Chapter 2
Japan, Akihabara, 12:00PM
Akihabara is a lively place for otakus all around japan. Fantasy, harem, over - powered MC, and etc. Youji Itami, 2nd lieutenant of the Japanese Self Defense Force, is currently on his leave and about to attend the doujin convention. "Man, I can't wait to meet the author of mei - com, and score some newly released volumes." Says the happy lieutenant.
As he was walking, he noticed a huge crowd gathering in the middle of akihabara. 'Is there supposed to be an event here?' Thought itami. The convention will start at 1:00pm, he still has an hour before it starts. He decided to push through the crowds to see what's going on. As he was pushing through he accidently bumped into a woman with short chestnut hair. "Ow, watch it dumbass!" Says the woman. Itami recognised the voice, and the woman recognised the man… who is her superior officer. 'Oh you gotta be kidding me.' Thought itami and the woman in unison. "Huh, kuribayashi. Never thought I would see you here." Says itami. "And I'm somehow not surprised to see you here lieutenant." Says Kuribayashi.
"So ~ what are you doing here?" Asked itami. "None of your business." Replied kuribayashi. "... You sure? Your tone of voice seems different the last time I saw you back in okinawa." Says itami. Kuribayashi gave up and answered her lieutenant.
"It's my sister, she's been missing for 3 days now. The last time she texted me, she was in akihabara. Since you're an expert at this place, you happened to see her?" Says kuribayashi. "She's a reporter right? No I haven't. Though I do hope you find her soon." Says itami. Kuribayashi could only click her tongue, though annoyed at the lazy otaku's presence. "So what's going on here?" Asked itami. "I don't know, everyone is gathering here so I'm just confused as you are." Says kuribayashi. A few seconds later a gate-like structure manifested in the front of the crowds. Some were amazed, others thought it's a cheap holographic effect. "Woah, did you see that?" Says kuribayashi. "You act like you've never seen a hologram before - " itami's words were cut - off by the loud sound coming from the gate. "Did you hear that?" Says itami. "Yeah, it sounds like… marching?" Says kuribayashi.
It didn't take long, men clad in iron marched out of the gate, and stopped. The men in armor looked like roman soldiers, except their armor is equipped with steel plates, and under them are padded armor. The roman - look alike look to their surroundings, amazed, at awe to the towering buildings around them. Inside the roman's formation is a knight, sharing the same reaction as the roman like soldiers. "Hey lieutenant, is this supposed to be an advertisement of one of your kinds fantasy? Asked kuribayashi. "Nope, you know we're off duty and you can just call me itami. Also… what do you mean MY kind?" Says itami. "Yeah ~ I'm not calling you by your name, it sickens me." Says kuribayashi. "Ouch." Says itami. The knight spoke but to an unknown language, then the roman like soldiers formed a shield wall formation. "Well, I'm going now. Good luck finding your sister." Says itami, which kuribayashi replied with a nod and left.
3 hours later It has been 3 hours after the manifestation of the gate, the roman look alike is still in a wall formation. Because of this the people got bored and decided to leave. Itami who just got out of the convention, carrying a plastic bag full of doujinshi and new volumes of mei - com. He noticed the gate is still there, and the roman like soldiers are STILL in a shield wall formation. "Damn how long are they going to stand there doing nothing?". Says itamu out loud. "Probably longer than your dick after fapping to your hentai." Says kuribayashi, surprising itami. "Oh Jesus! How long have you been standing there?" Asked itami.
"Just now. Oh and also because of your excitement to join your little sanctuary, you dropped this." Says Kuribayashi, giving back itami's wallet. "Oh, thanks… you didn't take any did you?" Says itami giving Kuribayashi a suspicious glare. "Hell no, you should ask yourself that before buying your… wait how did you buy something without your wallet?" Asked Kuribayashi. "Oh, I just got prepared just in case someone pickpocketed me." He replied. Just then, the police arrive. "Sir, do you have a permit to start an event here?" Asked the police, which the roman like soldiers didn't respond. The police repeated the word over and over again to no avail. "Okay sir, if you don't have a permit then you need to -" He says while trying to pull the shield which the roman like soldiers retaliated with a spear thrust to the police officer's arm. "Gyah! Fuck!" Cursed the officer. The nearby bystanders who saw this backed away to the supposed actors.
"Shit! Sir are you okay!?" Says the private. "Does it look like I'm fine!? Call some back up now!" The police officer replied. Itami and Kuribayashi could only look with a shocked expression on their faces. "Okay!? These actors are getting carried away with their roles!" Says Kuribayashi in a panic tone. "What the hell are they thinking-" Itami's words are yet again cut - off by a loud roar in the gate. "What the fuck is that?!" Says Kuribayashi. After 5 seconds of silence, a dragon came out of the gate. "That's a fucking dragon!" Yells one of the police officers. The bystanders nearby ran away from the gate and hid in buildings, hoping they'll be safe.
Itami looked in awe at the dragon. At first everyone thought the dragon was about to attack. But instead it circles around the gate, until it lands inside the roman like soldiers formation. Because everyone is focused on the flying beast that should only exist in books, they didn't notice it's rider. The rider that dismounted the dragon has colored blue hair, a blue and white robe, and a staff with a blue sphere on top of it. The girl walked out of the roman like soldiers shield wall formation, and approached the wounded officer. "S - stay back?!" Yelled the officer while pointing a gun at the girl. The girl stopped and dropped her staff slowly, and spoke. "Do not be afraid, I wish you no harm". Says the girl in accurate japanese. The police, and the nearby civilians who are still near the gate were shocked to hear the girl speak japanese. The wounded officer who calm down decided to lower his arm slowly, but hesitant and let the girl approach him. The girl first examine the wound, and her hand started to glow green. The officers who saw this were astonished. It didn't take long for the officer's arm to heal, as if his arm was never injured in the first place. The police and the others nearby who saw this are in disbelief of what they witnessed. Was that magic?
"Holy shit… lieutenant did you see that?!" Says Kuribayashi. Itami who saw everything could only look in disbelief. 'Am I dreaming? Am I dead?" Thought itami. "Hey kuri, do me a favor and pinch me, I don't know if I am dreaming or - OW!" Says itami, after Kuribayashi stomped his foot. "Not the foot! But thank you." Says itami.
The blue haired girl asked the police to lend the megaphone to her, which they did.
"People of the Nation of Japan"
"We, the Empire from the continent of Falmart, have come in peace."
Says the girl. The Empire? It's the only word that the crowd is saying to themselves. But little do they know, they are witnessing the first alien contact in the history of Mankind.
