LaCuevademigustos: Yeah the Skave plot wasn't as prominent as it was in canon now that the Keith thing is cleared up. As for Duncan telling Courtney about Mal, I needed someone for Duncan to warn, and he figured Courtney was smart enough to do something about Mal.
Ellismskd24: He'd probably lose.
WeirdAlfan101: Sorry that they were eliminated so early, but the point of them being team captains was so they could choose the teams I got. They probably would've gone further but I didn't want to drag on the Skave plot and as for Sammy if I kept her around she either would have likely been flanderized to keep Mal hidden or Mal would be exposed too soon. Neither option was feasible so I eliminated her.
acosta perez jose ramiro: Courtney's technically on the fence about Mal but she's onto him.
Screaming Gaffers: Mike/Mal, DJ, Courtney, Noah, Amy
Killer Grips: Sky, Dawn, Duncan, Heather, Leshawna
"Last time on Total Drama Action!" Chris recapped "Duncan warned Courtney about Mal, which the dude himself happened to hear, ha ha not the best move Duncan. The Killer Grips tried to scare the Screaming Gaffers and failed miserably. Despite Mal's insistence to try and get rid of Duncan, one of his allies backstabbed him and gave Dave the boot instead. Will Sky become a moping mess now that her boyfriend is gone? Or will she become more determined to win the game? Stay tuned to find out on Total! Drama! Action!"
(After theme song)
We open up the episode to see Amy walking out of her trailer to see Mal's arm pull her behind the trailer.
Mal soon grabbed both of Amy's arms and began speaking darkly "Who did you vote for?"
"D-Duncan, like we planned." Amy said fearfully.
"Really, because I'm not sure if you did, three of us had to vote together and as far as I'm concerned you're more untrustworthy than Noah." Mal gritted his teeth while squeezing Amy's arms.
"Why would I betray my only ally. It would be a foolish game move." Amy stuttered.
"Fine then, your story is valid." Mal let go of Amy's arms making the mean twin rub her arms in pain.
"But remember my little warning, if you try to betray me, there will be dire consequences." Mal warned Amy before walking off.
Confessional:
"Oh goodness, I don't know what to do, I should ditch Mal and stand up to him, but he's really scary, mean, and awful and he makes it very hard to stand… up… to… him." Amy said before having a realization "Whoa, is this what Samey felt like in the past?l"
Confessional Ends
Mal and Amy walk over to the Craft Services Tent where they begin sitting on chairs at the table.
Noah was seen next to Amy before whispering to her "Where were you?"
"Um, I was getting my makeup done." Amy smiled awkwardly "I need to look my best after all."
"Uh huh." Noah nodded with a skeptical frown before going back to reading his book and when he wasn't looking, Mal gave Noah a glare.
"Morning kiddos!" Chris said as he entered the tent with a smile. "Hope you enjoyed breakfast, because you'll probably be tasting it again at some point today."
"And exactly what torture have you concocted for us today?" Duncan asked.
"Nothing much." Chris said nonchalantly "Just warning you that today's gonna be a disaster." Chris then chuckled. "Get it? It's Disaster movie Day!"
"You know," Chris continued as the scene flashed to Chef running against a plain white background. "People running from their lives from volcanoes," a magma oozing volcano dropped behind Chef and created a large crack in the ground, "earthquakes," the crack opened up, "asteroids," a space rock landed behind Chef and barely missed him, "and tidal waves." A large wave washed the cook away, but it left behind his hat.
"The more disastrous the better," Chris finished as the scene flashed back to the shocked faces of the ten teenagers.
Confessional:
"My Team is a disaster enough already since I only seem to control one vote." Mal sighed angrily with his hair looking a bit frazzled. "I have to find some way to regain control and get Courtney or Noah out of here."
Confessional Ends
Soon the camera cuts to Mike's brain where he's been dragging his chained rock.
"Wait, what's that over here?" Mike asked in shock as he saw a door with Mal's face on it "What are those places, they kinda look like…"
"What? What? What?" A bunch of question marks float in the air, Mike grabbed one and unhooked his chain.
"Yes!" Mike said happily.
"Why? Why? Why?" The question marks asked as they float off.
"Because." Mike shrugged before running and getting inside the door.
"Wh-where am I?" Mike asked.
Mike then saw some of his old memories. "Hey, are those my memories?"
Soon we cut back to Chris and the ten contestants next to some sort of control pad outside.
"Your first challenge is, the earthquake of inevitable pain." Chris announced as the camera panned to show the obstacle course.
"Each team has to run the course challenging your dexterity," the tires were shown, "maneuverability," the screen was split showing the cones on top and tires on the bottom, "and other mad monkey skills," the camera then showed the monkey bars.
We then see Chef at the top of the course, tossing a rolling pin with a devious smile before cutting back to Chris. "First team to the top wins," he announced. "Best of two wins today's reward. Alright take your marks."
We then see Sky preparing to run with a smirk "I'm not losing this."
"Let's do this." Courtney said in a motivating tone.
"Aaand," Chris said as he took out an air horn from his pocket, "Action!" Chris then blew it.
