One week later
Fukō tapped the pen against the desk, his head was pulsing. He stopped going to the academy, at least for now. He couldn't handle it, the headaches weren't stopping. No, they were when he was alone. Hotaru wasn't around, she disappeared. Busy. It wasn't good. Nothing was. The sound of a fly buzzing around made the male twitch, this was also a huge annoyance, and he knew how to take care of it. Yet, he was refraining himself. Relatively speaking, he had to refrain himself or it would make matters worse. Still, the constant eyes needed to stop. Bending the pen, the item snapped. He was going to act, he needed to think; plot it out. Getaway. Closing his eyes, when he reopened them he was in the forest out of the village. Planning, everything was going right.
Walking past a mark in a tree, he swallowed down the minor relief he felt. His mind was calm, it was bad. He was acting, before he knew it here he was. The very weapon that took Mizuki's life hiding behind a tree, he's been planning. It was his fault, it became overwhelming. It was a horrible plan, but it worked. The crucial piece was soon to come, the fly was gone. No, it was replaced with the very insect who was targeting him. Turning, silver eyes narrowed at black goggles.
Shino kept his hands in his pocket, what possessed him to follow; the alert from his partners? Whatever it was they were away from supervision, his spying wasn't that needed. "Sorry, I just wanted proof on something...it came down to this point so I'm in the wrong, I haven't seen anything wrong; perhaps I was misled on my side."
His words held no meaning, Fukō could've accepted the apology but where did that end? Sure, one could say something and do another; how long has he been suppressing himself? "Nice to see we are on the same page, if I see another insect...I'll kill your mother." His words slipped, they were alone; no one was here yet. He wasn't like this anymore, but the constant headaches from before only fueled this impulse; if anyone was to blame it was the very person in front of him.
Shino didn't expect him to be hostile, but his words and tone were enough to make any doubt disappear. "Pardon?" He wasn't like this, just in some instances he couldn't control himself; all the build-up, he needed to release. "I see, I'll take this information to the Hokage...it's a threat but you meant it, I can tell; you will follow through with what you said."
Fukō mentally cursed himself, people were so fucking annoying. It was his slip up, next time he'd go away for a few days to cool down. He was building something here, it was minor but he didn't want it to go to waste; he couldn't. His body and mind wouldn't allow it, if Shino alerted the Hokage word would travel around he'd be forced to leave. Kei would be alone, and then there was Hotaru. Whether he wanted to admit it or not, he was slowly growing attached. She was starting to become something he couldn't lose. So, if he wanted to prevail he'd have to follow through. His thoughts were ahead days ago, he planned ahead. He knew what he wanted to do, and how...the problem was when.
"By the time, you reach the Hokage your mother will be dead; lying in her own blood and I will be gone." Shino had a cool exterior and he needed to break it, he needed him to attack first; then it'll be registered as self-defense, well that's if he was going for that. He was dangerous when like this, his mother knew and played into it...they were the same.
Shino didn't say a word, "She should be shopping at this moment like she always does in the morning; she'll be home alone for a few hours which will give me more than enough time to end everything." Shino raised his arm, he was confused wasn't he the one tracking the male? So, when could he achieve this? Reality hit, one of them was baited out of the area; from the start, he had to know but if that was the case; how? Why? How could someone pull the wool over all those eyes? Bugs started to rise from the ground, he was a threat and needed to be eliminated.
The swarm of insects fell off each other, and despite knowing he was better, Shino felt an overwhelming sense of fear; like he was stuck in the webs of a spider. Pointing his finger, the swarm of bugs charged at the snow-haired male. The spot he was in previously soon engulfed, "In the end, this needed to happen." His victory was short-lived a fist came from the side, his protection being a swarm of small insects.
Fukō shook his hand, the small intense pain disappearing as one of those damn bugs nibbled at his arm. He had a feeling this would happen, Masuo's book stated that the Aburame had a range of abilities and insects that could harm one. Still, everything was going according to plan; and Shino was pinned. He wanted to stay ahead, having been spied on for a while Fukō fed him some false pretense.
