Revolta gazed upon her monstrous minions as a ghoulish delight filled her being. She couldn't have asked for better creatures to ensure her ascension. As much as she preferred working by herself, she was well aware of the advantages of having help. The witch remembered how much her previous assistant was useful to her and the heavy lifting. But her new minions would be far superior to the one eyed potato. She swatted away the smoke as she took in the bodies of her newest minions.
"Rise my monsters, rise and show your might!" Revolta called.
Dracula was the first one to rise. He no longer resembled the presentable member of high society that he once was. The magic had changed him and twisted him into a creature that would terrorize the skies. His face had become more beastly with a short snout in the place where his mouth once was. His teeth had all been stretched and sharpened into rows of fangs that would make a shark shiver in fear. His hair had lost all of its brightness and now draped his head like wet hair from the drain. His upper body was naked with beastial muscles and short hair scattered around it like the upper body of an ape. His hands were now claws with razor sharp yellow nails that looked like daggers that Jack the Ripper would've used. Two large bat wings sprung from the back of his body before they wrapped themselves on his body like a sinister leather cloak. He only wore black torn pants that covered his legs and sharp nailed feet.
Frankenstein's Monster was next to rise, groaning like a ghoul freshly risen from the grave. He was as tall as Dracula but was now more machine than monster. His teeth were all made out of shiny metal. His green flesh had now been turned grayish green with patches of grey skin scattered around his body. His face had a lost look to it with glowing eyes, a large scar crossed his face cutting off his nose. His chest was encased in a large mechanical chest, causing the creature to hunch over. The large chest piece the Monster wore was worned like it was made out of scrapped metal, with a glowing electric orb poking out from the middle of his chest. His arms were long and skinny with the right one being a mechanical arm. He wore long black pants with large iron shoes that could crush the skulls of anyone that got in his way.
Revolta smiled a very satisfied smile. She felt like the queen of the world. Two of the most powerful monsters in history were now her servants and thanks to her magic she had increased their worst aspects to her benefits. She looked down to the last member of her cabal, hoping that her mummy princess met her expectations.
"Huh?" Revolta asked, being met with the reality that was before her.
The mummy was about the height of a normal young woman. Her skin had turned flawless dark ebony, giving her the look of a living statue. Her arms, legs, upper chest and face were covered by pure white bandages. At the top of her head there was a pink bow that tied up a pony tail made out of bandages. She wore a medium golden skirt that resembled feathers, covering all the way down to the top of her knees, and a white tunic dress top that showed off a boob window. Her eyes were shut as she groaned, lifting herself from the floor.
"Where am I?" A gentle voice asked.
"...Amunet?" Revolta asked.
"What are you talking about? I'm not Amunet, I'm-" the young mummy began as her eyes finally saw her own hands. "What?"
She looked up and saw that she was within a cave, surrounded by monsters. Her blue eyes widened as her new heart and body beated faster and twitched in fright. She screamed in terror before springing back to her feet and running out of the cave.
"No! Stop her, you fools!" Revolta staggered before falling on one knee. "Damn!"
Revolta cursed her luck and weakness. The spell had taken a lot out of her. She'd brought back two mighty creatures and one welp. As much as she wanted to make the false princess return to her the power that brought her back, she needed more power and get her last lieutenant. She turned to the two monsters that now served her.
"Go, and gather more chaos, feed the orbs and my power. I shall be back with the last being we need to fully bring about my vision." Revolta said, looking at the two monsters before her. "GO! Go, my little monsters!"
Dracula roared in rage. He spread his wings, running to the entrance of the cave. He took to the skies with his mouth open and ready to swallow gallons of blood.
Frankenstein's Monster followed after the monstrous vampire. Despite his large and bulky body, he ran like an electrically charged locomotive. He smacked and pushed whatever tree got in his way, leaving them broken.
Revolta looked down at her new minions as they made their way towards the city of Norrisville. She could already feel the emptiness in her stomach getting filled by the dark chaos that she'd unleashed. Her mouth began to water at the sweet flavor of chaos being thrown around the world around her. She saw chaos and destruction as a poison being injected into the bloodstream, once it was in it was hard to get rid of it.
