Scotty could feel something resting against his head, or the other way around. His body ached like never before, not to mention his eyes were refusing to open. "Just let me opened them, for god sake…" Scotty muttered to himself as he tried once again to blink his eyes open, this time they did. Sure, it was only for a split second, but they still opened. Scotty soon managed to get his brown eyes open, but it took him a while to figure out where the hell he was. "Where the hell…" Scotty muttered while slowly sitting up, "Mr Scott, is that you?" A voice called quietly from beside him. He turned to see Chekov sitting up, clutching one of his arms close to his chest. "Laddie, you alright?" Scotty asked as he shuffled over to his friend, "I think… I've broken my arm…" Chekov muttered as his eyes squinted in pain. "Hold on lad, I'll wake McCoy up." Scotty quickly scanned around and located McCoy, laying on his side, out cold. Scotty crawled across the floor to reach the Doctor, mainly since his body wasn't going to let him stand up. "Leonard, wake up." Scotty gently shook McCoy, hoping to wake him up, which he thankfully did. "Scotty? That you?" "Aye Leonard, it's me. Pavel's hurt." That seemed to get McCoy's attention, since he bolted up.

"Where is he?" Scotty pointed over his shoulder before the pair scrambled over to Chekov, "Easy now kid, let me see." Chekov painfully let McCoy examine his arm, thankfully the Doctor still had his Tricorder with him. "Yep, it's broken. Not badly, but it's still going to kill." Not what Chekov wanted to hear, but it couldn't be helped. "I need something to use as a sling, can't have it clutched to your chest forever now, can we?" McCoy intended that as a joke, to hopefully make the young Navigator laugh, which it did. "Here, use this." Scotty looked over his shoulder to see Blythe kneeling behind him, something draped over her hand. "It's only my scarf, but it should make a good sling." Scotty smiled as he took it from the woman's slightly shaking hand, "Thanks lass." Scotty then handed it to McCoy, who quickly turned the scarf into a sling to hold Chekov's broken arm. "How does that feel, kid?" "Much better, thank you Doctor." That was a relief for everyone to hear, just then several grunts came from the shadows. "That hurt…" A voice called, "You're telling me…" Another added. "Jim, Grace. Are the two of you hurt?" Blythe asked quickly, "I think we're alright, Blythe." Grace replied while looking down to see what she held in her arms, turned out to be both Delta and Crescentia. "They don't seem hurt either, that's good then."

"Well, then. Where the hell are we?" Kirk's question was the most important one, after making sure that everyone was alright. They appeared to be in some form of box, which was created by some sort of force field. Much to their surprise, they all still had their weapons, but none of them seemed to work. "Allow me to be the one to answer that for you, Captain." That made Kirk whip his head round to see a familiar woman walking towards them, "You!" He cried angrily. "It seems it's not just your young friend who remembers me, how cute." Clearly she was talking about Lexie, "Where is she?!" Scotty yelled. "You're quite the rude one aren't you, not even going to introduce yourselves before yelling out demands." Kirk just glared at her, "Then why don't you start by telling us your name?" "Zosia…" Someone called from behind the Captain. McCoy turned to see Grace holding their robotic companions tightly, "What did ya say kid?" Grace slowly lifted her head up, but kept her eyes off the woman. "Zosia… Her name's Zosia, that's my mother…" Kirk just stared, that woman was Grace's mother! Zosia just smiled as she stared at Grace, who turned her head away quickly while tears dripped down her cheek.

"Wait a second, you referred to Kirk as Captain… How did you know that?!" Chekov asked, apparently he was the only one who saw that as weird. "Oh, the answer to that question is simple. Mr Pavel Andreievich Chekov." Now that was freaky, not only did she know that Kirk was a Captain. She also knew Chekov's full name. "And what is that simple answer?" McCoy asked, "I hacked into the Star Fleet Data Base, I know all about the crew of the famous USS Enterprise. Therefore, I know each and every one of you. Even that talking tin can." Now that statement made Scotty's blood boil. "Don't ya dare call the lad a tin can!" Scotty took a step forwards, only to collide with the force field which sent a shock through his body. "Scotty!" Kirk stepped forward just in time to prevent the Scotsman's head from hitting the floor, "May I suggest that you don't do that again, it might sting a bit more a second time." Kirk glared quickly at Zosia before he looked down at Scotty, who was surprisingly still awake. "You OK?" God, he hoped Scotty was. "I'm alright, Jim. Just a bit sore." Kirk lowered the Scotsman down, allowing for McCoy to scan him over. "Well would ya look what the cat dragged in?" Called Matrix, it seemed that Blythe knew what she was referring to. "No…"

Slowly walking towards them was Salix, closely followed by Mistral. But it was what the cybernetic panther had in his mouth which concerned them, not to mention who Salix was shoving along. "Keenser! Evrim!" Kirk cried, "My, this is quite the reunion isn't it." Zosia grinned as she walked over to Evrim, raising a hand up and ripping off her mask. "I knew one day you'd come crawling back." Zosia sounded so smug, so arrogant. She was clearly enjoying this way too much already, "You need a reality check, if you think that's what's happening here. I would never come crawling back to you, ever." Growled Evrim, suddenly Zosia smacked her across the face, so hard that Evrim actually fell over. "Evrim!" Yelled Blythe who took a step closer to the force field, "Remember who your Mistress is." Zosia stated as she kicked Evrim in the side. "Stop it! Leave her alone!" Blythe looked like she was on the brink of crying, tears glistened in her eyes. Zosia's smirk only grew as she turned round, "Oh, as protective as ever of your little love bunny. Aren't you?" Blythe didn't reply with words, instead she simply growled angrily. Kirk was confused, did Zosia mean that Evrim and Blythe were in some sort of relationship? Scotty hadn't taken his eyes off Keenser, who was hanging from Mistrals mouth. "Please be alright wee man… You've just gotta be…"

