After calming down Gothetta, Heidi, Phanty and Sibella, they all went back to the Gracey Manor where Elsa was waiting for them. She went down and hugged Randy tightly before letting them in. The young Frankenstein's female Monster looked at Tanis who was shocked at the outside world and how much the world had changed. Randy and the others went inside the manor and into the library where they would help Tanis understand her current situation.
"Ok, Tanis, what we are about to tell you might be shocking." Randy said while Tanis was sitting down on one of the couches. "This isn't Egypt. Not even close."
"I know that! There isn't a spec of sand anywhere and the sun isn't as strong. What I wish to know is why are we in this strange palace and not on our way back?" Tanis asked. "Although, I would like this brought back with us. It is very comfortable."
"Yeah, that won't be possible, princess Tanis." Gothetta said.
"I'm sorry, but I didn't catch your names." Tanis retorted.
"Allow me to introduce our friends and allies. This is Gothetta Gothetticus, Heidi Weinerman, Howard's sister, Phanty, Elsa Frankenteen, and Sibella Dra-Gothetticus." Randy introduced. "You already know me and Howard. And the reason for all these changes is that-."
"Welcome to the world of tomorrow!" Howard said, cutting off Randy.
The rest of the people in the library looked at Howard with confused looks.
"What my brother is trying to say is that, you are no longer in your time nor your place of birth. The year is 2015, over two thousand years since your death. And you are now on a completely different continent." Heidi explained. "And as you can see, it isn't the craziest thing to believe."
Tanis was struck with the reality of the words that Heidi and the others had told her. She looked at her hands and then to the people around her. They weren't lying to her.
"So, I am really back in the world but not the one I was raised in." Tanis said.
"Yeah, sorry the future isn't all that's cracked up to be. But I heard the 2020s will be something to write home about." Phanty said, hoping to make Tanis feel better.
Tanis fell on the couch, on top of Elsa's lap.
"Is she okay?" Sibella asked as Elsa checked up on her.
"She's just exhausted. Let her sleep a bit." Elsa said, calming everyone else.
"That's a relief." Gothetta said. "Now, what do we do with Revolta and the monsters she brought back?"
Everyone turned to Sibella, wondering what she was thinking. She held no love for her father, but face off against a dark twisted version of it was something completely different. The group needed to make a plan to stop Revolta without causing much damage or allowing the monsters to escape into the wild.
"I am not sure why you are all looking at me. I do not possess any combat experience." Sibella said.
"We're looking at you because we may have to go out there to… stop whatever your father has become." Randy explained.
"Which by that he means kill before he goes on a bloodthirsty frenzy." Howard clarified, with the same tact as to rip off a band aid.
"Howard!" Gothetta, Heidi, Phanty and Elsa called out.
"It's true." Howard shrugged. "We promise to make it quick and painless."
"Then I leave it in your hands, Master Randy. Whatever creature my father has become by the witch's magic is not my father. I will not stand in your way." Sibella said, with a slight sad tone to her.
"Alright then. Thank you for understanding, Sibella." Randy said. "I promise that we will do all we can to put an end quickly to this whole mess."
Randy's words of comfort struck a chord with Sibella. He spoke with such calmness and understanding that she could've confused him with a lord or a knight. She felt her heart skip as he held out a hand to her. Sibella grabbed hold of Randy's hand, his warmth was something that made her feel safe and made her be embraced by him.
"I… I-I thank you for your actions and your kind words, Master Randy." Sibella said, breaking eye contact to avoid her blush being seen.
Randy saw the blush and couldn't help but feel like he had made a big mess. He scratched the side of his face, figuring out that his words had indeed made Sibella fall for him. He really needed to figure out how he always found himself in these positions.
"Come on, Cunningham. The quicker we put that witch and her freaks back in the ground the quicker we can deal with your mom putting you in an all boys school." Howard said, pulling Randy away from Sibella.
"Hey! Come on man! Don't say that!" Randy snapped. "We'll be in contact with you guys. We'll be right back!"
