After some comments on the power levels, all but Goku's needed to be reworked, and I can truly agree. Sorry about that, as I had a hard time thinking about the Avengers Power Level, unlike Goku's as I couldn't find the best way to do the power Levels for them. So, I went back and remembered Master Roshi's power level of 139-180. His max is still debated, but after watching Totally Not Mark's video on Roshi's power level, I'll put his max power at least 3,750. Not exactly, it could be lower. Go check out Totally Not Mark's YouTube Channel. He has an entire series of Power Levels, not just Roshi's.
After that, I would say that yeah I need to reduce their power levels. Hulk and Thor will still be strong but are still lower than Max Power Roshi. Maybe around half of his power level, but with Thor being a bit lower than Hulk.
As for the other Avengers, they're all lower than Roshi at 139, with Steve being a bit closer, like at 90 or 95 with Tony as Iron Man at around 100.
Goku stares at the group of heroes in front of him. He was surprised to meet them after hearing about them from Bulma, the TV, and stories from villagers he would visit. He wanted to meet one day but didn't expect to meet them sooner than expected.
The Avengers stare at him carefully. This is the first time they meet the Earth's Champion as many called him, and their first impression was good. He's just as skilled, strong, and amazing when fighting the base, but now he stands before them, with a goofy smile on his face, and a look of pure childlike innocence on him.
Tony was the first to speak as they approached him. "Pleasure to meet you, Son Goku. My name is Tony Stark. But, I guess you've heard of me."
Goku nods. "Yep. From you being Iron Man, and my friend, Bulma mentioning you from time to time."
Tony looks at him with a bit of surprise. "Bulma Briefs? Daughter of Doctor Briefs from Capsule Corp.?"
"Yeah. We've been great friends ever since she found me in Mount Paozu years back. Our meeting was not that great, but it's funny talking about it." Goku said, as he sheepishly rubbed the back of his head, remembering when he first meet the blue-haired scientist.
"I see," Tony said, intrigued that someone like Goku is friends with one of the smartest women in the world.
Soon, Steve approaches him. "Name's Steve Rogers. It's an honor to meet you, Goku."
"A pleasure meeting you too, Mr. Rogers. Or should I call you Steve? Or Captain America?" Goku said, wondering which is best to refer to Steve, who just chuckles a bit.
"Just call me Steve. No need for honorifics, kid." He said, as Goku smiles and nods at him.
"I'm Bruce Banner. Nice to meet you." Bruce said.
"Oh, you're-" Goku said before Bruce interrupted him with a sigh.
"I know. I'm the Incredible Hulk." He said, but Goku continues.
"Oh I know that, but Bulma has told me a lot about you being a scientist, too." He said, with Bruce looking at him, a bit surprised.
"Really?" He said.
Goku nods. "Yep. Even Doctor Briefs told me how he admired your work on...what was it? Gamma radiation, I think."
Bruce nods with a smile on his face, a bit glad that someone knows about his work instead of just being the Hulk. Especially someone like Goku. Soon, Natasha goes up to him.
"I'm Natasha Romanoff. It's a pleasure meeting a skilled fighter like you, Goku." She said, with Goku noticing the cold tone in her voice.
"Thanks. Glad to meet an awesome fighter like you, Natasha. Maybe we can spar sometime. Right?" He said, quite excited in thinking of fighting her. He's hasn't fought women before, other than Chichi in the tournament last year, but seeing her in action in some of the videos from the battle in New York, he's eager to spar with Black Widow.
Natasha smiles at him, seeing how excited he is I'm having a spar with her. "I'll keep that in mind."
Soon, Clint goes up to him. "Hey. Name's Clint Barton. Good to meet ya, buddy."
"Me too. So, how can you make your arrows shock people?" Goku said, wondering about the function of Hawkeye's arrows.
"They have their own different functions. Ones are normal arrows, others can shock or explode." Clint said. Soon, Goku looks at him in surprise.