"Now Red Scarf, I wonder if you'll survive a rematch with your fallen foes." Revolta chuckled. "I am sure that they'll have a bone to pick with you. As for that mummy… good riddance, what's that thing even going to do to face me."
Just then the two monsters returned with lost looks on their faces.
"What are you two doing?! GO!" Revolta groaned. "I'm too tired for this. Tomorrow night you will wreak havoc upon this city!"
Meanwhile back at the Gracey Manor, Sibella was being accompanied by Randy, Howard, Heidi, Gothetta, Elsa and Phanty to the dining room.
"I thank you for escorting me to the dining room, but is it really needed to be under so much surveillance?" Sibella asked, lifting her tied up hands.
"Let's just say that until Lady Kryptina says you are good, then they come off. Plus we don't know how you see humans, so just don't think they are on the menu." Gothetta explained. "Nevertheless you are our guest and we will treat you with the respect you deserve."
"I am surprised to see vampires and other supernatural beings so close to humans and with such good manners." Sibella pointed out. "My father wouldn't approve of it. I wonder what he'd think of this."
Randy and the group shared a worried look. The topic of Sibella's father was a touchy subject for them, having killed him and all. They knew they'd have to tell her eventually, but the last thing they wanted was to give her a reason to hate them. Randy and the others wanted to keep on good terms with Sibella since she seemed far nicer than her father. She was definitely a far cry from the blood sucking master of the night that spawned her.
"Oh you don't have to worry about that. Times have changed a lot." Phanty commented.
"So I see." Sibella pointed out, looking out the window to see cars passing by and then at Randy and Howard.
"Don't worry, the aliens and the mole people do not bother us unless we give them a virgin sacrifice every New Year's Eve." Howard said before chuckling.
Randy couldn't help but chuckle at the joke his friend made.
"He's joking. That doesn't happen." Heidi said.
"I can tell. So, I'm guessing that my father is a touchy subject as you are avoiding him." Sibella pointed out, stopping everyone in their tracks.
"Um, yeah… Well… you see…" Gothetta began, struggling to find the proper words.
"Last time I heard about him, he was dead." Sibella mentioned.
"Oh yeah, he is dead." Howard assured. "He is super dead."
"Never met the guy." Randy added.
"Read about him." Gothetta mentioned.
"Dracula who?" Heidi asked.
"Then how did you know I was his daughter, if I may ask?" Sibella asked.
"And here is the dining room!" Heidi said, pointing to the opposite room and pushing Sibella into the room. "And look at that, the chef has just served the food. Well, we won't get in your way any longer. We should get going."
Heidi grabbed Randy and Howard and dragged them to the entrance of the manor. She knew that it was rude to leave Sibella hanging like that and dumping it all on the vampire students, Elsa, Phanty and Lady Kryptina, but she figured that the last thing they wanted was to talk about Dracula and who killed him.
"We'll see you guys out." Gothetta said, sitting Sibella down before she, Elsa, and Phanty followed behind them.
Sibella only looked at the fleeing group. She wasn't sure if she'd said something she shouldn't have or if it was one of those new future things that were going on about. However, years of being raised as a member of high society under her strict father and siblings had led her to think one thing. Her new hosts were rather rude, but that only made her even more curious. She tried to go after them but her nose picked up the smell of the food before her.
"Maybe I'll ask them tomorrow." Sibella muttered, looking at the juicy looking sausages in front of her.
Back with Randy, Howard, Heidi, Gothetta, Phanty and Elsa, they'd already reached the door without any trouble. They had to know that what they did was strange, some might even call it fishy. They were all clearly thinking about the subject of her father and their history with him. They had to talk about it eventually with Sibella.
"So… I guess I'll be the one to ask this: What do we do now?" Howard asked.
"It's anyone's guess, Howard." Heidi replied.
"Lady Kryptina will speak to Count Von Horrificus and the Council and they'll think of a solution. As long as we take care of Revolta on our end, I think." Gothetta guessed.
"Yes, we'll start looking for her tomorrow. She's determined to get her hands on those orbs." Randy said. "But I think after tangling with us more than three times in a single night is more than enough."
