LaCuevademigustos: Yeah I had to have Max survive somehow.
acosta perez jose ramiro: Yeah Dawn's injury was too much for her to continue.
Screaming Gaffers: Mike/Mal, DJ, Noah, Amy
Killer Grips: Sky, Duncan, Heather, Max
"Last time on Total Drama Action. Our caveman movie challenges made some people act like actual cavemen. They made fires, they clashed, and were even attacked, but in the end even with Duncan cheating, the Grips decided to eliminate Dawn due to her injury given by Mal. Will Mal be able to claw his way out of elimination? Will Sky survive on Team Evil? Find out right here, right now, on Total! Drama! Action!" Chris recapped.
(After theme song)
The episode starts with the guys sleeping in the guys' trailer when trumpets are heard playing.
"I'm awake Momma! You can stop now!" DJ bolted up from the top bunk.
Mal was below him on the bottom bunk "DJ if you added trumpets to your snoring it is definitely time for you to perish."
Soon the boys and girls all got out of their trailers and Chris was seen in a marching band hat with a bass drum and cymbal on his back that would play whenever he took a step.
"Morning sports fans!" Chris said happily. "Who's ready to put up a good offense?"
Ghetti here." Chef called out as he showed up with a food vendor outfit with spaghetti balls with sauce on top.
He then threw the spaghetti balls to everyone.
Mal, DJ, Duncan, and Sky caught them with no problem.
Amy and Heather caught theirs' but sauce got in their hair.
"My hair!" Heather said, horrified.
Noah and Max however tried to catch them but they ended up being hit by them and falling over.
"Can we get some context?" Sky asked.
"The context is breakfast." Chris answered.
"We get pasta for brekkie?" Amy raised an eyebrow.
"It's called carbo-loading, contestants." Chris explained, "Today, you're all going to give 200% in our Sports Movie challenge! So suck that ghetti back you lovable underdogs, destined to come back from certain failure!" Chris told the cast as he began to walk away. "We've got a training run!"
Confessional:
"Finally a challenge that's custom made for me. I just gotta do this right and not get distracted and I'll be able to win for our team and Mal will be sent to the Lame-o-sine." Sky smirked.
Confessional Ends
Soon we see all eight contestants running to the sports set with Sky and Amy in the lead not looking so tired while everyone else trailed behind them out of breath.
"That's all you got, sports fans? Man up! It's time for more action!" Chris said angrily.
"Three cups of spaghetti, AND a 3k jog, all I'm ready for is a nap." Noah said, worn out, collapsed and got back up in surprise, and raised an eyebrow.
"Is this a plastic lawn?" Noah asked.
"Astro-turf," Chris answered. "Hello? It's a set?"
"Today's competition is gonna require sweat, guts, heart, and sweat." Chris announced.
"You said sweat twice." Sky pointed out.
"That's 'cause it's not just your sweat you'll be dealing with. There's Chef's sweat too!" Chris gestured to Chef who was in a jersey sweating while doing jumping jacks.
"You'll be pushing him the length of the field," Chris explained. "And, he just ate a huge jar of jalapeno peppers, so he ought to be spraying like a gym class shower."
"So we gotta push spiced up Chef like some kinda dummy?" DJ asked.
"Don't call me dummy," Chef warned as he leaned against a punching bag.
"Sorry." DJ said meekly.
"Well are we going to act like imbeciles or are we going to push?" Mal asked angrily, making his team glare at him.
Confessional:
"What? There's no use in playing nice with these peons if they already know my true nature." Mal shrugged.
Confessional Ends
Chris blew a whistle and the four Gaffers tried to push Chef, and while DJ was able to move Chef a bit it was still difficult.
"That all ya got?" Chef taunted. "I can push better than that on my day off!"
"You dare to taunt me." Mal seethed before running backwards and then forwards pushing the punching bag and Chef a long distance, impressing the cook.
"Have we learned our lesson?" Mal smirked at Chef.
"Eh, it was mediocre at best." Chef shrugged before walking off.
Mal growled at this before the camera flashed to a group of tires that had been set up at the other end of the field.
Soon we see Sky, Duncan, Heather, and Max running into the tires, they seemed to have no trouble until it was revealed they were stuck to the tires.