Soon we see everyone running on the tires before Amy smirks "This is so laughably easy."
"ARE YOU READY TO ROCK!" Chris asked before laughing and pulling a lever. The course began to shake violently causing Amy and Noah to fall on the tire, Noah on top of Amy.
"Ew, get off of me nerd." Amy snapped before getting up and trying her best to keep balance.
We then see Heather and Duncan at the cones and while they tried to keep balance they ended up falling.
We then see Dawn and Leshawna at the monkey bars when we pan over to Chef who was rubbing his hands gleefully "Perfect time to get ridda some old junk."
Chef then reached in a bag and pulled out a football, he tossed it from one hand to the other before deciding to throw it which hit Dawn with enough force to bump into Leshawna causing both of them to let go of the monkey bars.
Chef then began mindlessly tossing out objects from his bag, a kitchen sink, a bowling, ball, a hammer, and a rotary phone.
Soon the shaking stopped relieving everyone.
"Finally we catch a break." Courtney said in annoyance.
"Aftershock!" Chris said joyfully before pulling another lever. The course began to violently shake due to this but even more so than last time.
"And now it's lava time." Chris smirked before pushing a button releasing a red hot substance when Chef tasted it, "Tomato soup!" Chef asked. "That was supposed to be for supper!"
We then see Leshawna and Dawn holding onto the monkey bars in fear as well as Noah and Amy.
"Woowhee!" Chris said fanning himself. "Is it hot in here? How about a cool refreshing hail storm?!" The camera zoomed out showing the host at the seat of a golf ball turret gun that was attached to a golf cart driven by Chef "Golf ball sized hail is bad but hail sized golf balls are even worse!"
Chris then began shooting the golf balls in which Sky began dodging but then she ended up being hit by one and fell into the tube.
"I got one." Chris announced to Chef who said "Don't get cocky kid."
Soon Chris continued shooting golf balls when Amy began screaming from the monkey bars "Not the face!"
Amy was then hit by multiple golf balls and fell into the water.
Confessional:
"Ugh the nerve of McLean to do that to ME!" Amy growled.
Confessional Ends
We then cut back to Chris as he pulled a cord with a button on it "After Aftershock." Chris announces as he pushes the button which opens up a crack.
We see the Screaming Gaffers together as Noah began to fall into the fissure until Amy gasped and grabbed onto Noah's arm and pulled him out.
"Huh, why did you save me?" Noah asked in shock.
"I may not like you losers but I don't want any of you to get hurt. Besides, we can't let them have our lead." Amy explained.
Meanwhile the Killer Grips were going across a balance beam, Leshawna was currently balancing on it but some golf balls hit her and she fell in a pit.
We then see the Screaming Gaffers bear their tube when golf balls are being shot at them.
"Get behind me everyone, I'll protect you." DJ told his team, determined as he took some of the golf balls for them as the rest of the Gaffers went in the tube with Courtney sending DJ a concerned look.
Soon Chris ran out of golf balls which DJ noticed "Hey it stopped." before jumping in the tube.
"Cheeef," Chris whined. "Do something!"
Chef reversed the cart quickly, which crashed it on the wall of the bottom of the obstacle course.
Chef climbed up to the top of the course and quickly threw a potted plant that hit Amy but failed to knock her off the balance beam.
Soon we see Chef throwing a bunch of stuff again and we also see that everyone made it to the end of the course except Noah and Dawn who were climbing the wall and the one who made it over the wall first was…
Dawn as she fell to the ground and dragged herself towards her team.
"And the Killer Grips win the advantage." Chris announced.
"Yes." The Killer Grips cheered.
"The loser Gaffers." Chris gestured to the Screaming Gaffers who glared at Chris "What will become of them, find out on Total! Drama! Action!"
"Anyway, after everything that's happened the Killer Grips have been deemed the winner of this challenge." Chris announced as we see each team on a raft.
"Yeah woo woo woo." Sky whooped.
"Anyway, It's time for the second disaster themed challenge. Who's excited?" Chris asked.
Everyone was silent and glared at Chris.
"Because of their win, the Grips get this advantage in the next challenge." Chris rapidly made a paper airplane and threw it to the Grips. It sailed in the air and hit Duncan in the eye. Dawn then picked up the paper and unfolded it.
"Numbers? Hmm." Dawn pondered.
"Okay, time to get in the submarines." Chris said before a flash cut to the Screaming Gaffers in their section of the submarine.
"Well this place stinks." Amy said angrily.
Soon Ana alarm went off with the place flashing red making the Killer Grips on their side of the submarine fearful.
"I don't like this." Sky gulped.
"Me neither." Dawn said.
"For this challenge," Chris said over the intercom. "You've gotta get out before it's too late."
"What do you mean 'too late?'" Leshawna asked.
We then see Chris and Chef watching from the monitor room "Oh you'll find out."
We then see that Chris and Chef are playing cards "Pick up two," Chef said as he placed a card on the table and the host grabbed a pair.
"You mind cranking that lever?" Chris asked before Chef did so.
Soon water began to fill up on both sides of the submarine.
"The water is filling up and it's pretty dark in here." Sky said fearfully.
