Well, if you liked chapter 1 then your probably gonna love chapter 2 maybe. Alright so basically Flash will be coming out of the speed force next chapter, cause i wanna focus on the Marvel and Team Flash then ill bring Barry .

Oh also i hoped you like how i added a little bit of Black Widow into it, i will be talking more about it, since its after Civil war. Anyway chapter 2 enjoy!

Chapter 2 Living lives

Central City 2017

Joe's house

Joe and Cecile have decided to move In together because they want to be a little more closer to one another. Joe, Iris and Cecil are having a family dinner night trying to get their minds off of what happened in the last six months.

"Honey, I love that your moving in with me, but do you really need all this stuff? I mean we have less space." Says Joe as he's drinking his wine

"I only have a couple of more boxes to bring over over." Cecile complaints

"We have no more room in the garage or the basement" Joes reassures her

"Right--or, we could just get rid of some more of your stuff" Responded Cecile. Joe looked at her with confusion and responded "Like what?" He's making a face that shows that he's not gonna like what he has to hear

"Like, babe, do you really need all the smelly old records in there" --Oh, Cecile... Iris playfully says knowing Cecile has crossed the line with that one. "Records? You mean my vintage jazz LP collection..." --Mm-hmm. Cecile said as Joe continued "That I painstakingly and carefully collected over the last 30 years?" Iris pointed to Joe as she kept looking at Cecile showing her she really is gonna have to watch out for the records.

"Really?" Cecile playfully says as she looks to Iris then back to Joe "Those are my loves, babe they are going in the coffin with me when I die." Joe responds --"Okay, maybe we can bury them now, and you could just join them at a later date." Cecile sarcastically said "Oh, you got jokes?" Joe playfully said "Yeah." Cecile responded, Iris is just hearing all of this and just laughing. "Your lucky i already gave you the key, because I'm starting to rethink this whole move-in thing." Joe says to Cecile as he's point at her.

"No, your not." Cecile playfully said once more -" No, im not." Joe responds with a smile forming on his face "No, your not 'cause you love me" Cecile says to Joe, Joe laughed at her and smiling. Cecile gets up and plants a kiss on Joe. Cecile sees in the corner of her eyes that Iris is watching them with sadness in her eyes. "Um-- Why don't I make some coffee?" Cecile says trying to leave the room. "Obvious." Joe playfully said. Cecile left the room leaving the Father and Daughter the only ones.

There was silence until Joe spoke up.

"Okay, so, ever since Julian moved back to London, they have been short-staffed in the crime lab at CCPD, and I've been stalling Singh with this whole story of Barry being on sabbatical in the Czech Republic..."

-"And they wanna hire someone to replace him" says Iris as she interrupted him. Joe looks at her waiting for a response, but what she said shocked Joe.

"Yeah, they should. They need help. Barry's not coming back, so..."

-"You don't know that." Joe says

-"Yes, i do." Iris says trying so hard to move on

-"Sweetheart..." Joe hesitates then continues "Im very proud of you for taking the lead with Wally and Cisco at S.T.A.R Labs, and I let you have your space, so that you'd have time to deal with what happened." Iris interrupted him again

-"Dad, im fine, okay?" Joe responds with sympathy and sadness in his tone "Im not. we lost him, Iris. My son. Your everything." Iris fired back quickly "Dad, what do you want me to do? Curl up in a ball and cry all day? I cant do that. Barry told me to be strong. Im being strong."

-"When H.R died, we had a funeral. We spoke about this life. Maybe we should do that same thing for Barry, give us all permission to grieve." Joe says

-Iris annoyed, and sad as she says "And what are we gonna bury, Dad? An empty suit in the lab?"

There was silence after that, Joe hasn't said another word that night,Iris was fed up and tired of all her tears she just shed and leaves the house before saying "You know what, Thank Cecile for dinner. Im gonna get going, okay?" After she said that, Iris leaves leaving Joe just staring out in space thinking of what his daughter has told her.

Unknown location

2016

"You know, Now would be a good time to tell us your name fitting we told you ours." Nat says with her blonde hair and black leather suit.

"Im Barry, Barry Allen" the mysterious voice said as he's in the front of the room next to a white board

Steve woke up gasping for air in the night he checked his clock and it read 5:40 he sighed of relief that he was just having a dream or a nightmare of what seemed to be a guy in a bunker with the remaining Avengers on Steve's side during the whole Sokovian accords.

"What the hell?" Steve murmured to himself. He gets up from his bed and walked to his bathroom, he stared at himself in the mirror where he sees his reflection staring back at him with a beard and his hair all different. He then splashed water on his face trying to make sure he's not dreaming.

Steve wandered around the room, when he stops. He was staring at his Captain America suit. It was beaten up with shredded sleeves, and the mask was torn a little, the suit has been untouched for so long that the suit's red, blue and white color started to fade. He stared longingly at his suit flashing back on events that happened during the Sokovian accords.

He walks back to the bed to try and get some rest again but he cant seem to. He checked the time and it read 6:12. "Of course." he said to himself. Steve walked out of his bedroom into his dirty kitchen. Dishes still undone, Cabinets opened and the paint was coming off, and plates all over his table with bottles all over his floor.