"I have to ask, why did you take an interest in me?" Shino blood froze at the calm tone, it was chilling; how could someone stay calm at the act of a life and death battle? Not, outright losing his composure the male had his bugs spread around the preteen, he'd trap him and kill him.
Fukō was expecting an answer or at least some conformation on what singled him out. He didn't want to go through this again, especially with someone he wanted. Watching as a circle started to form around him he could only raise a brow, he needed to draw out the battle a little more. Walking out of the slow forming circle, he was surprised when he noticed one already formed above and it fell right on top of him.
Shino exhaled, as long as he had the male trapped his win was set; he never expected to use this many to deal with someone his age. He even used an experimental insect, it was slowly releasing poisonous gas into the ball; it would be a slow death. "Sorry, I found you a threat all around."
"It's fine." His brain registered the voice, looking down at his calf his nerves finally went to shock, the nervous system sending his body into a survival state. The kunai lodged inside his leg forced him to submerge himself in his barrier, Fukō watched the display. Blood was drawn, there was no going back. He was justified for this, he was being targeted; he finally started to understand the act of wanting something, why would he give that up? He'd eliminate anyone, he needed.
"Understand, if you minded your own business everything would've gone differently; we were attacked by a group of rogue ninja, when I arrived you were already dead; I followed you knowing you came here to pray for Iruka's safety, upon arrival I was snuck from behind and injured; I luckily managed to escape when Seiko came." Shino listened to the excuse, it didn't make sense. "Then there is option two, you yourself were going rogue, and I so happen to stop you by killing you, I do happen to find you speaking with an informant, and although they escape you didn't make it." Time ticked in Fukō's head, the battle was over before it started.
"Let me give you a quick word," The shield of insects fell, his leg numb falling onto a knee he cursed out. "Nobody is stronger than me, even when I'm going easy on them. Remember that going into your next life." Finding himself reiterating his mother's words, he spat. Shino looked up into those uncomfortable silver eyes, his hand coming out to rip away the goggles, tossing them to the side they rolled across the ground cracking.
"Y-you're going to kill those around you..." Shino couldn't see the end of those eyes, he worried...when was the line drawn?
"I guess, you'll be the first one to go then." Watching as the male fell down, Fukō looked up in the sky. The poison was finally taking effect, on both of them. He needed to make it believable, he cut his arm earlier but swallowed a small portion. The only people to know how this played out wasn't around, from the start he had everything mapped out. Losing the feeling in his arm, he took a step back. When Seiko came, Shino would be dead and he would be barely hanging on. On the off chance, they both lived; grabbing ahold of a rock he used his good arm to slam it into the preteens skull. Sweat lingering, as he forced himself to stop after the third strike.
The boy's body slowly dismantled into beetles, the blood being from the insects he killed. He wasn't fighting Shino from the start, he was the one being led. The sudden circumstance put a smile on his lips, Shino had to be nearby; watching everything waiting to strike. Fukō wasn't angered nor bewildered, he was happy. Of course, he planned for something like this, but in his position, he'd lose the battle. With the poison taking control, he was a sitting duck. It was a gamble, Shino was smart; the higher the risk the better the reward.
"You pulled one over on me, I would say I'm surprised but I planned for everything." Shino listened, clutching his leg. He was able to switch his real body with his partners when he was concealed in the ball, he couldn't move one of his legs whatever toxin was used was slowly killing him. Exhaling, Shino rubbed the open wound.
Fukō's vision blurred, the world from his view shaking. He was losing it, he had everything set up for his victory; from the second he took Masuo's book, to following Seiko, he didn't want to admit it but subconsciously he knew what he was doing. Hallucination was a step in the poison, slender arms draped around his shoulders; a familiar warmth washing over him. A soothing voice came into his ear, his world was going black, he was going too far again; he couldn't control it.
Shino drifted off the branch, falling headfirst into the ground he released the hold he had on his insects; he sent a little squad out to get help, it was his last act.
