"Master?" the catgirl yelled in the other room.

"Yes, Momo?" Justin asked.

"Um... What day is it?"

What was she talking about? Was it somebody's birthday again? Couldn't be. Tiffany's was on the 22nd.

"Erm... December 18th?" he said.

"It is? No, that's not right. If it was December, I'd be seeing Christmas decorations."

Then, it hit him: I forgot to decorate for Christmas!

"Aw, shit! I forgot to decorate." he admitted.

"It's okay, Master. It's not too late." she said.

She wasn't wrong. Christmas wasn't for another week.

"You know what, Momo? I've procrastinated long enough. Let's decorate the house right now."

Her face lit up. This was exciting.

"Yay! Let's decorate." she said in a cheerful tone.

He brought the tree out of his storage closet. He also brought out ornaments, lights, and even a toy train. Yeah, you don't see much of those anymore.

"Lailani?" he called to the Polynesian girl.

"Yeah, Justin?" she answered.

"Wanna help me and Momo decorate?"

She smiled. "Of course I'll help you decorate."

So, they got to work. Momo decorated the tree. Though, she kept getting distracted by the ornaments. They were fun to play with.

Lailani hung the lights everywhere. Justin put the train together. The house went from looking average to festive within an hour.

Everything was completely decorated. But, Momo put one final touch.

"Momo, what are you doing?" he asked as she was on a ladder messing with the ceiling.

"Hanging the mistletoe, Master." she said.

He chuckled. Even if it was kind of pointless, he'd love to see who would walk under it and make out. He was hoping it'd be him and Tiffany or Ashley. Though, he was also hoping Tiffany and her mother wouldn't be under it. It'd be messed up for a mother and daughter to make out.

The house looked fantastic. Christmas was definitely around the corner. Hopefully, it would be just as good as the Thanksgiving dinner they had on Inna De Poona.

After they decorated, him and Lailani winded down and cuddled up on the couch. Of course, Lailani had terrible taste in Christmas movies. She turned on the Mallhark channel, which was mostly known for extremely average Christmas romance movies.

"Dang it, Lailani. Why did you turn it on this channel? All of their movies are the same."

"Not really. They have some very sweet and heartwarming Christmas movies."

"Yeah, and they all have the same plot: A woman visits her home town and falls in love with a random guy that works for a company and they live happily ever after. Heck, there's never any sex in these movies."

Lailani got kind of disgusted at this sentence. "Justin, love isn't all about sex. And these movies honestly give me such a warm, fuzzy feeling. Look at this movie. There's a couple that found eight stray kittens on the street. They're working together trying to find them good homes. Does that not make you feel some kind of joy or comfort?"

He then started to watch. He couldn't help but feel warm inside. Is this actually a decent movie? Or is it just a trick to pull on my heart strings?

"This is a bit cute." he admitted. Yeah, he might've been wrong about Mallhark.

"See? Now, imagine that couple is me and you and those kittens are Momo. Wouldn't you see the joy in that situation?"

"Y-Yeah. But, I wouldn't put Momo up for adoption for anything. Heck, if I did have to get rid of her, Vin would take her and I trust him."

"Master? Would you get rid of me?" she asked, slightly concerned.

"Only if I had to. Like, if I got married and the girl I proposed to didn't want a third person living with us."

Lailani paused. "Wait, have you been considering commitment, Justin?" she asked.

"Honestly, yes I have. I've banged so many women and it's getting old. I'm thinking about quitting the playboy lifestyle and becoming a proper man."

She was shocked hearing this. But at the same time, she was also fascinated.

"So, I don't think I should ask this, but I'm curious. Who were you considering for marriage?"

Boy, what a question. Where do I begin? There are so many great choices, but I can only pick one.

"Honestly... I don't even know. My main pick would be Ashley but she's not into commitment. So, she's off the table. But, my next choice would be Tiffany. She's been a great support and could be a therapist if she wanted to."

"Really? Is there anyone else you'd consider?" Lailani asked, trying to drop a hint.

"Yeah, plenty. If Aiko would forgive me, I'd consider her. Jessie's a bit old for me but if I were older, I'd be the one to help her start a new life. Polly needs a husband but I just don't think I'm good enough."

Lailani frowned. He's mentioned several girls, but none were her.

"Anyone else?" she asked, still trying to drop a hint.

"I don't know. I guess I'd consider Celeste but it would be very weird to marry an alien. I'd definitely consider Audrey but I think she's only good in smaller doses, much like certain cartoon characters. So, I wouldn't marry her. Nikki doesn't need it. Let's see..."

But, before he could get his next thought out, Lailani suddenly got on top of him, pinning him to the couch in a rather seductive manner.

"Lailani... What are you doing?" he said while blushing.

"Would you consider me?" she said.

"I... I..." he said, completely caught off guard.

"You what?" she asked.

"Listen, Lailani. I do love you and care about you. It's just... I can't move to the tropics just for you. I don't want to leave my family and friends behind."

She frowned. She never said he had to move.

"Justin... You wouldn't need to move just for me. I'd move to the city just to spend my life with you."

He didn't know what to say. With the amount of negative emotions he had, that would not be a good idea. She needed someone else.

"Lailani, it's nothing personal. I just don't think you'd be the perfect choice. I don't want you to leave your tropical home and decent job just to be with an average man like me. You deserve a man much better."

She frowned. But, she understood.

"I understand, Justin. But, I just don't where else to look. You think maybe I should try the dating sites... again?"

He lit up in rage.

"Lailani, whatever you do, do NOT get on those sites. I once had a girl from one try to scam me and beg for money. Then, after I cut ties, she tried to message me and even messaged my friends to try and slander me."

"Oh my gosh... Really?"

"Yes. Stay off of dating sites. That b-word is still out there somewhere. If you want someone in life, put yourself out there and show that you want it. Maybe another guest at Love Lei hotel will be the one."

She smiled. If she stopped being so shy and became more outgoing, regardless of what the conversation was, someone was bound to show up.

"Thank you, Justin. You're right. Once I master my confidence, I'll definitely find someone."

"Glad I could help."

She got off of him and they finished the Christmas movie. They went to bed later. Yes, they cuddled. It was a pretty common thing in his life. Christmas was in about a week and so was Tiffany's birthday. He really needed to call her and ask her what she wanted.
