Ed smirked and whispered his plan to Alphonse.
"Y-You sure you want to catch a g-ghost?" Al asked uncertainly.
Ed grinned. "I'll rip her apart; molecule by molecule!"
Al drew a circle; Ed clapped, and the "ghost" was caught.
"Let me amend that." Ed lifted her up. "Fox girl."
"Reiko." The fox turned into a human girl. Ed didn't even blink. "You aren't surprised?! You're supposed to be all: Augh! What happened to your body?!"
Ed pointed at Al, who lifted his head.
"Woh-kay." Reiko said, satisfied. "That explains it." She leapt to her feet. "Well, shall we?"
Ed got in the way. "Not so fast, foxy! Did you forget your promise?"
Reiko gave him an innocent look.
"You miniature poodle! Apologize!"
Reiko snarled, and showed her teeth, or rather, fangs. Al fell back a step; Edward balked, but stood his ground.