"Oh yeah, your parents are gonna be pissed for staying up so late!" Phanty pointed out.
"You should probably go, we'll keep an eye open on Sibella. I got to say that she is a lot nicer than what I was expecting from the daughter of Dracula. I was expecting her to be a lot more vicious and less lady-like." Elsa pointed out.
"Or have a fascination with capes." Phanty added.
"Call us if she gets rowdy or if something happens. I feel like I've aged ten years in a single night." Randy said.
"Yeah, I need my beauty sleep dude." Howard agreed.
"We'll call you if anything comes up." Gothetta said, kissing Randy on the cheek.
"We'll be here." Randy replied, giving Gothetta her own kiss on the cheek.
"How come you don't give us kisses on the cheek, Randal?" Phanty asked in a mocking serious tone.
"That's a good question." Heidi added.
"I'd like to know that too." Elsa added playfully.
"Oh alright." Randy sighed, going along with the joke.
Randy walked up to Gothetta, giving her another kiss on the cheek before moving on to the other girls. He kissed Heidi on the cheek, causing her to blush and whimper like a little puppy. He kissed Phanty on the cheek, causing her to giggle like a schoolgirl after getting a love letter. He then kissed Elsa, causing her to smile to both corners of her mouth while holding her cheek.
"How come you kissed them all?" Howard asked.
"Well they asked Howard. That's what a gentleman does." Randy replied.
"...I'm too tired for this." Howard said walking out of the mansion.
Randy and the girls shared a snicker, despite the strangeness of their relationship they were working it out.
However, they weren't aware that someone had been seen by Sibella.
"Oh… so that's how much things have changed." Sibella muttered, surprised at what she'd seen and more curious than ever.
Randy, Heidi and Howard walked down the street back to their respective homes. They knew that they would get several earfuls from their parents about being out so late. None of them could blame their folks for it. But their minds always returned to the witch Revolta and whatever evil plan she had in store for them and the rest of the world. The knowledge that such a witch was out there, weak but still out there, made the hairs at the back of their skulls lively as though they were waiting for the right moment to shoot out. Howard moaned and groaned at the thought of being alert and constantly on guard in case something tried to kill him. Heidi's werewolf instincts were constantly aiding her by telling her what was going on around her but it also took a toll on her. Randy, for his part, was used to the feeling thanks to his training but his body and mind were reaching their limits. After an hour of walking, they arrived at the front of their respective homes. They bid each other good night before going to their beds.
As soon as Randy's head hit the pillow, he was taken directly to the land of dreams. Although he was not greeted with simple and fun dreams like he used to. His dreams were not filled with roller coasters or being praised as a great hero, but instead he found himself in the depths of a dark castle. All color was gone from the world, like he was in one of those old monster movies.
He felt something call to him deeper into the depths of the castle. With every step he took the more he wished he was faced with the sight of a large cake or the sight of Ghothetta and the other girls waiting for him. But he felt his back getting itchy, like a cat's as soon as it began to hiss at danger. He reached for his Ninja mask, but he did not find it. He looked all over his person, trying to find where it might be. Just then, he spotted strings of red and black cloth flowing away from him.
"This way…"
Randy's ears perked up. That voice was unlike any he recognized, but he followed the clothes all the same. He ran down the halls, ducking under cobwebs and ignoring any and all things that laid on the floor. He steeled his resolve, running faster after the cloth as the halls began to change into an ancient Japanese temple.
"Come on… Faster…"
Randy narrowed his eyes, feeling as though he was being taunted by the voice behind the clothes of black and red fabric. He was tempted to call out and demand the voice to show itself. But the more he listened to the voice the more he started to put together who or what was calling him.
The voice was firm but with a strange sense of mischief under the seriousness. It was like the voice personification of a trickster or a mocker finally being done with jokes. In a way that struck even more fear and a greater sense of danger, because there was nothing scarier than a joker taking things seriously.
Randy skidded to a halt in front of a large door with the symbol of the Norushi clan. He looked down to see the clothes sticking out from under the gap between the door and the floor.
"Well?... Aren't you coming in?..."
Randy slowly reached for the door, feeling how warm the handle was. He slowly opened the door, peaking into the room. His eyes spotted a large golden dome that he was all too familiar with.