"What makes a monster? A number of things, the deeper the roots the worse the being; can a monster be good? Of course, everyone's actions stem from a source. When someone threatens an individual you act, with that in mind; two civilians are tussling how do you separate them without causing more conflict?" Danzō closed the book, his vision resting on the mass of young talent. He was asked to watch over this class, and why would he pass up such an opportunity? Unfortunately, the few students he had an interest in weren't available. Seeing a young child raise their hand he pointed towards them with the answer.
"First, you figure out what the conflict is about then go about the steps to diffusing the situation with both sides agreeing, if one side stops and the other keeps pestering you are allowed to use force." Danzō's memory was all but perfect even with growing age, but he could recall the standards and rules the idea of having such a youngling speaking it word for word was amazing, despite the distance he could tell she didn't have that glint in her eye. They were full of life, naive at best. Though that could change, she was still missing that key factor. Mia Kobayashi could be a work in progress, with the right teachings she could become a useful tool.
"You are correct, but let's say both parties aren't willing to settle? One draws out a weapon to attack you what is your next course of action?" He wanted to test what she would say if she really did have what it took. She wasn't Sasuke or Kiyoshi but she was something, speaking of them they had the void look in their eye; it was what he was looking for. A darkness that could overtake them, natural-born stunned killers; if the years treated them right they would equally be scary foes.
"If they aren't willing to settle, you try to purpose another solution; on the off chance it still doesn't work, we are allowed to use a scare tactic to get them to calm down." Her answer wasn't what he was looking for, she was stating the book he wanted to know what she would do.
"Please, avoid using the book's material...use yourself...what would you do." Danzō's beady eyes set on the Kobayashi, did she lack the ability to think for herself?
Mia didn't want to make a fool out of herself, nor give an idiotic answer. The man standing in front of the class was well known in a good light regarding some of the citizens, not trying to prolong her answer her lips parted; tongue dancing around as she spoke, "I would want to help both sides in my best ability, it would ensure the best results instead of ridiculing one side over the other." The answer displeased the man, but like any trained fighter he didn't show any signs.
"Marvelous answer, would Masuo Kurama please give his answer?"
Standing violet hair bounced slightly his light brown eyes targeting the older male, 'Danzō...I need to answer this carefully,' Masuo wasn't expecting this figure to appear, if he was being honest he was scared of the old man. His parents told him to stay away from the powerful man, and he did so to his best ability, one time he tailed the man only to be attacked by some strange-dressed ninja. "Figure out the cause of the conflict then implement a certain degree of steps to make the situation better, keeping both sides to a minimum."
"It seems it was surely misconceptions about this group, you all follow the book too much...advice for the future learn to make your own choices before stepping past the walls." His words went around the room, many would take this to heart...after all who would doubt such a warrior.
Hotaru listened to the female speaking, she was losing track of time. She figured she wouldn't ever think this, but she was starting to miss the academy. It's been a week since she last went to school, the work was simply piling and never-ending. To top it off she was being forced to attend meetings by her lonesome, the bright side of this all? She had some alone time which let her indulge in her favorite activities, one thing about the meetings that irked her was the vibrant yellow eyes on her. They all were looking at her and judging. No, they were expecting some diligent answers...they were comparing her to him.
The meeting didn't go on for that long, so as it finished she was one of the first out, unfortunately, she was stopped by someone a few years older, it was a male of decent height, his dark green hair speaking for which branch he belonged in. "Half-breed, right?" She shivered at the nickname, although it was better what her cousins called her she would like to be addressed by her name. Pushing by, she was stopped by his hand. "Sheesh, if I would've known you were stuck up I would've bought some flowers." He gave his best grin, Hotaru looked around for a second noticing the eyes on her.
"Diao..." Using informal language she stood her ground, these days have been more troublesome ever since she got on his radar. He was a pretty influential player in meetings, both sides agreed to what he said as if he was some man among men.
"You both are the same," His hand came to her chin, lifting her head up his yellow eyes gazed into her golden yellow pools. Snatching her head away, she glared at the taller teen; he wasn't that much older, and being seen with him would boost her in ways her grandfather would like. Her actions got a reaction she didn't aspect, the amused expression on his face changed back to a happy-go-lucky look. "Let's walk for a second? I have been meaning to talk to you." She wasn't one to beckon to anyone, she didn't bend but rejecting his words would put a damper on her image even more...and she was here on her grandfather's behalf, it was the least she could do.
