Context: Kakyoin was the best student in Mistral by a long shot and had an ability that was very different than the rest of Remnant. Most people barely see it and the advanced technology couldn't see his ability clearly so people would barely know what happened when Kakyoin attacks. Kakyoin was very good that he was a one-man team. Kakyoin was a good kid and didn't want to hurt the people around him. But Salem approached Kakyoin and was afraid. He wanted to run away but it felt like he was paralyzed. Salem's charisma had afraid Kakyoin but he was convinced to join Salem's group by brainwashing him to order Salem's aura by a flesh bud to control Kakyoin. After that, Kakyoin acted differently and had a menacing yet charismatic look. Salem's order was to wait for the Vytal festival and capture the silver-eyed warrior, Ruby Rose to Salem. Kakyoin didn't get a lot of information but he only had that information on hold. It was the day of the Vytal festival and although Kakyoin didn't join the fight, he went there to find Ruby Rose.

After Emerald had exchange conversations with Team RWBY, Mercury and Emerald bumped into Kakyoin, who is wearing a green jacket and pants, cherry earrings, red hair, and wearing some sort of very long white cloth around his neck. He was also holding some sort of canvas.

Emerald: "Oh. Hey, Kakyoin."

Kakyoin: "Hello. So I guess the person you are talking to is Ruby Rose?"

Mercury: "Yep. And they are the bestest of buddies am I right?" Mercury said, joking with Emerald.

Emerald: "Like never."

Emerald looked at the Canvas to see a very poorly drawn Ruby.

Emerald: "Um. Why do you have that?

Kakyoin: "It's supposed to be for show for what I am about to do to Ruby."

Mercury: "Wait. You are thinking of attacking Ruby now?"

Kakyoin: "Anything wrong with that?"

Mercury: "Dude there are people everywhere and it'll just bring military here."

Kakyoin: "I am only going to scratch her and then when she and her team are alone, I'll fight."

Emerald: "Just, don't get into too much trouble."

Mercury: "It's your grave."

Mercury and Emerald walk away from Kakyoin. Kakyoin follows Ruby and her team, only to find JNPR and RWBY next to each other just finishing off their noodles.

*I think I should attack them now since they are finished.* Kakyoin thought.

Kakyoin swipes the drawn Ruby on the legs with his brush and when Ruby is just relaxing, she felt a bump from her leg, she is off-balance and before she crashes on impact, she was stopped by Kakyoin, who grabbed her before she could fall.

Kakyoin: "Very sorry Ruby but it seems like you fell."

Ruby: "Um yeah. Thank you."

Kakyoin put her back up and Weiss had a shocked expression on her face, almost looking like she was in the presence of God himself, while Yang was mostly entranced by Kakyoin's looks, and not knowing who the young fellow is.

Yang: "Um. I'm sorry hot-stuff but who are you?"

Weiss: "You don't know him?! He is literally Noriaki Kakyoin! He was the best fighter in Mistral so I heard." Weiss quickly bows as Yang just looks at Weiss very awkwardly.

Pyrrha: "Oh yeah now I remember."

Kakyoin: "I'm very sorry to disturb you guys but I'll take my leave."

Blake: "You don't want to stay?"

Kakyoin: "I want to explore Beacon and I don't want to bother you but here is something to remember me by."

Kakyoin sees Blake with an ice cream that she had just bought for herself with a little cherry on top.

Kakyoin: "Hey. Do you mind if I take that cherry? I don't mean to be greedy but cherries are my favorite."

Blake: "Um, sure?"

Kakyoin: "Thank you."

Kakyoin grabs the cherry and plants it in his mouth. He begins to lick around the cherry with his tongue.

Kakyoin: "Rero, rero, rero, rero, rero, rero, rero, rero, rero, rero, rero, rero, rero, rero,rero, rero, rero, rero, rero, rero, rero, rero, rero, rero, rero, rero, rero.

Yang just stares as he licks the cherry.

Yang: "Weird but attractive."

Kakyoin: "Why thank you for that comment. Oh, before I forget."

Kakyoin gives Ruby a handkerchief with green triangles on the sides.

Kakyoin: "Your wound seems to be cut badly."

Ruby looks at her leg and sees a very deep cut on her leg.

Kakyoin: "Take care."

