Context: It's a continuation of Strength. Team RWBY and JNPR hid their weapons when they are waiting for land. Kakyoin tried to be sneaky and tried to see what was hiding on the boat to make sure they weren't preparing for a secret attack. But it failed because Team RWBY and JNPR saw a transparent ghost thing trying to slither to them. The Stardust Crusaders were surprised and immediately pulled out their stands before RWBY and JNPR explained they were friends. They called back their stands and lets them talk. Team RWBY and JNPR explain how they got here and told them about the fight with Strength. Some of the Stardust Crusaders were convinced and impressed to hear that they defeated a stand user, but Jotaro doesn't buy it. Jotaro told them to show their powers to see if they are telling the truth. They first convince them with their aura. Jaune pulls out his sword and tries to cut himself, but he regenerated. Next was their semblances. They all used their semblances for different scenarios. Jotaro was very convinced and told them that they are trusted. But The Speedwagon Foundation workers were terrified. Joseph calmed them down and told them that they can leave when they got to land. After many conversations between the Stardust Crusaders and Team RWBY and JNPR about trying to get Team RWBY and JNPR back home, the Stardust Crusaders allowed them to join the group. After a long time, they reached shore and told Team RWBY and JNPR to get cases to hide their weapons. They are already sticking out with having weapons at hand. They got their cases and hid their weapons in their cases. The Stardust Crusaders, RWBY, JNPR, and Anne are in the hotel, checking in.
Desk Clerk: "I'm terribly sorry, but we are rather full at this time of year. The rooms won't be next to each other. Is that all alright?"
Old Joseph: "Well, I guess we don't have a choice. Then for the rooms, Avdol and I are going to share a room."
Kakyoin: "Jotaro and I will share a room, since we are both students."
*They are students!? They look like adults to me!* Team RWBY and JNPR thought to themselves shockingly.
Jotaro agrees to it.
Old Joseph: "And you guys?"
Yang: "Um, me and Ruby. Since we are sisters."
Weiss: "I guess Blake and I would get a room together."
Pyrrha: "Nora and I shall get a room."
Nora leans to Pyrrha.
Nora: "C'mon Pyrrha. Why can't I have a room with Ren?" Nora whispers.
Avdol: "Then that leaves you two together. Ren and Jaune. Since you know each other after all."
Old Joseph: "That would mean the last room would be Polnareff and..."
The Stardust Crusaders, RWBY, and JNPR all looked down at Anne, seeing as she is the last one to choose to be in a 2 people room. Anne looks shocked to realize that she has to be in the same room as Polnareff.
Anne: "You're joking! Like I'd room with him!" Anne complained.
Polnareff: "What?"
Anne starts to annoy Polnareff.
Old Joseph: "Well, she is a child but also a lady. Could you make it 12 rooms?"
Desk Clerk: "Sure." The Desk Clerk says surprised.
The Desk Clerk hands them their keys. 1122, 1212, 912, 1010, 6009, 4010, 2003, 8011, 7002, 5023, 3001, and 14029. Polnareff grabs a key.
Polnareff: "Hmph. I can relax more in my own room anyway. Nothing would suit me better!" Polnareff said proudly.
Polnareff walks away. Team RWBY and JNPR gave him a shocking look. Polnareff looks back.
Polnareff: "Let's go. We've been through hell since we left Hong Kong. Let's hurry up and take a shower where it's safe." Polnareff said confidently.
The Stardust Crusaders chuckled and grabbed their keys and walked with Polnareff. Weiss looks at the Stardust Crusaders confusingly.
Yang: "Well, this is a weird friendship bonding."
Weiss: "You tell me! I mean, this guy name Polnareff sounds cocky while the others are cool with it." Weiss said, confused.
Ruby: "They're probably best friends. Wait, Joseph! What is Hong Kong!?" Ruby said in awe.
Ruby yells as he approaches Old Joseph. Old Joseph chuckles before giving her an explanation of what Hong Kong is. The other members walked over to Ruby and listened to Joseph's story about what Hong Kong is. After a story, they began to walk their way to their hotel rooms.
Polnareff opens the door with his key. He walks in but with a bottle out. He slowly gets suspicious, inspecting his room before opening the bathroom door to see if anyone is hiding in there to sneak attack him. He then closes the door and throws his key at the bedside drawer. He opens another door to the outside and steps out. Polnareff breaths in before letting out a sigh while closing his eyes. Polnareff opens his eyes.
