TW: Mentions of suicicde.
Forest, Vale Outskirts
In the middle of the night in one of the forests in Vale's outskirts, there was a bright blue flash of light that lit up the area. Anyone nearby would've thought that the sun had suddenly risen with how bright it was. Once the light faded, standing in its epicentre, was the group from Chaldea, consisting of Master Fujimaru Gudako, Heroic Spirit EMIYA, The Irish Child of Light Cú Chulainn, Knight of the Round Table and Sun Sir Gawain, Archer of the Argonauts from Greek Myth Atalanta, and Gudako's Servant The Wandering Samurai Miyamoto Musashi.
"Well, looks like nothing went wrong this time!" Gudako said, relief in her voice.
"That was ONE time, and even then it was Goldie's fault." Cú Chulainn spoke up, referring to the time the three masters of Chaldea and some of their servants had ray shifted to ancient Mesopotamia, The Demonic Front Babylonia, in order to get the Holy Grail placed there and prevent Humanity's Incineration.
"True, but if it wasn't for Archer, Yourself and Kazuki, My brother, Mashu and I would be dead!" Chaldea's only, conscious, Female Master told the Hero of the Spear.
"Lady Mash was a Pseudo Servant hosting Sir Galahad's spirit, I'm sure she would have been alright." Gawain reassured her.
"That's enough standing around, let's go and find out where we are and if Beacon's fallen already." EMIYA told the group, already walking off in one direction.
"Oi, Archer, do you even know where you're going?" Cú Chulainn asked the Servant of the Bow.
EMIYA abruptly stopped in his tracks upon hearing the Irish Hero's words, causing all of the others present to stare at him, "No, no I don't." He admitted.
"Well, I suppose going in any direction as a group is the best thing we can do for now." Musashi said aloud.
"Indeed, Emiya, lead the way." Atalanta said.
And so, the group proceeded to follow EMIYA through the forest. Along the way, they had encountered a few Grimm that were easily dispatched by one of the Heroic Spirits each time they were encountered, as the Grimm might as well have been made out of thin tissue paper against their blades or arrows. After an hour or so of walking, the group eventually came across a settlement, Gudako was relieved and about to waltz right over, until Musashi pulled her back.
"Huh? Musashi, what is it?" The Master asked her Saber Servant.
"Over there, look." The Samurai pointed to the right of the settlement's entrance.
From within the bushes, several glowing orange and red eyes could be seen. At first, Musashi had brushed it off, seeing as how easily they could kill Grimm, that was until she noticed just how many of them there were. EMIYA and Atalanta, using their enhanced eyesight, were able to spot at least two giant snake type Grimm, called King Taijitu, several Gorilla type Grimm, called Berginal, and lastly, your normal Beowolf packs and a small few Ursa.
"Tch, we need to warn that settlement, but we also need to be able to pass off our magecraft as semblances… Shit." EMIYA cursed.
"In other words, we should hold back on our full strength and speed when dealing with those beasts." Gawain stated, getting a nod from Archer.
"I can easily pass off my tracing as a semblance, Lancer, you can go for speed, Gawain, yours would be flame manipulation, that way you can freely use Galatine's power," EMIYA Explained, "Atalanta, We'll have to figure something out for you, and Musashi,"
"Yeah?"
"Basic enhancement" EMIYA finished.
"Alright, let's- hey wait, there's some people coming out!" Gudako told them, pointing as two guards left the gate.
The two guards, who appeared to simply be two of the settlement's inhabitants armed with basic guns, looked to be in their early twenties, one of them was also a wolf faunas who seemed to have become anxious.
"Hey, what's up?" The human guard asked.
"Quick! We need to sound the alarm! There's-!" The faunas guard wouldn't get to finish as the Grimm came bursting out of the forest towards the Settlement's gates catching the two guards by surprise, the human who didn't know he was there and the faunas since they came out so fast.
(Cue: Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works OST: Souls to Fight)
The Grimm came towards the settlement at surprising speeds, the two guards, upon noticing the number of Grimm, appeared to freeze in fear at the sight. Just as an Ursa was about to smack the faunas to the side, it was suddenly impaled through the neck by a sword. Looking over to his right, the faunas guard was just barely able to make out EMIYA who was already knocking back another sword-turned-arrow. Then out from beside him, came Cú Chulainn, bursting forth with immense speed and impaling a Berginal through the chest, his spear, Gáe Bolg, giving off a murderous red glow that sent chills up the two guards' spines.
"What are you just standing there for!? Sound the alarms!" The Lancer Servant shouted at the guards, knocking them out from their stupor as he launched forward towards more Grimm, sending dirt up at their faces.
The two guards then ran back into the settlement to do just that. One of the King Taijitus tried to follow them, only to have its path blocked by Gawain, "You shall not pass me, Beast!" The Knight of the Sun declared, his sword becoming coated in flames as he charged the large Serpent Grimm, swiftly decapitating it. Once he was done, Gawain was about to charge at the second one, only to easily dodge an attack from the King Taijitu's second head.
"It has two heads? Having two heads does not make up for its lack of ability." Gawain said to himself, as a sudden explosion of fire erupted from around him, incinerating the remains of the King Taijitu.
Gudako, despite having Servants to help her, had taken to fighting the Grimm as well, using techniques taught to her by St. Martha and Chiron back at Chaldea. Though she could not take on the likes of a Berginal or an Ursa Major by herself, Beowolves and Ursa Minors might as well have been a random thug on a street. Using Reinforcement, taught to her by all three version of EMIYA at Chaldea by Kazuki's request, she tanked a hit from a Beowolf's claws as if it were nothing before rushing back in at the Grimm and delivering a punch to its eye, causing it to recoil in pain, before she took out a dagger from EMIYA and stabbed in the neck, killing it as the dagger had anti-monster properties. From behind her, an Ursa Major tried to bite her, only for it to get cut in half by Musashi.
"Master, don't put yourself in too much danger! And if you are going to do that, at least watch your surroundings!" She scolded her.
"Right, sorry! Ah damn! I forgot to reinforce my clothing!" Gudako cursed as there were three claw marks in her clothes across her abdomen.
From the trees, Atalanta was hopping from tree top to tree top, sniping Grimm with her arrows. Looking down near the Settlemnt's entrance, she spotted Gawain fending off a few Berginal Grimm. She then focused her eyes on a Beowolf who had slipped past him, taking aim and knocking back an arrow, Atalanta released the arrow, hitting the Beowolf in its head, instantly killing it. She then turned her attention to the second King Taijitu, who appeared to just be watching the battle. Taking aim, she fired off several arrows at it, only to become surprised when the Grimm suddenly burrowed into the ground, avoiding them. Atalanta quickly jumped off her tree as the King Taijitu had come out from under it and knocked it down. Deciding this one was more dangerous than the other Grimm, Atalanta was tempted to use her Noble Phantasm, only to remember EMIYA's words. Atalanta aimed a total of three arrows at once at the Serpent and fired, all three hitting their mark. Despite the power of arrows fired by servants, the Grimm was still alive but very clearly in pain as it let out a roar.
EMIYA looked over and saw the large King Taijitu. He was surprised himself that it was still alive but then saw it trying to retreat. EMIYA's eyes widened upon realizing the King Taijitu's intelligence. Taking aim, EMIYA traced a pitch-black weapon with a few small edges coiling around the thin core, spiraling around it and somewhat curving outward. The Weapon is then surrounded in a murderous red aura, similar to Gáe Bolg.
"Fly, Hound of the Red Plains! Hrunting!" EMIYA announced, revealing the name of the now Sword-Turned-Arrow, as he releases it and it flies off in the direction of the King Taijitu. The Serpent Grimm just Narrowly avoids it and about to try to burrow into the ground, only for Hrunting to have come back around in an instant and hits its mark, taking out one of the King Taijitu's heads. The other head roars in pain but is quickly silenced as EMIYA had fired off a second Hrunting.
Upon its second head hitting the ground, the body of the King Taijitu began to dissipate into black smoke. At the same time, all the other Grimm in the area began to act more erratically, their attacks becoming much more chaotic.
"Just as I thought, that King Taijitu had lived long enough to gain enough intelligence to command other Grimm." EMIYA said to himself, firing off several more Sword-Arrows.
Gawain, after slaying another Berginal, had an idea, "Sir Emiya! Take Lady Fujimaru and get her into the trees, same goes for the rest of you!" He called out.
And just like that, all the other servants jumped into the trees, with EMIYA carrying Gudako in a bridal carry. The Grimm then shifted their focus to Gawain who was about to unleash a powerful attack. Only for all of the Settlement's guards to come out.
"We're here to help!" One of them said.
"Get back in and Close the gate for your own safety, my flames shall not burn them down but you shall not be so lucky if you are caught in them!" Gawain told the guards who were at first confused.
"Are you crazy!? You can't take them all on by yourself!" Another guard told him.
"On the contrary, it is they who can not take me on!" Gawain said as his sword was once again coated in flames.
Despite this, the Settlement Guards did not go back, though this did not deter Gawain from his course of action as he brought Excalibur Galatine under his arm.
"EXCALIBUR GALATINE!" He shouted as he swung the Sacred Sword forwards in one direction, sending off a large wave of fire that turned the remaining Grimm to ashes. All of the Guards simply stared at him in awe at the display of power as the rest of Gawain's companions came down from the trees.
(End Song)
"You couldn't have done that sooner?" EMIYA asked him as they all walked up to the entrance.
"I'm afraid not, I honestly believed that I would not have to." Gawain told EMIYA.
"I thought you said that we need to pass our abilities off as semblances?" Atalanta whispered to EMIYA.
