Matrix hadn't said a word to Lexie as she guided the young Lt down the dimly lit streets, a knife pressed into her back. "Where are you taking me?" Questioned Lexie, she couldn't stand the silence anymore. "Just keep walking kid, you'll find out soon enough." Matrix muttered while jabbing her blade into Lexie's back a little more, "You don't have to keep a knife to my back, unlike you, I do as I promise." Suddenly something wacked Lexie in the back of the leg, causing her to fall face first to the ground. "You might not want to do that again, next time I might actually hurt you. Now get up." Lexie growled quietly to herself as she slowly got back to her feet, maybe talking back wasn't the best idea she had. A little while later they came to what appeared to be an abandoned warehouse, which clearly had seen better days. The windows were all smashed and the corrugated metal, which was nailed to the outside walls, was peeling away. Matrix ordered Lexie to enter which she did, there was no way Lexie was going to argue with the woman who held two blades, not to mention an electric tail. But there wasn't anything inside which confused the hell out of Lexie, while also scaring her a little.

"There's nothing here…" Stuttered Lexie as she looked around slowly, "Do you really think we'd be that stupid to keep our operation on show? Pathetic, let's go." Once again Matrix shoved her weapon into Lexie's back to make her walk. "Did she just say 'our'? It's not just her?" That's what Lexie was thinking. They soon came to the back wall but still there was nothing there, apart from a small silver fuse box which Matrix pointed at. "Open it and flick the switch." Lexie slowly raised her hand up and opened the tiny door, to reveal a small switch, which she carefully flicked down. Just then to Lexie's complete amazement, a section of the wall simply vanished to reveal what she could only assume was some sort of elevator. "I guess you'll want me to get in" Lexie asked, Matrix just nodded as the pair stepped inside. Even though it was a small elevator, Matrix didn't move her knife far from Lexie's body, all she did was move it to the Engineers side. Lexie watched on as her captor's tail attached itself to some form of socket, which seemed to activate the elevator. "Nice security…" Lexie muttered, once again breaking through the silence. "Keep quiet!" Growled Matrix, the doors then closed with an echoing bang.

Lexie wasn't too sure what was going to be waiting for her, but she knew it wouldn't be pleasant. When the doors opened once again, Matrix removed her tail which swished behind her aggressively. "Out." But Lexie didn't move, so she shoved Lexie out with incredible force, so much so that Lexie almost fell over but managed to catch herself. "Next time, do as you're told." Lexie just glared at her, she believed it would be better to just play along with Matrix's little game until she found a way to escape. Lexie had no intentions of staying here long, it was then when she heard a voice speak to them from the shadows. "You took your time Matrix, you were due back an hour ago." "Then next time, do the job yourself Nina, I'm back now and I've got what we needed." Lexie watched as a woman walked into the light, her blue hair shone in the bright light and much like Matrix, she looked very futuristic but there was something familiar about her. Lexie didn't know her, but it was the equipment that she held that the Engineer recognized, it was Star Fleet issue tech! "Well at lease you got the job done, come on, we've got work to do."

Lexie couldn't decide if she wanted to know what 'work' Nina was talking about or not, whatever it was Lexie knew she wouldn't like it. "I've got to get out of here, I don't like the look of this place." That's the only thought which was in Lexie's mind, she knew that by now the others had most likely been alerted to her abduction and they were most likely trying to find her. "Scotty must be losing his god dam mind, how many times have I been kidnapped now?" It was as if Lexie had a flashing neon sign above her head reading: 'Kidnap Me' because everyone in the universe chose of all the people on the Enterprise to take a young Engineer. As they continued to walk, Lexie was planning her escape, well more like she was planning on when to make a run for it. Suddenly Lexie put her plan into action, which wasn't really a plan at all. She turned round and kicked Matrix in the chest, before tripping Nina over. Lexie didn't waste any time in taking off running, "Dam it!" Nina cried as she picked herself up off the floor. "Well don't just stand there, after her!" Matrix yelled, her eyes seemed to glow with pure anger and frustration. "Don't worry, she won't get far." Nina smirked. "I've alerted our very own hunter, she'll find the brat."

"I really wish I knew where the hell I was supposed to be running?!" Lexie muttered to herself as she darted down a corridor, almost slipping over since she was wearing only socks on her feet, not to mention the fact that she was still in her PJs. Her feet were killing her due to the amount of walking she had done, since she had basically been walking barefoot. All of a sudden, Lexie heard a faint growl but it sounded almost mechanical. "Because that's not concerning…" Knowing that she had to hide, Lexie dived behind a metal container to conceal herself. Her whole body was shaking while her heart was beating so fast Lexie thought it would jump out of her chest, Lexie had been hiding her fear from Matrix but now she was able to express it. Tears formed in her sad unique eyes, "What I wouldn't give to be in Scotty's arms right about now, at least there I feel safe." Lexie whispered quietly since she didn't want to draw attention to herself. Suddenly the container which she had been hiding behind was sent flying across the room, "Found you!" A voice called arrogantly. Lexie turned round to just be greeted by a pair of glowing blue eyes, which seemed to peer directly into Lexie's soul. Not wanting to meet the being they belonged too, Lexie sprang to her feet and fled. But as Lexie ran, she could hear the mechanical growling getting louder and louder.

