Rachel Berry

A whole week had passed since my little boy was admitted to this hospital, every single day he asks me to come home because he wants to hear me sing him to sleep and the next day he wants to wake up excited to go to his school, but I cannot take him out of this hospital and unfortunately I cannot make the pain go away as he desperately asks me to. My boss fired me on Thursday, he didn't want to understand and didn't care about the state of my son's health, he only cared about my income dropping every day.

Soon I will have to turn to my parents to help me with the hospital expenses.

The people in charge of my college were a little more understanding, they gave me a few days off to take care of my son, but I would have to make up for my absence later and my grades would have to be impeccable.

Brittany was the only one who was coming to our apartment, she would take a shower, eat something and feed Tubbington and then come to bring me clean clothes and money to buy a snack from the hospital cafeteria, because I refused to leave the hospital and would never leave my little boy alone in this scary place.

Quinn continues to work, she told her students about Anthony's health condition, they are all devastated, they say a prayer to the Father in Heaven at the end of class for my boy's health and every other day the blonde arrives with a handful of cards, drawings and sweets for my son that the classmates have sent. Unfortunately, they can't reach Tony as he has a very low immunity and anything can pass an illness or infection on to him, however, we always tell him about the gifts and Tony is very happy.

The blonde comes to the hospital every afternoon, she pays a visit to my son and then stays with me at the reception for long hours. Her friends also drop by from time to time.

Santana and Brittany got along very well and they have been talking a lot on the phone.

Today we are meeting at Dr. Fernando's office, because the compatibility results are in and we will be able to know if any of us will be able to donate the cells for my little boy.

I am sitting in one of the chairs in front of the doctor's desk, Quinn is right behind me and massaging my shoulders. Brittany is sitting in the chair next to me and Santana is kneeling next to her to whisper words of cart for my best friend. Finn is looking at some posters that are pinned to the wall, he seemed very interested.

Dr. Fernando entered the room with a friendly smile on his face and five folders in hand with the test results. Before telling him what the results were, he opened one by one the folders, his face dropping as he read the last result. The man sighed heavily and communicated that we are not a match for Antony.

At that moment I began to cry in despair and was promptly welcomed into the arms of Quinn who was also crying. Brittany was being consoled by Santana and Finn was standing in the corner of the room with vacant eyes and looked lost. The doctor told us to look for more people willing to do the test, because my son was in urgent need of a transplant. Ah, he also commented that the parents have more chances of being compatible.

At that moment a light went on in my head. I would need Puck to save him.

It had been exactly a week since I had talked to Rachel in the hallway of the building and she hadn't kept her promise to call me, but I still had hope. The apartment was always empty, the doorman said that the girls haven't been coming back to him and this has worried me in such a way.

Rachel: Meet me at the coffee shop in front of Central Park!

That was the message on my cell phone and I couldn't help smiling like a child on Christmas morning. In less than a few minutes I was packed and ready to meet the love of my life in that coffee shop.

-I hope you are willing to give me another chance, Rachel Berry! -I said to myself.