"And we do, it's just that Gawain and I would be the easiest to pass off," he whispered back to her.
"Hey! I recognize you two! You're the guy with the red spear! And you're the guy who shot those swords like arrows!" The Faunas guard from before said, pointing at EMIYA and Cú Chulainn.
"Yeah, that's us!" Cú Chulainn said, twirling Gáe Bolg while EMIYA looked indifferent.
"Y-you guys took on all of those Grimm… and by yourselves…" another Guard, the human form before, said in disbelief.
"How can we repay you?" Another guard, a girl with blonde hair, asked.
"Well… we mostly need a place to stay for a while, our home settlement was raided by Bandits while we were away." Musashi told them, using a cover story EMIYA had come up with when they were in the forest.
"Sure, I don't see why not! By the way, the name's Von!" The faunas guard from before introduced himself.
"And I'm Ki!" The blond Guard introduced herself.
"Ki huh? Well at least some people still use that color naming rule Master told us about." EMIYA thought, "I'm guessing since the likes of Ragna and Jin exist here, there's either no color naming rule… that or some people just don't give a damn."
"And I'm Óir." The human guard from before said.
"His name's just Gold in modern Irish?" Cú Chulainn thought to himself, "Well, My name's Cú Chulainn, Mr. Sword-Arrows there is called Archer, but his real name's Emiya." The irish lancer introduced himself and EMIYA, getting a glare from the counter guardian.
"Sir Gawain." Gawain said with a bow.
"Atalanta." The greek archer said.
"Miyamoto Musashi! But please, call me Musashi." The samurai said.
"And I'm Fujimaru Gudako!" Gudako introduced herself last.
"You two do realize that everyone now thinks your last names are your first names right?" EMIYA pointed out.
"Eh? Oh Right! Sorry about that but my first name is actually Gudako! Sorry for any confusion!" She corrected herself, getting nods from the guards.
"Well come on, we'll show you six around." Ki said, guiding the Chaldeans into the settlement.
Despite the fact that there was a large amount of Grimm outside the settlement, the atmosphere was still extremely up-beat, something that caught the Chaldeans by surprise. Walking around they saw several small stores open, selling things from fruit and vegetables to dust. One shop that caught EMIYA's eye was a weapons shop.
"Like what you see?" A man, presumably the owner, called out to him, "Well, show me your weapons and maybe I can upgrade 'em for ya! For a price of course!" He said as he began laughing. The man was a rather rotund blonde man with blue eyes.
"Uncle! They JUST saved our village from a horde of Grimm! Don't try to swindle any Lien out of them!" Ki scolded the man, revealed to be her uncle.
"I know I know! I'm only messing with them! Though… those are some pretty basic weapons there! Beautiful, but basic. Don't ya want something with more… well, flare to them?" Ki's Uncle asked.
"No, we're fine." Musashi said.
"I could never use anything other than this sword, for it was a gift." Gawain told him.
"This spear was gifted to me by my Teacher, she'd probably kill me if I used anything else!" Cú Chulainn siad.
"My precision with a bow is unmatched, I need nothing else." Atalanta stated.
"I can make any bladed weapon I see, I'm fine." EMIYA told him.
"And what about you, young missey?" Ki's uncle asked Gudako.
"Um… got anything for hand to hand?" She asked.
"I'm afraid not, though I suppose I could make something for you, ya got a design or anything?" Ki's uncle told her
"Not yet! But I'll come to you when I do!" She replied.
"Alright then! The name's Gordes by the way." Ki's Uncle, now known as Gordes, said.
"Didn't Director Gordeolf say his father was called Gordes? Come to think of it… He looks a little similar to the Director." Gudako wondered.
"Alright, Bye Uncle! Follow me, you six!" Ki said, as she led the group further into the Settlement. Eventually, they came across a rather large building that had some words on it that none of them could understand. It also had a picture of a black dog on it, "And this is the Village's Guild! Those of us here who can fight or passing huntsmen can come here to earn Lien by doing bounties or other jobs that have been placed there!" She explained.
"What's it called?" Cú Chulainn asked.
"Black Hound!" She said.
"I already like it!" He said.
Ki turned to the entrance and guided them all in. Only to have to duck as someone was sent flying in her direction. The Chaldeans looked at the person who was sent flying and saw that he had blue hair and dragon wings, he also wore what appeared to be knight armor that had a light blue hue to it. Ki got up and sighed loudly, as the dragon faunas got up, he glared at the person who sent him flying, said person was also a dragon faunas but instead of blue hair, he had golden hair and red eyes, his wings however were dark red. Unlike the blue dragon faunas, this one was shirtless, much to a certain red-headed master's pleasure as she got a full view of his abs, but still wore knight armor on his lower body.
"Try saying that again, Ice-Breath!" The red dragon shouted.
"Oh yeah?! I'll show you Flame Brain!" The Blue Dragon Faunas shouted at him.
"I leave here because I'm told there was a Grimm attack, and I come back to find you two idiots fighting each other?!" Ki shouted at the both of them, causing them to freeze in place.
"Fuck." They both uttered at the same time.
"Arthur, Shimo, why were you two fighting this time?" Ki asked them with a smile, but everyone there knew that smile was fake.
"Uh, well, you see uh…." The Blue Dragon Faunas started.
"Shimo raided my food stash." The Red Dragon, most likely Arthur, said.
"And that was enough reason to send him flying across the guild?" Ki asked.
"Because It was my food..." He muttered.
"That's not an excuse!" She sighed, "Well, we have some new people here who just saved the village, so please TRY to not start a fight with any of them? That goes especially for you Shimo!"
"Why me!?" Shimo complained.
"Because even though your semblance is ice-based, you're a massive hot-head." Arthur said.
The Chaldeans watched the exchange with differing amounts of interest. Cú Chulainn was interested in how strong the two faunas were, Musashi was curious about how strong Ki was to get those two to freeze in place, EMIYA was wondering where the request board was, Atalanta thought that the two faunas were acting like children, Gawain was staring at Arthur, both due to his name and appearance and Gudako was staring at Arthur for a different reason. His abs.
"Right, sorry you had to see that. As you've no doubt already guessed, my name is Arthur, that ice-brained idiot is my brother Shimo." Arthur said, introducing himself to the Chaldeans, and finally noticing the stares he was receiving, "Is… something wrong?" He asked.
"My apologies, you simply reminded me of someone, I did not mean to be rude." Gawain said.
Arthur then turned to Gudako, who was still staring at his abs, "Is she always like this?" He asked.
"Only with shirtless men." Musashi told him, lightly hitting her master on the head.
"Ow! What was that for?!" Gudako whined.
"Because you were staring at Dragon Boy's abs."
"Oh." Gudako said, her face red.
"It's alright, it happens a lot." Arthur said.
"Well, WHY are you shirtless? Again?" Ki asked him.
"Because it's hot as balls, that's why! You know my body temperature is hotter than a normal person's!" Arthur said.
"Well whatever, Arthur, these are Emiya, Cú Chulainn, Gawain, Atalanta, Musashi and Gudako." Ki said to him, introducing the Chaldeans.
"A pleasure," Gawain said.
"Yo." Cú Chulainn said.
"Nice to meet you." Gudako said.
EMIYA and Atalanta simply stayed quiet while Musashi waved. Ki noticed EMIYA looking around and brought it up, "What are you looking for?" She asked him.
"The request board, we sort of… don't have any Lien, we're all broke." He explained.
"Oh." Ki then looked around and pointed to one of the guild's support pillars that had a large board on it with various pieces of paper.
EMIYA then made his way over to it and looked at the various requests.
"I should probably go and get you guys registered first." Ki said as she walked over to the main desk, "Hey, Koy, Kanna." she called out to the two people behind the desk.
"I'm a bit busy, be right there!" A boy called out from behind.
"Oh, Ki! Is everything alright? What was with the alarm earlier?" A girl with blonde hair asked. She had a striking resemblance to Ki.
"It was a Grimm attack, but these guys and the guy by the request board got rid of them all before we showed up!" Ki told her.
"Really?!" The guild girl asked in surprise.
"Yeah, oh, this is my sister, Kanna, she's the girl in charge of approving requests and members." Ki told the Chaldeans.
"Hi, Nice to meet you all. I take it you're all here to get registered?" Kanna asked.
"Yeah, they plan on doing some work to make some Lien, according to that Emiya guy, they're all broke." Ki explained.
"Oh, I see, so I take it you guys are only gonna be temporary members then?" Kanna asked them.
"Yes, that's correct." Atalanta told her.
"Alright then, names?" Kanna asked.
"Atalanta."
"Gawain."
"Cú Chulainn."
"Gudako Fujimaru… man it feels weird saying my name like that…"
"Musashi Miyamoto… yeah, you're right, it feels so off."
Kanna turned to EMIYA, who had come back with a few requests.
"...Archer." He said.
"Hey, how come you prefer to go by Archer?" Ki asked him.
"Personal Reasons." EMIYA responded.
"I see, well that's that, you're all registered," Kanna told them with a smile before turning around, "Hey, Koy! Get some Temporary Member Badges!"
"Yeah, Yeah, I'm on it!" Koy responded.
"Just a moment please! Our brother has been rather busy with other guild members."
After a few moments, Koy came back out with six temporary badges and handed them to each member from Chaldea.
"Alright, now then… um… Emiya, these are… rather dangerous missions, especially if you plan to do them solo…" Kanna told him, Each of the requests being Grimm Extermination.
One of them that was worth 100,000 Lien was a request to exterminate a unique Grimm that the request described as "An Imp type riding a Horse type".
