Hey, everyone! Sorry for the late update. I'll try to update more often. Anyway, enjoy!

Diaclaimer: I don't own Percy Jackson.

Annabeth POV

"You're a genius, kid, you knew that? A. Freaking. Genius." Tony was staring in awe at the blueprint for my mother's temple. I raised my chin in pride. It was good having my work appreciated. The gods always told me how much they liked the blueprints but they were gods, so the compliments sounded more like "This is pretty good, for a demigod.", "This is almost the right shade of pink." or "This is awesome. Not as awesome as me though." - I think you can guess who said what – and Percy hugged me and told me that I was the best architect in the entire world. Oh, gods! I miss him so much.

"Thanks. This 3D thing is very useful too. It's easier to find out what needs improvement and if I need to erase some stuff." I said.

"…."

"What?"

"Improvement?" Tony said in a disbelieving tone.

"Well, yeah. You didn't think this was the final version, did you?"

Tony opened his mouth and then closed it again. After 10 seconds of doing so, he threw his hands up in the air in a sign of defeat. I smirked, satisfied that I succeeded in making Tony Stark, supposedly the smartest human alive, speechless. "I'm just going to have to accept that you are an amazing architect." He said and clapped his hands. "I think lunch is ready. Shall we go?"

I walked past him. "How about a race?" I asked.

Tony grinned. "Sounds fun."

I started running and yelled over my shoulder "You're already behind!" I started laughing when I heard a "Hey! That's not fair!" and then someone running.

I entered the kitchen and touched the counter. "I win!" Tony came not long after and waved a hand at me in a dismissing manner.

"You know what? I'm not gonna ask." said Natasha.

Bruce put 2 giant bowls of pasta on the table. I sat down along with everyone else and started to eat. It was really good.

After lunch we decided to play some boardgames. Steve put a lot of games on the table. "What are we playing?"

"How about Uno?" asked Natasha.

I shook my head. "No way. Uno is the game that destroys friendships."

Clint shrugged. "How about Monopoly then?"

Everyone agreed so we started playing it. After half an hour of playing, I was winning. I owned almost half the board and right now I was taking Clint's last money.

"This is unfair." Clint whined. I flashed him an overly-sweet smile and said "Pleasure to do business with you."

Clint grumbled something in response but I couldn't hear what.

Soon, oddly enough, only Steve and I remained in the game. He was now on a portion of the board that I owned entirely. Tony and Clint were rooting for him as I was the one who has taken them out of the game.

"Come on, Capsicle! Just roll 2 of 6 and you're good." Tony encouraged.

"You can do this!" yelled Clint.

"Shut up! I'm trying to concentrate." Said Steve. I watched the exchange with amusement. Steve rolled the dice and… a five and a six! Everyone groaned.

"I win!" I exclaimed.

Tony banged his fist on the table and yelled: "REVENGE!"

"Let's take a break and then we can play another round." Bruce got up from the floor and left, only to return a minute later with a glass of water. Seeing the water made me think of Percy. It's pathetic, I know. I feel like I'm turning into an Aphrodite child. Right now, though, I couldn't care less. My best friend and boyfriend was missing for 2 days now and I didn't have even the smallest trace to follow. What if he won't be coming back? For all we know he could be d- No. I refuse to think that. Maybe he's with his father underwater. Maybe Poseidon had an emergency and Percy had to go there immediately. Even if this is the case (and I hope with all my heart that it is), I don't know because the gods won't answer my dam(n) prayers! Di immortales, was it so hard to answer your kid's prayer once in a while?

Apart from the not-answering-prayers part (which was normal behavior for them, more or less), something was terribly wrong. I had this feeling in my gut that told me there was more to the story than the gods being horrible parents. That's why I decided to go to Olympus. I had business there anyway. I finished Demeter's temple and wanted to show it to said goddess.

"Guys, I'll head out for a bit." I stood up and went towards the elevator.

A series of "Ok"-s and "See ya!"-s were exchanged and I soon found myself walking on the busy streets of Manhattan, heading for Empire State Building, on top of which Mt. Olympus was situated. I smiled at hearing all the noise in the city. This is why Manhattan was nicknamed The City that Never Sleeps. Even at 2 am there wasn't silence. The only exception being when we, the demigods, battled Kronos and Morpheus put the entire city to sleep. I remember finding out that the stupid Seaweed Brain took a dip in the River Styx and then being called outside because people were collapsing everywhere. This reminds me of the prank the Stolls pulled 2 months ago. They somehow put sleeping pills in everyone's food. All the campers (excluding a few in which, sadly, I am not included) woke up 9 hours later with mustaches drawn on their faces and having no idea why they were laying down on the grass.

I was so lost in thought; I didn't notice that I arrived and slammed into a wall. Rubbing my forehead and cursing my ADHD, I walked inside and to the front desk.

"Can I help you miss?" the guard there asked me, not looking up from his magazine. I tried reading what it was about but the letters started floating and I gave up.

"I need the key to the 600th floor." I said.

He looked bored. "There's no such thing, kid. Leave."

"I'm the official architect of Olympus. I have a meeting with Lady Demeter."

He eyed me and I could see that he recognized me. He sighed and put his magazine down. "Look, even if I wanted to let you in, I couldn't. Olympus is in lockdown. Zeus' orders." I glared at him and reluctantly left. A hundred questions were bouncing around in my head. Why would Olympus be closed? Does that have anything to do with Percy missing? I needed to know if what the guard said was true and the easiest way to do that was to contact one of the persons who had direct contact with a god. Well, goddess more exactly. I knew Dionysus wasn't at Camp, but he usually left around the start of the holidays and returned after they were finished. He was due to return today or tomorrow as Christmas has been a while ago, but I didn't have the patience to wait for him to show up or not.

I returned to the Tower and hurried to my room. I entered the bathroom and opened the window to let the sun come in. After starting the shower and creating a rainbow, I took a drachma and threw it in the mist.

"Oh Iris, goddess of the rainbow, accept my offering. Show me Thalia Grace." I recited and the image of a girl with spiky black hair appeared in the mist. She had a silver circlet that symbolized the status as lieutenant of the Hunters and was dressed in black clothes and a silver parka. She was just finishing killing a dracaena.

"Thalia!" I called to the girl. She turned around and smiled.

"Hey, Annie! What's up?"

"First, don't call me Annie. Second, I wanted to ask you a question."

"Shoot"

"Is Artemis with you?" I asked, hoping that she would say yes-

"Nope." Thalia said, popping the "p". "She left 3 days ago and hasn't come back yet. Why?" Of course she wasn't there. Why did my life have to be so complicated? I sighed and told her about Olympus being on lockdown and this probably being connected to Percy's disappearance.

Thalia frowned. "Then I'm going to be careful and see if I can find out some information about what's happening. I'll contact you if I have news."

"Thanks. Bye!" I waved my hand through the mist and the image disappeared. I sat down on the floor and rested my head against the wall. I was angry with the gods. We just fought a war for them and now they pull something like this. Couldn't we get a break? Apparently demigods didn't get breaks. I sighed and closed my eyes. I miss you, Percy, and I swear I will find you, wherever you are.