"That's so cool!" Goku yelled, like a child after he heard something amazing. The Avengers just look at him in confusion. He's a young adult who's a master in martial arts, but he's now acting like a child.
Thor smiles, immediately liking the young monkey-tailed warrior as he approaches him. "And I am Thor Odinson, God of Thunder. A pleasure meeting you, Son Goku."
Goku looks at him in amazement. "You're a God? That's why you have some much power inside you. That's awesome." This got Thor's attention.
"Might I ask, how do you know about my power?" He said as Goku smiles.
"I can sense someone's energy, which helps me understand how strong they are. So, right now, you're the strongest among the other Avengers." He said, surprising the Avengers.
Steve asks him. "Impressive. We didn't know much about your abilities. Though we would like to know more about you."
Goku looks at him in a bit of confusion. "So, is that why you came here?"
Tony then said. "Well, we were going to take care of this base and find you later, until you showed up and did it for us. Thanks, by the way."
"Oh. Okay. So, why are you looking for me? Did I do something wrong?" Goku said, wondering what was the reason they're looking for him.
Bruce then corrects him. "No, you didn't do anything wrong, Goku. You see, some higher-ups want to ask questions about you, to prove you're not an immediate threat."
Goku thinks about it and still looks confused. "So, they want to ask me questions?" He gets a nod from Banner. "Well, alright. I guess I'll come with you. Though, I might not do my best in answering them, hehehe." He said, hoping the questions are too hard for him.
"Okay, then. This went far easier than I thought." Tony said a bit surprised at how cooperative Goku is. It would be understandable if he would refuse, but he didn't. Guess there's more to Son Goku than meets the eye. "Would you like to come inside the Quinjet?"
Goku shook his head. "No worry. I got my ride, but thanks." He looks up. "Nimbus!" Soon, the yellow cloud arrives and lands next to him. He gets on top of it and sits down.
Hawkeye then asks this question. "How can you manage to ride that cloud without falling through it?"
"Well, you have to be pure-hearted to be able to ride it. Some of my friends tried, but I was the only one to be able to ride Nimbus." Goku said.
"Pure-hearted? Yeah, right. We got Thor here saying we're not worthy of lifting his hammer, and now you say we can't ride that thing?" Clint said, not that convinced about the "pure heart" stuff.
Goku just shrugs as he smiles. "So where are we going?"
The Avengers are seen heading back to the Tower, now with Son Goku following them in his Nimbus Cloud. He's seen flying next to the Quinjet, as he looks straight at the view in front of him. Tony, who's piloting the jet, sees him and thinks about something. Goku then sees him looking at him and waves with a smile.
"To be honest, this is not what I was expecting when meeting him," Clint said.
Steve looks at him. "What do you mean, Barton?"
Clint sighs for a bit. "Like, what we see in those clips and seeing him fighting, he was all serious and badass, but when talking to us, he's pretty much like a kid. Different than how he is in battle."
Bruce chimes in. "I mean, yeah. It's underwhelming, but at least we know he's not a threat or something like that."
Thor adds on. "His child-like manner is surprising for a warrior like him, but I don't see the problem of not liking him."
"Me either, Point Break. Hedgehog there is a strange person, but he seems like the kind of guy anyone can get along with." Tony said with a smile.
"He showed how amazing he is as a fighter. And seeing him giving mercy to those soldiers before and after the fight proves his character." Natasha said, thinking about the entire fight Goku had with that HYDRA base moments ago.
"So, we all come to the agreement that Son Goku is not a threat, right?" Steve said as everyone gave a nod.
Soon, they reached New York as Goku looks over and wows at the sight of the Big Apple. He's not familiar with big cities as he rather lives somewhere peaceful and vibrant of life, but he can't deny the city looks cool.
Soon, the Avengers Tower is seen as the Avengers hovering over the landing pad as the Quinjet descends. Soon, Goku hops off of Nimbus and lands before the Jet lands on the pad.
