Hey, guys! Sorry for the super late update. Hope you have a nice day! Enjoy! :)

Disclaimer: I don't own Marvel or Percy Jackson.

Annabeth POV:

It felt good to laugh a little. I was worried for Percy, of course I was, but there was still a good chance that he was in Atlantis with his father. At least that is what I tried to convince myself.

For the Avengers I was probably looking relaxed. Internally, though, I was going through all the possible scenarios and places that Percy could be in. Once in a time, I laughed at a joke that was said and that was my afternoon.

While I was getting ready for bed, I had the feeling that I won't have a peaceful night. And if my instincts were telling the truth, which they most probably were, Morpheus was going to honor me with some dreams. Yay. Please note the sarcasm.

The thing is, demigod dreams suck. They are never just dreams. They show glimpses of the future or what is happening at the moment somewhere else. They could also consist of your worst memories and make you wake up in cold sweat. Almost forgot about that. Although, I can't deny that sometimes they're useful. For example, in the Second Titan War, Percy kept dreaming about what was happening with the gods and Typhon or with Kronos' army and that helped us a lot. So, in conclusion, prophetic dreams are annoying but they keep us alive.

Anyway, despite knowing all this I couldn't help not falling asleep and that's how I found myself dreaming about my least favorite goddess, Her Bovine Majesty, Hera.

Tony POV:

To say I was frustrated was an understatement. I searched the footage from every existent CCTV in Manhattan for any trace to where Jackson is. Well, JARVIS did but I created him. I stayed in my lab all night, thinking about any possible scenario that could have someone take Percy out of the Tower without anyone noticing.

At around 7am I decided to take a break and get some food. Ok, maybe Banner came and threatened to drag me to breakfast himself if I don't get there in the next 5 minutes. And FYI, I don't want to be dragged to breakfast by a smash-happy Hulk.

At the table I could see everyone was already sitting and waiting. Although, Chase was missing. Probably back in her room. I grinned and said:

"Where's Chase? Needs her beauty sleep, doesn't she?"

Spangles sighted. "You in a bad mood, Capsicle?" I asked.

"As a matter of fact, yes, I am, Stark. I have to put up with you this early in the morning." He replied.

I put my hand over my heart in a mock-offended gesture. "Ouch, Cap. You wound me."

"Good. Someone has to take down your ego so it will be as big as New York, not America."

"Stop it, boys." Said Natasha. "Found anything, Tony?"

I shook my head. "I searched everywhere! There's no trace of him ever leaving the Tower or someone entering."

"Don't worry, Tin Man. We will continue searching until we find him." Said Clint.

"Sir, there is something wrong with Miss Chase." I heard JARVIS say. I frowned and asked what it was. "It seems that she is having a nightmare. I detect high levels of stress."

"I'll go see what this is about." said Natasha and left.

We all waited in a tensed silence for the girls to come. A few minutes later, Annabeth ran into the room, followed by a distressed Natasha. Annabeth stopped near the couch and motioned for Bruce to stand up. He did so and she moved the couch and took a backpack from under it. How did she fit it in there?

"What's that?" asked Bruce, pointing to the backpack.

"Emergency bag" came the short reply.

"And you need one because…" I said.

She looked at me annoyed "It's in case I need to leave hurriedly."

"JARVIS told us you were having a nightmare." I told her.

"I wasn't."

Nat raised an eyebrow at her "When I came in your room you sure looked like you had one."

"I wasn't having a nightmare. I looked like that because I dreamed about a person I highly dislike but that's not important. The thing is, I think I know where Percy might be." She said.

Clint got up from the armchair he was sitting on. "Then what are we waiting for. Let's suit up."

Annabeth held up her hand. "I said he might be there."

"Ok. Then we'll go check it out." Said Steve. I frowned and studied Annabeth. She looked like all she wanted was to get out of here.

"I think she means that she wants to go there alone." I told the team.

"I got that much." Said Nat. "Although, I don't understand why you would go there based on a dream."

"I gotta say, I agree with Romanoff on that one." I said.

Annabeth looked uneasy. She shifted her weigh from foot to foot. "It's… complicated. But I have to go. Alone. Please, guys." Bruce started to protest but she continued "You know I can hold my own. I work for SHIELD for 2 years now."

"She has a point." Said Clint.

Steve still looked like he didn't like the idea. "Come on, pops. Let the girl go find her prince charming. She looks miserable without him."

"Thanks, Tony. A compliment I will treasure forever." Chase replied sarcastically.

Steve sighed "Fine. You can go."

Annabeth smiled and if I had any doubts about siding with her on this, they were gone. She truly loved Jackson. I could tell from her determination to find him.

"Thanks! Bye!" she said and ran to the elevator.

"Well, where's the breakfast you dragged me to, Banner?" I asked.