Kakyoin takes his leave and Team RWBY goes to the ER to take a look at the cut at Beacon academy. Team JNPR was called to fight in the Vytal Festival.

Yang: "How did you get that cut, Ruby?"

Ruby: "I don't know. I felt a bump in my leg and the next thing we all know, my leg started to bleed badly.

Weiss: "Why didn't you use your aura to heal it?"

Blake: "Probably because she was defenseless and couldn't heal it on time. It looks like a cut that'll take days to recover."

They heard the door open to see a female doctor come out.

Doctor: "Well let's see the wound."

Yang: "We'll join in."

Blake: "Is it ok for us to bring our weapons?"

Doctor: "While I wouldn't allow it, you are representing Beacon academy so yes."

Everyone is in and the room had windows and the room was such a big open space. There are also two other people who were critically injured.

Doctor: "I don't always have people come over here since everyone has aura but now I can finally do something. Now hold on while I treat the other patients."

The doctor goes to get a thermometer to check the patient's cold. Ruby tries to get up but sKakyoin's handkerchief falls onto the ground.

Weiss: "I'll get that."

Weiss grabs the green handkerchief but is suddenly shocked and drops it.

Blake: "Is something wrong?"

Yang: "Is there something on there?"

Yang went to grab it and unfolded it and is shocked as well.

Ruby: "What does it say?"

Yang: "Um. It says, "Ruby Rose, I will kidnap you and kill your friends with my stand! -Noriaki Kakyoin."

Blake: "What? You're joking."

Weiss: "She's right. But why would Kakyoin do such a thing? And what the heck is a stand?"

Patient 1: "Wait, doctor! Why are you holding a pen uncontrollably?"

Team RWBY quickly looks at the doctor to see the doctor holding a pen weirdly.

Patient 2: "What are you doing?"

Doctor: "What does it look like? I'm trying to check your temperature."

Patient 1: "With a pen?"

Doctor: "Does this look like a pain to you!? You dumbass!"

Team RWBY looks at the doctor, wondering what the hell is going on, but they all see a strange line going up to the doctor. The doctor pressed the pen up to patient 1's eye and the patient screams in pain. The doctor turned to Team RWBY who are all shaken up by what had transpired.

Doctor: "Does this look like a pen to you guys too!?"

The doctor aimed towards Ruby but was stopped by Yang who is holding the doctor's arm. Yang had a serious expression on her face but the doctor's hand went toward Yang and was overpowering her.

Yang: "How is she this strong against me? This isn't just a regular woman's strength. Did y'all see something crawl up to her?"

Blake: "Yeah. But what is it?"

Ruby: "Should we knock her out?"

Weiss: "We shouldn't. We don't want to harm her until we know what's going on."

Blake: "Do think it's possible that maybe this was Kakyoin's doing?"

Weiss looks at Blake, about to scold her for coming to the conclusion before being interrupted by the man that Blake accused.

Kakyoin: "Precisely."

Everyone looks at the window to see Kakyoin on the window, calmly sitting down with a puppet in his hand.

Ruby: "Then stop this!"

Kakyoin: "Is that such a way to say hello to a friend? Oh, and nice to see you again."

Blake: "Look, stop before anything can get more ugly."

Yang is holding off the doctor, putting her into a full nelson, while Team RWB* are readying their weapons on Kakyoin.

Kakyoin: "Hold on for a second. My stand is controlling that woman. If you hurt me, you hurt that lady as well."

Weiss: "Why would you do such a thing? You are the best at Mistral and you hurting people that you are supposed to protect."

Kakyoin: "I shall not say. And if you attack my stand, you also hurt the woman as well."

Yang: "Just what in the hell are you doing here?"

Kakyoin: "I already told you, I am supposed to take Ruby away and kill you all if you get in my way. My stands name is Hierophant Green. I am a man that has no aura unlike everyone and I swear my loyalty to her. Therefore, I shall kill you all!"

Blake: "Wait, who's her?"

As Kakyoin says his line, the doctor begins to get stronger by pushing it into Yang's face. Yang sees something inside and flings the pen away from the doctor and her arm.

Yang: "I am very sorry for what I am about to do."

Yang throws away one of her gauntlets and begins to put her hand down the doctor's throat and eventually grab Hierophant green. Kakyoin was shocked by this.

Blake: "It seems you got it out, Yang."

