It's starting better than I expected with a good amount of views. But still, I'm closing the poll as it's official: Kairi will be paired up with Izuku Midoriya. But it's too soon for that romance as I'm letting them enjoy their moment as friends. For safety reasons, I do not own BNHA or Kingdom Hearts. And I do not own songs playing later on in more chapters. But before I go ahead and make this, I was looking at some videos of Kingdom Hearts 3 (Hiding tissues away due to happy and sad moments from crying) and I've recently can't believe a few haters on Kairi like that. I mean, damn! No chill. Well, this is an AU crossover and we're going to see how much of a badass Kairi can be in the future. Enjoy and sorry for the language (Nice going, Bakugo!) and let's hope there won't be violence in this. Maybe…
Chapter 4: Confrontation and Introductions
After that performance in the cafeteria, Kairi was basically the talk of U.A. While Izuku and Kairi were on their way to the 1-A dorm, they stopped to see Nejire and Eri approaching them. Izuku wanted to know what happened, but was given an All Might keychain as a gift for being a good hero. Eri wasn't done as she also gave Kairi an apple as a peace offering to see if she can play more music for her soon. Kairi smiled and nodded her head to keep that promise. Nejire waved goodbye to the two teens while carrying the little girl with her.
"I swear you are becoming popular with kids!" Kairi beamed while enjoying her apple.
"Eri's sweet like that. You should've seen her in a Santa outfit! Even my mom couldn't stop crying over seeing something like that." Izuku chuckled.
"Mind if I take a look at her picture one day? I bet she's adorable."
"She is. Also, I'm curious about how much knowledge you have on quirks. That way we can look up things about yours as well. And I can see if you want some tips for your sisters, too." Izuku stated.
Kairi smiled and replied, "That will be nice. Thanks, Izuku."
"Anytime." Izuku nodded while opening the doors to the living room.
As Kairi was the first to step in, she gasped to see how the place was on the inside. It was like living in a palace with a college touch to it. But still, Kairi felt like it was truly home with a few things to change that. "Wow! Never knew you guys have dorms like this!"
"After some run-in with a few villains, Principal Nedzu thought moving everyone closer together would improve security and our safety so we won't get harmed or attacked in the future." Izuki explained.
"Understandable." Kairi nodded. "It does seem better so that the students are accounted for and U.A. can even have more stuff to handle in case of emergencies."
"Exactly! Huh. You really are part of the school." Izuku said with a smile.
"Says the person who's going to teach me how to become a Pro Hero soon. And when I do, I'm telling everyone I've learned from the best." Kairi slightly punched Izuku on the arm.
Unfazed, the green hero just laughed a bit. Once they were reaching the common room, Sato stopped them in their tracks with a tray in his hand.
"Midoriya! Hamasaki! You came just in time!"
"Hey, Sato! What's going on?" Izuku asked.
"Today, I have made something out of the ordinary and made art come alive! Ms. Hamasaki-"
"Kairi." She corrected him.
"-Kairi, your Paopu fruit has given me inspiration and I want you to be the first to try out something that will blow your mind! BEHOLD!"
Sato removed the cloth and revealed a light blue cheesecake with whipped cream and bits of the Paopu fruit around the center. Izuku and Kairi were amazed by how it looked and couldn't tell how the flavor might taste.
"Impressive work, Sato!" Izuku said. "This looks beautiful!"
"Wait till you try out the taste!" The Sweets hero pulled out a fork and gave it to Kairi. "Care to be the first to try it?"
Kairi giggled and took the fork. "Don't mind if I do!" She cut off a piece and grabbed one to eat. Once she took one bite, Kairi's eyes were turning bright with stars in her pupils. Suddenly, her surroundings were changing and it was a sky blue theme while she imagined herself swimming in the ocean with Paopu fruit everywhere! She could feel the water and backstroking on the endless sea with a carefree look. Kairi stopped to take one fruit and have a bite on one of the edges. Her world vanished and was brought back to the real world as her cheeks were pink.
"Wow. Cake." Kairi whispered softly as she was still in a trance.