Polnareff: "Well, guess it's time to use the restroom." Polnareff said relaxingly, throwing away the bottle.
This is not the room Ebony Devil is in.
Jaune and Ren open the door. Jaune and Ren place their cases near the beds. Ren placed their key on the bedside table. Jaune sighs to himself in disappointment. Ren notices it.
Ren: "What's wrong?"
Jaune: "Did you know that when the others were fighting some monkey and Weiss and Nora were aiding the team by helping us escape the ship?"
Ren: "Yeah?"
Jaune: "Did you feel useless when we were just stuck to the ground and we just have to wait?"
Ren: "Yes. We... really didn't do much in the battle."
Jaune: "I just felt like a cardboard cutout."
Ren: "Hey. Don't think about that to yourself. You're more than you think of. Besides, you are our team leader." Ren said, comforting Jaune.
Jaune: "Thanks, Ren."
Devo chuckles. Ren and Jaune heard a noise and stood up. They looked around to see where the noise came from. They came together close to the outside door.
Jaune: "Ren. Use your semblance." Jaune said in command.
Ren activated his semblance and scanned the area. What he saw... was embarrassing. The leaves around Devo were blue blossoms. Ren sighed in disappointment.
Jaune: "Did you find him, Ren?"
Ren pointed at the refrigerator. Jaune face palmed himself in disappointment before going back to a serious facial expression.
Jaune: "Okay person in the refrigerator! Come on out!"
The refrigerator opened and Devo crawls his way out of the refrigerator. He looks over the refrigerator to Jaune and Ren. Devo stood up and he started to chuckle before laughing out loud.
Jaune: "W-What's so funny?" Jaune said nervously.
Devo: "Your stupid conversion. It's just so funny. "You're more than that." That made me laugh the most that I couldn't hold it in. And I thought I'm the one that's supposed to be embarrassed. You didn't even notice the drinks that were outside of the refrigerator because you were busy being gloom over a fight." Devo said, mocking them.
The two quickly looked over and see the bottles; Jaune started to get embarrassed but Ren kept his composure.
Ren: "That isn't important now. What is your name? Why are you hiding in the refrigerator?" Ren said, waiting for Devo's response.
Devo started to get a little angry that they weren't screaming at him for being a dumbass by leaving the drinks out or him staying in a refrigerator. But he needs to keep up the act to try to activate his stand.
Devo: "My name is Devo. I am here to kill the Joestars and his allies."
Jaune: "So you are a stand user Joseph told us about."
Devo: "Oh. So you know what stands are? Pretty sure if you couldn't beat that monkey's stand, you can't beat mine." Devo said, before chuckling.
Ren and Jaune got ready to fight Devo.
Devo: "Ebony Devil!"
Devo summoned his physical stand. It looked transparent to Ren and Jaune. Ren acted quickly in instinct and punched Devo in the face. Devo got sent flying and broke through the glass. But Devo transferred his stand to the doll on the bedroom desk near the bed. The glass shattered and Devo got more cuts around his body and started to bleed a lot from his body, legs, and arms. The punch made Devo's nose broke. Devo is sitting down.
Jaune: "Oh god. We're sorry." Jaune said, apologizing.
Jaune got closer but Devo started to laugh like crazy. Jaune stopped in his tracks. Devo held his nose to cover his bleeding.
Devo: "N-Now you've done it you sons of bitches! How dare you do this to me so horrible?! It hurts so much! And I didn't even give you what my stand is based on! How dare you do that?!" Devo said, in a rather maniacal tone.
Ren and Jaune started to get creeped out.
Jaune: "Ren, what's his deal?"
Ren: "I don't know. I checked what he is feeling right now and he has red and pink blossoms around him. He's a strange one."
Devo stood up and his legs start to wobble. He leaned over to the rail.
Devo: "My stand suggests the card called The Devil! It evokes curse manipulations, deteriorating mental health, and an inauspicious path of ruin and downfall! Curse you! How dare you!? I thought I would hold a grudge on someone from the Joestars or others, but you both, especially with black hair, are the ones I have a grudge on now! It's not nice to just randomly punch a stranger! Such... Such painful agony must be avenged! I thought it would be a weak fight for me as always, but now I can kill you with my rage!" Devo said in an angry but happy tone.