Goku looks around and marvels at the interior of the Tower. It wasn't as cool as when he went inside Capsule Corp that one time he came to look for Bulma, but it's still cool for him.
Soon, the Avengers came out as they see Goku looking at the inside of the tower with amazement.
Tony smirks as he approaches him. "Looking cool huh?"
"Yep. It's pretty cool.", Goku said as he continues looking around. Soon, Maria Hill approaches them as she sees they already brought Goku with them.
"Looks like you've brought him here very quickly." She said.
Clint then said. "Well, we were heading for our mission, but this guy did it for us."
"I see," Maria said as she turns to Goku, staring him up and down. "Greetings, Son Goku. I am Maria Hill."
Goku smiles as he waves. "Nice to meet you Mari-HEY! How did you know my name? I never meet you before." He looks at her, giving her a suspicious look.
"Well, if you remembered, the three World Martial Arts Tournaments were recorded for television, so basically everyone knows you by know," Maria said, making Goku realize it.
"Oh, you're right. Sorry. I was more focused on fighting my opponents, so I didn't notice." Goku said as he rubs his head sheepishly. Everyone shook their heads. Geez, he's an idiot.
"No problem. Now that you're here, we want to ask some questions about you, if you're willing to do so." She said, smiling at how innocent this young martial artist looked.
Goku nods as they followed Maria to the main room. Soon, everybody sits down as Agent Hill contacts Fury.
"So...should I just wait here or what?" Goku said.
Natasha then spoke. "I have a question for you. How much do you train?"
Goku then smiles. "Well, every day."
Bruce looks at him surprised. "And you don't take breaks?"
"I do, but I mostly train nonstop. I just like to get strong so I can fight strong opponents." Goku said, quite excitedly.
Steve looks at him in confusion. "Strong opponents? But you're the strongest person on Earth."
"I know that, but there will always be someone out there that has to be very strong. Even stronger than me. I got to keep up so I can fight them fairly," Goku said.
The Avengers look at him with confusion, but admiration as well. This guy is strange but has his heart at the right place. No wonder so many admired him.
"I see." A person said as everyone looks to see Nick Fury arriving at the room as he stares carefully at Goku.
Goku looks at him in confusion. This guy looks mysterious to him, and his stare is pretty nerve-racking. Probably because of the eyepatch.
Nick sits down and begins to speak. "It's interesting to hear that you want to train hard to become strong. And you're right, there's bound to be those who will be stronger than we imagined coming here and trying to hurt people."
"Well, yeah. I mean, why waste all the training I have over the years and wait for someone strong to arrive, while there's damage coming to Earth? I can't just sit down and let people get hurt." Goku said, making it sound obvious to everyone.
"Interesting. So you fight for two things: protect the Earth and get the enjoyment of fighting someone strong. Is that right?" Nick said, staring at Goku with his good eye.
Goku nods at him, giving his answer. Soon, Fury spoke again. "How old were you when you started training?" This got everyone interested. They wonder how did Goku become stronger over the years.
Goku thinks as he tries to remember how he was when his grandfather started training him. "I think... well I was little, so I'm guessing..." he counts with his fingers. "Around 4 or 5." This shocked everyone.
"At 5? How the hell can your grandfather train you at that age?!" Clint said, upset that Goku has to begin fighting at the age of a toddler.
"Well, if I remember correctly, he told me I was interested in fighting at my young age, so he felt I should know some basics of Martial Arts. He said he knew I was a fighter after I awoke from a head injury when I was a baby." Goku said, which surprised everyone again.
"How did you get that head injury?" Steve said, wondering how Goku managed to live from such injury.
Goku thinks for a moment and said. "Well, grandpa said he was carrying me around the field with a basket on his back, but I lean up, lost my balance, and fell off a ravine and landed on my head. Luckily I survived and things went on as normal as possible." Everyone was surprised. They can't believe he managed to live through a fall that could've killed any child or adult.