"They all need to be done though, add the reward and it's a win-win, I make the area safer, and we get some Lien in our pockets. Especially the 100,000 one. That's a Nuckelavee, just one of them can take on multiple pro-huntsmen and survive and take out several villages on its own, it's too dangerous to be left alone, especially if you consider the fact that they're only supposed to be in Anima." EMIYA Explained.
The three siblings just stared at him in disbelief as EMIYA had made it sound like he wasn't doing it for the Lien at all, something that was genuinely true. If this scenario had happened a year ago, then it's likely that the money would definitely be a factor in the decision, but after spending time in Chaldea, you could say the Counter Guardian of the Bow reverted to his old self a little bit.
"Well… at least take one of our other members with you just in case… and… because of the danger level of this request you can only take this one on." Kanna told him, EMIYA just scoffed but didn't argue.
"Lancer, Gawain, Musashi, you three will take on another, Atalanta, you can stay here in case more Grimm shows up again." EMIYA told his group.
"Alright, I'll take this one then." Cú Chulainn said, grabbing a request to exterminate a Creep nest. Creeps being a type of Grimm that appears to have aspects of both Lizards and Birds.
"I shall take this one." Gawain told Kanna, grabbing a request for a Deathstalker sighting.
"I guess this one goes to me." Musashi said, picking up a request that had details on a large Beowolf den that likely had an extremely large pack.
"And, who will you all take with you?" Kanna asked.
"Actually, they'll be fine, I haven't seen much of Emiya, but we all saw what Gawain could do, Von also said that Cú Chulainn's spear pierced a Berginal's bone armor like it was paper, I don't know much about Musashi but I have a feeling she'll be fine." Ki told her sister.
"If you say so… so, Emiya, who're you taking?" Koy asked.
"I'll go with him!" Shimo shouted over, slamming his fist into his hand, "It's been a while since I took on a large request!"
"In that case I should go too, he might alert that Nuckelavee to our position if he comes along." Ki said, sighing.
"Alright then, here, off you go!" Kanna said, stamping each request with approval.
The group, minus Atalanta and Gudako, left the Guild building and off to do their respective requests. Atalanta then looked over to the corner of the guild's main hall where she spotted a cat faunas in an orange hoodie. Though his eyes weren't visible, Atalanta knew that the faunas was watching them.
"Gudako, we should leave, that man over there has been eying us." Atalanta whispered.
"Maybe he just thinks we're impressive? Besides, I have you, what's the worst that can happen?" Gudako whispered back.
Gudako and Atalanta looked back at the faunas, only to see him waving them over.
"Well? You may not be my master but you are still a master of Chaldea… what should we do?" Atalanta whispered to Gudako.
"I say we go over to him." Gudako told her.
Though she would rather avoid anything that would cause trouble, Atalanta begrudgingly agreed and the two walked over to the faunas' table. Sitting down in front of him, both now got a view of his face and noticed the eyepatch over his right eye.
"So, you two are from the group that defended this village from a large amount of Grimm are ya?" The faunas asked.
"Yes, that's right." Atalanta said.
"I see… and yer friend here took a hit it seems." He said, pointing out the claw marks on Gudako's clothes.
"Y-Yeah.." Gudako said.
"So, what brings you six out here then?" The faunas asks.
"We're looking for someone…." Gudako tells him.
"Yeah? What's he look like?"
"He has spiky dark-blue hair, his tail and ears are the same color, obviously, he has sky blue eyes and has a ring on his wrist of the same color." Gudako describes him.
"He wouldn't happen to be a mix of a wolf and hedgehog would he?" The faunas asks the two.
"Yes, I suppose he would be…" Atalanta responds, getting ready to draw her bow at a moment's notice.
"Is his name… Kazuki?"
Atalanta grabs her bow and aims it at the faunas, who in turn, now has a short blade aimed at her neck. Everyone in the guild is now staring at the two with mixed thoughts.
"How do you know him?!" Atalanta asks the faunas in anger.
"Because I saw him taking the entrance exam at Beacon, that's why… so, yer one of his friends huh?" He responds.
"Yes! We're his friends! Please, you have to take us to him!" Gudako pleads.
"I think it's unwise to trust this man, for all we know he could be planning to kill Kazuki!" Atalanta warns.
"And why would I want to kill one of my friend's students?" He responds.
"Your friend's student?" Gudako asks in confusion.
"Yeah, I'm an old friend of Beacon's Headmaster, Ozpin." The faunas says, putting his sword back in its sheath, "I was overseeing the initiation and yer friend caught my attention."
"Who are you?" Atalanta asks, still aiming her bow at him.
"Name's Jubei, if you weren't aiming yer bow at me I'd say it was a pleasure." Jubei said.
"You're one of the…." Gudako started.
"Six Heroes, yeah, that's me." Jubei said, "and about your request, sure I'll take you to 'em, I was actually about to start heading back to Beacon myself. So let's wait until yer other friends get back before we head out, alright?"
"Alright! … Actually, do you have a piece of paper and a pencil?" Gudako asked.
"Nope, sorry, Why?"
"I was gonna try to draw out a weapon design… Emiya can only make blades and I fight hand to hand so…"
"Ah, I see, I think I know what you have in mind, give me a second." Jubei said as he walked up to the front desk, before coming back with a pencil and some paper, "Alright kid, let's see what you can come up with!"
With Cú Chulainn
(Cue: Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works OST: Overcome the Myth)
"So? This is the nest eh?" The Lancer Servant said aloud, twirling his spear and catching the attention of all the Creeps in the nest, "Hm… Doesn't seem to be all of you so I guess I can have a little FUN!" He said as he charged forth with immense speeds that would put even the most experienced runners to shame, quickly impaling the first unlucky Creep to be in his path. To his left, three Creeps attempted to attack him at the same time with powerful bites, only to hit air as the Irish Hero had dodged, cutting across their necks with the point of his Spear. Eventually, he had managed to draw a majority of the Creeps out of their hole and he was now facing at least a hundred of the oddly proportioned Grimm.
"Heh, finally! Now I can actually use this!" Cú Chulainn said as he crouched down, placing one hand on the ground and his spear held back at his side.
Gáe Bolg then began to give off a murderous red glow and the Creeps, sensing the bloodlust coming from the spear, began to back away. Though this would not save them, as Lancer gave off a bloodthirsty grin.
"I'll show you… the essence of this Curse…" He started, before bursting forth at a speed that to anyone who wasn't a Heroic Spirit themselves, or at least as strong as one, made him practically invisible, before stopping himself and jumping backwards high into the air. He reeled Gáe Bolg back as a vortex of the red aura from before began to collect at the spear's tip.
"Sharpen your Fangs!" He yelled as he reeled Gáe Bolg back even more, its large murderous red vortex condensing, "Gáe… BOLG!" He shouted as he launched the cursed spear toward the large number of Creeps. As it approached, its tip began to split, forming another spear tip for each individual Grimm. Once it finally hit just one of its targets, a large explosion erupted from the middle, the original, spear tip, catching any Grimm who had been behind rock or debris. Landing back down, Cú Chulainn held out his arm as Gáe Bolg had gone back to its original form and returned to him.
"Well… that takes care of that… MAN it's been a while since I had to use Gáe Bolg like that!" He said with a chuckle as he started to make his way back to the Settlement.
With Gawain
Gawain slowly approached a large cave that was described in the request, though he was not an Archer Servant, that did not mean he could not see far into the darkness of the cave, in it, he saw a large pointed gold object, seemingly floating in midair. However, his enhanced senses as a Heroic Spirit revealed the object to actually be the stinger of the death stalker, Gawain merely closed his eyes with a sigh, before opening them again and walking in. His sword, Excalibur Galatine, lit up, illuminating the entire cave as the Deathstalker screeched, blinded by the sudden light equal to that of the sun.
"You shall claim no more innocent lives, foul beast!" Gawain said as he swung Excalibur Galatine forwards in a sideways cutting motion, flames bathed the sword's blade and as it made contact with the large Grimm, it immediately caught on fire, the Deathstalker screeching out in agony as it was burned alive, alongside the large wound that was brought upon its face by the Holy Sword of the Sun.
"I suppose I should take my leave." The Knight of the Sun said as he began to make his way back to the Settlement, while the Grimm died a slow and agonizing death.
With Musashi
Musashi stood alone in the centre of a large Beowolf den, the bodies of the fallen Grimm dissipating into a Black Smoke. Before her however, stood two rather strange Beowolves. The two were different, yet had one thing in common. The normally present red color seen on all Grimm, was now green. The one on the right, was much larger than your normal Beowolf, in fact, it was about the size of a Berginal. Its bony spines were now a bright luminescent lime-green, along with its eyes. It also had equally luminescent lime-green markings on its body. The Beowolf on the left however, despite being the size of your regular alpha Beowolf, was MUCH stronger, so much so to the point that Musashi would have mistaken it for a low-level servant, and while compared to the average Heroic Spirit, a low level Servant might not be too much of a threat, depending on their Master and their summoning location of course, the fact that a Grimm could match one was worrying. Unlike its Grimm brother on the right, this Beowolf did not have any extra bony spines or bright green ones. Instead, it had Dark Green with glowing black markings all over its body, its eyes being the same shade of green too.
"Can't let that one get out… or the other one…." Musashi said to herself with her guard raised, watching out for any other attacks the Grimm might try.
