And we are ready to roll again! Now we can get back to the juicy stuff. I know you are all waiting for fight scenes. Well this is the chapter that's gonna start it all. I'm not gonna lie, I have been dying to write a fight scene and I was reading a lot of books with fight scenes and I think i know how to write speedster fights- as in one speedster fighting.

So before we get into it, I have to say a few things to talk about. First, I have to say I'm kinda proud on how I did their date. Unfortunately, I can't take credit. I actually got inspiration from great books about love and cute moments on the application; Wattpad.

Second, I'm gonna try to make this realistic as I possibly can. This might be bad but bear with me here. I'm trying my absolute best.

Time to get it on. But first...

Chloe: God, I missed my fans. Hey Chloe, I'm glad you liked the interaction between Nat and Clint I thought it was kinda funny on how I made them since I see Clint as an overprotective dad and Natasha a supporting mother/sister. And I'm going to be honest, I forgot about those episodes about the What ifs...

r3ggc4lderon: Ahh yes, Wanda is definitely gonna be a big part with the Savitar era but not yet. We are little far from that part. Also I got to ask; how come you don't have a picture on your account pfp?

Chapter 8- A New Conflict

Previously on the Flash (Chris Evans voice)

After a few seconds- that felt like hours, Wanda pulls away slowly. She looks up at Barry as their eyes met, she looked at his lips and then at his eyes. Barry smiled. Wanda leaned in closer, their breaths were now intermingling with each other. Barry leans in too, smiling more as he gets closer and closer.

Black screen!

All of a sudden, before Wanda can press her soft lips on Barry, on Barry's point of view, some faint images speed into his head which cause him to stop.

Almost immediately, his eyes shot wide open and Wanda opens hers but looks at him with a concerned expression.

"Barry?" She asks, sounding concern.

He was a bout to speak but a buzzing sound starts to ring in his pocket.

Barry shifts away awkwardly and says, "Uhh...I have to...I'm going to get this," Barry backs away from Wanda a little bit, reaches into his pocket and pulls out his phone. "Natasha?" He mutters to himself when he sees the caller ID.

He clicks the button to accept the call, raises his phone to his ear where he hears the red head assassin.

"Nat?" Barry asks

"Barry put me on loud speaker," Natasha demanded. Barry walks a bit towards Wanda and clicks the button so she can hear what Natasha has to say.

"Nat is everything alright?" Wanda questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"Hey Guys, sorry to ruin your night but we need you both at the compound. Like now!" Natasha says firmly and Barry nods to himself before he grabs Wanda and races down the Brooklyn Bridge and back on the streets of New York.

Car windows would burst like a rubber band snapping back in its position as he ran by, carrying Wanda bridal style, and the ground beneath him would upthrust as he sped off towards the Avengers compound.

FLASH!

Barry was now in a red shirt with some jeans and his iconic black converse. Wanda as well was out of her beautiful white dress and into a small black dress which Barry found adorable. He couldn't help but to stare.

They were in the conference room with the rest of the Avengers-besides Tony and Clint who were probably with their family, enjoying a dinner that Barry and Wanda weren't able to finish due to this urgent call.

In a way it made Barry a bit frustrated, since he was enjoying a nice time with her and was about to end it off with a gentle and sweet moment.But being heroes, who save the day and world kinda ruins it all.

What really ruined it all was Barry's surprising move he did when he was inches away from Wanda's face. These images Barry's been getting recently, is really hurting him the most with all of the progress he's been making on this new Earth, hopefully he can figure this problem out soon.

Hopefully.

Back in reality, Sam was in a chair across the round table from Barry who was three seats away from Rhodey, who's sitting across from Wanda, who is next to Vision.

"So...does anyone want to tell me who called this meeting and why?" Sam asks. He glances over at Barry who shrugged then at Rhodey who shakes his head.

"No one told me anything. Just that it was urgent and that we were needed here," Rhodey claims.

Wanda looks at Rhodey with some sort of focused face. "Maybe it could be a new mission but that's all I could think of. Natasha was very cryptic when she called Barry and I," she says simply before sharing a quick glance at Barry.

