Christmas was now over. It was an interesting time, to say the least. Though, Justin still couldn't help but worry about what happened. Audrey put freaking rooflin in the alcohol and so much shit happened.
He sat in the living room, thinking about the terrible mistake he made. He then began to wonder if anyone else remembers? Oh shit...
"I'm so confused." he said to himself. If Vinnie was sober enough to carry Momo down the street to his house, then no doubt Jessie or Aiko were sober and remember. He began to have some anxiety.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Yeah, some people don't know he has a doorbell. Everyone knocks. He answered it.
"Hi, buddy." the ginger man greeted.
"Oh, hi Vin." he replied. He had Momo with him. She was holding his hand, almost like he was her father.
"Momo! You're safe!" he said to his cat-girl.
"Yeah. I was at Vinnie's house. I don't remember how I got there though."
Of course, she didn't know. He did, however.
"Vin, can you come inside, please?" he asked. He nodded and came in. Something was definitely wrong, and it was nothing to do with depression or suicide.
"What's wrong, Justin? You look like you seen a ghost."
"Listen, Vin. I don't know how sober you were at the party, but we were all drugged. Audrey put fucking rooflin in the alcohol and we were out of our minds."
"Wait, really? I guess that would explain why I don't remember much." he admitted.
"Right, but while we were out of our minds, I ended up making a horrible mistake..."
Vin's eyes lit up. What could have been so wrong?
"What'd you do?" he asked with great concern.
"I-I accidentally married Tiffany." he said in discomfort.
"No, no. Quit playing with me. What did you do?" he said, not believing him.
"I'm not kidding. I got a call from some Brazilian woman and she showed me some pictures of the party, one of them had me and her standing in front of a pastor and the other had me and her signing paperwork."
"Wait, Marlena?" Vin said in shock. Wait, did they know each other?
"Yeah, her name was Marlena. Wait, do you know her?"
"Yeah, I do. She's one of Pablo's ex-girlfriends. After they broke up, me and her became friends. I think it was meant to be, since we're both Brazilian."
This was very weird. So, Marlena knew both Vinnie and Jessie? Again, this was very weird.
"Well, can you tell me why she was at the party last night?" he asked, hoping to get answers.
"Honestly, I was so drunk I don't remember. But, wait..." he said, grabbing his phone out. Yeah, he had one of those old sliding phones. No touch screen at all.
"Ah, now I know." he said, looking at his messages.
"What?"
"I sent her a text message while drunk. There was a lot of spelling errors, but I said: 'Hey, Mrlena. It's Vincenzoo. Were having a sick xmas party and wanted to know if youd cum? bringur camera too. I thnk my frend is getn married.'
He was in shock. Should he be mad? Or should he be thankful?
"So, Marlena took the pictures? I guess that explains why she had prints of them. But, I don't know whether to thank you or hurt you."
"You'd better watch your tone, Sir. I don't take kindly to someone saying they'd hurt me." he said, suddenly getting aggressive.
Justin looked like an idiot. He forgot that Vin was easily-aggravated. The man was bullied throughout his childhood, abused by a foster home, humiliated by his brother, everything. Nothing but shame went in his head.
"Sorry, Vin. I'm just in a tight spot right now. I married Tiffany and didn't even tell her. Me marrying her after only a few days of commitment was not the plan. I've seen many women my age or younger meet a guy and get married after only two months. So, me marrying her after only a few days makes me look like a total hypocrite. And the worst part is: I didn't even tell her."
He frowned. Even if he couldn't relate to having a real romantic partner, he couldn't help but feel bad.
"I'm so sorry, Justin. But, maybe it's not a big deal. Did you even see the paperwork you and her were signing? Do you know if it's legit?"
He paused. Was Vin onto something? What if the marriage was just fake?
"You might be right, Vin. There's no way we could organize a real wedding while drunk and on roofies. It was probably just a hoax."
"Yeah, it probably was. Just don't worry about it, okay? If it was legit, just tell her that you don't remember it. If she doesn't remember, then you don't remember."
He grinned. Even if the ginger catman was kind of aggressive and beast-like, he knew how to lighten a mood.
"Thank you, Vinnie." he said.
"No problem, buddy. Well, I've gotta get home. New Year's is coming and I'm most likely going to spend it alone... Again." he said.
He left. Him spending New Year's alone wouldn't be any fun. Maybe, Justin could arrange something. Or maybe, he should just mind his own business. Either way, New Year's was approaching. Him and Tiffany were going on a date to watch the fireworks. New Year, new JD.
Of course, there was still the issue with Celeste. Last time she visited, there was a close call. Tiffany almost saw her in the bathtub but thankfully, she wasn't spotted. If they were to cross paths, only Venus knows what could happen next.