Then, in an instant, the dark green Beowolf charged at Musashi. She brought one of her swords up to block the attack coming from its right claw and went to cut its head off with her other blade, only for the luminescent-green Beowolf to charge as well, forcing her to jump back. The two strange Beowolves continued their assault on the Saber-Servant with surprising amounts of Coordination. Where one would strike and force the Heroic Spirit to block, parry or dodge, the other would have already started its attack on her. Musashi was clearly struggling to keep the two Grimm away, but eventually decided enough was enough. Suddenly, a strong burst of prana was released from the Servant, causing the two Beowolves to jump back in confusion, the two Grimm being more cautious of the Samurai.
"Well, there isn't exactly anyone else around so I shouldn't have to worry!" Musashi said, before moving forward at blinding speeds and killing the luminescent-green Beowolf. She then turned to the other one, who appeared to be slowly backing away, "Ah ah ah, you're not getting away! Who knows how much trouble you'll cause?" She said, before doing the same to the dark green Beowolf.
(End Song)
Musashi then began to make her way back to the Settlement as the two Beowolves dissolved, "I should probably tell Emiya about these… he was on Remnant before, so he should know more about them, right?" She thought to herself.
With EMIYA, Ki and Shimo
The Servant of the Bow, Guard and Blue Dragon Faunas were all currently in a decimated settlement that appeared to have been recently destroyed. In fact, there were still some bodies lying around. Shimo appeared angry at the sight while Ki was holding her hands over mouth in shock, she nearly started crying when she saw the bodies of a few children. Only EMIYA seemed indifferent to it all.
"All these people… Damnit!" Shimo shouted in anger, slamming his fist against a wall, making it fall over.
"Was there any way we could have saved them….?" Ki asked, looking down.
There was a long silence that had fallen over the three of them, the silence felt as though it would last for hours on end, until Shimo spoke up.
"Hey, haven't you got anything to say?" He asked, his question directed at EMIYA.
EMIYA, in turn, didn't respond and kept looking around, seemingly ignoring the bodies.
"Does all of this not even faze you?" Ki asked him.
"No, it doesn't." EMIYA told them both in a neutral tone.
"Do you just not care then!?" Shimo asked in anger.
"What kind of question is that? Of course I care… but standing here and moping around isn't going to help them, nor will it help anyone else if we don't hurry up and find that Nuckelavee. Once we've dealt with that, then you two can mourn these people all you want." The Servant of the Bow told them. Shimo just gritted his teeth and looked away while Ki looked uneasy at his answer.
"Have you… ever seen something like this before then?" She asked him.
For a few seconds, EMIYA never responded, before finally sighing, "I've seen worse… this place… is nothing compared to that hell…" He said, depressingly. It also sounded as though he was angry, but at what happened, but more so at himself.
"W-what hell?" Ki asked him.
"It was… I don't quite remember actually… All I remember was how it felt… how hot it was… people screaming for help and begging others to save them or their child… and through it all, was one boy. He had orange hair and kept on walking through, even though the fires continuously licked at his body. In it, that boy had thrown away everything of who he once was as he struggled to survive, he even threw his memories of his family away. That fire took away everything, not even the boy escaped as he had thrown away his very self in order to survive…" EMIYA told them both, though he had no idea why he was telling these two strangers this, perhaps, spending time in Chaldea has done more to him than he realized. Both Ki and Shimo were listening very intently at this point, the images of the hell making them both queasy.
"Eventually, he reached the top of a hill that was made from the ashes and rubble of people and buildings… and he fell, right on his back and gazed up into the sky with his cold, dead eyes. It then began to rain, as if God himself was weeping over the loss of life and trying to put out the fires, though all that remained of the fires were a few small flames...then, there came a man, dressed in a black suit. He had spiky black hair and stubble, and he reached out to the boy, with the most beautiful smile one would ever see, and he was crying. He kept on saying thank you over and over again, as if it were him that was saved and not the boy… that smile… would be one that the boy would remember for the rest of his life…. It would awaken something, would I ever be able to smile like that? He wondered as he stared at the man…." EMIYA then turned to face Ki and Shimo, "that boy… was called Emiya Shirou, and that man would become his foster father, Emiya Kiritsugu." He said, shocking them both.
"E-Emiya… your full name...is… Emiya Shirou… isn't it?" Ki asked him, receiving a nod.
"So that's why you're so unbothered by all of this…" Shimo said, looking down.
Then, as if on some sort of cue, the trio heard something approaching… something with hoofs. EMIYA quickly motioned for them to hide behind some rubble of a fallen house. Once inside, the three risked a peek around the corner, and they saw it. The only thing that EMIYA would say about the requests inaccuracy would be the part about it being an Imp riding when it was more like it was fused with one. Ki could barely hide her fear at the large Grimm's demonic appearance. The way the Imp part was hunched over and made some erratic twitches all over its body, while Shimo could barely contain his anger. EMIAY noticed this and raised his hand in an attempt to tell them to calm down, only for the Nuckelavee to let out a loud shriek, forcing Ki and Shimo to cover their ears.
(Cue: Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works OST: Into the Battles)
EMIYA jumped out from behind the cover as he traced his Black Bow and a nameless Sword that was turned into an arrow before releasing it, sending it flying at the Demonic Grimm. Before he jumped, Ki was just barely able to make out two words, Trace On. The Nuckelavee had turned its Imp body away from the projectile but was still grazed. It then let out another short shriek before launching its arms at EMIYA, the arms stretching out to reach him. Only for the Red Bowman to dodge by jumping into the air, letting his Black Bow dissipate into blue motes of light before landing and tracing two more blades in his hands. The two of them were practically identical and had the same symbols of Yin and Yang on them, as if representing the symbol itself, as one blade was Black with a red hexagonal pattern while one was white had what could be described as a white wave pattern. These swords were Kanshou, the black one, representing the Yang, and Bakuya, the white one, representing Yin.
EMIYA charged forth at the large Grimm fusion and brought Kanshou and Bakuya down on its arms, severing them with ease like they were hot knives going through butter. Jumping back, EMIYA glared at the Grimm with a new emotion present on his face. He was smiling, much to the shock of Ki and Shimo. EMIYA then threw the married blades past the Grimm, causing it to look confused and shocking Shimo and Ki.
"Is he gonna fight it hand to hand?!" Shimo asked in shock.
EMIYA then traced a new pair of the married blades as Ki and Shimo only stared in disbelief as they saw the previous Kanshou and Bakuya swing back around and head straight for the Nuckelavee's neck, the only warning the Grimm got, were the sounds of the first pair of married blades whirring through the air before finally coming back and severing the Imp part's head. EMIYA then de-traced the first Kanshou and Bakuya before rushing in at the horse part and swiftly killing it by stabbing it in the bottom of its neck with Kanshou.
(End Song)
"Holy Crap! How did you- What.. HOW?!" Shimo asked as he came back from out behind the cover.
"Emiya, you… took that thing on and beat it so easily… and those swords… can you control their direction as well?" Ki asked.
"No, I cannot, that was simply the properties of the blades. Where one goes, the other will attempt to find it, as such, if I trace a pair and throw them, and trace a new pair, the first two will rush back towards me, or rather, their partner from the new pair." EMIYA explained, "Not all blades are just blades. Some are capable of leveling entrie fortress, while others will always pierce their opponents heart, no matter what." And with that, EMIYA started to make his way back to the Settlement as Ki and Shimo followed him, asking more questions only for EMIYA to ignore them.
The Settlement
"These are amazing! Thanks a lot!" Gudako said with a beaming smile.
"Ah it was nothing Kid. I do owe you and your friends for saving this place anyway, so go on and take them, free of charge!" Gordes told her.
"Well… thanks!"
Gudako had managed to come up with a design for her weapon of choice. They were gun-gauntlets, much like Yang's, only they were slimmer and had hidden blades near the wrist areas. Unlike Yang's, whose gauntlets matched her hair, Gudako's matched her amber eyes. On it was the design of a wolf and a hedgehog. No doubt inspired by a certain someone.
"They look good on ya kid." Jubei said to her, eying the craftsmanship of the gauntlets.
"I agree." Atalanta said with a smile.
"Hey! Ki and Shimo are back!" a voice from outside said.
Walking outside, Gudako, Atalanta and Jubei saw EMIYA, Ki, Shimo, Cú Chulainn, Gawain and Musasahi returning.
"Guys!" Gudako called out to them.
"Yo! Gudako!" Cú Chulainn called out.
"Ah, Lady Fujimaru, I see you have your weapons." Gawain said.
"Looking tough, Ma-uh I mean, Gudako!" Musashi complimented, whilst almost slipping up.
"Hm, not bad, very impressive." EMIYA said to her.
"Woah, now those look cool!" Shimo siad.
"Don't even think about it Shimo…" Ki told him.
"So, yer the rest of the group that save this place, are ya?" Jubei asked them.
"Yes, that would be correct." Gawain said.
"I see, well, I'll wait for ya at the entrance, yer friends have already told me about your little situation and I was about to head to Beacon myself. So I thought, why not help them?" Jubei said, gathering confused looks from the group.
"Don't worry! He's trustworthy!" Gudako told them.
EMIYA, once he eyed Jubei's swords, nodded, "Yeah, I agree." He said.
"Well damn, if you can earn Archer's trust that easily then either you really are trustworthy or Archer isn't, then again, there was that time he-" "Don't you even try finishing that sentence, Lancer." EMIYA interrupted Cú Chulainn.
"Joking, joking! You're just embarrassed cause I kicked your ass in that fight!" Cú Chulainn defended(?)
"Yes, he did, now can we get a move on and collect our rewards already, I'm hungry and I wanna buy some food!" Musashi groaned.
"If Udon was the only thing that my King ever ate, then I dare say your appetite for it matches his…" Gawain said.