Steve opens a window as he grabs a pack of cigars and climbs out of the fire escape grabs a cigar and a lighter and lights his cigarette. Steve is staring out into the view where he sees the sunrise and clothesline all over the alley next to him and broken down market called; Mr. Jefferson. Steve then suddenly gets a call from his burner phone where it read: Unknown

He picks it up and is surprised to who was calling him.

-Yeah?

-*Steve?* As the person on the other end said that he knew exactly who it was.

-Nat?

-*How are you star spangled? Hanging on? Are you enjoying smoking your problems away?*

Steve looked around him trying to find Nat but no luck.

-How did you get this number?

-* you know me Cap, I always find my targets.*

-Nat. How did you contact me?, you know were not on speaking terms. Not after what you did!

-* Hey! I saved your ass Rogers, and your Winter friend, the least you can do is thank me.*

Steve was hesitant at first, but he knew she was right. Because of her, Steve and Bucky were able to get to Siberia and stop Zemo.

-What do you want...Nat?

-*Iwanted to check up on a friend.*

-Nat...

-*Fine. Meet me at Arnies In 5.*

The call went dead after that. Steve was hesitant but he knew deep down that Nat is dealing with something and wants to help.

Steve went to his closet and pulled out a box labeled: "Undercover" in it, it has a gray T-shirt with a black jacket, blue jeans, sunglasses and a blue baseball cap. He went to the bathroom and brushed his teeth before he head out.

Arnies Dinner

Steve walked in the dinner looking for Nat but couldn't find her. He then sees a blonde haired girl sipping her coffee in a green baseball cap and sunglasses in a booth in front of him "No way." He said to himself. He then reached the booth and to his surprise he sees Nat.

She didn't have red hair like before. Steve got stunned as he saw her hair, it was blonde just like the dream with a greenish grayish jacket around her with black jeans.

He then sat down acting normal silence took over the table until Steve spoke up "Good to see you again after these two months." She looked over to him and says "Nice beard." Steve smiles as she said that.

"So whats up?" He says. Moments later Nat slides over a file across the table. He opened it and was confused. "What is this. Some kind of joke?"

"No, its not a joke. Two months ago Ross was able to contain our fellow Avengers after Germany. He has them held up in a remote facility called the RAFT." She then pointed to the building on the file where its labeled: Family Escape Plan

"And..." Steve says. Nat continued "Clint, Wanda, Sam, and Scott are held up in Cell Block E where theres an entrance right there" she pointed to a vent then she continued "where there are no cameras, no laser, and no deathtrap"

"Right. But why are you showing me this?" Steve asked "has two months here, damage your common sense?" Nat said as she took a sip from her coffee.

"If, your asking me... to help you break them out, the answer is No." Steve said as he got up to leave but before he does he says "Also, my common sense is fine. I rather just choose to not get locked up, why are you?" He turns around to leave but Nat says "My family."

He then turns around and asked "What?" Nat continued "After Ross tried to lock me up, i managed to escape, and got my self wrapped up with my past." Steve sat back down wanting to hear this story. She continued "I was in Norway, when i got the message...a skilled assassin was trying to kill me, for getting away from the Red Room. Do you remember about the mission i told you about? The one where Clint and I were headed to Budapest to exterminate the guy who created the Red Room but accidentally took out the daughter." Nat said

-"Yeah, you locked yourself in your room for two weeks after that happened." Steve said

-Yeah well, my sister, her name's Yelena; she sent me a sort of message to find her. And when i did it turned out the Red Room's brainwash was worn out of her, and we got into a huge fight until some other girls from the Red Room came to collect us. We managed to getaway but Dreykov sent one of his friends to come get us, we got away. again. And managed to find a way to destroy the Red Room, but we needed help. So...we recruited my adoptive parents to help out, we successfully made it out destroying the Red Room. But...I had to say goodbye to my family ever since." Nat starts to tear up. Steve gets up from his side of the booth and walks over to her side and tells her "Scoot-over" he playfully said she obliged and moved to the side for Steve to sit next to her.

He sat down and hugged her friend as tight as he could, and she returned the hug. The moment was ruined as Nat looks behind and sees two men in body armor entering the dinner holding a picture of Nat and Steve and asked the chef "Have you seen these two?" Then one of the men started walking towards them. Nat then pulled away quick and said "Remember when I said; public displays of affection make people very uncomfortable?"

"Yeah...wha-" Nat cuts him off with a kiss. She puts her arm around his neck and kissed him passionately. The men walked towards their booth and saw them kissing, the men then walked away feeling awkward. Nat and Steve were supposed to pull away but something made them continue. During the kiss Nat and Steve hear one of the men on their walkie talkies saying *They're not here* the two men then walk out of the dinner and Steve and Nat pull away.

"Thats the second time we kissed." Steve said playfully

"Yeah keep kissing me, and we might have to make it official." Nat playfully said then she grabbed his hand and said "Come on" they left out the dinner and walked carefully outside to the nearest rooftop.

Alright ima end it here, next chapter will be the breakout, and we'll see more of probably Tony's life or I might just get straight into it and just let Steve and Nat break the others out, I will be doing team Flash fighting the samuroid next chapter definitely. No doubt about it, and Barry will meet the avengers probably on the 4th chapter, but he will also show up on the next one just he wont interact with them yet. Anyway, this was a little hard to write. But hey, it was fun, also hope you like what i did with Steve and Nat. Also i had to put Unknown cause i didn't know where Steve was after Civil War, give me suggestions and ill change it.