"No problem." Duncan said "I've got great night vision. Most of the stuff I get up to happens at night." He walked off and Sky and Leshawna gave an uncertain look.
Duncan then found a box with flashlights on them and began speaking "Now get to work people."
Meanwhile Amy found three flashlights and gave one each to Mal and Noah.
"Okay, now that we have our flashlights we need to figure out what we should do."
"There's an exit up there." Mal pointed out.
"There's one down here too." Noah said.
"Alright; let's try the top lock first since the bottom one's a combo lock." DJ told everyone.
Soon we see the Screaming Gaffers in a human ladder with DJ on the bottom, Courtney, Mal, and Amy at the middle and Noah on the top.
Noah then grabbed onto the turn valve and turned it but it ended up showing a shark was in it.
Noah screamed and immediately closed the exit.
Soon we cut back to Chris and Chef in the monitor room.
"Sharks, huh, don't you think that's a bit much?" Chris asked.
"Maybe it was looking back." Chef shrugged.
"It might be time to end the challenge. That water's pretty high and those kids are terrible swimmers."
"Fair enough." Chef said before turning over to the lever, he tried to pull it but it ended up breaking.
"Oh that's not good." Chef said with widened eyes.
"We've gotta get the cast outta there!" Chris exclaimed. "Simple formula. No cast means no show which means an end to my luxurious lifestyle!"
"Wow are you that selfish?" Chef asked incredulously.
"Okay, we can't use that exit, any ideas on what to do?" Amy asked fearfully.
"Well I could try picking the combo lock. All I need to do is hear a click and I'll know if I got the right numbers." Noah said.
"Then What are you waiting for? Hurry before we all perish!" Mal yelled angrily.
Noah nodded before immediately beginning to turn the combo lock.
Meanwhile Courtney raised an eyebrow at Mal before Mal began speaking "What? I'm worried for my life."
Heather soon takes the paper in her hands away from Duncan "I will be the one who opens the lock and saves us all."
"And What makes you think you'll be doing it, your highness?" Duncan asked angrily before the two began fighting over the paper making it slip out of their grip and into the water where the numbers on the paper became smudgy.
Sky picked it up and yelled at Duncan and Heather "Nice job, now we are doomed if Chris doesn't save us!"
"This might be the end, like the end end. And I wanna live." Leshawna began tearing up.
"I know you're scared, it's okay to cry." Sky said.
"I'm not crying!" Leshawna replied indignantly. "Leshawna never cries!"
"You sure blubbered a lot when there was a reward on the line." Duncan pointed out.
"Huh?" Leshawna asked before remembering "Oh yeah, I to-totally forgot about that."
Duncan gasped before speaking "You're a total sham!"
"You mean Leshawna fake cried to get the reward with Leshaniqua?" Heather asked angrily.
"You're gonna regret this!" Duncan yelled.
"Guys now is not the time to fight." Sky said getting in between Leshawna and Duncan.
"Hold on, I might be able to read this, let me try." Dawn said, taking the paper in her hands before trying to use the combo lock.
Soon we see Chris and Chef in the monitor room with Chris smiling "Brilliant Noah or Dawn are gonna save the day, then the water will drain from both chambers and I'll still have a paycheck!"
Chef rolled his eyes at Chris' selfishness.
Soon we see both Noah and Dawn trying to solve the combination, we see both of them on a split screen in which both were seen trying to crack the combo but the hatch that opened first was…
Dawn's.
Soon the Killer Grips soon swam into the hatch and Chris and Chef began cheering from the monitor room.
Soon the water drained from the Screaming Gaffers' part of the submarine.
"Oh thank goodness we're alive." Amy sighed in relief.
Mal's hair was slicked over his eye and he immediately shoved it away from his eye.
The footage skipped ahead to a campfire at night. We see that the ten teenagers were wrapped in towels and sitting on the benches separated by team.
"Well, wasn't that an exciting day?" Chris nervously chuckled before speaking "Now let's see what the Grips have won, oh oh."
"It's an all-expense paid trip to... British Columbia! You'll be staying at the exclusive resort, 'On the Volcano!" A charming lodge on the roof of a little known active volcano on Vancouver Island, you'll take an eight-day hike of the craggy, treacherous-" Chris said before Courtney interrupted him in a eerily calm tone "We respectfully refuse."
Confessional:
"We almost died in there, I think I have every right to be mad at Chris, besides I need to make sure Mike is really Mike." Courtney said.
Confessional Ends
"We'll just take some chips and soda if that's okay?" Courtney said.
"Suit yourself," Chris shrugged "More money for my end of season bonus."
"And with that, we're at the end of another awesome episode! What disaster lies in store for our teams next time? I'm your host, Chris McLean, asking you to tune in, turn on, and find out right here... on Total! Drama! Action!" Chris finished.
Author's Note: So with that, the episode ends, it was a bit tough to find out what to do with the lock, What with Harold not around but Noah and Dawn were nice alternatives.
I had Chef panic over the campers' safety because I wanted to show that he's more sane than Chris and somewhat cares about their safety.
Anyway, hopefully you enjoyed the episode and I'll see you later.