Yang nods as she shivers from feeling all of the salvia on her hand.

Weiss: "It doesn't seem to do much. How did you become the greatest student in Vauco with this?"

Yang: "Let me drag it out of her."

Yang begins to pull Hierophant Green by the head and it pressured Kakyoin's forehead.

Ruby: "So that is your stand? It looks like a dull melon."

Kakyoin: "So, you can barely see my stand? That'll be good but y'all are going to regret getting Hierophant Green out of her."

Kakyoin begins to grunt because of the pressure Yang was giving.

Yang: "Don't try to act tough now. I can see the finger marks on your forehead. Blake, can you give me my gauntlet?"

Blake: "Sure."

Blake grabs Yang's gauntlet and putting it back to Yang's arm.

Yang: "I bet I could crush it right now and you'll be here again to recover."

Weiss: "We'll take you to Ozpin to ask who ordered you to take us out."

Team RWBY were in front of Kakyoin as Hierophant Green was behind Team RWBY on Yang's grip. Kakyoin comes down into the room and the window behind him suddenly shut. But what was stranger was they heard liquid behind them. Team RWBY look behind them to see green fluids come out of Hierophants hands.

Ruby: "What is going on?"

Yang: "I don't know."

Kakyoin: "I already told you that you'll regret it Team RWBY. Now face my stand's attack!"

Hierophant Green slowly brings its hands up.

Blake: "Don't do anything suspicious Kakyoin!"

Hierophant's hands come together and green fluids clash to each other. Hierophant puts up its hands up and the green fluid starts to come together. But when its hands began to turn, emeralds came out everywhere.

Kakyoin: "Emerald Splash!"

The emeralds were everywhere and Team RWBY try to block it but were overpowered by it. They quickly get knocked back to the door they came from and got up slowly. Kakyoin began to walk forward and saw Team JNPR next to Team RWBY.

Kakyoin: "What did y'all think of the performance?"

Pyrrha: "Ruby, what happened?"

Kakyoin: "Let me explain. As you heard, that attack was called the Emerald Splash. What looked like the body fluids of my stand, Hierophant Green, was a vision of destructive power. Y'all are lucky to have aura because it would have mortally wound you but it could have pierced through it too. And that doctor..."

Kakyoin looks at the doctor, who was laying upwards and starts to bleed out, becoming unconscious. Team RWBY and JNPR is in shock by this.

Ruby: "What the? Yang was sure to have it come out."

Kakyoin: "I already told you, attacking my Hierophant would mean hurting her. My stand has a long-range of a hundred meters but it doesn't like open spaces. It prefers to hide within something. If you drag it out, it'll be angry. That's why, when Yang came for her throat, it hurt her. It's your fault, Yang! This is your responsibility! You did this! If you had let me kidnap Ruby and let y'all get away calmly, then the doctor wouldn't have been hurt."

Jaune: "You are trying to get Ruby away? You're evil."

Kakyoin: "Evil? Evil refers to the loser. Justice refers to the victor. The last man standing."

Ren: "You are speaking nonsense."

Kakyoin: "Then we shall fight."

Team RWBY and JNPR try to move to Kakyoin but they all seem stuck in place.

Nora: "What's happening?"

Kakyoin: "Look below you."

Everyone looks below them to see Hierophant's transparent body cover their legs. Kakyoin chuckles.

Kakyoin: "My Hierophant Green has now covered you up while we were talking."

Ruby quickly uses her semblance to get her out of Hierophant's grasp and rushes to Kakyoin. Ruby was using her scythe to cut Kakyoin. Hierophant Green took the hit for Kakyoin and they start bleeding, sending him back a bit. Hierophant stops trapping RWBY and JNPR. Everyone runs to Ruby and quickly prepares to fight.

Kakyoin: "Y'all have speed. But my Hierophant Green will win."

Hierophant slithers its way in front of Kakyoin and spread out its strands to try to hit RWBY and JNPR. Ruby, Yang, Nora, and Ren all dodge the strands while Weiss and Blake deflect the strands, and Jaune and Pyrrha use their shields to try and block them. The girls try and rush in but keep getting attacked by the strands. Yang looks around and spots a chair. Yang kicks a chair to Kakyoin while dodging but Hierophant tore up the chair easily. Jaune was having a difficult time trying to block them and was eventually wrapped around his body. Pyrrha stops to look at Jaune. Hierophant is in front if Kakyoin is preparing to attack.