Concealed from Barry, Wanda was still holding a bit of a grudge with Barry for pulling back from the almost kiss.

Unfortunately for Barry, Sam noticed Wanda's angry glance and says directly to him. "You know Clint is gonna kill you, right?"

"Wha-" Barry wimped.

"Alright no need to get your panties in a twist, we're here," Natasha jokes as she and Steve walks in the room with a tablet in Steve's hand.

"I don't get that joke," Steve adds and Natasha looks at him and rolls her eyes before standing on one side of the huge monitor that's in front of the Avengers. Steve stands on the other side looking like he's about to give a speech.

"Avengers, we have a mission," Steve starts with a serious face.

"Told ya," Wanda calls out which causes Sam, Barry and Rhodey to laugh silently.

"Guys I'm serious. This is a big one," Steve says warningly and the smiles on the Avengers drop and turn with seriousness expression all over their faces.

Steve nods to himself before grabbing a remote that was on the table, clicks a button, and the screen turns on, showing a huge tower. The tower's main structural support is one massive winding layer of murky green metal that surrounds the sides and back of the building and spirals up to a point protruding from the top left corner, on the right, it sports an extremely large logo that's Labeled: Oscorp. The front section of the building that is not covered with metal is made up of countless windows behind a hexagon linked pattern like that of a honeycomb.

"This is Oscorp. It is a multibillion-multinational corporation that studies experimental science, military research and cross-species genetics run by a...Norman Osborn," the screen switches to a man in a black suit with misty gray eyes, a sharp cheek bone and a bit of black in his hair with folded arms and a smirk on his face. "He's a scientist who study in chemistry and electrical engineering at the Empire State Building up in Greenwich."

The Avengers straightened up and stare intensely at the screen, the man seemed so in a way- menacing. The sharp cheekbones and the smirk was enough to know that this man means business.

"Stark Industries has been at war with Oscorp in the very beginning. Even before Tony took over as CEO or Pepper Potts" Steve says before switching to another image-but this time it's a photo of the scientist Norman Osborn working on a device or chemical substance-if we're being technical.

"Oscorp has been making this serum called FS-53 or...Demon Blood," Steve says.

"Yeah, that doesn't sound ominous," Sam sarcastically commented.

"Demon's blood can cure any diseases such as cystic fibrosis, huntingtons...it could potentially even cure cancer," Natasha explains after picking up where Cap left off and Barry raises an eyebrow.

"And...how is that bad?" Barry asks, not getting the reason of this 'Mission' if the subject is just being made to help people.

"It's been stolen," Natasha says simply. She pauses before going on. "In its current form...it's a bio-weapon. They haven't full finished the serum so right now it's still in dose age; meaning the only thing that Demon's blood can do right now is give out certain symptoms such as: dizziness, headaches, high blood pressure, time loss, hell you could even get hallucinations. If the serum was to be sold to people, they could die due to rapid immunodeficiency. But that's not the worse part," Natasha explains before making her tone sound low at the end.

Barry, Vison, Wanda, Sam, and Rhodey all listen very carefully to what Natasha was about to say. "Clint and I have been staking outside of the building, gathering some intel. But one night, when we were in the car a man in a black suit entered the building, and an hour later he came out with a file in his hand and entered a white van before taking off to god knows where," Natasha says vaguely.

"Did you guys follow him at least?" Barry sternly questioned and Steve spoke up.

"They did but after passing the tunnel through the intersection on 56th, they were gone. Both the man and the van," Steve responds.

"Could you at least get a good look at him?" Sam asks and Natasha shakes her head.

Rhodey shakes his head a bit then says, "Not good. with it in the wrong hands, who knows what damage they could do if they give out the serum. Vision?"

The avengers all look at Vision who was closing his eyes before opening them. "If my calculations are correct...there is a 67% that the poison could potentially- if tampered with, give extraordinary powers. But the remaining 33% could cause a global pandemic that can endanger the lives of not only New York but probably the whole country," Vision says.

With raised eyebrows. "Wait how would that even be possible?" Barry asks with his mouth slightly open.