Devo leaned over farther and fell off the balcony. Jaune and Ren eyes widen from shock and ran over to the balcony. They leaned over but they didn't see Devo or any blood that could lead them to him.
Ren: "He's... gone?" Ren said, confused.
Jaune: "How? He just disappeared?"
Ren: "I don't know. We don't know what's going on, but maybe Joseph knows."
While Ren and Jaune were talking, Ebony Devil ran over to Jaune. Jaune felt a cut and looked down at his knee and saw a piece of his feet come out. Jaune screamed in fear.
Ren: "What's wrong?" Ren said, worried.
Ren looked down and saw the piece of his flesh come out of his foot. He was shocked.
Ren: "Activate your aura, Jaune!" Ren said in a hurry.
Jaune activated his aura. Jaune kneeled down and uses his semblance to heal it faster.
Jaune: "It seems like we got distracted that we forgot to activate our aura."
Ren ran to the phone.
Ren: "So this is their world's phone. Almost like ours, but not transparent." Ren said as he grabbed the phone and placed it to his ear.
Ren typed up Joseph's number. Before they got to their hotels, Joseph told them if they need anything or want any information, they need to call Joseph's hotel number. Joseph had told them their number. Ren dialed up Joseph's number. Avdol picked up the phone.
Avdol: "Yes?"
Ren: "Joseph! No, wait. Is this Avdol? Never mind, it's Ren. An enemy attacked us."
Avdol: "An enemy? So soon. Did you get their name?" Avdol said, shocked before calming down.
Ren: "Yes. Apparently, his name is Devo. He said his stand is the card, The Devil."
Avdol: "Devo, who suggests The Devil? You're positive that's what he said?" Avdol said in shock.
Ren: "Yes. But we haven't seen his power like you guys have. He just summoned it for a bit and got defeated. It's bizarre. He fell over the rails outside and he just disappeared. And after that, Jaune got cut in the leg from something. We don't know for sure what his power is. We might also need medical help for Jaune. A piece of flesh came out of his foot."
Avdol: "Ok. You'll need to contact the front desk. I think there is a paper that shows you what calls you can make. Anyway, come to our hotel room so we can plan to attack Devo. We'll contact the others as well. Meet us on 1212, on the 12th floor." Avdol said, giving orders.
Ren: "Ok. Talk to you later."
They hung up the call. Ren looked at the bedside table and opened a drawer. He saw a paper and grabbed it. He read the paper and began to call the front desk. Jaune sat down on the bed near Ren. Jaune placed his foot on Ren's hotel bed and had a broken curtain on his hand. He began to wrap around his feet to block the blood. The phone dialed up to Ren.
Front Desk: "This is the front desk."
Ren: "Hello? Room service? My friend hurt his leg a bit. Do you mind bringing us some bandages and some medicine? Like a med kit?" Ren said, in a calm manner.
Front Desk: "Yes sir. But what is your room number?"
Ren: "Oh. Forgot about that. This is Ren and Jaune in room 912."
Front Desk: "Understood. We'll bring it up as soon as possible."
Ren: "Thank you."
Ren hung up the phone. Ren and Jaune looked at each other.
Jaune: "What happened?"
Ren: "Well, we gotta go to Joseph's hotel room to plan to fight Devo. Apparently, he's dangerous."
Jaune: "Pretty sure. He sounded creepy." Jaune said, chuckling nervously.
Ren: "Heh. He did. I'll go to the room." Ren said as he chuckled a bit.
Jaune: "Alright. Let's go." Jaune said, standing up.
Ren: "Hold on, Jaune. You gotta stay to retrieve the medkit." Ren said, pushing him down to sit down on the bed.
Jaune: "Why did you call them? I could just heal my wound with my aura."
Ren: "You have a piece of your flesh cut out. You wrapped up your foot with a broken curtain. I think a medkit would be safe for you to stop bleeding."
Jaune: "Fine." Jaune said, in defeat.
Jaune stood up and walked to his hotel bed. Ren got up as well and looked for the key but he didn't see it. Ren began to look around the drawer.