Kakyoin: "Now taste this! Emerald Splash!"

Multiple Emerald's flew around everywhere and caught everyone off guard. Pyrrha protected Jaune from the Emerald's by using her shield while everyone was hit by the Emerald splashes. Kakyoin chuckled. Jaune and Pyrrha got up while the rest were struggling to get up.

Kakyoin: "Y'all aren't fast enough nor strong enough to take lots of hits by the Emerald Splash. Now again! Emerald Splash!"

Pyrrha quickly puts her hand up in the air and the Emeralds suddenly stopped and launched back to Kakyoin. Kakyoin was hit by multiple of his Emeralds and starts to bleed. His puppet was launched back.

Kakyoin: "Impossible! No one can just deflect the emerald splash!"

Pyrrha: "You don't know what my semblance is! It was a good thing that I was able to change it course to you because a few more hits would've probably beaten us. "

Kakyoin is in shock and bleeding but he tightened his fist.

Kakyoin: "I'm not going to give up so easily."

Kakyoin's white cloth wasn't on Kakyoin anymore and rushed to the nearest window and bust through them. Everyone was in shock of what Kakyoin did. Hierophant Green used its strands to swing around Kakyoin.

Weiss: "He's getting away!"

Blake: "Ruby, use your semblance to follow Kakyoin."

Ruby: "I'd love to but it'll take some of my energy to get to him and I don't know if I can win against him."

Ren: "Then we'll hold onto you when you use your semblance."

Nora: "Good idea! Pyrrha would face Kakyoin and win this battle!"

Everyone huddled up to Ruby.

Jaune: "Ready?"

Everyone nods. Ruby uses her semblance to get out of the window and searches for Kakyoin. Ruby couldn't find him and stopped using her semblance. They were on top of one of the towers.

Yang: "Tired Ruby?"

Ruby: "Yeah... I was carrying 7 people!"

Blake: "I'll try to look at the top of the academy."

Blake used her gambol shroud to grapple the top. Just when Blake had gotten off the floor, she tugs a strand, and suddenly, multiple Emeralds came towards her. Blake's eyes widen as she turns to where the sound was coming from, she tries to dodge but gets hit by them. Blake lands next to her teammates and they were in shock. Jaune was in shock and steps back and multiple Emerald's come to Jaune and hit him from the back. Blake and Jaune's aura is flickering.

Ren: "Everyone stop where you are."

Everyone pauses and looked carefully around their area. Some top of the buildings were broken but none had fallen yet. Even though it was barely visible, they saw Hierophant's strands cover around everywhere Team RWBY and JNPR are in.

Nora: "This is-"

Kakyoin: "That's right!"

Everyone looked up to see Kakyoin on top of Beacon academy. They were 8 meters away from Kakyoin.

Kakyoin: "This is Hierophant's barrier, which activates when touched, completely surrounds you all for 20 meters in every direction! There is no escape!"

Everyone feels terrified about Kakyoin's barrier. Ruby's semblance wasn't fast enough against the Emerald Splashes, Blake couldn't dodge the attacks either, Yang could use her semblance but that would be a time-waster and Jaune couldn't dodge or block every direction. There are 3 options the teams could do.

Option 1: Use Weiss's rapier to trap them and figure out a plan to hit Kakyoin.

Option 2: Pyrrha uses her semblance to knock back every Emerald to try to hit Kakyoin.

Option 3: They try to be fast by using their bullets to hit Kakyoin.

Kakyoin: "Take this! 20-meter radius Emerald Splash!"

Weiss immediately places her rapier down and covers her teammates around with ice. The Emeralds hits the ice but the ice didn't crack.

Kakyoin: "That is pretty strong ice the Schnee has. Then I guess I'll hit it more! Emerald Splash!"

Kakoyin points at the barrier as more emeralds keeps on hitting the ice.

Ruby: "Good job Weiss. Now we need to think of a plan."

The ice barrier starts to show it cracks as Kakoyin keeps ordering more emeralds to rain down on the ice barrier.

Jaune: "I think I got one. Pyrrha can deflect the Emeralds, Nora would knock out the strands using the lighting dust with Ruby. Weiss will help Pyrrha by trying to dodge the attacks while I charge Pyrrha's aura and then everyone will fire at Kakyoin."