"Took ya long enough, kid."
Randy stood before a football stadium sized Eye of Tengu and inside it laid the massive bird demon.
"Ok, I wasn't expecting this." Randy admitted.
"What were you expecting, kid? All the monsters you've slain waiting for you for one final round? This isn't the climax, kid." Tengu chuckled.
"That and the fact that you're talking, I thought you were some destructive bird force of nature. And yet here you are cracking jokes."
"You can thank the witch for waking me up. Her magic gave me clarity and now here I lay, completely aware of the many adventures you've left me out of."
"Well sorry about that. Next time I'll send you a postcard. But now tell me, what do you want with me?"
"I think that's obvious. I want out of this damn prison and a crack at the witch! She's making her move as we speak and I for one would like to have her head before the next school year starts!"
The bird demon slammed one of its black wings against the yellow dome, causing the room to shake and Randy to fall on his butt. Tengu's red eyes focused on Randy like those of a great beast looking at its prey.
Randy was well aware that the demon was up to no good. He needed to remain strong and show him who was in control. He got back to his feet, giving Tengu a glare of his own.
"I'm sorry to say this, but that ain't happening!"
"We'll see. By the way, that vampire girl is in your room."
"Wait wha-?"
Randy's eyes snapped open as the light of the sun struck him. He blinked open his eyes before looking around his room. He got up from the bed, stretching his arms and legs, cracking his bones and feeling well rested. That strange dream of his was more like a nightmare, but it had at least left him rested and ready for a new day.
"Good morning."
Randy's eyes snapped open when he heard those words. He turned his head to where the sound of the voice had come from. His eyes widened at the sight of Sibella standing right next to his bed with her arms in front of her. What's more his eyes saw the light of the sun hitting half of her well developed body. Questions ran through his mind as he slowly made it out of his bed.
"I hope I didn't disturbed you. Did you have a nice dream?" Sibella asked.
"Um, yeah a bit strange. But do you mind if I ask you a couple things, Sibella-sorry Ms. Tepes?" Randy asked, looking for his mask.
"Please, Sibella is more than enough. I've seen that this time is a lot less formal. And yes, you may ask whatever questions you may have." Sibella replied as though she was a maid of some kind.
"That's great…" Randy replied, spotting the Ninja mask right by the sun. "Tell me, aren't you tired. It is the morning. Shouldn't you be asleep?" Randy asked, slowly moving to snatch his mask.
"Well, I've already slept for many centuries, I'm not in the least bit tired. I spent the whole night reading books and watching that square thing in the living room. Did you know that there are tiny people inside it?" Sibella asked with glee.
"Yeah, those aren't actually tiny people. But now that you mention it." Randy said before throwing himself for his mask. He put it on, spinning back to his feet. He pulled out his Ninja sword, aiming it at Sibella with its flames activated. "How the heck did you get in here? Why are you here? And since when do vampires walk during the day time? You should be a pile of ash right now."
"Oh, yes, that might need some explaining. I'm not a full vampire, my father had me when he slept with a human woman. I'm basically a half-breed for lack of a better term." Sibella replied. "As for why I'm here, I entered through the window as mist because I wish to have answers to some questions of my own."
"Questions? What questions?" Randy asked, feeling like he had a good idea of what she wanted to know.
Sibella took a deep breath before looking at Randy's eyes.
"What did you have to do with my father's second demise?" Sibella asked.
Randy felt the coldness in her question. His grip on his sword loosened, as though guilt was weakening his resolve. He hadn't felt that kind of guilt when facing off against Dracula or any of the evil monsters that had tried to kill him and his friends. But this was different. This time it felt like his heart had been grabbed by a hand and squeezed as the question was asked. His heart leapt into his throat as the answer crawled out of him. Randy was now feeling guilty because he'd taken this seemingly innocent girl's father away. But he steeled his stand. He remembered that he had a choice, just like Dracula, and he chose to fight against him.
"Your father sought to take over the world and feast on the blood of my friends. I had a choice and I chose to stop him." Randy admitted. "I don't regret stopping him, if that's what you're about to ask. So, what happens now?"
"That is a good question." Sibella replied.