Ren: "Where's our key?" Ren said, looking around his room.
Jaune: "It's not just that, my case is gone as well." Jaune said, looking down at the area his weapon was in before it had suddenly disappeared.
Ren and Jaune looked around their surrounding before Ren looked under their beds. Ren founded their key.
Ren: "I found our key."
Ren looked over to Jaune. Jaune is looking down under his bed. He also sees his weapon under there.
Jaune: "My weapon is under my bed." Jaune said, looking up to Ren as well.
Ren: "Maybe it got under there while we made a ruckus with Devo."
Ren and Jaune went under their beds and went to grab their stuff. They both got down and started to get under the bed. Jaune reached his hand further and grabbed his case.
Jaune: "I got my weapon."
Ren also reached his hand further and grabbed their key.
Ren: "Got our key."
Ren and Jaune tried to get out but they heard footsteps around them. They both looked around. A long cord came over Ren's bed and wrapped Ren's arms. Ren tried to tug but he had also been wrapped around his leg too. Ren had been tugged and he got pulled to be on the bottom of the bed. Ebony Devil jumped down and looked at Ren with a shampoo. Ebony Devil squished the shampoo and Ren's eyes got blinded. Jaune looked at Ren in fear.
Jaune: "What's going on Ren?"
Ren: "I don't know Jaune. But someone blinded me with shampoo. Take the person out."
Jaune nodded and wanted to go back but he also got pulled by a cord from his feet. Jaune was shocked by how he got over to Jaune's bed quickly. Ebony Devil did the same to Jaune, Ebony Devil tugged Jaune's arms and legs, and blinded him. But this time, Ebony Devil blinded him with alcohol by pushing the Alcohol to Jaune's eyes.
Jaune: "Bleugh! Alcohol. That doesn't smell good." Jaune said in disgust.
Ren: "He got you Jaune?" Ren said, trying to open his eyes.
Jaune: "Yep. Ren, try to pull the bed to get out."
Ebony Devil quickly ran to Ren's bed and started to cut the legs of the bed with a saw. Ren tried to pull the cord and did managed to get out, but Ebony Devil had already cut all of the legs and the bed fell on Ren. Jaune looked at his arm and he sees his case. Jaune went to open his case with his fingers. Ren on the other hand tries to get out of the bed but was jump scared by Ebony Devil. Ebony Devil's nose was busted.
Ebony Devil: "How dare you do this to my body and legs, Ren?!" Ebony Devil said in rage.
Ren: 'You're a doll? So that must be your ability."
Ebony Devil: "Who cares now what my ability is? You'll be dead once I'm done with you. And so are your allies!"
Ebony pulled out his razor and started to cut Ren's face. Ren closed his eyes to not be blinded but his aura did protect him. Although, Ren did feel the damage. Ebony Devil looked at him in disappointment.
Ebony Devil: "What the hell? You can't get hurt? That's no fun. But what would happen if I just stab your chest?!" Ebony Devil said, in delight.
Ebony Devil laughed maniacally before getting on the bed. Ebony Devil pulled out his spear from his back and jumped in the air before stabbing the bed. Luckily, the spear barely dodged Ren's face. Jaune was still opening his case and he finally opened it. He saw his skinny shield and sword and grabbed them. He grabbed his sword and cuts the cord. He looked over to Ebony Devil and saw what was happening. Ebony Devil started to rapidly stab the bed. Ren had been stabbed in the hand. Ren's expressions were negative but he was able to heal his hand with his aura. He was annoyed, with a bit of agony. Ebony Devil stabbed through the bed and the bed and lets that stay there. Ebony Devil ran to the refrigerator and he stabbed the alcohol. He threw the ones he stabbed, throughout the room. Some of the drinks hitted Ren and Jaune. Jaune got out of the bed and stared at Ebony Devil. Ebony Devil stopped stabbing and just sat down. Ebony Devil started to laugh to himself. Ren and Jaune looked at Ebony Devil with confusion. Ebony Devil stood up straight and turned his head completely to Ren.
Ebony Devil (Devo): "Hey Ren! I'm going to bite your balls off, man!"
Ebony Devil started to spin his head around and laughed like crazy.
Jaune: "What a weird dude."