"Hey, why are we stuck to these tires?" Sky asked incredulously.
"This is making me very uncomfortable." Heather complained.
"Aww, really? I'm sorry!" Chris told them mockingly as he walked up before telling the camera "Wait 'til they get a load of the mouse traps!"
Soon a bunch of snaps were heard as the Grips began screaming in pain.
"Snap to it, losers!" Chris called out with a grin.
We then cut to everyone crawling through a mud pit under barbed wire.
"I've never done this at sport practice or any of these obstacles." Sky said as she crawled.
"You're right." Chris told the gymnast, "But we had some mud and barbed wire left over from the war movie, and it just seemed fun to me!"
The contestants groaned in frustration.
We cut to everyone back on the sports set covered in mud, waiting for Chris to speak.
"That truly bit." Duncan complained "It is over, isn't it?"
"Yeah, who won anyway?" Mal asked.
"Considering that it wasn't a challenge, nobody!" Chris told the contestants.
"Huh?!" All the castmates said in shock.
"It was just to establish who's playing who for the real contest to follow." Chris explained before motioning over to a large screen nearby that was divided into four section with each depicting a stick figure that was punching on yellow background; swinging a racket on blue; wrestling with another figure on red; and throwing a ball on green.
"We're running four sporto contests, Chris continued, "with competitors seeded according to these results." The four-way split left the screen and was replaced by two columns of contestants' pictures divided into teams, and then it went into four rows of two in this order: DJ and Sky on top, Mal and Duncan second; Amy and Heather third; and Noah and Max on the bottom.
"Aw man, I gotta fight Mal." Duncan groaned while Mal was next to him snickering evilly as the camera zoomed into his brain.
Mike and Chester were seen walking around the Hall Of Memories when they found a memory bubble.
"Huh, what's this memory?" Mike asked before touching it, he and Chester then turned blue again and they began watching the memory.
Three bullies were surrounding a younger version of Mike in the sidewalk, they were aware of his disorder and they thought he was a freak so they decided to mock him for it.
"Look boys, it's the freak with imaginary friends." The first bully mocked.
"Uh actually they aren't imaginary, they're real, they exist in my head." Young Mike explained.
"Sorry freaks shouldn't be allowed to speak." The second bully pushed Mike down which the present Mike cringed at.
"I-I'm not a freak." Young Mike said meekly.
"Uh yes you are." The leader stated "You are nothing but a freak who no one cares about."
Young Mike began to cry before he gasped and his hair dropped over his eye.
"You mess with Mike, you mess with me." Young Mal stated before he grabbed the leader's arm and put him in a headlock, the other two were scared to do anything.
"O-Ow." The bully leader stated.
"Now you either leave Mike alone or you'll suffer a fate worse than this, is that clear?" Young Mal smirked.
The bully leader nodded before Mal let him go and the bullies ran off as Mal smirked at his work.
Mike and Chester then left the memory before Mike began speaking "I guess this is both mine and Mal's memory, I know he threatened the bullies but I thought he was just making empty threats."
"Eh, he probably was until he fell into darkness." Chester told Mike.
The footage skipped ahead to a close-up of a hanging microphone which was promptly grabbed by Chris which caused a small amount of feedback. He was currently standing in the middle of a boxing ring wearing a referee's uniform as the camera panned down, and began to speak.
"In the right corner-ner-ner-ner," Chris announced, adding his own echo, "from the Killers Grips-ips-ips-ips! He's the evil wannabe who wears a lab coat MMMMMMMAX."
Max fries to jump in the ring but he trips on the rubber strand and trips in.
"Ow." Max groaned.
"And in the left corner-ner-ner-ner," Chris announced, "from the Screaming Gaffers-ers-ers-ers! He's a sarcastic know it all, and a bookworm."
"Looks like I'm up." Noah shrugged.
"NOOOOOOOOAH!" Chris called out as Noah stepped into the boxing ring.
"You call that a main event." Mal rolled his eyes.
"It's not, Noah and Max did the worst in the football drills. Loser vs. Loser." Chris smirked as Noah rolled his eyes and Max gritted his teeth "We're going to build to the top two players."
