Mila had just returned from a mission and had to report back to Dreykov. She was walking down the hall toward his office with the vial she collected secured in her pocket on her belt. Suddenly someone ran from behind her and knocked her down.

Instantly Mila was on her feet and ready to fight. She turned around to find a widow with blonde hair reaching for a vial with red dust inside which she knew to be poisonous. Dreykov sent Mila on missions to get the vials and return them to him so no other widows were harmed.

Mila knocked the vial out of the widow's hand with a swift kick and jumped and caught it herself. The blonde widow fought back and obtained the small container once again. Then she pinned the smaller girl to the ground and held her down as she broke open the vial next to the child's head, exposing Mila to the red dust.

Mila stopped resisting and fell back. When she opened her eyes again she saw her mentor who she thought was dead.

"Yelena," she whispered.

The older of the two got up and off of the girl and then helped her to her feet. Mila instantly threw her arms around the woman and said,

"He said you were dead."

Yelena wrapped her arms around her niece and said,

"I'm right here, little one."

Then she pulled back and said,

"But we don't have much time."

Mila gave her a confused look and then Yelena took her hand and led her into a side room. They were alone and there were no cameras in that room so they were safe from Dreykov's eyes.

"How is this possible? Dreykov showed me your body," Mila told her with tears in her eyes.

"He lied. Everything he told you was a lie. Including the story about your mom," Yelena explained as she wiped away he girl's tears.

"My mom?" Mila questioned.

"Yes, and she is with Dreykov right now and needs our help," Yelena told her.

"I'm going to kill him," Mila said and clenched her fists. Yelena remembered the girl had a hot temper and could easily turn into a killing machine given the right circumstances. However, for now she needed the child to stay calm and stick to their plan.

"We will, but we need a plan. We can't just go in a kill Dreykov. That's not how it works," Yelena explained.

"So what do we do?" Mila asked.

"You're going to go back to Dreykov's office-"

"No, I don't want to go back there," Mila interrupted and shook her head. Yelena could see the fear and pain in the girl's eyes when she said that.

"He's going to put me back to sleep," Mila said.

"No he won't. You will give him the mission report and then wait. I promise you we will get out of here today. The most important thing is that you need to convince him you are still under his mind control," Yelena told her seriously.

Mila nodded and then said,

"Okay, and where will you be?"

"I have a couple things left to do but then I will come find you."

Yelena kissed her head and said,

"I'll see you soon, little one."

Mila looked down and then looked up and asked,

"Is she nice... my mom?"

Yelena smiled and said,

"Yes, well most of the time."

Mila smiled and then the two left and set off on their designated assignments.

Mila passed taskmaster as she walked up to Dreykov's door and then she took a deep breath before walking in. As she opened the door she could hear a woman talking to Dreykov.

Mila walked in to see Dreykov punch the woman to the ground. Mila's eyes widened but she knew not to interfere yet. Natasha caught a glimpse of her daughter and the two locked eyes.

"Mila," Dreykov said and turned to the girl. Mila turned her attention to Dreykov.

"Sir," the child said and walked over to him, choosing to ignore Natasha.

"Mission report," Dreykov stated.

Mila took the vial of red dust out of her pocket and handed it to Dreykov and said,

"Completed," in a monotoned voice.

Natasha just stared at her.

"And the widow?" Dreykov asked.

"Terminated," Mila answered with a straight face.

"That's my girl," Dreykov said with a smile.

"You may rest now," Dreykov added.

Mila nodded and walked over to what looked like a cryo-freeze chamber. She pushed a few buttons and then climbed inside. The top lowered down and the machine started to turn on. The chamber then moved into an upright position so Mila could still see what was going on out there through a little box. She then closed her eyes and felt the cold surround her.

"Not the reunion you were hoping for, huh?" Dreykov asked looking at Natasha.

"What did you do to her?" Nat demanded to know as she got up.

"Nothing I didn't do to you," Dreykov replied with a smile.

Mila could still hear what was going on outside her sleeping cell and heard Dreykov tell Natasha all about how he controls widows around the world. She couldn't believe he was telling her everything. That meant he was planning on killing her because she knew he wouldn't let Natasha leave there alive knowing what she now knows.

"You control everything from here?" Natasha asked and turned around to look at Dreykov who was now sitting at his desk.