And so, the group made their way back to the guild and collected their rewards, saying their goodbyes to those they had met there and trying to get away before Shimo ended up punching someone to challenge them. When they reached the settlement's gates, they saw Jubei waiting there for them like he said he would.
"What took ya so long?" He asked sarcastically.
"A certain Ice-Headed dragon wouldn't stop screaming fight me!" EMIYA told him with a bored tone.
"I'm only messing with ya, I may have only been here for a week but that kid just wouldn't stop challenging me to a fight when he found out who I was." Jubei joked.
"Speaking of, who are you, exactly?" Musashi asked.
"He's Jubei of the Six Heroes!" Gudako told her.
"Huh… thought he'd be smaller…" Cú Chulainn remarked, surprise in his voice.
"And normally people think I'd be taller." Jubei said, equally as surprised as Cú Chulainn by his remark.
"Yes, well, every legend, regardless of age, has its exaggerations." EMIYA remarked offhandedly.
"Wise words." Jubei told him.
"So, are you going to take us to Beacon now?" Atalanta asked.
"Sure sure, but a few questions for ya while we walk." Jubei said as he set off ahead of the group who proceeded to follow him, "So, what're your semblances?" He asked.
"My semblance is the ability to manipulate Flames." Gawain said.
"Speed-based." Cú Chulainn said.
"I just have basic enhancement." Musashi told him.
"I can endlessly reproduce arrows to fire off in either single shots or large volleys." Atalanta said, having come up with an idea for her Semblance.
"How large a volley?" Jubei asked her.
"Very." was her reply.
"I have reinforcement, I can make certain parts of my body or even other people and objects better." Gudako said.
"I can almost perfectly recreate any blade I lay my eyes on, so long as it is a blade only, if it has a gun-mode I can't make it." EMIYA said.
"Blade Creation huh? That's a lot like one of my friend's students. Think he goes by Kazuki… that's the guy yer all looking fer, right?" Jubei asked.
"Yes, that's correct…" EMIYA said, his guard slightly raised, he would rather not have to fight one of the Six Heroes but he would if he had no other choice.
"Alright, one last question fer ya all… Are you all from another world like him?" Juebi asked, causing them all to freeze with surprise.
There was a long silence as Jubei had turned around to look at them all, taking note of their surprised faces. It was then that EMIYA started to chuckle before finally looking back at Jubei.
"Yeah, you figured us out, we're from another world, just like him. Though I am surprised that he's been found out so soon, he didn't outright tell you did he?" EMIYA asked.
"No, he didn't, it was just a single slip-up he made during the initiation." Jubei explained, letting loose a chuckle of his own, "So why're ya all looking fer him?"
"Well… truth be told… we thought he died… no, we saw him die… He faded away, right before our eyes…" Gudako started, tearing up a little, "It's almost been a full year since he died and one of our friends, Arthtur, died with him… then… we picked up Arthur's signal and thought that if… if we find Arthur, we'd find him… right now… we've had no signs of Arthur but you… you've seen Kazuki! So.. Please! Take us to him! We have to find him! Find out how he's still alive! If Arthur's still alive and… why he never came back…" The red-headed Master said, tears now streaming down her face. Jubei was a little taken aback by her story, but at the same time, he believed it.
"Well, I didn't know that… I guess now I have all the more reason to take ya to 'em!" Jubei said, ushering them all to follow him.
"Well, I guess we'll get our answers soon enough… I just hope for his sake that they're good ones…" Atalanta muttered, as the group followed Jubei to Beacon.
Beacon, Team Dorms, day after the Docks incident, Dorm halls
It had been a full day since the incident at the docks, since members of Teams RJNN and RWBY saw the aftermath of Kazuki's fight against the White Fang grunts there, if you could even call it a fight. Ragna had intended to drag Kazuki back to Team RWBY's dorm so that he could make him give answers to Ruby and Yang. Only he didn't find him. When he asked Naoto, he was told that Kauzki had gone to the Balcony to think. Ragna was tempted to go up there after him but Yang had come and told him to wait and see. And so here he was, in front of Tekkadan's Dorm with Ruby and Yang, and Makoto too, surprisingly.
"So… you guys ready to get your answers?" Ranga asked the two sisters and Makoto.
"Yeah… If he won't come to us, we'll just go to him." Yang said.
"Yeah!" Ruby said.
Makoto just nodded. Ranga had noticed that Makoto was a lot different around Kazuki than other people, even Noel and Jin noticed. Around others, she'd always be upbeat and hyperactive, but around Kazuki, she just sorta, calmed down, and looked at him with what Ragna could only assume was pity. He guessed that maybe she was the first person he went to, well, he was about to find out. Knocking on the door, the four of them stepped back. A few seconds later, the door was opened by Kazuki who seemed as if he was expecting this to happen and just resigned himself to it. He then ushered them in as he sat on his bed.
"Okay, you've had plenty of time to think. Answers. Now." Ragna said, breaking the silence.
"Yeah, Kazuki, we care about you and we want to know if something's bothering you, it's not healthy to just keep everything bottled up, ya know?" Yang told him.
"Yeah, if there's any way we can help, then don't be afraid to ask! Team RWBY will come and help you, no matter what!" Ruby said enthusiastically.
Ragna glanced over at Makoto and noticed that she was still silent. He was about to say something when Kazuki spoke up.
"I appreciate it guys, I really, really do it's just… I don't think there's any way for you to help me. None at all." He said.
"Kazuki, Ranga told me that you told him something, something that… made him angry at you for keeping hidden from us.. Even if we can't help you, can you at least tell us what it is you told Ragna?" Yang said, causing Kazuki to send a glare at Ragna.
Kazuki was silent. The silence lasted for what felt like hours, then, just as Kazuki was about to speak up, Makoto spoke.
"I… I know why…." She said, causing everyone there, even Kazuki to look at her in surprise.
"Y-you do…?" Kauzki asked, clearly the most surprised out of everyone there.
"Yeah.. back when you passed out in Combat Class, Goodwitch asked me to bring you to your dorm… when I got there, I thought to myself how I wanted to get to know you better, since, you know, you didn't seem to really actually try making friends. Yeah, you talked with us and everything but, you never seemed to actually want to be friends… I thought that… If I got to know you better, I could change that… then, as if it heard me… one of your Chaos Emeralds just.. Appeared…" Makoto explained, only causing them all to become more surprised and confused, "Then… I touched it and...I saw it… everything, your entire life, Kazuki! I saw it all...or well… most of it… I also saw… how you died…" that last part managed to make everyone there except for Ragna and Kazuki's eyes widen.
"Wait wait wait wait wait! Kazuki's dead?! But he's right here!" Ruby shouted.
"I know that… what I'm getting at is… Kazuki, this… this is your second chance at life right?" Makoto asked.
Kazuki however, didn't answer, he did however mutter something, "Even if it was… I don't deserve it…" Though Makoto would only be able to hear the last part, she walked up to him and looked him in the eyes.
"And would Mordred think that too?!" She asked him, causing him to look a mix of anger, sadness and surprise.
"I don't know! All I know is that I don't deserve it! You saw my life Makoto, you saw the things I've done, the people that died by my hands, so tell me why I deserve a second chance?!" Kazuki snapped at her.
"That wasn't you! That… that Director guy put that collar on you and forced you to do it!" She argued back.
"I see… so you only saw part of it…" He said.
"Part of it? Kazuki what…?" Yang asked.
"The collar eventually became unnecessary, he'd just point and I'd kill, I was nothing more than a weapon to him, then there's Tekkadan… I found a family and I did everything I could to protect them… but in turn, I'd end up taking other people away from their families! I don't deserve a second chance at life. My hands are stained with blood… and I don't mean the blood of those who would threaten innocent and all like that… no, I mean my hands are stained with blood, period!" Kazuki said in a mix of anger and sadness, tears streaming down his cheeks, "Innocent, guilty, all. God knows how many innocent people are dead by my actions! It doesn't matter how long I live, or how many times I come back from the dead! That guilt will never leave! I'm not Archer! I haven't been killing people to the point that I'm numb to it! Or that it'll never come back to haunt me! Even if more people have died by my hand than his, I will never be able to escape the fact that all those people's lives were ended and that the guy who ended them gets to be reincarnated!" Everyone in the room was taken aback at this point, even Ragna, who knew that Kazuki had died and came back to fight some big threat.
"Even so… that wasn't your fault...you weren't even a teenager yet! So how could anyone blame you when those people basically, forced your body to grow and then made you kill people! Kazuki… you've gotten a second chance for a reason… if Mordred… or Jack or your sister found out about this… about you wanting to die… how would they react?" Makoto argued.
"I know perfectly well how! Mordred would slap me across the back of my head with Clarent and call me a coward, my sister would hug me and cry, begging me not to and Jack wouldn't know! I know they would because they did! As you said, this is basically a second life, Makoto! So what makes you think I never tried to kill myself before!?" Kazuki snapped.
The entire room had basically gone silent at this point. They each knew that Kazuki had dealt with some crazy things, even done crazy things… but to not only find out that this was his second life, but also, that he tried to kill himself in his past one… It was all a little too much to take in. So much so that Ruby, in a burst of tears and Rose petals, tackled Kazuki with a hug, sobbing.
"Please! Don't say those things! Even if you don't think your life is worth living.. We do! So please! Don't die…." Ruby said through tears, snapping Kazuki from his own as he looked at her through his own watery eyes.
