Lexie didn't know where she was. All round her was just darkness, with the odd hint of red. It was cold, so much so that it made Lexie shiver. And if that wasn't scary enough, the fact that this whole place was completely silent. The only noise came from Lexie's own breathing and her racing heart, which was pounding in her chest. "W… where am I? What's going on?" Lexie was scared, this wasn't a nice feeling. It felt like she was in a deep dream, but something felt different. As if, this wasn't a dream. But that it was real life. "Is this… my own mind?" Lexie didn't know why she assumed that, maybe that was just because she was scared. Just then she heard a familiar voice. "Lassie… please come back to me… I need you… I love you… My sweet little girl… My daughter…" Her eyes widened, "Dad.." But what was he talking about? Come back to me? Lexie didn't understand, that was until she heard another voice. "What are you waiting for, Lexie! Kill him!" Wait, that was Zosia! Then it hit Lexie like a ton of bricks. "She… wants me to kill Scotty! No! I can't!"

Lexie wanted to run, but she couldn't move! Her whole body was wrapped in black metal chains, which glowed with a soft red light. She tried to break free from them, but couldn't. "Lexie, please! Don't kill him!" That voice, it belonged to Jim. Who else was around her? Most likely everyone. "I need to get out of here and stop… myself. Before I do end up killing someone." So she tried again. Only this time, she was able to loosen the chains slightly. Just then, she heard Zosia say something which made her blood run cold. "If you won't kill him in the next ten seconds, then I will! Pathetic Brat!" No! She couldn't let that happen! Lexie had sworn never to lose another dad, EVER! So she struggled against her chains again, this time however… She broke them! She was free! Lexie fell to her knees, groaning in pain. Her whole body hurt and she guessed that it would feel just as bad when she woke up. "Now to stop myself, but first-" She looked around the dull landscape. "I need to get out of here… Wherever here is…" It was then when Lexie noticed a small, white light in the distance. Just the sight of it made her feel warm and safe. "Well then, I guess I have my answer." So she picked herself up off the void floor and started running, well more like stumbling her way towards that light. Knowing it would lead her back home, it would free her from this place. "I'm coming back, guys!"

Scotty had closed his eyes after kissing his daughters head, he didn't want to see her kill him. That was until he felt the scythe slowly getting lowered from his throat, the blade not even breaking the skin. Now he was confused, so much so that he opened his eyes slowly, only to start crying instantly. Staring back at him wasn't those flaming eyes of horror, but those stunning unique eyes… of his daughter. Sure they looked sad as anything, but they were back to their normal colours. "Le…Lexie?" He was so confused, was he dreaming? Had Lexie really killed him? Or even Zosia? He had heard her say that if Lexie didn't kill him, then she would. But when Lexie chuckled quietly, whispering: "Hi, dad…" He knew this was real, his daughter was really standing in front of him. Scotty went to hug her, but instead he collapsed to his knees but Lexie helped him down gently. Lexie then slowly turned to face Zosia, who just stared at her. "How about you fight me, bitch. Now that you ain't controlling me." Lexie glared at the woman responsible for all of this, her blood boiling in anger. Not only at Zosia… but at herself too. "But… How?! There's no way you could have broken my control!" Lexie just laughed, "Oh but there was a way. One that you will never understand!"

Lexie took a step forwards, using her scythe as if it was a walking stick. "My body fucking hurts like hell!" She guessed that was down to Zosia's mind control, or at least how she made it happen. "Kidnapping me and brain washing me is one thing. But making me almost kill my own father… That's taking things too far!" For a moment, no one spoke. That was until Zosia started laughing. "What's so funny?!" Asked Kirk, Zosia wiped away the tears from under her eyes. "Oh, I'm just laughing at how pathetic you are! If you will not obey me-" The grip of her blades tightened, "Then you. Must. Die!" Suddenly, Zosia lunged for Lexie, blades swinging violently. "Lex!" Kirk cried, thankfully Lexie was able to block the attack with her scythe. Sure it wasn't a weapon Lexie was use to fighting with, but she could still use it. However, it wasn't the weapon which was causing her a problem. It was her own body. Something was wrong, Lexie seemed weak. Too weak to be fighting on her own. Kirk had stumbled over to Scotty with Delta in his arms, helping his friend to his feet. "Forget about me, Jim… Help the lass… She's hurt…" That's when the situation got worse. Way worse! It wasn't just Zosia who was fighting Lexie, but all of her minions too.

Zosia and her minions took it in turns to attack Lexie, who was trying so very hard to hold her own. But it was clear that she wasn't winning this fight, not on her own. At this moment in time, Lexie was too weak. "They'll kill her!" Kirk thought, that's when he had an idea. He quickly lowered Scotty down, handing the Scotsman their robot friend. "Careful, he's hurt." He said softly, before picking up a chunk of a broken console which was lying beside him. "Bones! Hit the deck!" McCoy didn't understand what Kirk was going to do, but knew enough to do as he said. "You heard the man, Pavel. Captain's orders." Chekov nodded as he laid down on the floor, trying not to rest on his broken arm, while he placed the other over the back of his head. McCoy laid next to him, an arm over the young man's back. While he used the other to cover his own head. Blythe made Evrim lie down, before using her body to shield her. Grace plucked Crescentia from the air, pressing her hard against her chest as she laid down like the others. It was then when she felt someone lie down beside her, placing their arms over her back and head. Looking to her right, Grace saw it was Keenser. He was protecting her from whatever was to come.