Gothetta, Heidi, Phanty, Elsa and Sibella watched the two boys walking out of the manor. They all held back a laugh at the sight of the heavy set boy pulling away the man they all loved like a dog dragging away a cat before it got into a fight. It was an odd moment of bonding for the girls, but they enjoyed it nonetheless. They all shared a look, trying to come to grips with the fact that they were now bonding. It was weird, but in their crazy lives, this was now the new normal for them.
"We are going to kill Randy one of these days, aren't we?" Phanty asked.
"Not on purpose of course." Heidi replied.
"I can think of worse ways for someone to go." Elsa pointed out. "Being surrounded by beautiful women isn't so bad."
"Just remember that I am the main girl in this harem of ours." Gothetta pointed out.
"Wouldn't dream of forgetting it, Mistress Gothetta." Sibella said.
However, as the girls talked, they didn't realise that Tanis was hearing everything and was getting very jealous. How dared that handsome Medjay not give her the same kind of love and attention that he gave these other women? She would have some stern words with him once he returned, maybe even force him to pay her back with his body. A smile stretched across her face.
"Looks like the princess is having a very good dream." Elsa pointed out as she looked at the princess on her lap.
"Must be a very good dream." Phanty added as she noticed the lecherous smile on Tanis' face.
Randy and Howard made their way to the cave that Tanis had told them about. They looked around the area, noticing the destruction that the resurrected monsters had caused. The torn trees and the broken branches told them that there were two beasts to take care of.
"Well, this place was on the receiving end of those two monsters." Howard pointed out, armed with his crossbow. "What's the plan Cunningham, charge in head first?"
"No. I did that with Revolta the first time and that didn't end well. We'll draw out Dracula into the daylight and burn him to cinders. Revolta will try to run away and try to create a distraction with Frankenstein's Monster to try to escape." Randy explained.
"Can't we just call him Frankenstein like everyone else?" Howard asked.
"Alright fine Howard, it'll be Frankenstein from now on. Now, where was I? Right. If we don't take care of all three of them, this'll happen again." Randy explained as the cave came into view. "We need to make sure that we get them all at once. We need to take down Revolta first and then deal with her resurrected creatures."
"Well, we better make it quick, I don't want to be stuck here when night falls down." Howard said, loading his crossbow.
Inside the cave, Revolta prepared her spell for the final piece of her plan. She had spent all last night and a good chunk of the day teaching the two minions how to follow her most basic instructions, but she felt ready to unleash them upon the world. This spell would leave her running on fumes, but with the chaos the two monsters would unleash, she'd be recovering her power soon enough. She giggled as her potion was about to hit the completion that she wanted.
"Soon, I shall get my newest lieutenant and I shall get the power to take over the world!" Revolta called out.
The two monsters behind her were standing in attention, like loyal Tibethian Mastiffs waiting to be cut loose. They snarled and growled under their breaths as a way to remain ready for battle against whatever fool crossed their master. Despite being resurrected beasts at the behest of their master, they still had a desire to fight and battle. A spark of what they were burnt inside them, making them eager to go out and fest. Just then their noses picked up a familiar scent. A scent that they both hated.
"What is it you fools?" Revolat asked. "Stop making so much racket. I must focus on this next part to ensure my plan. As soon as the sun is down, I'll send you out."
But her words didn't calm the monsters, they just grew angrier as the scent got closer.
Revolta took a whiff of the air. She inhaled the air, letting it fill her lungs with everything she needed. Her eyes snapped open. Revolta recognized the scent of the warrior that foiled her ambitions twice. She clenched her fists into balls in rage. She wanted to make him pay.
"Alright, if Red Scarf is ready to fight, then I shall give it one." Revolta snarled, turning to Frankenstein's Monster. "You, you won't burn in the daylight, go tear apart Red Scarf. Bring me his head." She hissed.
Frankenstein's Monster grabbed hold of his chains. With a mighty tug, he broke them before charging at the entrance of the cave.
Dracula roared in rage, snarling at Revolta.