"I… fine… I'll…. Do my best… just not making any promises… After all, if I were to choose between you guys and myself… I'd choose you guys!" Kazuki told them, only for Ruby to continue to sob, "F-fine.. I'll do my best, I… I promise I won't die, by my own hands or someone else's, I won't let anyone kill me." He told her.
Ruby then smiled through her tears and said two words, "Thank you!" Then, in Kazuki's eyes flashed a scene, a rather recent memory too, in fact. They were in Beacon's main hallway only it was lit aflame. Fire was everywhere and people were running, screaming as Beacon was overrun by White Fang and Grimm. And in the middle of it all, was Kazuki, who held Ruby in his arms. Blood was leaking from her mouth yet she was smiling through tears, looking up at a panicking and crying Kazuki, her last words to him… "Thank you..."
Kazuki's mind was brought back to reality by Makoto who had shaken his shoulder as apparently, he had been hugging Ruby rather tightly. "O-oh, sorry…" He said as he let her go.
"Hey, you better stick to that promise, you hear me? If you don't then… I'll just bring you back and kick your ass myself!" Yang told him.
"Yeah, right, as if you could!" Kazuki joked.
"Kazuki… We're serious here… don't do anything stupid and get yourself killed… okay?" Makoto said to him.
"Yeah, I promise." He said with a smile, though unlike his previous ones, this one was… different, it was brighter and seemed to be much more genuine than any of the other ones. If anything, it seemed to light up the room. Even Ragna couldn't help but crack a small smirk of his own.
"I know he hasn't exactly told them but… I don't actually think I have it in me to say anything… ya know, somehow… I think things will turn out okay in the end…" The Reaper thought to himself.
"So Bright…" Makoto thought with a blush.
"Holy crap.. Well Ruby, it seems you might have some competition for the brightest smile!" Yang joked, but even she couldn't help but feel like she was looking at the sun itself.
Ruby herself only stared at Kazuki like a small child seeing a giant man for the first time.
Then, Ragna's face went back to being serious, with one question he meant to ask before.
"Hey, I know that the mood just became better and everything but I've got one question for you. How exactly did you die?" The Reaper asked as everyone's smiles then died down at the dark change in subject.
"How?" Kazuki started, "I… gave my life to protect everyone… that bastard…. If I failed to stop him then God knows what would've happened… All I know is this… I have only one regret in my sacrifice… Even though I had expended all of my energy and did something that guaranteed my death… I was still able to see them all one last time before I died… My regret…. Was that I had to leave Mordred, my Sister, Jack, Jalter Lily and Lily….. Everytime I trace Clarent, those final moments flash before my eyes and I see their crying faces…" He told them.
"So wait… when you said that I remind you of your sister… that wasn't you saying she was dead but…. That you wished you were still alive with her…." Ruby said.
"Y-yeah… you figured it out…" Kazuki said, "I suppose that's half- right…" He thought.
"But that's not all, is it?" Yang asked, though said it as a statement.
"I guess." Kazuki said.
"Well… then what else is there?" Ragna asked.
"Well… Makotom after seeing my life… What ideas did you get?" Kazuki asked the squirrel faunas.
"When I saw Tekkadan… I was confused… Confused as to why there were giant robots and how nobody had ever mentioned them…. But then… when you were dragged to Chaldea through a portal… Sure I was even more confused but… I could only think of one answer…." Makoto told them, "You're… from another world, aren't you?"
"Yep! Which is also why I don't have an Aura. Honestly, I'm surprised you got it on your first guess." Kazuki confirmed.
"So he wasn't lying afterall…" Ragna said, remembering what Mephiles had told him.
"Wait! Then how do you do those things with the weapons?!" Ruby asked.
"Well… that's what's called Magecraft." He said, with bright smile
Before anyone could even ask what, Ruby had already started asking a million questions per second while Kazuki just laughed like a goofy idiot. Once Yang had calmed Ruby down, Kazuki went into a detailed explanation, or rather, they all thought it was detailed, on his Magecraft that he learnt from Archer.
"So… wait… the whole reason you can make weapons perfectly is because your Origin and Element are both Weapon?" Ragna asked.
"Yep, that about sums it up, don't forget about the Magic Circuits, those are what the aura sensors are detecting in Combat Class." Kazuki told them.
"So wait… then which is better? Magic Circuits or an Aura?" Ruby asked.
"I'd say Magic Circuits are objectively better. If you have Magic Circuits, you can do a variety of things that Aura can't. At the same time however, Aura can constantly heal and protect you until it runs out, and there are no dangers of overdoing things with it other than, I guess, exhaustion." Kazuki explained.
"Then what are the dangers of overdoing things with Magic Circuits?" Makoto asked.
"Well…. I guess I'll use Archer as an example here… Archer used to have perfectly normal skin, Amber eyes and he was also ginger… He overused his Magic Circuits so much that it damaged his body, turning his skin a tan color, his hair a snow white and his eyes a steel silver… he was quite literally damaging his nerves by overusing them. A person's Magic Circuits, just like aura, must be awoken." Kazuki said before continuing, "Earlier in his life, Archer was what you'd call a Third-Rate Magus. The dumbass ended up using his Nervous System as a place to awaken his Magic Circuits… as you can guess, you're not supposed to do that. Thankfully mine were awakened properly so I don't have to worry about waking up one day with a streak of white hair… I think…. Even though Kiritsugu was technically a proper magus, he still looks rather similar to Archer…." Kazuki muttered the last part.
"And all those other people you told us about? And those stories, none of them were true?" Ragna asked.
"Oh no! They are, all of them… or rather, most of them… See, Mordred, and a majority of the others at Chaldea, were these things called Heroic Spirits. A Heroic Spirit is a person who has made enough of an impact on Human History that they get recorded in The Throne of Heroes. Even some Fictional people like Sherlock Holmes, James Moriety and Sasaki Kojiro were recorded, despite having never actually existed. The same goes for Doctor Henry Jekyll and Hyde. Though he never existed, he was known enough to the point he would get recorded, that, and there was still a real person that the characters were probably based on." Kazuki explained, "Granted, even though it's called The Throne of Heroes, not everyone there is a Hero. James Moriety and Jack the Ripper are two examples. James Moriety was a criminal mastermind and Holmes' Arch Nemesis. Jack the Ripper was a serial killer… though she was more so a culmination of children who were… left by their mothers and wanted to return to the womb. Well… that's the Assassin Class version of Jack the Ripper anyway, no idea what the Berserker version is like."
"Wait? Assassin? Berserker?" Yang asked, confused.
"Oh right, there are a total of 13 Servant Classes that can be summoned by a Magus. Saber, Archer, Lancer, Rider, Caster, Assassin, Berserker, Ruler, Avenger, Alter Ego, Moon Cancer, Foreigner, Shielder. Only one Heroic Spirit belongs to the Shielder Class and that is Sir Galahad of The Round Table. The King of Knights Artoria or Arthur Pendragon corresponds to all classes except for Avenger, Moon Cancer, Alter Ego and Shielder." Kazuki said.
"That's kind of overpowered…" Ruby said.
"Which is why you can normally only ever summon a Servant as one class… but Chaldea isn't normal…"
"So then that means that you had different versions of King Arthur walking around." Makoto said.
"Yeah, about…. fifteen versions…" Kazuki said.
"FIFTEEN!? Yang exclaimed.
"Yeah, though that's mostly because of these things called Alters. Basically an Alter is… kind of a What-If version or a single aspect of a Heroic Spirit that was manifested. The King of Knights has a total of four, the Saint of Orleans Jeanne D'Arc has one too. Jeanne belongs to the Ruler Class, so her Alter belongs to Avenger." Kazuki explained further.
"Okay, and how are they summoned?" Ragna asked.
"Well… Chaldea has a summoning system called The Fate System that utilizes this thing called Sheba which is connected to Alaya and therefore The Throne of Heroes. They also have a summoning room with a magic circle in it to perform the summons. And before you ask, Alaya is basically Humanity's Collective Unconsciousness and selects people to become Counter Guardians by offering a contract to those who have the capacity to be a Heroic Spirit but left no mark on History." Kazuki explained, the Chaos Emeralds appearing and showing several different images, acting as a magical slideshow, "A Heroic Spirit, or Servant as they're most commonly called, require a Master. Chaldea had a total of 42 Masters before an act of Sabotage happened that ended up killing 33 of them and fatally injuring another. Chaldea's A Team or The Crypters were just stuck in stasis, well all of them except for Mash who ended up fusing with Galahad's Spirit Origin and becoming a Pseudo Heroic Spirit, hopefully I don't have to explain what that actually is. Then there are Fujimaru Ritsuka and Gudako, the two of them were lucky enough to survive and became Masters… on Chaldea's first mission, they encountered me and I was promptly recruited and I became a Master." Kazuki explained, the Chaos Emeralds showing Singularity F and Chaldea's only two Masters and Pseudo Servant encountering him, "Then, I performed my first Summon and who did I summon?"
The image in the Chaos Emeralds changed, in it, everyone saw Kazuki standing before a tall man in Red and Black. He had snow white hair, tan skin, and eyes of steel silver.
"I summoned Archer, a Counter Guardian… and I couldn't have asked for a better first summon, thanks to him, I was able to summon even more Servants with ease via the use of Catalysts. Although all of Archer's Projections were fakes. They were still usable and as such, I was able to summon Artoria Pendragon, Cú Chulainn as a Lancer Servant, Medusa the Gorgon, Sasaki Kojiro, Medea the Witch of Colchis and Heracles." Kazuki said.
All of the other four present in the room stared in awe at the sight of these beings. All of them exuded an Aura of power and Authority that they could feel even through the images.