Once Kirk knew they were doing as he said, he threw the piece of metal at the control panel for their electronical prison. When the metal connected with the panel with a loud thud, the whole thing exploded. Shards of metal and shreds of wire were sent flying, showering the guys as they laid on the floor. "Guys! Help Lexie!" Blythe smiled as she stood up, helping Evrim up. "With pleasure." Both women grabbed their weapons from the floor, along with McCoy and the others. However McCoy didn't run over to Lexie, instead he ran over to Scotty and Kirk. "Bones, I said help Scotty." But it seemed the good Doctor wasn't going to listen. "No way, Jim. The others will help Lexie, Scotty needs looking at." McCoy began to scan the Scotsman over with his Tricorder, but Scotty just pushed him away. "I'm fine, Leonard. Just help the lass… Please." But McCoy didn't move, instead he just rolled his eyes. "I'm a Doctor, Scotty. Not a fighter. Let me help you." Scotty once again when to protest, but when he saw the look in McCoy's eyes, he just didn't bother. He wouldn't win this argument, so instead he just nodded. In his head, Scotty was hoping that McCoy would hurry up treating him so he could go help his daughter. It was causing him just as much pain to watch her having to fight, than the injury's he had. "Lexie…"

Poor Lexie was trying her hardest. Even though she was back to only fighting Zosia, it was still taking a toll on her already aching body. "I knew you were weak, but your only further proving my theory." Lexie narrowed her eyes, while she growled. "We don't have to fight… Just give up…" Lexie didn't want to fight anymore, not only that but she didn't think she could physically do it. It felt like her legs would just give out from under her, therefore her weapon was now a walking stick. It was the only thing keeping her upright. "Save me the speech, brat." Zosia suddenly lunged for Lexie, who wasn't quick enough to do anything. She was slammed against the wall behind her. Instantly Lexie knew she had broken some of her ribs, it was painful to breathe. "Lassie!" Screamed Scotty. "I will find the right lab rat one day, but since you weren't it-" Zosia pressed her blade hard against Lexie's neck, almost to the point that it broke the skin. "I must kill you." Lexie tried so hard to push Zosia away, but she just didn't have the strength to. She even tried to kick her attacker, but it's seemed to do near to nothing.

It was then when Lexie heard a faint cracking noise, at first she assumed it was another one of her ribs since Zosia was leaning on her quite hard. But when there wasn't any pain, she moved her gaze to look over her own shoulder. Lexie gasped quietly to herself, the wall behind her back was… cracking. "Glass… It's made of glass!" Without really meaning to, Lexie diverted her eyes down to see there was a gigantic drop behind her. It must have gone on for miles, there were a few odd pipes which crossed over the gap before disappearing into the wall. Lexie then looked back at Zosia before using all of her strength to shove the woman off, then she grabbed her by the front of her shirt, muttering. "This is for hurting my family." Without warning, Lexie slammed herself back into the glass wall, causing it to completely shatter. Which sent not only her, but Zosia plummeting down into the abyss in what could only be described as slow motion.

The two woman fought in mid-air, before pushing each other away. Lexie managed to grab hold of one of the pipes which was fixed firmly into the wall, which left her dangling helplessly. Unfortunately, Zosia wasn't so lucky. Although she had also managed to cling onto a pipe, the one she had grabbed wasn't so stable. Slowly it was coming away from the wall. Lexie watched as her enemy tried desperately to climb onto the pipe, but failed each time. "I can't let her fall…" Sure Zosia had kidnapped her and forced her to do some horrific things, but that didn't mean she deserved to die like this. So with her mind made up, Lexie dropped down from her safety net to a pipe just below her. This one was much closer to Zosia, so close in fact that she could possibly reach her. Back in the room, no one had moved. Scotty was still staring at the spot where his daughter once stood. "No!" Scotty quickly scrambled to his feet, rushing over to the now broken wall. McCoy followed him, grabbing the mans arm to make sure he didn't fall in too. Scotty watched on as Lexie carefully reached over to Zosia, offering her a slightly blooded hand.

"Zosia! Take my hand!" But instead, Zosia carried on struggling. "Zosia, please!-" Lexie leant over more. "Let me help you!" Once again Lexie moved her hand a little closer, but still Zosia refused to take it. Then it happened. The pipe Zosia was trying so desperately to climb on came away from the wall completely, causing her to plunge into the dark abyss. The woman's screams echoed around the stone walls, it was a sound Lexie would never forget. Tears formed in the young Engineers eyes, she had really tried to help her. Suddenly another voice yelled out, one which Lexie was glad to hear. She looked up to see Scotty's head poking over the edge. Lexie wanted to yell back, but instead just smiled. Then Blythe's head popped over, "Hold on, Lexie! I'll come down and get you!" Only a few moments later was Blythe floating her way down to her, when she got down to where Lexie was hanging, she held out her hands. "Grab on, Lexie." Tentatively, Lexie let go of the pipe and grabbed Blythe's hands, for clinging to her for dear life. "Don't worry, I've got you." Slowly the pair ascended back up to the others, where Scotty was waiting to take back his daughter. Lexie just hoped she could keep herself awake. She had the urge to just sleep, which was never a good sign.