The two walked around, silence engulfing them. "You know, your brother and I were close." The good peace was broken, "He wouldn't stop going on about how great his little sister was, and if I was being honest I was jealous...I'm an only child so I craved what I was missing, but he was like a sibling to me." She already figured where this conversation was going, it happened before and would keep going. "So, I'm kinda glad he's dead." Her legs froze, her calm expression switched. Lips tugging downwards she scowled, he had to be joking. Diao stopped a few feet away from her, "I mean, I'm only filling in for him at this point...you see the way everyone looks at me?" He wasn't wrong. "I'm a threat...and a blessing like your brother was."
Turning he placed his thumb against her lips, "Join hands with me, willingly or down the line, you'll be forced too." Removing his hand from her lips she took a step back, "You're just like him, so I don't expect an answer right away...BUT I know you're smart with my plans regardless of what you do or say you'll side with me, and when you do...I will gladly accept you." Diao grinned, he didn't take in the fact he's only been speaking.
'Perhaps, this is a good choice? Everyone looks at me...like I am Mamoru, would it hurt to join hands?' Catching herself she exhaled, she'd never fall for such simple tricks. "From this moment onwards, if I see you I will inform my grandfather of your advances." Using her ace she turned, only to be stopped again.
"I guess, it'll be by force then...you won't be able to rely on him for much longer, I'll have you(r) hand soon enough take it easy for now love." Removing his hold on her arm the male disappeared into a cloud of smoke, it left Hotaru to wallow in her own thoughts. No matter, where, when, or how someone wanted something out of her it was vexing. Taking a deep breath, she figured a nice bath would suffice for this long day plus she had to wash away where ever he touched with sheer strength. "Maybe, I should stop complaining about the academy now?"
Making her way back, she started to think about what everyone was doing; she could guess that Mia was correcting someone about a mistake and Aju was playing some joke on someone while Fukō was resting most likely on the roof since he enjoys escaping there.
Akane sat in the chair looking at the child with minor injuries, she was tasked with monitoring them until they awoke. So far, the new groups were proving to be more of a hassle than before; she wasn't planning on growing closer with any of them, but life always found a way to push her and someone she didn't care for closer. Nonetheless, she did her research on everyone, it was easier said than done. "I can't help but wonder, what your true intentions were." Closing her eyes, she sighed. Why was she stuck watching over Shino? They didn't even know the full story, all they knew was two boys were found outside the walls injured. Seiko was the one to find them and alert everyone, no one questioned how or why they were over yet. She had a base idea though, they were planning to kill each other or they were in a secret relationship. In the end, it's whoever had the least detailed version was telling the truth.
"Well, it's looking like Shino got the worse beating...and with my knowledge, Fukō was ranked near the bottom which eliminates the possibility of him doing this or it could be a ruse." Sure she wasn't such a flower as she made herself out to be, but her intuition was good. The sound of a young boy moaning forced her to turn to view Shino, the bandages wrapped around his head helping the head injury.
"W-where am I?" His words were laced with confusion, the bewildered expression causing Akane to choke on her own saliva. She wasn't trying to jump to conclusions, nonetheless, it didn't look good.
"You are in the medical wing due to your injuries, you were found outside the walls with a fellow student." The look on his face didn't help, she could tell he wasn't going to be any help in figuring out what happened; and she could bet her pinky that the other kid wasn't going, to tell the truth.
"A-ah, I don't exactly remember why I am in such condition..."
Fuko's POV
My plan was rushed, the setup and execution were designed for it all to go according to the disposition...so why was I being informed that Shino was still alive? Everything was ruined, escaping alive wasn't an option. Nine times out of ten he opened his mouth, if I wanted to leave unharmed I need to make it seem like I am the victim. Shino was naturally reserved, I couldn't downright say he had it out for me; I followed him outside the walls out of curiosity found him speaking with someone from a neighboring village, I confronted them and they attacked the rest was self-explanatory. It would work, I wasn't a clown, so acting the role was going to be hard.