Soon Lexie found that there wasn't anywhere left for her to run, "Shit!" Frantically looking around Lexie was trying to see if there was anything she could use to defend herself with, but there was nothing, the room was completely empty. "Just my god dam luck!" Lexie had just turned back round when suddenly something pinned her to the ground, Lexie swore out loud at the pain which was burning in the back of her head. Opening her eyes slowly, she saw what had bowled her over. It looked like a robotic panther, its black and grey metallic body made it look gigantic, while its eyes and claws glowed with a futuristic blue light. "Get off me, you monster!" Lexie yelled as she tried to shove the panther off, "Don't insult my pet, you dam brat." A voice called from above her head. Lexie diverted her eyes upwards to see the smug face of a purple haired woman smiling down at her, "There's nowhere you could possibly go, where me and Mistral won't be able to find you." So, Mistral was the panthers name? "Just let me go, please!" Lexie begged, hoping that there was at least some good in the woman who was staring at her. "In your dreams! We've waited a long time for someone like you to show up, so we don't plan on letting you go."

The pair just stared into each other's eyes, "Who are you?" Stuttered Lexie. "Call me, Salix." "Well then Salix, can you please get your 'pet' off me? He's not the lightest thing in the bloody world." Lexie asked quietly since Mistral was pressing hard on her chest. "Only if you behave, there's no escape from here." Salix made that sound so menacing, Lexie didn't really care what the woman wanted her to do, as long as her 'pet' got off her. "Yes, I'll behave, now please get him off. I can't breathe." Salix's smile only grew as she ordered for Mistral to back off, but as soon as the panthers paws were removed from her body Lexie leapt to her feet and tried once again to make a run for it, she wasn't going to give up that easily. But maybe she should have, since something extremely painful struck her in the back, causing her to fall unconscious to the floor. "Just like a Star Fleet Officer, stubborn. Come along Mistral, our employer is waiting and bring the brat. Drag her if you so wish, just don't break anything." Salix walked past her pet, stroking him on his metallic head. Mistral nodded in acknowledgment of its masters command, he crouched down and picked Lexie up in his mouth. Not her body, just the back of her shirt and then dragged her along as he walked.

Thankfully Lexie didn't stay out for long, her eyes slowly fluttered open to see her surrounding slowly passing by. She took this time to take a closer look at Salix, since she had already had a close encounter with the woman's cybernetic feline. Her purple hair was up in a ponytail which flowed down her back, the clothes she wore looked identical to that of Mistral, but the most noticeable thing was the tail which dragged along the floor behind Salix. Much like Matrix, Salix also had a futuristic looking tail, but why was that? Clearly they were man-made, but who was making them? Lexie was slightly in awe at the advanced tech, it was what she dream about being able to create, of course not for the purpose it was being used for now. "Tell me Salix, are you even human?" Lexie wasn't really sure what had made her ask that question, not to mention if she wanted the truthful answer to it. "Of course I'm human, you insolent child! I'm just one who has been technologically improved." Salix called loudly, "So you're more a cyborg then a human." By how quickly Salix snapped her head around to stare at Lexie, she didn't take too kindly to that statement. "I am not a cyborg! How dare you assume that! You audacious brat!" Salix raised her hand high, the claws on what appeared to be gloves shimmered in the faint light. "Me and my big mouth… They look sharp…"

But before Salix could bring her hand down, a voice bellowed for her to stop. "That's enough Salix! Stand down, you and your pet have done your job." "But…" Salix clearly wasn't very impressed about being stopped, "Are you questioning my authority Salix? You know what happened to the last person who did that." Salix's face turned almost white, she looked terrified. Salix quickly dropped down to one knee, an arm placed diagonally across her chest while her 'pet' crouched beside her. "Forgive my arrogance Mistress, I never meant to question you." Lexie still had no idea who was talking to Salix, as far as she could tell, no one else was around. "You are a loyal servant Salix, don't make me regret my decision on taking you on." Salix just nodded, "Never, Mistress." "Good, now. Prepare our guest, there is work to be done." The voice ordered once again, apparently whoever the voice belonged to, was the one in charge. "What are you going to do with me?!" Yelled Lexie bravely, a snigger came from the shadows. "So demanding, don't worry you'll find out soon. Shut her up, won't you Matrix?" Lexie went to speak again, but a shock from behind prevented even the faintest sound coming from her mouth, as she fell flat on the floor, unconscious once more. When Lexie finally did wake up there was no telling how much time had passed, but that wasn't the most pressing question on her mind.

That question was, where the hell was she? Lexie looked around to see that she was inside some sort of glass chamber, she went to move her hands only to find that they were bound together. Looking down Lexie noticed something even more strange, she was wearing different clothes and they didn't make her look that friendly. "You're awake, perfect. How do you like your new outfit? Quite striking, wouldn't you say?" It was the same mysterious voice as before which had spoken, "Not really, I don't like the whole 'look like an evil science experiment' look." Answered Lexie, she was hoping that the person she was talking to would show their face. But still no one appeared from the shadows which lingered in the room, "Would you show yourself already?! Or are you too much of a coward to show your smug little face?" Lexie just wanted to see who she was dealing with, but didn't hold out much hope. So when a figure did step forward, Lexie was in complete shock. More so when she recognised the person, "YOU!" "Yes, me. I feel flattered that you remember me, Lexie." The person stood before her was none other than that blond haired woman, the one who had been following her around all day. "I knew she was up to something." Lexie muttered annoyingly to herself as she stared into the woman's eyes. What did this woman have planned for the young Lt? Lexie just didn't know.