-One week later-

Steve POV:

It had been one week since Annabeth left to go check out the place she thought Percy may be at. A mission which shouldn't have taken so much time. We were all worried. Especially because she hasn't called or messaged any of us. Heck, I'd even settle for a letter saying 'I'm alive'. Tony spent all day today searching for her on CCTV cameras. He would have started sooner than 3 days ago if not for the super assassins who told him to 'wait a bit more'.

I was in the gym, releasing my frustration and worry by destroying a punching bag. Earlier I had a friendly wrestling match with Nat and then with Clint. Bruce stayed locked in his lab. After the 3rd punching bag went down, JARVIS interrupted.

"I'm sorry to interrupt, Captain Rogers, but Mr. Stark requires your presence in the lounge."

"Only me?"

"No, Captain. He told me to tell the entire team to come immediately." JARVIS replied.

"Ok. Thank you, JARVIS." I said.

"No problem, Captain Rogers." Was the AI's reply.

I started to make may way through the hallways towards the elevator. I hoped Tony found something about where Annabeth was. When I entered the living room everyone was already there. Tony was in the center, the rest of the team either plopped on the couches or on the floor.

"So, what's up? You got a lead?" I asked. Stark just motioned for me to come and sit. I sat next to Clint on the floor.

"I haven't found Chase but I may have a lead." Tony said. "A couple of teenagers have been spotted around the country. I myself checked the places where they were. I don't think it's a coincidence that the same day when Annabeth left, at the Grand Canyon 3 teenagers destroyed the zone and then left mysteriously only to be spotted after a few more days in Chicago and then at a Café in California and a few more places."

Bruce made a pause sign. "Wait a sec. So you think that these kids are connected to Annabeth somehow?"

Tony nodded. "Exactly. At the Grand Canyon, there were a few witnesses. The 3 teenagers' classmates. I went to their houses and asked them a few questions about what happened on their school trip. The weird thing was that they all described different things but they all had in common one thing. There was a fight with another one of their classmates, Dylan. And after the fight, their chaperone and Dylan disappeared and they saw a girl with blonde hair storming towards the trio and then they all left together."

"The girl is Annabeth, right?" asked Natasha.

"I strongly suspect so. From the kids' description I am 90% sure it was her." Tony answered.

I raised my hand. Tony rolled his eyes. "We're not at school, Cap. You don't have to raise your hand."

I blushed but asked the question that was bugging me since the beginning of his presentation. "Who are the three teenagers you keep bringing up?"

"Ah, yes! I almost forgot." He got a remote from the coffee table and pressed a button. The TV lit up and on the screen was the face of a young girl with chocolate brown hair that looked like she let a 5-year-old cut it with safety scissors. This, though, didn't affect her beauty at all. Her eyes were blue and she was smiling at the camera. I felt a sense of deja vú. This situation we were in looked a lot like when Tony informed us of Annabeth's past.

"This is Piper McLean. She-" Tony was cut off by Clint.

"McLean? As in Tristan McLean?" he asked.

"Yes. Exactly as in Tristan McLean. She's his daughter, mother unknown. 17-18 years old and, as reports say, a little thief. She's said to have stolen a lot of things among which a BMW."

"Wow" I breathed. She stole a BMW?

"What's the catch? There has to be one or you wouldn't have told us that because she would have been in jail. Plus, it's irrelevant to what is happening if not for a catch." Said Natasha.

"You're right, Romanoff. There is a catch. Every time a cop asked her how she stole something or why she insisted that she didn't; that she just asked nicely and the person she addressed gave it to her."

"That's strange." Bruce said.

"It is but it gets weirder. She was sent to the Wilderness school where she made friends with Leo Valdez and Jason Grace. The latter becoming her boyfriend." The image on the TV changed. Now it showed a boy, about 2 years old, with blond hair and electric blue eyes and a scar on his lip. "And this, ladies and gentleman, is Jason Grace."

"Why is he 2 in the photo?" I asked.

"That's because that was the last time he was seen…until a few days ago, that is. Jason is the son of Beryl Grace and brother of Thalia Grace, father unknown. His sister is the girl that was spotted with Annabeth oh-so-many years ago. He, his sister and his mother went to a park when he was two and that's where he disappeared. Hs mother declared him dead. A week later, Thalia ran away from home. Then, after 15 years, he appears out of nowhere at the Grand Canyon."

We didn't say anything. I was trying to wrap my head around what had just been said. It was weird even for me and I had been frozen in ice for 70 years for God's sake!

Tony pushed another button on the remote and the image changed again. This time there was a boy with elfish features, brown eyes and brown hair. He had a mischievous smirk on his face. Tony continued.