"So, do you mind telling me what happened?" Her eyes were sharp, one slipup and I would be getting killed. A medical examiner entered which resulted in me finding out Shino was awake but his memories were jumbled, luck was on my side.
"I followed Shino outside of the walls, he looked like he was chasing someone; and I figured I could offer my help, when I caught up he was injured laying on the ground; the person who did it was skilled...if I had to guess they were coming to finish my poor instructor." I'll loop in the cause before, it'll back up the lie.
"Why didn't you find help? You haven't even been given a headband, yet your willing to take matters into your own hands?" She was digging for the truth, more and more people were entering.
"It was a spur of the moment, when you get a sudden feeling your home could be destroyed you'll gladly risk your life; Iruka is someone special to me, he's more than my teacher...he's a friend." The liquids that were entering my system were making me lose focus, I wasn't prepared.
"How are you certain it has something to do with the Chunin that's currently in a coma? You bought it up twice, did you hear something?"
My eyebrows knitted together, the folds in the blanket seeking through my fingers. "Yes, I-I heard them say something about it when they were standing over Shino." My jaw clenched, was it looking believable?
"That's all, thanks for your cooperation." Reina stood and left the room followed by those who were nosy. Among the few was Kakashi in which she waved the paper full of the answers. "It sounds believable, honestly we were thinking someone would come back to attempt to finish Iruka we were lucky these boys intercepted them before anything major could happen...where is that Seiko kid? I need to ask him why he was out there."
I was saved by some miracle, when did luck decide to fall for me? I wasn't going to complain if I could stay here; I wanted something here, and I wasn't going to let anyone stop me. It was going to take time, but all I had was time. Is this what my mother meant when she said she chose my father? Did she want him? I found myself grinning, I wanted to know more. Why...I was finding this unhealthy.
I didn't regret my actions, the hindrance would cease; I was fine, nothing implicated me. I would get away, there were holes in my story, yet I drew the focus towards Iruka. I wasn't...normal. I realized this, but no one was. What was defined as normal, how long would I suppress some memories. Gathering my thoughts, I erased all current issues. Bliss.
Resting in the mattress, my eyelids shut. I didn't want a repeat of what happened, I needed to find a way to balance myself control these drastic headaches. I haven't come to the conclusion that I could be sick and dying, I haven't shown any health causes which was bright...then again I was still young...at times I would hear my mother's voice, distant memories I longed to forget...perhaps that was what I needed; was the answer buried in the past, I'd need to open that door again; would that bring me closure?
Placing this memory in the vault would work in my favor, I didn't need to recall this moment...ever again.
No one's POV
Kirayari exhaled sweat beads dripping from her forehead as she threw her head back, she's been at this for hours but nothing has changed. Finding her chakra nature was harder than she thought, well it wasn't hard but expensive. She figured it can be done with a regular piece of paper, to her dismay she was wrong. Balling up the white sheet, she tossed it in the air. She needed to get serious, teams would be forming soon and she needed to be at the top of her game if she wanted to impress the sensei. "Where is she?" To her annoyance, she wasn't the only one training she often found Mia in this spot practicing her taijutsu turning to look at the tree she used Kirayari noticed the chips in the wood.
"Why are you here?" Was it possible to work out and smell good? Swallowing as Mia's ivory skin glistened with sweat the girl found her lips stuck, how could someone be perfect in and out of school?
"Let's spar!" Mia was taken back by the loudness, using the small towel around her shoulders she wiped away her own sweat, the shorts and plain white shirt she wore really bought out her teal eyes.
"We would have limitations in order to spar, I think I have a book around here somewhere about it..." Kirayari grabbed onto Mia's arm, the look they shared was enough to make one of them sigh. "Nothing lethal, and we will stop before anyone gets seriously injured."
Kirayari watched as Mia removed the towel, her stance switched up when she usually fought she didn't have her head back perhaps her previous loss really hurt. Placing one foot forward, she bought her other back taking the wooden su yari out of its holder; she took a position.
