?"

"My son, I present you this." Hades held out a pair of glasses in his hand.

Avery grabbed the glasses and put them on, a little confused. He was thoroughly surprised when a six-foot glaive popped into his hands when he took them off.

The lord of the dead smiled at this, and spoke, "My child, I am so proud of you, for you are one of the strongest demigods I have ever met. I have very high hopes for you, Avery."

Avery then ran forwards, and squeezed his father into his arms, and The king of the underworld, only smiled and patted his back.

He nodded towards his father and stepped back in line.

"River." Said the god of war, who was holding a belt in his hands.

River stood tall, finally meeting one of his parents. He was nervous, but also so happy many of the other boys could see tears in his eyes.

"My son, a true warrior on the battle field. I want to bestow upon you this." And held the belt out to his son.

River, seeing his predecessors, knew it would be a weapon of someway. It was a deep black belt with a shining gold belt buckle, and the belt had a blood red line going across the entire side of it.

River finally yanked at the belt buckle, and two things came shimmering into existence.

First, was a small circular shield that shimmered onto his right arm, with a dragon decal on the front of it.

Secondly, was a five-foot long spear with a red ribbon hanging off the back end. The handle was wrapped in red cotton, and all up and down the shaft were long strips of gold, that lead to the spike on the top. Said spike was bright silver, with the gold strips laying along the top as well.

River stared at his weapons in awe, and back to his father. "My Spartan, I have been watching you. Make me proud."

River nodded and his dad held out a hand. He took this hand and shook it, then ignored his father's wishes and let the tears fall. He hugged his father tightly and his father hugged him back.

Caleb then looked up, as Dionysus called upon him. "Caleb Dowers."

Caleb walked to his father a little confused. As his father had nothing in his hands. "My boy, may I see your axe for one moment?"

Caleb then pulled the rippling purple axe out of its magical hiding place, and handed it to his father.

His father then walked over to Hephaestus, who smiled, and turned around for a minute.

"My son, I am beyond proud of you. You are truly becoming a man that I can speak of, please, continue your rule. I have high standards for you my son." Spoke the wine god.

At this point, Hephaestus brought the weapon back out.

Caleb didn't notice any change to the weapon. Until he noticed a small vine hanging off the end.

The boy pulled on said vine, and in his hands were two smaller versions of the weapon he had in his hands.

"Make me proud, my child."

Caleb then looked at his dad, and his dad only smiled at him.

He walked back in line, playing and finding the weight of his brand new axe.

"CJ Mead." Boomed Poseidon.

CJ stepped forward, and very bright eyes glanced towards the king of the Gods.

"Poseidon, you were supposed to say his real name, C-" spoke Zeus, but multiple things happened during this time before he could say his name.

Firstly, each of the boys had a very dangerous look in their eyes, which in turn after watching the previous slaughter of the hunters, was a slight danger. Not much, however, due to being King he could smite them without a problem.

Secondly, Hestia had caused the fire in the center of the Hearth to burn dangerously close to the ceiling of the domed roof. The flames licking the artwork along the ceiling. Zeus was unsure of the reason why she was upset, but having his eldest sister on his bad side could be a major issue.

Lastly, Poseidon's trident lay dangerously along his neck, each prong poking his throat dangerously. The trident itself was humming with power, along with the rest of the room. Poseidon had a few words laying upon his eyes, but the easiest Zeus could read was Don't you dare.

Zeus then put his hands up in surrender, and the room became much softer around them.

"My son, I have never been more proud of you than I am now. As that is why I am giving you this in return. Pull your necklace, my child."

CJ was very confused at this point, and the prince of the oceans looked at him confused. "Pull this, dad?" pointing to his silver trident chain around his neck.

His dad only nodded, and CJ did so, and what appeared in his hands was astounding.

A three-foot blade, made with many different colors of the seas. Many bright blues and dark greens, along with bright greens and deep blues. The colors of the blades all meshed and flowed like waves. The guard of the blade was quite entrancing as well, as deep black prongs popped up along the blade. Two prongs, on each side of the sword, sharpened to cut steel with ease, each shown like horns on the end of the guard, curved beautifully. The handle was wrapped in dark green leather with a bright blue diamond decaled counterweight. The blade fit comfortably in his hands, and felt right.

"Two things, my son. Firstly, the sword is made of Atlantean Purrite, and with Hephaestus' help, we could make this beautiful blade for you. Secondly, this," Poseidon pointed towards the twin prongs, "Is a sword snapper, with proper training you could snap and break any weapon you come across. This is my gift to you, my son." The king of the oceans stepped forward, his arms open for a hug.

CJ sprinted forward, and gave his father a bear hug, saying thank you.

After walking back towards his friends, the final god took a step forward, Lord Hephaestus.

"Ethan Deles."

Ethan walked forward, a look of pride in his eyes.

His father was holding two bands in his hands, and held them expectantly.

Ethan took hold of the two red arm bands, but was confused nonetheless.

Hephaestus sighed and spoke. "Now, I am not as well-spoken as my family, but put the bands around any body part, and they will fit in perfectly to said body part. Not too tight, not too big. Also, pull on the bands whenever you are ready."

In Ethan's hands, after doing as his father said, two daggers popped up in his hands. Each made deep black in color, and the guard and handle twisted. The blades themselves were silver, with very noticeable black decal's all along the blades and handle.

"Oh my gods, thank you father." Said the boy of flames.

"I am not done yet, my son, flip the blades." Said the god

Ethan did so, and in his hands were two axes, except each axe had bright red blade, with flames dancing along the blade.

"Saving the best for last, I pulled a few tricks myself, son. I am proud of you." Spoke the god of blacksmithing.

Ethan nodded towards his father, and walked back in line with his brothers.

Each boy brandished their new weapon, and looked at each other and their parents.

Hephaestus spoke, and each demigod turned to face him. "My boys, I do not want to be rude, but two things. I made those blades myself, so please do not worry about being gentle. Two, if you want to put away the weapons, just imagine the weapon in its non-weapon form. It will form back into its place and this is our gift to you all."

The boys did this, and smiled with their new accessories. Each boy bowed to Hephaestus and their respective father, saying thank you.

"Now, demigods, you have spent far too much time on Olympus, time to go to camp. Hestia, will you do the honors?" asked Zeus.

Hestia only nodded, and the next thing each boy saw was a wall of fire.

Hi guys, I have a few things to explain.

Firstly, I love writing, but i am currently struggling to get my perfected content out. So, if you see any errors, let me know so I can fix it asap.

Secondly, happy birthday Avery.

Thirdly, I changed a few things for all my PJO readers. One being that because of the Percy Jackson and his wishes for the council, the gods have deemed it necessary to give them weapons if deemed worthy. Currently, as I said on the first page, there is NOTHING happening, so being deemed worthy is easier, but it is still a struggle nonetheless. Anyway, the gods gave the boys these weapons because they broke records. Not in just CtF, but in every sport. I could name a few, but it would be pointless. Each boy individually excelled, and collectively they are monsters.

Lastly, I must say that this chapter is now the NEW TITLE OF LONGEST CHAPTER, but it seems quite long indeed. I gave everybody their weapons, and each matches and/or is similar to their powers. But anyway, no spoilers, but the next chapter will be quite different.

That's all for now, Luv! -Echo
