Chapter 2: Is He Mr. Right?
Mercedes returned to the Midnight Star Hotel, she heads straight up to her suite and jumps into the shower, her thoughts filled only with the images of the blonde man who had selflessly jumped into a fight to protect her. She smiled as she remembered his crystal blue eyes, they were so...captivating, closing her eyes Mercedes had concluded that she would return to Shadows to see Naruto Uzumaki again. Once she was out of the shower, Mercedes put on her red silk bathrobe just as someone knocked on her door.
"Come in." Mercedes said. The door opened and Rebecca Quin, aka Becky Lynch stormed into the room, her brown eyes blazing with fury.
"Hi Rebecca, what's up?"
"That man, I tell ya Mercedes, he has to be the most pig-headed jerk in the world." her friend said.
"What did Seth do now?" Mercedes inquired.
Rebecca explained how Seth had shamelessly flirted with Eva Marie in the hallway outside of the Women's Locker Room right in front of her, Naomi, and Carmella.
Mercedes sighed and shook her head.
"So, changin' the subject," Rebecca said as she plops down on the bed beside her ebony friend.
"How was Shadows?"
A blush instantly flared up on Mercedes' face, which didn't go unnoticed by Rebecca.
"Aye, you met someone, oh, you gotta tell me everything."
Mercedes did indeed tell Rebecca everything about Naruto and her memorable night at the club. Rebecca looked at Mercedes and the faraway look she got in her eyes when she gushed about this Naruto guy.
"Well, that settles it, you're takin' me to Shadows tomorrow night, I wanna meet this fella." Rebecca says assertively.
"Rebecca! You're married!" Mercedes said in surprise.
"Hey, it doesn't hurt to have other options in play." Rebecca says suggestively.
"I'm not hearing this."
The next Friday Night...
Rebecca and Mercedes walked into Shadows, Mercedes smiles at Naruto as she passed by him at the club's entrance, Rebecca looked at her with a raised eyebrow.
The redhead did a double take as she looked at the blonde Bouncer.
"Wow, you weren't kiddin' Merce, he's a total looker, you make a move on 'em before someone else does."
Right on cue, Eva Marie walked into the club, as soon as she saw Naruto she leaned over to him and whispered.
"I'd really enjoy your company after you finish your shift, big boy."
"Sorry ma'am, but that would violate my one and only rule." Naruto said, not even looking at her.
"And what would that be?" asked Eva.
"Never hook up with a thirsty, superficial woman. Now, move along or leave."
Eva gave Naruto an indignant glare before storming off, Rebecca's raucous laughter could be heard loudly as she laughing so hard that she was in tears while Mercedes hid her face in her menu.
Rebecca looked up from her daiquiri at her friend, she was fixated on the handsome blonde, who looked to be ending his shift, with a sigh she gets up from her seat and walks over to him, then, she led him over to their table.
"I'm heading back to the hotel." Rebecca said, a knowing grin on her face before leaving.
"Your friend said that you wanted to talk to me about something, what's up, Mercedes?"
"Naruto, I w-wanted to know if you were single?"
Naruto smiled and nods.
Mercedes felt her heart swell hearing those words, she sighed heavily before continuing.
"Would you be interested in dating me?" she asked in a near whisper.
"Of course I would like to date someone as beautiful as you, Mercedes-hime"
Mercedes gave him a quizzical look.
"Oh sorry, hime means Princess in Japanese.' Naruto explains. This makes Mercedes smile, a sight that he never wanted to get tired of seeing.
"So I'm your Princess eh?" Mercedes said teasingly.
"Yes, anything you want from me will be yours if possible." Naruto replied.
The relationship between the two took off rather quickly, it was the true definition of a whirlwind romance, Naruto and Mercedes rapidly became closer and intimate, Mercedes would sometimes invite the blonde back to her hotel room.
Eva Marie was shocked when she saw Naruto step off the elevator on her and Mercedes' floor. Naruto said nothing as he walked past her, heading to Mercedes's room.
Naruto knocked lightly on the door, it opened revealing the bluenette dressed in a red silk bathrobe and a pair of black high heels wearing a seductive smile on her face as she beckoned her lover inside.
Naruto is now shirtless and on his knees, with his face buried in between Mercedes's legs.
Mercedes did her best not to moan too loudly, because Eva, and all of her friends and co-workers would probably hear her screams of pleasure, and she didn't want that.