The battle started, Mia, kicking off the ground twisting into a high sidekick only to be blocked by the wooden weapon. Closing her eye's she focused after her loss she practiced on her speed and reaction, Mia didn't want a repeat of what happened before she needed to prove why she was at the top. Stepping back, she recalled the delicate sound that melted into her mind; the simple music, how she watched the performers dance around the grace they had in their step. It was beautiful.
Kirayari charged launching a barrage of strikes, she kept note of Mia's closed eyes and took advantage of it; so why the hell was she missing? Mia tilted her head to the side, then turned her body her left leg lifting to her right thigh, she stood on her tippytoe. The wind brushed against her face, flipping back she heard the music. The angelic sound, she recalled the moves the dancer had.
"What the hell? Kira." Jumping off one foot she threw her body into the jab, so as Mia caught the weapon; her body froze; Kirayari didn't move as Mia's foot broke through the wood, the shards of wood slowing down as she jumped back to look at her broken weapon. "M-Mia! S-stop, that's enough!"
Mia couldn't hear a word, she was lost in the music. Bending her knees, her chakra ran around her thin legs; she was feeling it thus she collapsed onto the ground, in the midst of it all she lost her footing. Her ankle rolled, the sharp pain rendering a wince. She didn't need to check to tell it was red, she knew her body. Pushing herself up, she didn't show any signs of weakness. "I'm sorry, I overdid it." She didn't attempt to bow, one wrong move and she would expose her slight injury.
"I-it's fine! R-really...-Kira." It was all she could've said, in all seriousness, she was shocked by Mia's moves, it was as if she was dancing. "What do you think about the new student?" She wasn't going to pass by this opportunity to get closer, plus she was curious.
"Akira? I don't have a general opinion of him as of now, but I can tell he is hard working. During his free time, he was working on catching up I didn't say anything because it may be normal for him."
"He gives off that type of vibe, so far I haven't seen him really speak to anyone...some girls said he is really awkward? Though I know better than anyone else how vicious rumors could be." Mia didn't feel an inch of sadness for the girl she recently sparred with, the bullying started from the rumors and only grew worse lately she hasn't seen anyone try to mess with Kirayari, which proves her image was changing. "A-ah! I caught him looking at me and Aju for a second though. -Kira."
Mia nodded and squeezed her hand, results were showing with more effort she would be able to apply more moves and flexibility to her taijutsu. "Kirayari, I must start heading home." Mia waved her hand before she started walking away leaving Kirayari to scratch the back of her head.
She was putting on a facade, moving past all the people she knew growing up. Most of them greeted and offered her some sort of charity, her ankle was killing her now. It was swollen from her prolonged pressure, with each step it got worse and finally, she found herself losing balance her body coming down only to be caught. Looking at her savior, she was taken back. "When did you return?"
"I've been around, but starting today I am free from my duties." Hotaru found Mia lighter than she thought, the bag in her other hand swinging against her leg.
"You shouldn't be helping me, I'm your rival." Hotaru couldn't tell what definition she was using to define the word, but the meaning was beyond repair.
"Being my rival doesn't mean I can't help you, anyone could see you were favoring your uninjured leg more; in certain conditions, I'd like your help also," Hotaru ended her speech, with each hop the two moved along the path, it was relatively quiet but every now and then the two would speak about what one missed.
Akira closed the book and yawned, catching up was proving to be more and more time-consuming. Standing his legs cracked, a familiar set of red hair catching his attention. He started to remember his classmate's names, and the one he was viewing was Shinobu? Conversating was something that proved to be even more of a challenge especially with a stranger he had no similarities with. Fighting past the displeasure, he took a couple of steps before tapping the long-haired male's shoulders. "S-Shinobu, right?" The temperature around the two dropped, Akira's bottomless neglectful thoughts swirled in his head.
"The one and only." Rotating Shinobu rose a brow at the sudden voice and seeing it was Akira he couldn't help but put the scroll he had away, so far the new student hasn't taken any strenuous feats in making himself that known, sure some questions answered here and there but nothing too major. "Akira, right? Do you normally come to the library?"