"Don't look at me like that. You might be more powerful but the sun will still turn you to ashes." Revolta countered.
Randy and Howard were outside, looking for a way to draw out the monsters.
"Ok, I've got an idea. I'll create chaos inside after popping in with one of my smoke bombs, Revolta will chase me out with her resurrected Monsters where you will shoot them down with your crossbow." Randy explained.
"Sounds flawless. You go in and do all the dangerous stuff and I get to stay out of here where it's safe." Howard replied, aiming his crossbow.
Just then Frankenstein's Monster rushed out of the cave, jumping up into the air. He roared as he lifted his skinny arms above his head, catching the attention of the two high schoolers.
"Change of plan, roll out of the way!" Randy said, pulling out a smoke bomb. "Smoke Bomb!"
Randy and Howard were engulfed in the classic orange cloud before the large frame of Frankenstein's Monster came down on them.
Frankenstein's Monster landed with a heavy boom, which shook the trees around the area and cracked the ground. He stood back up, letting out a thunderous bellow. He grinded his metal teeth as he looked for the one that he hated. He wanted to mash his bones with his new teeth and crush his skull with his feet.
Randy and Howard appeared in a puff of orange smoke in one of the branches behind the large monster.
"Guess there's no need to go in and draw them out." Randy said.
"Yeah, but now what? We're sitting ducks. And I got to say, this guy hit every single ugly branch of the ugly tree when he came back." Howard pointed out.
"Yeah, Tanis definitely struck out in the looks department. Makes me wonder how Dracula turned out." Randy said, pulling out his sword. "But the plan's the same. Make sure not to shoot me. Spare none of them."
Randy jumped towards the large monster, reeling back his sword to strike at it. He aimed his attack at the robotic arm that Frankenstein's Monster had. He swung his sword, slicing two fingers off of Frankesntein's Monster's hand. As the monster roared in pain, he landed in front of the monster, getting its attention.
"Hey Franky, long time no see." Randy said, holding up his sword as Frankenstien held up his hand in rage. "Sorry but I figured you could use with a little less iron."
Frankenstein rushed at Randy once more, like a large heavy bulldozer. He swung his fist at Randy.
Randy sucked under the swing of the beast's large hand, cutting Frankenstein's side with his sword.
Frankenstein then backhanded Randy away with his metal arm. He spun in the air before the Ninja of Norrisville landed back on his feet, looking at the monster with rage. Frankenstein charged at Randy once more, but this time he lunged at him with his jaws open wide. Randy flipped backwards, dodging the devastating bite that would've taken more than a chunk of flesh. But the monster was not done with just one. Frankenstein snapped his head back before chomping down on Randy once more, forcing the Ninja to backflip again and again as he tried to get away from the bitey behemoth.
"I've heard of people eating more natural foods but to take bites out of the forest like that? Isn't it a bit much?" Randy asked, flipping over one of the many knocked out logs just as Frankenstein took a bite out of it. "Guess that answers my question."
Just as Frankenstein was about to strike at Randy once more, a bolt struck one of his eyes.
"Eat that shoob!" Howard called out from his position above the trees.
"Cutting it a bit close, Howard?!" Randy snapped before springing to fight once more.
Randy spun in the air, kicking Frankenstein's face over and over again. Every kick Randy landed on the resurrected monster was like hitting a wall of bricks. He held back the urge to scream in pain as he saw the behemoth slowly walk backwards. However, he was grabbed by the leg and flung away with one mighty swing. Randy crashed against the branches, knocking out the air inside him. He got back to his feet, feeling bruised on his back.
"Guess you're sturdier than I remember." Randy grunted. "Good thing I've gotten some practice." He added, activating the spikes in his knuckles.
Frankenstein charged at Randy once more, stomping the ground with his large metal shoes.
Randy ducked under one of the heavy somps, dodging the large shoes that would've crushed stones with ease. He struck blow after blow at the monster's back and wounded side, using his spiked knuckles to create more damage. He assumed a boxing stance, moving quickly and ducking under the swings of Frankenstein's Monster. He stayed close to avoid being smacked by the wild swinging of the monster's arms. As the Ninja of Norrisville did this, Howard fired another bolt at the monster, hitting Frankenstein's Monster in one of his uncovered arms.