"Interesting," Fury said, seeing how strong Goku is as a baby. "And you are set to protect this world, no matter what anyone will say or do to prevent you from saving lives?"
Goku looks at him confused before giving him a look of determination. "Of course. Even if some told me not to fight someone strong. I won't sit there and do nothing while people suffer."
Fury nods at this as he stood up. "Excuse me. I will speak with the Council about this." He walks out of the room. Everyone went silent, wondering what's going to happen after he talks to the Council. But just before anyone can say something, a loud growling sound was heard. It was so long, it was heard from outside the building.
"The hell was that?!" Tony said, wondering what that sound was. Goku would give them the answer.
"Uhh..sorry. That was my stomach. I'm very hungry" Goku said, embarrassed by the sound of his stomach growl. Everyone looked at him in shock, before face-faulting, except for Thor, who has the most silliest grin ever.
"My word. You're belly sounded like an angry creature than a regular stomach growl. Seems you haven't eaten yet." He said as Goku nods.
Tony gets up as he has he talks to JARVIS. "JARVIS, please guide Goku to the Cafeteria so he can eat something?" He said.
"Right away, sir." The AI said, which made Goku confused.
Goku: Uh, where's this JARVIS? I can't see or sense him around here." He said.
"That is because I don't have a physical body. I am mostly Artificial Intelligence, created by Mr. Stark." JARVIS said, but he made Goku even more confused.
"I see. So, you're like an Android, except don't have a body." Goku said.
JARVIS said. "You're close, sir. Now, if you will allow me to guide you to the Cafeteria." Goku nods as he walks out of the room, leaving the Avengers and Agent Hill there.
Hill watches him leave before speaking. "He sure is something."
"I agree," Bruce said with a sigh.
"So what was your interaction with him when he met you all?" Maria said.
"He's pretty much respectful to us, but also uneducated, naive, and childish," Clint said, summing up how Goku talked to them.
Steve adds in on the conversation. "He may have a child-like personality, he knows when things are serious and is very kind to us. He didn't bother that we wanted to take him here to ask questions."
Thor chimes in. "I see him as a Warrior full of passion and strength. I believe he can be an ally to us."
"Interesting," Maria said. "I wonder what will director Fury will say after speaking with the Council. And from what all of you, we can be sure Son Goku is not a threat."
Soon, Fury comes back inside the room as everyone stares at him. Nick looks around, wondering where did Goku go.
Bruce answers his question. "He went to get something to eat."
"Oh. So that is why I heard a loud growl not too long ago. Even the Council got startled by that, as one nearly had a heart attack." Nick said. "Besides that, I told them about Goku, and they officially deemed him not a threat."
Everyone sighed for a bit of relief as they're glad this young man whose childlike innocence wouldn't be considered a menace. Fury, however, wasn't finished.
"But, they have said they wanted to put him under supervision, to see what he's capable of, as his current strength is unknown. So, I suggested he becomes a new member of the Avengers." Nick said.
This surprised everyone. Son Goku, Earth's Champion...becoming an Avenger?
"It may be a big step forward for us and to him, and I'll admit that. However, we can't him be on surveillance like some criminal and invade his privacy. So, I gave them the idea and they reluctantly accept it." He said.
"And if he refuses to join us?" Natasha said. Everyone is wondering the answer to that question as well.
"If he refuses, he'll be given a device so we can track his every movement, so we could know where he's going," Nick said.
Thor then spoke. "Then we shall tell Goku about this news. I'm eager to see him as one of the Avengers."
"Honestly, me too," Tony said. "Having Hedgehog around could make a significant difference for us against HYDRA. Plus, he's quite fun to be around, even though he's not that smart."
"Well, let's have him come here to tell him," Steve said. "JARVIS, could you ask Goku to come back here?"
"I could, Mr. Rogers. However, it seems Goku is still busy eating." JARVIS said, confusing everyone.
"What do you mean by that?" Tony asked.
"Currently, he's on his 45th serving," JARVIS said.