Yang: "Good plan Jaune. The only problem we have is speed but that's why we have Pyrrha."

The ice shatters and Kakyoin smiles and strikes a pose.

Kakyoin: "Now that you all are now out of the ice, I shall take you all out! 20-meter radius Emerald Splash."

Multiple Emerald Splash came out but was deflected by Pyrrha's semblance. The Emerald's hit the strands and more Emeralds came towards them. Jaune is standing beside Pyrrha and using his semblance on her aura. Weiss gave Nora a piece of her thunder dust and Nora was full of energy. Ruby grabbed Nora and tries to maneuver around the Emeralds. Yang, Blake, and Ren started to fire shots at Kakyoin, but the Emerald's were getting in the way at firing Kakyoin. More Emeralds still fired at Pyrrha and Jaune's aura is running out. Pyrrha was distracted by Jaune and Kakyoin didn't want to waste this opportunity.

Kakyoin: "20-meter radius Emerald Splash!"

Weiss quickly backed up Jaune and Pyrrha using her semblance. The Emeralds hit the tower and caught them off balance. Yang, Blake, and Ren had no choice but to move around to get clear ground to hit Kakyoin. Blake moved but was pulled by strands and Emeralds came towards her. Blake used her semblance to get away but was more Emeralds came to her and hit her. Blake fell down and more Emeralds fired at her until her aura had been depleted and fell down to the ground. Yang took Ren and maneuvered around easier than Blake did but it was a little difficult since the strands were thin and barely visible. They landed on the tower next to Kakyoin to the left. Weiss used her semblance to keep her, Jaune, and Pyrrha from taking critical damage when they get to the ground. Weiss felt something that was bending and Emeralds came towards her, Jaune, and Pyrrha. Weiss braced herself but the Emeralds didn't hit her. Pyrrha used her Semblance to push the Emerald's away from her, Weiss, and Jaune.

Weiss: "Guys, walk up the building!"

Weiss pointed her rapier to the wall and multiple Schnee symbols were on the wall. Pyrrha and Jaune ran up the tower next to Kakyoin to his right and made it back safely without touching the Emerald's nor the strings. Weiss wasn't so lucky as she touched one of Hierophant's strings and multiple Emerald's hits Weiss. Weiss's aura is depleted and fell down to the ground. While all of this is happening, Ruby was maneuvering the strands and Emerald's as quickly as she can with Nora. Ruby was getting close to Kakoyin when suddenly Pyrrha had deflected the Emerald's, it had triggered one of the strands, and Emerald's came quickly to Ruby and Nora. Ruby was hit by it and her aura was depleted leaving Nora to head towards Kakyoin. Ruby fell on top of the building Kakyoin was on and Nora reached Kakyoin and he was shocked by Nora's expression.

Nora: "I'm going to make your legs broken!"

Kakyoin quickly had Hierophant Green appear in front of him and Nora swung her hammer into Hierophant Green to their right. Kakyoin was sure to he had heard his rips shattering. Kakyoin spat out blood and was launched away from everyone. Kakyoin had stopped at the nearest tower closest to where Kakyoin was. The barrier was still up. Nora walked to Ruby who is knocked out.

Nora: "I don't know if you can hear me Ruby but we are going to win this battle and the doctors will treat everyone's wounds."

Ruby was still silent and Nora looked at Kakyoin. Yang had her eyes wide open.

Ren: "We should probably head to Nora to group up."

Yang nodded and leaped to Nora and Ren grappled up on the tower to Nora.

Yang: "Is she ok?"

Nora: "She's fine. Just, a little scratched."

Ren: "We should finish this so that we can heal ourselves."

Nora: "I will be sure to break Kakyoin's leg."

The barrier was getting weaker and Kakyoin could barely move.

*They were really no pushover. This was my grand attack. But I shall obey Salem's order.* Kakyoin thought.

Kakyoin stood back up, not leaning to the tower. He looked up to see Yang, Nora, and Ren on top of Beacon, looking furious. Kakyoin laughed.

Yang: "What's so funny?"

Kakyoin: "Nothing. It's just that if I lose, that makes me evil and y'all winning for justice. I can't bear the thought of y'all winning this battle."