"Are we going to get our boxing gloves?" Noah asked.
A pair of large, white, rectangles were then placed on his hands by Chef.
"Wait a minute, these are marshmallows." Noah raised an eyebrow.
"Props." Chris explained "So you don't hurt those pretty actor faces of yours. Also in true boxing movie tradition, you'll be fighting in…" Chris then spoke slowly "Slooooooow mooootiiiiiiion."
The bell rang and Chris was pulled up by the hanging microphone out of the ring as Noah began fighting in slow motion while Max just dodged, raising an eyebrow before punching Noah in the face with normal speed.
Noah then slowly fumbles backwards as Max rolls his eyes and then jumps up to Noah and punches him down to the ground.
"One, two, three," Chris counted by his fingers.
"Get up Noah." Amy said, worried.
"Fourfivesixseveneightnine and ten." Chris said in a fast pace.
"The winner is…" Chris began before holding up Noah's arm from the ground "Noah and the Screaming Gaffers."
Max's eyes widened before speaking "I believe you said my name wrong because I clearly knocked him out."
"You did." Chris nodded but he smirked "But if you had listened I said to fight in slow motion and since you refused to do so, Noah won by default."
"This is rigged. I have fury!" Max shouted in rage.
Soon we cut to a badminton court with Amy and Heather holding badminton rackets.
"What kind of stupid tennis game is this?" Amy asked, raising an eyebrow.
"This is a badminton court Amy." Chris explained.
"Uh last I checked there were no badminton movies." Amy said, raising an eyebrow.
"There was a movie about badminton," Chris argued, "It was amazing and it starred yours truly."
The cast gave him blank looks as Chris smirked "Why yes, I'd love to recreate my finest scene."
"I just want you to know," Chris began dramatically, swinging the racquet around to emphasize his words, "you guys are the best darn badminton players I've had the pleasure of coaching! You're beacons of freedom!" Chris continued as Chef walked up behind him with a sad look on his face. "Go show the Olympic Committee we deserve a shot! Show them, it's not badminton, it's goodminton! Heck, it's greatminton! Now get out there, and win one for the Flipper!"
Confessional:
"Why couldn't the Olympic Committee just give the Flipper a break? It was his big dream." Chef asked before sniffling and crying.
Confessional Ends
Chris then put on a cap and adjusted it "Battling for supremacy in our second round, Amy and Heather."
"Me against her?" Heather smirked. "Piece of cake!"
Amy glared at Heather before speaking "Oh we'll see about that."
"Watch the birdie!" Chris called before tossing a small plush bird to Amy.
Amy then whacked the fake bird in which it squeaked, Heather then swung at the bird, they continued to swing the bird at each other while doing tricky maneuvers but then Heather swung her racket and the birdie ended up landing far away from Amy.
"We have a winner! Now that's some great-minton!"
Chris announced as Sky, Max, and Duncan began to cheer.
"It's tied between the Screaming Gaffers and the Killer Grips, will they break said tie, I seriously doubt it, but we'll find out when we come back." Chris said cutting to commercials.
(After commercial break)
Soon we see the contestants at the wrestling set sitting on the bleachers.
Chris was then seen in a Greek Toga on a chariot.
"The score is one to one." Chris said in a dramatic voice "And now, second-seat Duncan will attempt to brrrreak the tie, by competing in Grrrreco-Rrrrroman wrrrrestling with," he then spoke in a normal voice "Duncan."
Duncan paled the moment he heard his name.
Confessional:
"So I gotta fight Mal, the guy who barely shows any mercy. I may just be screwed." Duncan sighed.
Confessional Ends
Mal was seen stretching in his swimsuit on the wrestling set.
Duncan was also in his swim trunks whispering to himself "Just give it all you got."
Chris then pulled a rope and the wrestling set was filled with a glass box with kiddie balls.
Duncan then spits out a ball and begins speaking "Wait a sec, I have to wrestle Mal in a kiddie ball pit?"
Mal then resurfaced and spit out a ball.
"Blegh, disgusting, how long have these things been washed?" Mal asked incredulously.
"Never," Chris answered with a smile. "We got 'em from a local carnival. A really cheap skeevy one at that."