The cool air shifted to warmth, the conversation was going well in Akira's senses. "Not exactly, but I need to catch up regarding everything I missed. Plus, I was informed that placing me on a cell would be difficult if I don't fit well?" He didn't understand, but that was the least of his worries; being new was a part of tackling this challenge.
"Well, let me give you some advice from a veteran," Closing the scroll, Shinobu cleared his throat. "Be wary of your surroundings at all times." Placing the item back, the young boy rubbed his hands together. "Hone your skill set, we are nearing the end anyways you'll need to be your best self in order to get recognition."
Not responding, Akira took a second to map out all the words that were said. He didn't have to worry about getting recognition, it would come to him once he showed his skills; after all, no one was as serious as him. His goal was just about everything to him.
"Don't forget the first thing I told you," The preteen poofed away, and the scroll he put up exploded into a mass of rainbow paint. Akira's eyebrows furrowed, his lips inching downwards as he frowned. 'Out of all the people, I speak to the prankster.' Wiping the substance from his face, he decided to start heading home. Grim thoughts about Shinobu's actions entering his mind.
Soles dragging in the dirt and ground, he kept his head cool; yet it didn't stop the images from flashing in his head. The looks he received from passing civilians, wasn't helping in the slightest. The academy wasn't all bad in his eyes, sure he lacked interacting with fellows his age but that would change; this week was all about him settling in and letting everything sink in.
Reaching his destination, the young male was stopped by someone noticeably younger than him the smile she had on her face was enough for him to wash away any negative emotion. The air around them slowly heated up as he was embraced, a nice sensation bottling around.
"You won't believe how my day went, Sora."
xXx
A flame lit in the night sky, the air as refreshing as a cold cola. Movements were scarce, the Aburame clan was sleeping or waiting for Shino to be released; it was a perfect time. The reddish-orange hue blew with the wind, the fire was dying with each second, healthy wood crisping. Tossing the match against the wood, the fire slowly began to spread. Flames rise into the night as if they challenge the heavens to stop their consumption, the fire ate; the sound of dying insects echoing out. It was the last step, he almost forgot about it. Masuo's book did come in handy, since Shino was hospitalized with fluids entering his body the insects he controlled had to be resting where they were born in the nest. This slight fire would only cause minor problems they bred like crazy, but he didn't need anything jogging a memory. The fire crackled and snapped, the heat it radiated comforting in a way. He couldn't have any distractions now, he wouldn't.
Closing the book, Fukō looked out of the window. His brother was resting once again in a chair, while he was in the bed. They could sleep tight, nothing would bother him. With the insects gone, Shino's memory absent, and a newfound ambition blooming...everything felt right for the male.
Sakura popped a lollipop out of her mouth, quirking her head to the side she let the flavor serenade. What she witnessed, was interesting. She planned on going back to school soon, she wanted to continue working in finishing the process of getting her headband. The red streak in her hair was vibrant enough for the moonlight to bless, the young girl heading back to her lovely home.
Sakura is starting to come back with a new look? Also...I think someone needs a therapist...Fuko. Out of everything, they choose that method. Interesting. Mia breaking through a minor rode block to enhance her style, and let's not forget Akira being a victim of Shinobu's prank. Then is Hotaru being targeted by a creep...lots in this chapter? All this and the end of the academy days are coming wonder what will happen.
A simple look into Fuko or what happens, I assume some saw this coming from the exam when he said he poisoned the people's parents who bothered him. Still, how much would one plan to get away with such things?
Yea, Mia being unaffected by Fuko's attempt to scare her is amusing I can only imagine her looking at him like he is stupid. Thanks!
Sakura is going to bounce back soon! Thanks!
Nice observation, someone was spying. The scene with Seiko was indeed foreshadowing, there is a lot of that in ha. Kei may take a dabble, but first, he'd have to figure out what's going on. Hotaru and Sasuke look good on paper, but when it comes down to it, not so much teamwork.
Thanks for the support, only a couple more before teams are formed and we can really get the ball going. The next chapter is either sometime this week or next.