Yang rushes towards Kakyoin. Yang's fist was getting close to Kakyoin's face when she was stopped. She felt Kakyoin's strands cover up her arms and legs. Kakyoin chuckles.

Kakyoin: "Did you forget that I have my Hierophant Green? I can still move him even when I put up this barrier."

Yang struggles but was let go.

Kakyoin: "Emerald Splash!"

Multiple Emeralds come out of Hierophant's hands and hits Yang. Ren and Nora hides behind the tower. Yang's aura depletes and was falling to the ground. Ren came forward and rushed to Yang. Ren caught Yang and placed her where Ruby is. Nora poked out of the building and fired her weapon at Kakyoin.

Kakyoin: "Emerald Splash!"

Multiple Emeralds came out of Hierophant Green's palms and hit the grenade bullet. Nora ducked fast enough to not get hit by the Emeralds.

Nora: "Ren, what are we going to do?"

Kakyoin: "Thinking about a plan huh? Don't you know that I can fire my Emerald's toward you! This will finish you off! Again, 20-meter radius Emerald Splash!"

The Emerald's came forward to Ren and Nora and there was no escape for them. They had gotten hit by it and their aura's are now depleted. Kakyoin does a pose.

Kakyoin: "You all shouldn't have been my opponent."

Jaune: "Oh yeah?"

Kakyoin turns around to see Jaune rushing to Kakyoin and rams him. Kakyoin falls down to the ground and looks at Pyrrha and Jaune.

Kakyoin: "But how? I saw you both and Weiss fall down."

Pyrrha: "Weiss helped us with that. We began to run on this tower-

Jaune: "And we waited for the right moment to attack."

Pyrrha: "I don't know if I should let you live or not but we are going to hurt you like hell."

Kakyoin chuckles. Kakyoin stands up and Hierophant Green appears in front of him. The barrier wasn't there anymore. Jaune and Pyrrha got ready for the next moment.

Kakyoin: "Justice belongs to the winner. Bring it on."

Pyrrha, Jaune, and Kakyoin stand in silence, waiting for their enemy to attack first. They hears one of the towers fall to the ground and Jaune charges with his sword to Kakyoin.

Kakyoin: "Emerald Splash!"

Multiple Emeralds come to Jaune but as they had gotten close Jaune, Pyrrha uses her semblance to knock the emeralds back to Hierophant Green. Hierophant moves away from the Emeralds, leaving the Emrald's stuck on a tower next to them. Kakyoin looks back at Jaune swinging his sword to cut Hierophant. Hierophant Green ducks under but his mask was cut off. Kakyoin coughs up blood. Jaune stumbles to the ground and Hierophant Green covers Jaune up with its strands. Pyrrha stands in shock.

Kakyoin: "I'm not just going to put him hostage. I'm going to take control of him and make him fight you!"

Pyrrha just stands in silence. Kakyoin was confused but he just starts laughing.

Kakyoin: "Pyrrha, don't think about this too far. You don't want to hurt this guy do you?"

Pyrrha: "We have aura. We can heal ourselves up and with the technology we have, we'll probably recover fast. From what I can see, you don't have aura. Do you even have a soul?"

Kakyoin: "Hierophant Green is my soul! I'm not going to waste my time explaining to you when this person. Emerald Splash!"

Pyrrha uses her semblance to deflect the Emeralds and was sent back to Kakyoin. Kakyoin had a surprised expression on his face and the Emerald's hit him in the chest and forehead, sending him flying into a tower. His ribcage was broken and blood came out of his forehead and some bare muscle came out of his head. Noriaki Kakyoin chuckles to himself before slowly passing out. Pyrrha runs over to Jaune.

Jaune: "Thanks Pyrrha. Without you, we would've lost and Ruby would have been kidnapped."

Pyrrha: "We're just glad that his stand wasn't that durable. Those Emerald's were fast and strong. I'll call Ozpin to get our teammates."

Pyrrha grabs her scroll, which was scratched up and the screen was shattered and called Ozpin. A bullhead comes flying at Jaune and Pyrrha. The teams rest and recover in the hospital, healing. Kakyoin needed surgery for his ribcage. The surgery was a success as Kakyion woke up in the hospital bed and he looked around to see Team RWBY and JNPR, Ozpin, and Ironwood. Kakyoin explained what happened to him and Ozpin was shocked by this.