Frankenstein roared in pain as electricity crackled around his body. He grabbed hold of one of the fallen trees, swinging it at where Howard was.
"Howard!" Randy called out.
Randy jumped on top of Frankenstein. He threw his scarf at the tree, wrapping it around it. He used Frankenstein's massive body and an anchor to pull the tree back at the monster. He struck Frankenstein with the tree before jumping off of him. He pulled out his sword once more, cutting the metallic chest it had, creating an opening in the armor.
Frankenstein roared in pain as electricity started coming out of his wound.
Randy ducked and dodged the stray lightning. He was hoping to make a dent on his armor, but not in this dangerous manner. The lightning got close to hitting him, forcing him to create a wall of earth to defend himself.
"Earth Attack!" Randy slammed his hand on the ground, raising a wall to take the attacks.
As the lightning fired out of the chest of Frankenstein's Monster, the remaining creatures inside the cave could tell that things were not going their way.
"It would seem like Red Scarf is more capable than I thought. Since the sun is still up you won't be able to help him." Revolta said.
She looked down at the potion she was brewing. It was ready for her to use.
"It may be early, but it'll have to do. You'll be coming with me." Revolta said, freeing Dracula from his chains.
Dracula snarled at Revolta, almost indignant that he was being pulled around like a dog on a leash.
"It isn't my fault that Red Scarf found us earlier. So suck it up and prepare to come with me. Besides, where we are going is nighttime, so you'll be more than happy to start a little feeding frenzy while we're there." Revolta explained, getting Dracula's attention.
Revolta smiled as she was finally able to make the monstrous vampire see things her way. She turned to her cauldron as the green vapor emanated from the strange mixture within it. She dipped her hand inside it before pulling it up with a glowing neon green potion covering her hand. She spun her hand in a circular motion, leaving a trail of her potion, creating a circle in the air.
"Open the gates between realms. Take these travelers across the horizon to the world of ivory cliffs, fog and dark streets. Take me to the daughter of the wolf." Revolta chanted as the circle she created was being filled with blue spiraling energy.
Dracula growled as a reminder that was not some wallflower.
"Plus one." Revolta added.
The portal that Revolta had created stabilized before them, bringing a smile to her face. She stepped inside followed by Dracula before it closed down behind them.
As soon as they stepped into the portal the portal disappeared without a single trace.
Back outside, Randy and Howard were not having much luck with the rampaging enemy.
"Well this certainly went South a lot faster than I thought." Randy muttered to himself.
Howard fell down right next to him, grunting slightly.
"Any ideas, Cunningham?" Howard asked.
"We've got to take him out before he causes any more destruction, or kills us with the electricity." Randy said. "If we could ground him and keep him from swinging around aimlessly, we might have a chance to put an end to him."
"Too bad I don't see any large metal rods to do that here!" Howard replied.
Randy felt around inside his suit until he came upon a weapon he rarely used, a bo staff. It was six feet in length and it was black with red colored tips on both ends.
"You think this'll do the trick?" Randy asked.
"As long as it has a metallic tip to draw the lightning." Howard replied.
Randy touched a trigger on the bo staff, causing a curved blade to spring out.
"I think this will do." Randy said. "Cover me." He added before jumping out from behind the wall of earth.
"How?!" Howard asked.
Randy jumped out, narrowly dodging one of the lightning bolts. He ran towards the rampaging monster as it finally regained its footing. He held onto the bo staff with both hands, aiming the bladed end at the monster's chest. He jumped in, thrusting his makeshift spear only for Frankenstein to grab hold of it.
Frankenstein sent electricity through the bo staff, trying to shock Randy, but it did not work.
"Nice try buddy." Randy mocked.
Frankenstein growled in rage, tightening its grip on the staff. He lifted Randy through the staff before slamming him into the ground over and over again like a rag doll. He roared and stomped the ground, trying to put an end to the warrior that had stopped him before.
