A/N: I have no plans to continue this story, but I figured I'd add this to give the story a proper ending.
Cheryl recovered her eyesight a few days after the auditions. It was concluded that her blindness was a psychosomatic response to the stress she was undergoing after the death of her brother. As such, she was committed to a psychiatric institution at the bequest of her parents. Sabrina had to keep herself from smiling when she first heard the news. She was fitting into her new life at Riverdale pretty well. She, Betty, and Veronica were getting along well. They'd just been put together for a group project in their history class. They had to write a report on the founding of Riverdale. Sabrina suggested they do it on how must of the founders of Riverdale came from Greendale. Both Betty and Veronica agreed. Things were going good for her.
Since auditions, she and Cheryl didn't really interact much. Obviously, they saw each other often since they were both on the River Vixens. But most of that was very matter of fact. "Do this. Do that. Stand there." Nothing particularly deep was said. Cheryl spared Sabrina her acid tongue, saving her cruel words for others. Sabrina seemed to be the only one on the team who avoided Cheryl's insults. It was almost as if she was scared of Sabrina. Maybe she knew subconsciously what had really happened on that day during auditions.
One day, someone tripped during lunch and dropped a tray of food on Sabrina. The girl apologized and Sabrina assured her she didn't mind. She went to the bathroom to clean up. Inside, she could see Cheryl was applying her make-up in the bathroom mirror. As Sabrina entered, Cheryl rolled her eyes, as if she was annoyed at having to share the bathroom with someone else. Sabrina just went to the sink and washed up. As she did, she glanced over at Cheryl. Cheryl was looking at her at the same time and the two made eye contact. The redhead glared at the new girl. Sabrina didn't break her gaze. "What are you looking at?"
Sabrina broke out laughing. A confused look came over Cheryl's face. "What's so funny?"
Sabrina continued to laugh. Cheryl opened her mouth as if she were going to say something, but nothing came out. Her look of confusion turned into one of terror. She rushed out of the bathroom. Sabrina looked at herself in the mirror and smiled. It looked like she had broken Riverdale's Queen Bee.