Chris picked up a brass horn a blew it a few times to signify the match has begun.
Soon Mal and Duncan began fighting, and while Duncan did tower over Mal, the Malevolent One quickly gained the upper hand and tackled Duncan as they went under the ball pit.
They soon resurfaced with Duncan standing up with Mal latching onto his face.
Duncan then screamed as he saw a shark fin "Shark!"
Mal then used his right hand to pull the fin which revealed to have a diaper attached to if.
"It's just a diaper." Mal smirked before shoving it in Duncan's mouth, "Eat it tough guy."
Duncan shoved Mal off him to get the taste out of his mouth and then Mal grabbed both of Duncan's arms and held them tightly but not as tight as when he fought Dawn.
"Uncle." The punk whimpered.
"And we have a winner!" Chris announced.
Despite their win, DJ, Noah, and Amy cheered weakly due to Mal's behavior bugging them.
We then cut to everyone at the football field set, "So, as we head to the fourth and final leg of the Total Drama sports tourney, the Gaffers are ahead two to one."
"The final face off is a slam dunk competition, with points going to the most creative dunk. Let's play it for the camera! It's… DJ and Sky." Chris announces.
Soon we saw DJ with a basketball, there was a trampoline and a basketball net.
"I call this one the trampoline slam!" DJ smirked
DJ then began dribbling before throwing the basketball on the trampoline making the ball bounce off the trampoline and into the net.
"Impressive but I'm still gonna win." Sky boasted.
Sky was seen dribbling her basketball and began speaking "I call this one the Flipout."
Sky begins running until she does a flip on the trampoline and throws her basketball into the net.
"Point to Sky and the Grips, prepare for the ultimate tiebreaker." Chris smirked.
The eight contestants looked worried at this announcement.
We then cut to the jumbo screen where Chris was being shown " Get ready for the battle of battles, the grudge match the world has been waiting for! A competition so intense, so grueling, so…"
"Get on with it already." Amy rolled her eyes.
Chris blinked on the screen, which soon cut to static.
Chris then drove in a golf cart with pink pom poms on his hand.
"Ooh poms poms, that means we're gonna be cheerleading! Eeeee!" Amy squealed.
"Yes, yes it is Amy." Chris smirked, "Each team's gotta dig deep, and create a cheer for someone they think deserves cheering."
Soon we see the Killer Grips discussing who they should cheer for.
"I think we should cheer for Bowser, the most evil villain in history." Max told his team.
"You mean that fictional turtle. No way." Heather shook her head "I say we cheer for me."
"I'd rather cheer for my school principal, my father, Leshawna." Duncan said angrily.
"Okay that's just low." Sky said, annoyed.
"Times up, Grips you're up first." Chris said holding out poms poms.
Sky got an idea and began cheering.
"DJ DJ, he's my pal, he's really nice and much kinder than Mal."
(Sky does a handstand before standing next to DJ who gave her a thumbs up)
"Noah and Amy might be gloomy but I am so proud to be their buddy."
(Sky put her arms around Noah and Amy)
"Heather, Heather queen of mean, she's got some nice hair for a grooving teen."
(Sky points to Heather's hair and Heather gives a genuine smile)
"Duncan and Max their quite a pair."
(Sky stood in the middle between Duncan and Max)
"Duncan's tough, Max's evil but they both got flair."
(Sky complimented the two boys and they gave her a smirk)
Sky then did a flip and did a split "Woo-hoo!"
"I believe you forgot to mention my positives in your cheer." Mal rolled his eyes.
Meanwhile Heather helped Sky up and smiled "Yeah, that was great spirit, I'd like to see the Gaffers beat that."
"Well since you asked." Mal smirked before he began his cheer.
"Chris Chris Chris. Chris Chris Chris. He is the best."
(Mal began his cheer with a flip)
"Chris Chris Chris, better than the rest."
(Mal puts his arm around a smirking Chris)
"Chris Chris Chris Chris Chris Chris. CHRIS!"
(Mal finished raising his hands in the air)
"Amazing, the rhythm, the artistry, the incredible kissing up! We have the winners! Losers, I'll see you in the theater." Chris told everyone.
Mal began cheering as the Killer Grips seemed aggravated with this.