Scotty would beat himself if he wasn't, "I should have stopped you from going with Evrim, I should have gone instead… Oh, laddie…" Scotty soon turned his attention back on Zosia. "You two rely on each other far too much, Blythe." Announced Zosia as she picked Evrim up off the floor and held her by the neck, "Not only that, the love which you both have for each other is your greatest down fall." Suddenly, Salix began laughing. "Oh Zosia, you think you're so clever." Zosia snapped her head to face her, "Salix! How dare you! Have you forgotten where your loyalty lies?!" "No, I haven't. But maybe you should get your eyes checked, before assuming peoples identity." All eyes fell upon Salix, everyone was confused as to what she was saying. Just then, Salix clicked her fingers. At that moment, her body flickered and changed. Evrim was now standing there, while Zosia was holding Salix by the neck. "WHAT?!" Blythe beamed happily, Mistral looked confused as hell. He didn't know what to do, so he just dropped Keenser, who jumped to his feet. Apparently he had been awake this whole time, he shot Mistral with his phaser before shooting the computer which controlled the force field, in turn freeing his friends.

Everyone just stood there, clearly no one had really been expecting that. "You Star Fleet Officers are all the same…" Muttered Zosia as she dropped Salix, who landed on her feet. "But I'll soon show you how pathetic you are." She flung off the cape, which was wrapped around her neck, while the blue rings on her gloves glowed faintly. Suddenly, a pair of black blades came flying out of nowhere, which Zosia caught amazingly. "Not high tech, but effective." She then looked over at her followers, "Looks like we have a fight on our hands ladies." Each of them smiled. "Look, we don't want a fight. Just let Lexie go." Kirk called, but it seemed Zosia wasn't going to just hand Lexie back. She charged at Kirk, blades held tightly. "Arh crap!" He only had a phaser, something which wasn't very good at handling swords at close range. Kirk watched as a bright yellow blade came across his face, deflecting Zosia. "Thanks, Blythe." "Don't mention it." It wasn't long before all hell broke loose! Kirk, McCoy, and Chekov (despite his broken arm) were fighting Nina, who had thrown off her lab coat and produced a whip from somewhere. Mistral had his paws full with Keenser, Delta, and Crescentia, he was trying to catch them but they were proving to be too quick for him.

Blythe and Evrim were face to face with Salix and Matrix, "When you said distraction, this wasn't what I had in mind." Blythe said when the two were back to back, staring down their opponents. "Well, my first one didn't go well. So, I went with plan B." Evrim replied with a smile, Blythe chuckled quietly. "Nothing new there then." With a cheeky smiled to each other, they started fighting once more. Which left Scotty and Grace to deal with Zosia, "How does it feel Gracella? To be fighting your own mother." Grace just glared at her. "You're no mother to me, you're just a monster." Suddenly, Grace watched as Mistral smashed Crescentia with his tail, sending her crashing into the wall. "NO!" "Go help her lass, I'll be fine." Grace just stared at Scotty in disbelief, "But…" "Go, I can handle this bitch…" Grace wasn't going to argue, so she took off across the room to help Crescentia and the others. "You're brave, either that or you're just stupid." Zosia said while using the tip of one of her blades to move her hair out of her face, "Give Lexie back." Scotty growled, his hand tightly gripping his phaser. But Zosia just laughed, "No, why do you care so much for her anyway?" Scotty just stared at her, "Why? I'll tell you why, you bitch! Because she's my daughter!"

Kirk just stared at him, "Did he just call Lexie, his daughter?" McCoy couldn't help but smile slightly. "This wasn't how I envisioned you telling the rest of the guys…" McCoy had been the only one to know of the father-daughter relationship the two Engineers had, well to that degree anyway. "But, that's impossible! Her record stated her parents died thirteen years ago!" Clearly Zosia was baffled. "Family isn't just those you share blood with, it's those you love. But someone like you wouldn't get that." Scotty said, while shaking his head, tears flew from his eyes. He just couldn't hold them back anymore. "Give me back my daughter! She's been through enough hell as it is!" Suddenly, Scotty lunged for Zosia, pinning her to the floor. Kirk wanted to yell for his Chief to stop, this wasn't going to help them, but he was in too much shock. Scotty had never reacted like this before, anger. Pure anger.

"Give her back…" Scotty growled through gritted teeth, "I'm afraid that's not possible, your 'daughter' is undergoing a major experiment." Zosia replied smugly, a smirk on her face. "Experiment?" Did Scotty just hear that correctly? "Lexie is not some glorified, lab rat! She's a human being! A child!" With his hands wrapped around the woman's neck, Scotty stared right into her eyes. "Tell me where she is, now!" "Or what?" Muttered Zosia, "You'll kill me?" "You bet I will…" McCoy was in disbelief, not only at how Scotty was behaving, but at what that monster had just said about Lexie. Scotty opened his mouth to speak, when the sound of shattering glass echoed around the room. Everyone's heads turned towards the noise, to see glowing scarlet lights. Zosia's smile only grew upon seeing those lights, "HA! It worked!" Scotty turned back to stare at her. "What does that mean?" "Oh my, you Star Fleet Officers are such idiots. That's your 'so-called' daughter." Scotty's eyes widened as he turned back to face the lights, that couldn't be Lexie… Could it?