"When I was alive, I had gone with them to many different Singularities and Summoned countless other Heroic Spirits. In fact, I alone was the Master to the entirety of the Knights of the Round Table with the exception of Galahad. Why, I had even gone so far to Summon two versions of The King of Heroes Gilgamesh and managed to summon The King of Conquerors Iskandar the Great!" Kazuki said with a big grin plastered on his face as though he were a child on christmas morning.
The Chaos Emeralds showed two men, one was adorned in full Golden Armor with a royal, blood red waist cape and had slicked up Golden Hair and Crimson Red Eyes, while the other one, who dwarfed the Golden Servant, wore Red Armor with Gold Accents and wore a large red royal cape. He had Red hair and a Red Beard, his skin was tan, though not as much as Archer's, and he had Crimson Red eyes too. While the man in Gold had a bored look on his face, he exuded a level of Authority that made the group in the room shiver, while the other one seemed to give off a feeling of confidence that was contagious, as if simply looking at him was enough to convince anyone that they could do anything.
"Between all of the Kings and Queens that were summoned at Chaldea… Iskandar would be one who I would've gladly served. He was a conqueror, yes and while to some people that would make him a villain… he was like no other ruler. Arthur rid himself of his humanity to serve his country and people. Gilgamesh was Tyrant until Enkidu came into his life. But Iskandar? He would Rule his own country as a young man and go on to conqueror most of the world! Even to the Kingdoms and Countries that he conquered, no one would be left behind. If the enemy king had fallen in battle, Iskandar would allow his enemy's retainers to become his own, if the enemy King lived, he would give them the chance to serve under him!" Kazuki told them all, praising the King of Conquerors, "Hell, his Noble Phantasm is a Reality Marble that lets him call upon his army from life, The Ionian Hetairoi is not your normal Reality Marble, not that there is one anyway, for each and every soldier, tactician and person in it… are their own individual Heroic Spirits and yet… they chose to continue to serve their King even in Death! Each and every one of them swore their allegiance to him, to continue to fight by his side! His army when he went against King Darius the Third was outnumbered as Darius had an Army Ten Thousand strong… and after Isakandar had won, he had offered Darius' men a place amongst his own army! And they took it! If Iskandar and Darius' armies were to face again, it would be Darius who is outnumbered, a hundred thousand to one! There is no one who I would rather serve than him." Kazuki said with the biggest smile any of them had ever seen him with.
"Damn… after that speech, and even some of the things your emeralds have been showing us, even I want to fight for him!" Ragna said.
"Honestly? Same Here!" Yang said, raising her fist into the air.
"He's so cool!" Ruby said excitedly.
"He sounds so awesome!" Makoto said, raising her own fist into the air too.
"Well… It's hard not to like him! Anyway… I think that's enough questions and answers for now, for now, I'm kinda hungry! So whaddya say we go get something to eat? My treat!" Kazuki said.
"OH YOU BET!" Makoto and Ruby said in unison as they rushed to the cafeteria.
"Hey, just remember, if you ever have any problems, come to us, okay?" Yang said before following after Ruby and Makoto.
"You didn't tell them the truth." Ragna said to Kazuki when he was sure the other three were gone.
"Yeah… I know…" Kazuki said, his smile having disappeared.
"Well… So long as you aren't completely lying to them, I'm sure they'll find out soon enough. Just don't try to pull that same crap again, alright? Oh, and Hurry up and tell Makoto how you feel, would ya?" Ragna said with a smug grin.
"Wha- oh shut up would ya?! Go and Make sure that Ruby doesn't accidentally break anything, I'll be there in a bit." Kazuki said.
"Sure sure, I got it." Ragna said as he left the room.
Kazuki then turned to face the window, the Chaos Emeralds having disappeared and his mind occupied. He had a somewhat sad but not quite depressed look on his face. It was more solemm than anything.
"Dammit… I really am the worst, aren't I, Arthur…? You almost had my head when you found out about me and Mordred and here I am catching feelings for another version of Makoto…" He said to himself, cracking a smile. Kazuki then felt his scroll vibrate. Taking it out, he saw he had a message from Naoto. Reading it, his face hardened and he clenched his free hand into a fist.
The Message read, "Since you ran off somewhere last night before I could talk to you and since I couldn't find you today, I'll just do this instead, it's kinda more discreet anyway… I encountered Hazama alongside Ruby and Makoto yesterday when we were looking for you and Blake. Ruby then blurted out his resemblance to Kazuma… What do we do?"
Beacon's Courtyard
Naoto and Kazuma were heading back to their dorm after being out in Vale for a while. They had been looking for Torchwick and Hazama but had no such luck. After getting off the Bullhead, Naoto saw Noel and Weiss talking about something. He was going to ignore it but Kazuma walked over to them.
"Hello, Weiss, Noel." Kazuma greeted.
"Oh! Kazuma! How are you?" Noel greeted back.
"Hello, Kazuma." Weiss greeted.
"I'm doing fine, what about you two? Naoto told me what happened yesterday…" Kazuma told them.
"Oh… right… that…" Noel said, looking down.
"Kazuma, you're on Kazuki's team, what exactly is he like? Behind closed doors?" Weiss asked.
"Behind closed doors? Well I'm actually not in our dorm a lot but when I am he's most certainly a lot quieter than with everyone else, he seems to be constantly thinking hard about something and I often see him shake his head, as if saying no to someone." Kazuma explained.
"I see…"
"Perhaps we should keep a close eye on him then." A voice said to them, looking in the direction it came from, it appeared to be Jin.
"Jin?" Kazuma asked, surprised by his sudden appearance.
"Don't forget about me." Kagura said, walking up to them with Hibiki.
"Oh and Kagura… great…" Naoto said, sounding unamused.
"Jin, do you mean to spy on him?" Weiss asked.
"Of course, we all know that there are things about Kazuki that are…. Unnatural to say the least. Add to the fact that he's had to be confronted multiple times now for truths and we only get part of them. There are things he's hiding and there must be a reason why. Those reasons and… Yukianasa has been reacting strangely around him." Jin explained.
"Reacting strangely, how?" Kazuma asked.
"I'm not quite sure, it just seems to repeat the word him over and over again. I have no idea if him is referring to Kazuki or something else." Jin told him.
"I see… perhaps it's not reacting to Kazuki but the purple Chaos Emerald?" Kazuma suggested.
"I thought that too, but then I remembered that the beast inside the emerald has a name, so it must be someone else it's referring to." Jin said.
"And you wanted Hibiki because of his semblance, so he can spy on Kazuki?" Kagura asked.
"Yes, that's right." Jin said.
"I see, I shall see what I can find." Hibiki said, before leaving the group.
"Well now we wait, though perhaps we can do a bit of our own spying as well." Jin suggested.
"I have an idea." Kagura said.
"And what is it?" Weiss asked.
"Well, I fight him, and I don't mean in the sense that The loser has to reveal all secrets, no I mean I fight him and figure it out from there. Have you ever heard the phrase, A Warrior speaks with his fists?" Kagura said.
"Oh, now I get it! You're gonna feel if he's still hiding some things!" Noel said.
"Exactly, I'm gonna push him to his very limit in order to get him to reveal what he might be hiding." Kagura told her.
"In that case, I want you to back him into a corner… see if you can force him to start chanting some words." Jin told him.
"And what words am I looking for?" Kagura asked, slightly confused.
"Anything with a relation to weapons."
Beacon, Forest
(Cue: BlazBlue Chrono Phantasma OST: Black Aggression)
"I'm not exactly sure why you wanted to challenge me to a fight but hey, you insisted… that and Ruby wanted to see how you fight with that giant thing." Kazuki said to Kagura.
"Well, I just wanna see what a Beacon student can do, especially one that's gotten Jinny's interest." Kagura said with a confidant smirk, ignoring the glare sent his way by Jin.
"Okay! You two ready!?" Yang shouted out.
Both Kagura and Kazuki nodded at once.
"BEGIN!" Yang called out.
In an instant, Kazuki vanished from sight, catching everyone by surprise before appearing behind Kagura and bringing down a large Silver Great-Sword for an overhead strike. Kagura manages to react in time and holds his large zweihander in a reverse grip to block the great sword, but is slightly pushed down from the force behind the strike as he was not expecting Kazkui's attack to be so heavy. The Hybrid-Faunas pushes down even harder and a large crack appears underneath Kagura. Not wanting to have to hold back the attack any longer, Kagura angles his sword to the side a bit, causing Kazuki's sword to slide off and cut into the ground beside Kagura's feet. The Black Gale goes to smack Kazuki in the face with his Zweihander, only for Kazuki to let go of his sword and pivot his upper body away from the slash before tracing a new weapon, this time he traced a short Black sword with a red hexagonal Pattern and a White wave patterned sword, Kanshou and Bakuya. Kazuki then rushed in at Kagura, using Kanshou to push Kagura's Zweihander out of the way and went in for a stab with Bakuya, landing it right over Kagura's heart before jumping back.
Kagura was eyeing Kazuki carefully, making a mental note to not underestimate the faunas' strength or speed. Then, to the surprise of everyone, Kazuki threw Kanshou and Bakuya at Kagura, both swords circling through the air. Quickly, Kagura smacked Kanshou away with his own sword and moved his head to the side in order to avoid Bakuya, though it still grazed his cheek.
"Okay… pretty crafty, but also pretty stupid!" Kagura taunted, his face becoming serious when Kazuki traced a new pair of Kanshou and Bakuya, "Right forgot you could do that… huh?" Kagura said as he noticed Kazuki's smirk, he chanced a glance at where his team and the other teams were watching to see their eyes wide, then he turned around, only to be met with the previous Kanshou and Bakuya inches away from his face, just barely ducking in time.
