A few days had passed. JD had a good time with his two friends from another part, one from the tropical islands South of the Commotion City region, the other from a distant planet known to be freezing cold.
But, like most good things, it had to end. Both Lailani and Celeste were leaving today. Was he sad about it? Yes. Was it the end? No. In fact, he was more likely to see the blue alien girl sooner than the Polynesian girl.
"Justin Dark, I'm afraid the time has come." the well-spoken alien said. Yep, he knew this was coming.
"I know. I'm helping Lailani pack her luggage. She's leaving today too."
She nodded. But, it was time to say goodbye. He walked the blue girl outside, followed by Lailani.
"I will see you next time, JD." she said. Her spaceship was ready for take-off.
"Y-Yeah. Take care, Celeste. Thank you for visiting during the holidays." he replied.
"Have a safe trip back home." Lailani said.
She smiled. Not too many humans knew her or liked her, but she definitely felt a strong connection between Justin, Lailani, and even Nikki.
"I will. You have a safe travel back to Inna De Poona." she said.
Then, just like that, Celeste was gone, heading back to Tendricide. The universe was in her hands, free to explore.
Justin finished helping pack Lailani's luggage. It was now time to head to the airport. He called a cab and they were on their way.
At the airport, they had to say their goodbyes. It was pretty sad seeing her leave, especially considering that she rarely ever left the tropics.
"I'm gonna miss you, Justin." she said, having slight tears in her eyes. Of course, he noticed it and began sniffling.
"I'm gonna miss you too, L-Lailani. I hope you visit again." he said. They hugged really tight. This was true friendship. If him and Tiffany weren't already committed, he'd definitely reconsider being with Lailani. Though, she deserved a much better person than him. It was still questionable what her and Beli's relationship really was, considering the Christmas gift she got from her and the strange thing with them having the same outfits.
She got on the plane and he waited until it took off. It had to end sometime, much like any other vacation. At least she came to visit him for a good while. He went back home. The house felt empty without her or Celeste there. Yeah, Momo was around but it just wasn't the same.
He spent the rest of the afternoon thinking about his choices. Him telling little white lies to his girlfriend was definitely a bad thing, but like Vinnie said: If she didn't know, he didn't know.
Suddenly, he got a text message. Wait, Beli? She never texted him, or even talked to him. I guess somehow the visit from Lailani brought them closer? Whatever.
"Justin, I need to come over. There's something going on and I need to tell you about it."
That was pretty weird. But, he invited her over to see what the issue was. I mean, what could a boring yoga teacher possibly have to talk about?