Jaune shook his head to concentrate and approached Ebony Devil with his sword and shield. He let out a war cry and Ebony Devil stopped turning his head and looked at him. Jaune swings his sword but Ebony Devil dodged his attack by jumping. He landed on Jaune's head and jumped on a ceiling lamp.
Ebony Devil: "Woah there buddy. You can't just attack anyone from their back and land it. You gotta think. And clearly, you aren't. Feel what are on you right now you numbskull!"
Jaune and Ren touched their heads and felt something wet. And it smelled horrible.
Ren: "It's..."
Jaune: "This is..."
Ebony Devil: "It's soaked with beer, juice, and alcohol. I spilled them on purpose. If I was able to, I would've taken a piss to make it wetter. And now, with this short-circuiting hairdryer and that wet spot, I'll electrocute you both. Ren doesn't have any wounds from me, so a painful, burning death would help him. Including you boy."
Ebony Devil laughed and slide the hairdryer to high and the hairdryer started to get strong. Jaune ran over to Ebony Devil and tried to cut him but Ebony Devil dodged it again by backflipping.
Ebony Devil: "This should take care of my grudge."
Ebony Devil threw the hairdryer to the bed. Jaune grabbed his skinny shield and threw it to block the hairdryer. The hairdryer looked like it would pass it, but the shield opened and blocked it. The hairdryer bounced on the shield and went to the side where there are no spills around. Jaune sighed in relief. Ebony Devil got scared and pulled out his razor. Ebony Devil jumped to Jaune but he got grabbed by Ren, who was just getting out of the bed. Ebony Devil wanted to cut Ren, but Ren grabbed the razor from his other hand and threw it away. Ebony Devil got scared and panicky, bit Ren. Ren released Ebony Devil through the pain and Ebony Devil ran to the door. Jaune slashed down at Ebony Devil's legs and he became immobilized. Jaune and Ren walked up to Ebony Devil, the little doll turns to look at them as she shouts.
Ebony Devil: "You'll regret it soon!"
Ren: "Regret what? Defeating you? You were trying to kill us."
Ebony Devil: "Does it look like I care? I'm just doing my job and getting quick money for it! But now that I know you are allying with The Joestars, you won't survive when you arrive in Egypt! Lord DIO would kill you!" Ebony Devil said, pissed off.
Jaune: "Lord DIO? Who is he?"
Ebony Devil: "You don't know who he is? I should be laughing right now but my legs are fucking gone! If I had killed you, it would have made it easier for DIO to kill the Joestars and your allies! DIO is a beautiful man! You have no chance for DIO if you fight him." Ebony Devil said, smiling with hope for DIO to kill them both.
Ren: "We'll defeat him! But do you know what other people are going to attack us?"
Ebony Devil: "You idiot! Like I'll tell you. A person only tells their secrets only when they or their opponent is dying! With guys like you both, us stand users can figure out your weak spot and attack you!"
Jaune: "Then attack us."
Ebony Devil looked shocked.
Ren: "It's fair if you try to attack us before we end your puppet. And you said you were going to bite my balls. So, try to attack us."
Ebony Devil crawled up to Ren and tried to, but Ren punched Ebony Devil so hard that he exploded. You could hear Devo scream a lot from the pain. Jaune and Ren heard a door knock and readied themselves. The door opened and they saw a room service person.
Room Service: "Hello. This is room service."
The room service person looked afraid to see them and the destroyed room. Jaune and Ren saw him with medical supplies and calmed down.
Jaune: "It's ok. You can bring us the medical supplies."
The room service person carefully walked into the room. Ren thanked him and grabbed the medical supplies. The room service guy left.
Men's Restroom
Janitor: "Excuse me, sir. It seems like you have been in the bathroom for a long time."
The janitor opened the restroom stall.
Janitor: "Are you all right?"
The janitor turned to look at Devo but was horrified. He saw Devo's legs cut deep and his whole body be smooshed. The janitor screamed in fear.
Ren and Jaune went to Joseph's hotel room. They told them that they had dealt with the situation. And the Stardust Crusaders, Team RWBY, and JNPR still go on to the adventure.
Team RWBY and JNPR(Jaune and Ren) win against Ebony Devil. No surprise. Ebony Devil's stand is really bad and needs a lot of preparation to make him win. But, Jaune and Ren are able to defeat them.