"This guy over here is Leo Valdez, son of Esperanza Valdez, father unknown. His mother died in a fire that the neighbors said he started. He has been from foster home to foster home since he was eight, running away from each and every one of them. A particularly nice neighbor said that she doesn't think he was at fault with the fire. She said he looked devasted after it happened. Absolutely miserable. Anyway, he's about the same age as Piper and Jason and people say that he's good with mechanics."

"Each one of these kids are missing a parent, either the mother or the father, and at one point they are spotted together, in different pairs, even though they had a chance slim to none to have met as most of them are born in different parts of the world. Luke, Annabeth, Percy; they're from Connecticut, Virginia and Manhattan - sholdn't have met." Said Clint. I agreed it was weird but everything surrounding these teenagers seemed to be so.

"So what we found out means…?" I said because I wasn't sure how this helped us pinpoint Annabeth's location.

"This means that Annabeth has made new friends. We still don't know where she is but at least-" what Bruce wanted to say was lost in the sound of a phone ringing and JARVIS saying that the number was unknown. Tony said to answer and put it on speaker. It was easier this way in case it was a threat and we needed to act fast.

"Hello?" Tony said carefully.

"Tony! Thank the gods you answered. I'm sorry I couldn't call earlier I was a bit busy. Anyway, I wanted to tell you that I'm ok and alive and completely fine. And I have some good news!"

"Chase? Is that you?" asked Tony.

"No, it's Aphrodite- of course it's me!" Aphrodite? What?

"Are you alright?" I asked.

"I will deduce from the fact that Steve heard what I said that I'm on speaker. And didn't you hear a word I said?"

"Um, yeah, sorry." I said.

"You said you have good news." Reminded Bruce.

"Oh yeah. We know where Percy is, for real this time."

"That's awesome!" Clint exclaimed. "Where is he?"

"Can't tell you. We don't know exactly where that place is either."

"Who's we?" Natasha asked.

"Remember the Camp Percy and I told you about?" At our affirmative response she continued. "Well, they were looking for him too. We were all worried. Anyway, there's only one problem. Something you won't be too happy about."

I frowned. I didn't like the sound of that. "What is it?" I asked, dreading the answer.

"I won't be able to come back until late in the summer, I hope. I mean, it shouldn't take longer than that. And if I'm not back by then, well, I enjoyed the last 2 years with you guys. You're pretty cool people."

"You're saying this like you don't know if you'll come back." I said.

"I don't. After we find Percy we go on a mission. A dangerous one. We don't know what will happen."

"Then don't go." Said Tony. He sounded a bit angry but I knew he wasn't mad at Annabeth, he just cared for her.

Annabeth laughed humorlessly. "I wish it were that simple, Tony. There are greater powers at play here. I can't just not go. I don't have a choice."

"The hell you don't! Everyone has a choice." Yelled Tony.

"I'll tell you why I don't have a choice before I hang up."

"That's so we can't say anything after." Said Nat.

"Yes". We wanted to insist but Annabeth was really stubborn. She won't tell us no matter how much we asked.

"Then, good luck, Annabeth. In case we'll never see you again, it was gre-" I cut off Bruce.

"No." I said determinately. "We'll see you again. You'll get through it and if you ever need help, you can call us."

"Thanks guys."

"Take care. And kick some ass for us too." Said Nat.

"Bring back souvenirs!" added Clint, trying to lighten up the mood, although it didn't do much.

"I will, Clint. I will also make sure that I'll destroy some mon-enemies on your behalf. You guys be careful too. Bruce, don't spend the rest of the year in your lab. That's valid for you too, Stark. Steve, I don't want to come back to find all the punching bags destroyed. Clint and Nat, I don't want to hear that you went on all the missions available while I'm gone. Get something else to be a distraction, please."

"Ok" said Bruce.

"I'll try to spare a few." I said. I am not ashamed to say that I had tears in my eyes, just like everyone else, even the 'cold-hearted' assassins.

"There was that series that I wanted to watch. What do you think, Tasha?" Clint asked

"Mm-hm, I agree." Replied Nat, a small smile pulling at the corners of her mouth.

Annabeth laughed softly.

"Don't miss us to much, Chase, and be careful. Also, tell Jackson that he owes us an apology for scaring us the way he did. Alright, Annabeth?" Tony said, trying for a joke.

"Oh, absolutely. When I see him, it will be pretty hard to choose between kissing him or judo-flipping him."

We all said our good-byes. "And about not having a choice: I don't have one because this mission decides the fate of the world. We're gonna save it. See you, guys." She hung up.

"So, just to make it clear, she's going on a mission to save the world?" asked Bruce.

"Pretty much, yes." Replied Clint.

"And what if the enemy wins and they fail to save the world?" I asked.

Tony smirked. "Then we'll sure as hell avenge it."