Vision begins. "Since the serum is technically almost like a virus, the more-"

"The more the demon blood is in the immune system it could possibly start to infect anyone it comes close with," Barry finishes Visions words, feeling rather proud for being mastered in physics and chemistry.

"Precisely," Vision says simply and Barry nods his head.

"So now that we have all that info, what do we do now?" Sam asks.

"Glad you asked, Sam. We need more information about the serum. We might know what it can do, but we need the origin of the Demons blood so we can try and create a cure," Steve says.

"Okay...so how do we do this?" Wanda asks and Natasha eyes a particular person while Steve looks at Wanda.

"We need someone on the inside. Like a mole. To tell us what's happening and what's going on from the inside." Steve responds then looks at the particular person that Natasha was looking at.

"And who better than someone who mastered in science such as Chemistry and Physics." Steve said.

Then, one by one, Sam, Wanda, Rhodey, and Vision turn their heads to the fellow speedster who was looking down, unaware he has eyes on him. After a second, Barry picks himself back up only to be surrounded with eyes all on him.

He takes a second then says with an unimpressed look, "For real! Me?!" he complained and Steve nods. "Why can't no one else do it?" He asks.

"Because unlike you, we're not nerds-no offense," Natasha says and Barry immediately points to Vision.

"What about Vision? He is literally a walking google." Barry suggested and Natasha shakes her head.

"He's a robot and is easily detectable with his pink skin." Natasha claims. Barry then points to Wanda.

"How about Wanda?" He questioned and Steve folds his arms.

"She's been exposed to the government. Any sign of her and she's getting taken away or maybe worse." Steve responds. Barry then turns to Sam and puts a hand on his shoulder.

"Sam?" He asks.

"Well...he's Uh-" Steve trails off, not knowing how to say what he was gonna say.

Sam shakes his head. "Just say it man." he says simply.

"He's noticeable and is not that smart-Sorry bud," Steve apologetically says and Sam makes a face.

"Not gonna lie that kinda stings," Sam admits and Natasha mouthed 'sorry'

Barry then points at Rhodey gently. "How bout Rhodes? Isn't he in the army, didn't they teach you about weapons or somethin?" He asks and Rhodey smirks.

"I'm noticeable dude. And no. They didn't teach us about the inside of a weapon." Rhodey clears up and Barry grumbles.

"Tony?" He asks.

"Famous." Natasha says simply.

"Clint?" He asks.

"Retired." Steve replies.

Barry sighs. "Son of a- what about Thor?"

"Off world." The avengers say in union. Barry leans back in his chair and moans in frustration.

Natasha begins. "Look," she pauses then looks at Barry's eyes who turns his attention at her. "We're gonna be there to help you, alright?" Barry still doesn't seem convinced since he looks away. Natasha then puts her hands on the table. "Come on Barry, we need you if we're gonna complete this mission," Natasha says. Barry stays silent, thinking it over for a few minutes.

"Has Tony fixed my Tachyon device yet? Or-" Barry complains but was cut off.

Steve groans. "Barry."

"Alright, alright. But I'm gonna need a good night sleep and train if I'm gonna do this-or maybe I could try and run back home," Barry says and Steve chuckles.

"Don't worry, we got your back," Steve assured him and Barry nods.

"Fine. In that case, Barry Allen; The infiltrator," he says to himself and Natasha smirks, thinking already on ways to complete this mission.

And I'll end it off there. Guys sorry for the late upload, I tried to make this one a little more interesting but after going through scenarios and ideas in my head, it didn't seem to work out so I just decided to do an infiltration mission.

Now Stand with Ward and Queen did something similar but mine will be different. Like wayyy different. So you'll just have to see.

But other than that, I hope you liked how I made the spider-man far from home reference when he was suggesting other hero's for the mission with Quentin Beck. I just thought this is something Barry would say since he barely had a year here and he's already on a mission lol.

Also no. I do not think Sam is dumb, I just made Steve say that cause he just doesn't know science like Barry does...and also it was kinda funny in my head.

Anyway, this is it for this chapter and I will work on the other one cause I have a great idea but I have to add a little scene before the mission. By the way, I know Oscorp isn't in the MCU, but it's my story so why not add it for a mission.