"All in that little console," she said and looked at it. Then her lips slowly curled up into a smile.

"Why are you smiling?" Dreykov wanted to know.

Natasha walked closer to his desk and said,

"Don't take this personal but thank you for your cooperation."

She looked at Dreykov and almost in a taunting way she said,

"You weren't quite strong enough so I'll have to finish it myself."

"What are you going to do?" Dreykov asked and Mila was wondering the same thing.

Then suddenly, Natasha violently slammed her face on the desk. Mila couldn't help but sneak a peak to see what her mother had done.

"Sever the nerve," Natasha told Dreykov as she looked up with blood dripping from her nose.

Dreykov went to call the widows then Natasha took him out with one punch.

"You're not so talkative now, are you?" Natasha said as she went around his desk to kick him.

"You took my childhood, you took my choices, and you took my daughter," Natasha told him and Mila could hear the rage in her voice, very similar to how she sounds when she's angry. She couldn't take her eyes off of her mom as she watched her beat up Dreykov.

"You tried to break me. But you're never going to do that to anybody ever again," Nat said and looked back at Dreykov as she went to hit him, but then she went down.

Mila looked over and saw the widows in training at the doorway. Dreykov put his glasses on and said,

"Nobody leaves this room until she's dead. Make her suffer."

Then he walked out past the widows.

Natasha took what the widows hit her with out of her back and told them,

"I don't want to hurt you, and you don't want to hurt me."

Then the fighting started.

Natasha fought off each widow one by one and it didn't look like she needed any help. However one widow threw her into Dreykov's desk which seemed to do some damage and slowed Natasha down. Mila watched the widows slowly circle around Nat and knew it was time to make herself known. Natasha felt a widow grab her from behind and put her in a headlock. Then all the others took turns hitting and kicking her.

Natasha saw one of them going in to punch her face and she closed her eyes and waited, but the hit never came. She opened her eyes to see Mila standing between her and the widow. Mila grabbed the widow's arm and twisted it as she threw the girl over her shoulder. Natasha used that moment of surprise to get out of her headlock and kick that widow back. Then the two began fighting all the incoming widows as they stood back to back.

"I'm Natasha," the redhead said to the girl.

"Mila," the child responded. Then suddenly one of the widows shocked Mila with something that sent her to the ground and as Natasha turned around to see what happened they hit her with it too. As the widows closed in on the two, Mila spotted a flying drone with many of the vials containing red dust above them. She closed her eyes and heard the explosion and when she opened her eyes she saw all the widows stop and glance towards the doorway.

"Yelena!" Mila shouted and got up to hug her.

"I told you I'd find you, little one," Yelena said and hugged the girl.

Then she went to help Natasha up as the rest of the widows awoke from their mind controlled state.

"What do we do now?" one of the widows asked.

"Get as far away from here as possible. You get to make your own choices now," Natasha told them. Then suddenly there was a big explosion and they felt the ground beneath them rumble.

"Take Mila and get out of here. I'm right behind you," Nat said as she rushed over to Dreykov's desk. She snapped her nose back into place and got all the information on the widows worldwide that she needed.

Mila followed Yelena out onto the deck where Dreykov's plane was taking off. Yelena spotted only one parachute backpack and threw it to Mila.

"What about you?" Mila asked as she put the backpack on.

"I'll be fine," Yelena said and helped the girl with the backpack.

"Your mom will take care of you now," Yelena said and kissed the child's head.

"No!" Mila screamed as Yelena pushed the child off the deck and into the safety of the free air. Natasha arrived just in time to see what Yelena did and watched as Yelena ran after Dreykov's plane.

"This was fun!" Yelena shouted to Natasha as she raised her weapons above Dreykov's plane, ready to destroy it, knowing she'd go down with the plane.

"No! Don't do it!" Natasha yelled as she watched her sister slam the weapons down, blowing up the plane.

Natasha grabbed a parachute bag and dove after Yelena. She found her in the air and put the backpack on her and opened the chute. Nat saw the taskmaster coming for her and let go of Yelena.

Natasha tumbled to the ground with the taskmaster and fought her until she got her helmet off. She exposed the girl to the red dust, freeing her from the mind control she was under. Soon after she went to find her sister.
