(Sorry this took so long again! Trying to write longer chapters! Things are gonna start picking up! ;) )

The young man awoke to find a slight weight next to him, he slowly looked over to find the white haired girl, Weiss? He thought he heard the red haired girl call her, he laid back, making sure not to wake her, it was rude to wake a lady as she slept, at least so he thought, he was a gentleman to boot. He stared at the ceiling, deep in thought, wondering what could have happened to bring him to this world.

He sighed quietly, looking at his clothing, he would have to find new ones somehow, Maybe he could get a new uniform tailored, both dress and combat. He looked back to the young woman, she looked to be around his age, maybe 17, a year younger than he was. To think, he was only 18 years old and fighting a war he died in. He stopped for a second as the young woman stirred slipping closer to him, he chuckled a little, quiet enough not to wake her, gently patting her head, stroking her hair.

He reminded him of his little sister. He laid his head back, pulling his hand away, after a few seconds, hearing her whine slightly he smiled and placed his hand back on her head, gently stroking her hair again. Her hair was remarkably soft. He brushed her hair out of her eyes, taking note of the scar over her right eye, wondering what could have given her it, but he would have to wait until she was awake so he could ask, but for now, he was content with this, staying with her by his side, gently sleeping in peace, not allowing anything to disturb her.

The young man became lost in his thoughts, not noticing the red reaper practically vibrating in excitement in the corner. Quickly and nonchalantly taking a picture with her scroll, quickly shooting the picture to Ren, Jaune, and Nora. Titled "OMGNEWGUYANDWEISSBEINGADORBS" still practically vibrating, she ducked back around the corner, squealing into the pillow.

Eventually the heiress awoke, feeling the gentle hand stroking her hair, She opened her eyes, seeing Donald mere inches away, stroking her hair, she went red, nuzzling into his hand, it felt... Nice.. His hand was gentle, soothing, but he still hadn't noticed the Heiress waking up. The Heiress eventually spoke up, looking up at Donald, she spoke softly, and shyly. "U-Um... Donald..?" She said softly, the young man finally glancing at her and smiling, his smile making her stomach do flips and her heart jumping, he spoke gently, pulling his hand away.

"Oh, sorry, I didn't realize you were awake Weiss." He said, chuckling slightly, he sat up, stretching, before standing, "I need a new uniform.." he said, looking at his tattered combat uniform, Weiss stretched as well, "I think there's a place that specializes in older uniforms." She said, standing up herself.

Donny raised an eyebrow, curious, he looked at his pack, somehow still intact, he walked over and pulled a spare tee out of it, slipping it on. He looked at her, smiling gently, "Why don't we check it out, I wanna see how much it'll cost. I wanna look at the dress uniforms," He said gently, smiling, Weiss smiled gently, her smile one of happiness, she grabbed her purse, "Mind if I tag along?" She asked, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. Oddly enough, she had her hair out of her usual braid, and in a high ponytail, it looked quite nice.

Donald smiled, nodding and holding his arm out for her. She giggled softly and took it, walking out of the Inn room and out onto the street. Oddly enough, Mistral was full of life tonight, people walking the streets, talking, laughing, and smiling, there was such joy in their demeanor. Weiss looked up at Donny, wondering where he was from, what his family was like.

Eventually he looked down and caught her staring at him, breaking the silence, "Something catch your eye weiss?" He asked, chuckling softly. His voice snapping her out of her thoughts, she cleared her throat. As she regained her composure, she looked forward, "Apologies, I was just lost in thought." She said, a slight red tint to her cheeks.

Donald smiled and nodded, they eventually reached the shop Weiss spoke about, he opened the door for her, "Ladies first," He said gently, she smiled, walking into the shop. "Such a gentleman," She said with a laugh, he followed close behind, as he spoke with the shopkeep, Weiss looked around the shop.

As Donald got his measurements taken, he watched Weiss, she was quite a nice young woman, and quite beautiful. Goodness, he could just get lost in those Ice Blue eyes, that Snow White hair, and those Rose Red lips. Unfortunately, his thoughts were cut short by the tailor clearing his throat and speaking to him quietly, "I know that look," The tailor said loud enough for him to hear, but low enough that Weiss couldn't, "If you are that by enamored by her, you should tell her sir." he said, before finishing his measurements and printing out a ticket for Donald, "Your clothing should be finished by this time, just present the ticket when you come back and it'll be handed off to you with standard care instructions. And as always Miss Schnee, a pleasure doing business with you, and to you Mister Mycroft, a pleasure to make your acquaintance. Good day." the tailor said as Donald took the ticket. Donald smiled and nodded.

As they left and wandered the streets, Donald glanced at a shop filled with more modern armor and weapons, stopping for a moment before glancing at his own handgun, It might be time for an upgrade.. He looked to Weiss and smiled, "Mind if i step in there really quick?" He asked gently, to which she smiled and nodded, smiling gently, "Of course, I'll just be in the shop across from you." She said, Donald nodded, walking into the shop, looking around quietly, before seeing a footlocker cracked open slightly, a handwritten sign taped to the front saying "Free for those who can get a use out of it." He knelt down next to the box, lifting the lid and taking a look at the contents, pulling out an armored plate carrier, armored helmet with faceplate, gun belt, combat boots, night vision goggles, a backpack, and a knife in it's sheath. He placed its contents back inside the footlocker.

As he stood the shop keeper smiled and walked over, "I see my son's old gear has caught your eye. If you're interested, you can go try it on, I have his old weapons too, if you need an upgrade." The shopkeeper said, wiping his hands on his apron, Donald nodded, picking up the footlocker, the shopkeep pointed him towards the changing room, and he headed over. Weiss eventually got curious as to what was taking so long and stepped inside just as Donald was finishing in the changing room, as he stepped out, just slipping the helmet on, he caught sight of Weiss, she slowly walked over, "How do I look?" Donald asked as he lifted the faceplate and smiled. Weiss chuckled and gently pulled the faceplate down, "Like a warrior." She said softly, the shopkeeper set a case on the table, "The weapons are in here, plus extra magazines and ammunition." He said, tapping the case.

Donald nodded, picking up the case, he set it down and slipped off the helmet, putting it in the backpack. He picked the case back up and extended his free hand for the shopkeep to shake, the shopkeep took it and shook it firmly, "Don't hesitate to come back if you need anything, be it attachments, weapons, ammo, anything." The shopkeep said before letting go of Donald's hand. Donald nodded, "Will do. Thank you again." He said before turning to Weiss, "Ready to head back?" he asked, smiling gently. Weiss nodded, smiling and starting to walk out of the store, Donald following. Things were beginning to look up. At least for now.