"Well I might as well pack my bags." Sky sighed to herself.
Soon we see Heather and Duncan in the Craft Services Tent.
"So it's agreed? I'll help you with Mal if Sky goes home." Heather said.
"Yeah thanks by the way I need Mal gone, and besides Sky's too much of a threat anyway." Duncan nodded.
"Glad you see things my way, just tell Sky to vote for Max so she doesn't suspect anything and we should be good." Heather smirked.
Duncan nodded before walking off.
Soon we cut to Sky and Duncan behind the guys' trailer.
"Really? You wanna help me stay in the game?!" Sky asked with a smile.
"Yep, no matter who Heather votes for we should be clear and Max should be going home." Duncan nodded
"Awesome, thanks for helping me Duncan." Sky said happily.
"You're welcome." Duncan nodded.
Sky then walked off with Duncan sighing in guilt "Sorry Sky."
The Gilded Chris theme began playing as a montage of Chris moments were shown.
Soon we cut to the Gilded Chris Ceremony where the remaining Killer Grips were, Heather and Max were on the top row while Sky and Duncan were on the bottom row.
"So, the Grips lose it again!" Chris said "It must be tough especially since you all could turn on each other at any moment."
"Oh shut up already." Heather said angrily.
"Max, maybe if you listened to the instructions, you would've gotten a point." Chris said.
"Hmmph." Max crosses his arms.
"Then there's Duncan," Chris continued, "Who lost to a guy with twig arms in wrestling."
"The dude has some muscle and I'd like to see you go up against Mal." Duncan said.
"And finally Sky, you lost the tiebreaker with your mediocre cheer." Chris finished.
"Or perhaps it was your huge ego that made me lose." Sky ranted.
"Heather, I think you're the only one on the team who's pretty much safe for once." Chris told the Queen Bee.
"Hmph as expected." Heather smirked before she caught her Gilded Chris.
"Flipper, you're safe too." Chris said as Sky caught her Gilded Chris.
"Wait what?" Duncan said in shock.
Sky raised an eyebrow at this before gasping "Wait a minute you didn't…"
Soon we see Duncan and Max glaring at each other.
"And the last one safe is…" Chris began.
…
…
…
"Duncan."
"What? Why me?" Max asked in shock before glaring at Heather "I thought we were voting for Duncan tonight!"
"Yeah I lied." Heather smirked.
"Wait a moment, you told me we were voting for Sky." Duncan said angrily.
"No, I said I would help you with Max IF Sky goes home. I never said I would vote for her." Heather clarified.
"You voted for me, after you promised you would vote for Max!" Sky said, infuriated.
"Yes." Duncan sighed in defeat.
"I can't believe you, you betrayed me again!" Sky shouted "I can't believe I ever trusted you!"
"Well this is awkward." Max's eyes widened.
"Yeah it kinda is, also it's time to go." Chris told Max.
"Fine." Max rolled his eyes before walking to the Lame-o-sine.
Confessional:
"My plan was simple, I got Duncan to vote for Sky, and Max to vote Duncan, leaving me and Sky to vote out Max. While I could've kept Max around, this is much more useful given he would've likely betrayed me, and this also works in my favor because now Duncan is going to be targeted." Heather smirked.
Confessional Ends
"Will Sky and Duncan ever make up? Will Noah continue to float? And will Heather or Mal be our big bad? Find out on Total! Drama! Action!" Chris closed off the episode.
Bonus Clip: Max
"This is blasphemy, I cannot believe I have been eliminated." Max said angrily, "I cannot believe I've been backstabbed."
Max then calmed down "Well I must admit that was very EVIL of Heather, and I do respect it. She is my pick to win. While Mal is also evil, he's too evil for my taste, know what I mean?"
Bonus Clip Ends
Author's Note: Max was ultimately here to cause some drama and prove he's not completely incompetent but in the end I had to get rid of him, he was gonna go further and Duncan was going to leave but here's the thing, Max sticking around wouldn't cause tension, keeping Duncan around after he backstabbed Sky again would, so I kept Duncan and with Heather being an antagonist that only left one Grip to eliminate: Max. So as much as I like him, he had to go.