As the first pair of Married Blades passed over him, Kagura rolled to the side just as Kazuki slammed down on his previous position with a Black Sword that had chains on its cross-guard. Kagura then made his move as he thrust his Zweihander towards Kazuki, getting it in between him and his own black sword, before swinging upwards and sending Kazuki into the air. Still in front of the Zweihander's blade, Kazuki was dragged through the air before being slammed down onto the ground with large force from the Black Knight, creating a dust cloud, Kagura brought his Zweihander back, holding it in a reverse grip and awaiting Kazuki's next move.
In the stands, Yang, Makoto, Ruby and Ragna were slightly worried, remembering how Kazuki didn't have an aura, only to then notice a bright blue light coming from the dust cloud. Kagura, raised an eyebrow but stayed on guard. Then, from inside the dust, came Kazuki's voice.
"You may have the nickname of Black Knight Kagura in Atlas…. But let me show the sword of a real Black Knight!" Kazuki's shouted

(Cue: Night OST: Clamour of Heaven and Earth)
"O' Distant King, Witness this Light!" Kazuki chanted before jumping out from the dust cloud, his sword being a pristine silver with Gold decoration and the chains gone, the blade glowing a bright blue.
Kagura brought up his Zweihander to block the attack but then pivoted his body to the side, noticing how the air seemed to warp around Kazuki's sword.
"Arondight… OVERLOAD!" Kazuki shouted as he swung the sword down towards where Kagura was, the sound of a chainsaw cutting the air and leaving a large blue slash mark in the air. Then Kazuki jumped back away from the light, Kagura was about to do the same, only for the light to explode violently, sending Kagura flying towards some trees and destroying a large portion of the ground. On the Aura Metres that Yang was observing, she saw that Kazuki's aura (read; Prana) had gone down a large amount, but Kagura's aura was now below the halfway mark.
"Things REALLY aren't going according to plan right now…" Kagura thought to himself as he got back up, noticing how Kazuki was rushing at him with the same sword.
Kazuki let out a loud shout as he brought Arondight down upon Kagura once more, no longer surrounded by a blue light. Though Kagura had managed to block the blow, The Black Gale was unable to find an opening, as for everytime Kazuki swung and Kagura blocked, the faunas sent either a punch or a kick towards his opponent. Eventually, Kagura had managed to swing his sword upwards, sending several small black and purple fireballs at Kazuki who backed away from them. When one got too close, Kazuki would slash at it with Arondight, destroying them.

(Cue: Fate/Apocrypha OST: Before Dawn)
"Okay… you're REALLY damn tough… I think it's time I got more serious.." Kagura said as he brought his Zweihander up above his head.
"Time for the big Finish!" Kagura announced, his voice booming with power as his sword was coated in black and purple fire, rising up into a pillar.
"Heh, I guess you're right!" Kazuki shouted, de-tracing Arondight and replacing it with the Great sword from before, holding it in front of his face with both hands.
"The Evil Dragon Shall Fall, and the World will reach its Sunset-I will Bring you Down!" Kazuki then twisted his hands slightly and a blue gem appeared on the sword's hilt. He raised the Great-Sword above his head slightly, a giant turquoise Beam of light emitting from the blade and parts of the ground rising up around him.
"No way, he's going to use that here?!" Mai asked in shock.
"It appears so… and Kazuki's sword… What is it?" Tsubaki wondered.
"This is crazy!" Ragna shouted.
"It seems I underestimated him!" Jin shouted.
"THIS IS SO AWESOME!" Ruby shouted excitedly.
"Black Dragon's Sky-Rending Blade!"
"Balmung!"
Both Kagura and Kazuki shouted in unison, both of their voices booming as they brought down their blades, their respective beams colliding against each other in a struggle, fighting for supremacy. Then, slowly, Kazuki's Balmung began overpowering Kagura's Sky-Rending Blade. Both fighters let out one last roar of power before finally, Balmung's beam completely enveloped both Kagura and his attack. The attack shot forward until it slammed against a large boulder, destroying it and sending up a massive amount of dust and dirt.
(End Song)
"OH SHIT!" Kazuki cursed as he rushed over to Kagura. When he got to him, he saw the Black Gale just barely keeping himself awake, "Sorry! I got so caught up I forgot to tone down Balmung even more!" He apologized.
"Y-you were holding back!?" Kagura shouted in astonishment.
"Well if I wasn't then Beacon would've got caught in the crossfire and destroyed…" Kazuki said.
"Holy shit… what was that anyway?" Kagura asked.
"That was Balmung. A Great-Sword used by Siegfried the Dragonslayer, he used it to kill the Evil Dragon Fafnir and as such, the sword has anti-dragon properties… and since your attack was called Black Dragon's Sky-Rending Blade…. I think you can guess why it lost…" Kazuki explained.
"Holy shit…. You're something else, you know that?" Kagura said, pulling himself up, stopping and noticing Kazuki holding out his hand.
"Need help?" Kazuki asked, a cocky smirk on his face.
"Ha, yeah." Kagura said, taking Kazuki's hand as he was pulled up, "You barely gave me any opportunities to attack!"
"And you managed to dodge Kanshou and Bakuya, even though they were both a literal inch away from your face! Not to mention you took attacks from both Balmung and Arondight and you're still in one piece!" Kazuki complimented.
"Huh? They both that dangerous?" Kagura asked.
"Well… yeah…. I could've also just used Arondight on your Sky-Rending Blade and cut it in half with ease, seeing as how Arondight is also an anti-dragon Noble Phantasm."
"Uh.. what's a noble phantasm?"
"I am NOT explaining it all again, ask Jin or someone else." Kazuki said, waving his hands in the air.
"I'll do that later, but right now, whaddya say you and me go for a drink? That fight was something else, I could use one!" Kagura suggested.
"I'm up for it… but no alcohol, I'm a really light drinker…" Kazuki said.
"You've drunk before?" Makoto asked.
"You've gotten drunk before?" Yang asked, walking up to the two.
"Yeah, I let Lancer convince me to have a few drinks… I got shit-faced drunk after two pints apparently… and blacked out after four…." Kazuki said, a little embarrassed.
"A drunk Kazuki… now that's hilarious!" Yang said, bursting out in laughter at the image.
"It's all fun and games until you're told after that you and another drunk were flirting with each other…"
Yang then continued to laugh even harder and even Makoto and Kagura had burst out laughing too. All the while Kazuki stood there, embarrassment written all over his face as he begged them to shut up.
"Sorry, sorry, it's just… YOU! Being Drunk! And Flirting!" Yang said, still laughing.
"So we're making fun of lightweights now?" Ragna asked sarcastically.
"Yes, there's about three lightweights here." Kazuma said, referring to himself and pointing a finger at Ragna.
"Point that finger somewhere else…"
A few hours later, Beacon Visiting student Dorms, Team KKMT's Dorm
It had been a few hours since Kazuki and Kagura's match. Now, all of Team KKMT, Jin, Noel, Weiss and Blake were all in Team KKMT's dorm, waiting for Hibiki to tell everyone his findings.
"Alright, Hibiki, lay it on us." Kagura said.
"Well, there wasn't too much to find out, however, there is one major thing I must point out." Hibiki started.
"And that is?" Jin asked.
"Kazuki doesn't seem to have an aura." Hibiki said, gathering shocked looks from everyone.
"Now hold on a minute! How could he have no aura?! We all saw him make weapons out of literally nothing, then there's his speed and strength, I felt all of that first-hand. How could he do all that without an aura?!" Kagura questioned, trying to wrap his head around the new revelation.
It was then that Jin remembered Kazuki's choice of words for a specific person, and said something "Magic…." He muttered.
"What? Jin, did I hear you right?" Weiss asked.
"It's the only explanation I can think of... Why Yukianasa always acts strange around him, his Noble Phantasms, those Chaos Emeralds… That Archer's reality marble…" Jin said, aloud this time.
"If what you're saying is true, then it may be best that we confront him directly about it." Tsubaki suggested.
(Cue: Fate/Apocrypha OST: Insanity of a Dominator)
It was then that the group heard a large explosion come from Beacon's courtyard. Rushing out there, they saw Kazuki facing off against a man in red and black with silver hair and tan skin, looking to the tan man's left, they saw a lion faunas with two tails aiming her bow at Kazuma, while Naoto was busy defending off a woman duel wielding katanas.
"What's going on!?" Weiss asked, shocked, and readying her rapier.
It was then that she, Jin and Noel each recognized the tanned man.
"Archer…" Jin muttered.
"But wait.. Why are they fighting Kazuki?" Noel asked, shocked and afraid for her friend.
Kazuki deflected another slash from Archer's Kanshou and kicked him back just as the Servant was bringing Bakuya down for a swing, "Damnit Archer! What the hell are you doing?!" He shouted.
"I should be asking if you know what you're doing… Master." Archer said, getting into a stance.
Author Notes: Ok so first off… I'm sorry that I didn't follow the upload schedule that I set myself but I kinda got a job and now I can only really work on this story every two weeks since my job requires me to wake up for half 5 in the morning one week and every Saturday, but needs me to be there for 14:15 every day the next week… So I guess what I'm saying is don't actually expect any kind of schedule to this story, it's all gonna be completely random. Also yes, I still suck at writing fighting scenes and yes, those OCs at the start were slightly inspired by Fairy Tail, as such, I might make a story involving them both in RWBY and Fairy Tail, which is funny since I kinda came up with them on the spot then and there. Okay bye, and see you whenever the next upload is.