Randy for his part was not having the most fun time. If he was struck by the monster's metal boots or his robotic hand he would be in some real trouble. He needed to make Frankenstein release his weapon.
"Hey, ugly!" Howard called out, firing another bolt at Frankenstein's other eye, blinding him.
Frankenstein let out a pain filled shriek. It released its hold on Randy's weapon, dropping him to the ground.
Randy struggled to his feet, feeling his whole body burning with pain. He took in a deep breath, working through the pain. He ducked under one of Frankenstein's wild swings from his mechanical hand. He spun the staff in a circle before slicing the mechanical hand from the monster. But before Randy could finish the job, Frankenstein swatted away the bo staff, grabbing Randy by the throat.
"Cunningham!" Howard called out, worrying his friend would be finished.
Randy, however, wasn't planning on becoming a monster snack. He pulled out a pair of explosive Ninja Balls from his suit. He used his remaining free hand to grab hold of the monster's arm, hoisting himself up just as the monster attempted to take a bite out of him. Randy plunged his hand into the monster's mouth, punching the back of his throat with his fist and dropping the explosive Ninja Balls he was holding onto.
Frankenstein dropped Randy. The monster was about to attack once more but the explosive Ninja Balls went off. The top of Frankenstein's head lit up like a covered volcano as a blast of fire erupted from its mouth and eyes.
"Ninja Explosive Balls. Never thought I'd use them like this." Randy said, holding his right side.
Frankenstein stumbled backwards as black smoke came out of its head. It then fell backwards onto the ground. Its body began to turn into green smoke before disappearing.
"That's one way of taking care of a real monster." Randy grunted, getting on one knee to rest.
"That was crazy Cunningham." Howard said, helping his friend back on his feet. "Any other bright ideas to take on the other monsters?"
"Not at the moment. But you make a good point. Where is Revolta and Dracula?" Randy pointed out.
The two high school students looked around for any signs of the witch and the resurrected Dracula. But they were alone amidst the chaos.
"That is weird. Shouldn't they be here, making sure that we were killed or something?" Howard asked.
"Let's check the cave." Randy said.
Randy and Howard made their way to the cave. As soon as they reached the mouth of the cave, they saw that it was empty. All they saw were scattered ingredients, tools, and a large cauldron with leftover potion inside it.
"Well, it looks like they bailed on this place." Howard said.
"But where did they go? The only way out is where we came from." Randy said, gesturing to the mouth of the cave. "If they flew the coop we would've seen Revolta and Dracula leave. Heck, Dracula would've been turned to ash if they did that."
"Then what do we do?" Howard asked.
"I don't know. I'm open to ideas." Randy replied.
Howard looked around before his eyes landed on the cauldron. He smacked the cauldron as hard as he could, spilling its contents on the floor of the cave.
"Oops." Howard said, fein regret.
"Smooth move, Howard." Randy chuckled.
"Hey you took out the big ugly shoob. The least I can do is pee on the rug of the witch's house." Howard replied as they walked out of the cave. "Now, let's get you back to the manor before you get used as a punching bag again." He added as they walked out of the cave.
"Gothetta and the others will not be happy about this." Randy pointed out.
"That's what you get for being greedy with women." Howard chuckled.
Randy and Howard walked all the way back to the Gracey Manor, just as the sun was setting. Their arrival did in fact have the expected effect.
"We are not happy about this!" Gothetta, Heidi, Phanty, and Elsa all said in unison as Randy was placed on the couch.
Randy was covered in bandages that would've almost made him a mummy in his own right. As soon as the girls saw him in such a bad state, they'd taken him to get proper bandages and healing. They had used some of the plants that Gothetta had cared for to patch him up. He was shirtless and covered in bandages on his arms, chest, torso, and head, which did give Sibella and Tanis a good look at what Randy had under his clothes.
The eyes of Sibella and Tanis were glued to the visage of Randy. They could see the manifesto of battle scars and muscles forged by battles against the supernatural and the paranormal. It made Tanis wish that it was her own bandages that covered his body and it made Sibella wish that she was the one that tended to him.
"How could you have been so reckless? Next time we're all going with you." Gothetta said.
"I'm sorry, we thought we had a good plan this time." Randy apologized.
"Well maybe you'll think twice before going with the first plan you come up with." Heidi added in her own worried fashion.
"The good news is that you aren't dead." Phanty said, looking on the bright side. "And you defeated the resurrected Frankenstein's Monster."
"Yeah, but you won't be doing anything crazy until you're completely healed." Elsa said. "Which means that one of us will keep an eye on you until then."
"Thanks girls, but I can take care of-Nevermind." Randy said, getting the 'we are doing that regardless of what you say' look.
At that point, Sibella stepped up to offer her services.
"Master Randy, would you like me to put up a bath for you? After such a hard won battle you will need something to help you replenish your spirits." Sibella said. "I'll make sure that it is warm and ready for you."
Randy blushed slightly at what Sibella said. He hadn't been offered something like that. And although he liked the idea of a warm bath, Sibella's sweet voice was somehow making it sound like a very tempting offer. He immediately pictured Sibella cleaning his wounds with a wet cloth. He quickly shook his head, shaking off the picture.
"T-Thanks Sibella, but I'm capable of taking a shower later by myself." Randy said, holding up his arms in defense.
"Don't worry, Sibella. I'll be sure to see to it that Randy is in perfect conditions for his shower." Gothetta said, getting between Randy and Sibella.
Randy winced at his sudden actions. Despite his bandages, he was still in quite some pain. He needed to use the Art of Healing as soon as he had the chance. And then he'd have to find where Revolta and Dracula scurried off to.
"I don't know about you guys, but I'm starving. Got anything to eat?" Howard asked.
"I agree! Tell your cook to prepare a meal worthy of a princess. Medjay Randy will be the guest of honor. He'll sit right next to me at the table of course, it is the least I can do for such a wounded protector." Tanis said, sitting next to Randy before grabbing his arm and pressing it against her breasts. "I'll gladly escort you there."
"You don't even know where the dining room is." Phanty pointed out.
"I think he can manage to walk there on his own." Heidi said, tearing Tanis off of Randy.
"And if not, we can carry him." Elsa added, picking up Randy in the manner of a bride.
"Thanks, Elsa, but I can still walk." Randy said, feeling a bit embarrassed as Elsa's chest pressed against him.
Just then the door to the library was opened.
They all turned to see Lady Kryptina with red bloodshot eyes, and a face that looked like she had a horrible night sleep.
"Oh, um, Lady Kryptina. I am so sorry if we disturbed you. However, we have some good news to share with you." Gothetta said, trying to spare everyone a scolding.
"I have a few news to share with you all as well, Ms. Gothetticus. But I'm afraid they are not the good kind." Lady Kryptina said. "I do hope that your explanation has something to do with why Sibella is up so early, why there's a mummy girl, and why Mr. Cunningham is halfway to becoming one."
"They might have something to do with it." Randy muttered from where he was.
"Follow me." Lady Kryptina sighed.
"We'll have whatever it is cooking to go then." Howard chimed in.
Far from Norrisville in a dark and fog covered city in the heart of the Old World, a green portal opened.
Revolta and Dracula stepped out of the portal, taking in the cold air around them. It was a dreadful and reinvigorating feeling for the two monsters.
"Ah, now this city is just what I've been missing. The old history of horrors is just what the doctor ordered." Revolta said.
Dracula growled. His hunger had reached a critical point and needed to feed.
"Well, go on then. Feast on the inhabitants of this city and cause fear to recharge my powers." Revolta ordered.
Dracula roared in delight, spreading his large bat wings. He took to the skies with his fangs ready to sink them into a succulent neck.
"Now, to find the last piece of the puzzle. The child of the Wolf Man." Revolta said, already feeling stronger. She spotted a sign that said where she was. "Let's see what this Whitechapple has in store for me." She laughed.