"Are you ok, Kairi?" Izuku asked.
The redhead shook her head and turned to her friend. "Izuku! You've got to try this! The taste...the flavor...EVERYTHING!"
He was startled by Kairi's excitement and didn't know that the cheesecake would actually make her feel so giddy. Just then, Izuku sees Kairi using her quirk to rinse off the fork and grabs another piece of cake so she can now give it to him. "Um...Kairi?"
"Trust me when I say that this guy has made perfection. Now, go on! Say Ahh!" She said while having the cake be in front of him.
The green teen just blushed red for a girl to feed him and very nervous while seeing a caring smile. Feeling like he didn't want to disappoint her, Izuku complied and took a bite. The moment he did, his eyes were wide and his taste buds felt the sensation of the dessert. "My God, this is amazing!"
"I know right?!" Kairi squealed happily. "Sato, you have to give me the recipe for this! I love it!"
Sato chuckled. "Of course, Kairi! But I do need to get more of those Paopu Fruit."
"That's why I got the seeds right here!" Kairi pulled a plastic seal bag out of her backpack and showed him the seeds. "If the season is pleasant here, they might grow instantly within a few weeks."
"Now that seems promising." The teens turned to see the classmates chilling on the couch watching television. Mina, Sero, Ochako, and Tsuyu were there and Shoto and Momo were looking at some manga books.
"Oh, I didn't see you all there." Izuku said while rubbing his head.
"You were occupied at the moment and didn't want to interrupt your judgement on Sato's creation." Mina soon smirked as she continued. "But we enjoyed a little show of Kairi there feeding you! Priceless!"
Izuku blushed red as the others laughed. Sero replied, "Nice one, dude!"
Kairi rolled her eyes with a smile and said, "Say, where's everyone?"
"Some were in their rooms while a few were making plans for the weekend, kero. And since tomorrow is Saturday, I'm leaving tomorrow to meet with my siblings while my folks work." Tsuyu answered.
"That seems nice." Kairi replied. "Since I'm waiting for my stuff to arrive, I'll just drop my bag and violin in my room and think of what to do in the meantime. So...where is my room again?"
"If you want, I can show you!" Ochako offered. "I thought it might give us a chance to get to know each other better."
"Hmm. I like the sound of that. Okay, Ochako, lead the way." Kairi said.
Ochako nodded as the two girls were heading out to the Girls' wing. As they left, Izuku headed up to his friends and wanted to know what was up. "So, did I miss anything while I was late for class?"
"Nah! Only explaining about the Sports Festival this year. I heard that they were trying to find some ideas to make the challenges more tough." Mina answered.
"Knowing the Principal, he sure has something creative in mind to test our abilities further." Shoto added while still looking at his book.
"He's right, kero." Tsuyu said. "And with new agencies coming to watch from across the globe, anything is possible for another internship. But for me, I'm sticking with Ryukyu for now, kero."
"If anything, I need to find another agency I can go better with. I didn't waste my time training and utilizing my quirk just to model for hair care products or pose for advertisements." Yaoyozoru stated with a frown.
Shoto looked up to the Creation-user and said, "Hmm. I can agree on that. Then again, you look better with your hair down and very pretty."
Everyone, including Momo, looked up to see Shoto with their eyes wide from hearing him saying that. Momo was turning red as she looked down at her book. Todoroki saying that outta nowhere was a shocker and she didn't want to stare at him after hearing that.
The Dual-Quirk user looked at everyone with a blank expression and replied, "It is true; it's better to know how beautiful she looks and can handle herself well in battle."
Mina giggled and asked, "Todoroki, you do realize that you are making Yaomomo blush red, right?"
Todoroki blinked. "So I can't compliment her and her skills?" Although hiding her face, Momo had steam coming out and quickly got up to go to her room so no one could see her face becoming a tomato. Shoto looked back at the others and said, "Hmm, I guess she's really interested in my manga book."
Everyone started laughing at Shoto's innocence as it was something to enjoy from him. After a year of being in U.A., Shoto finally opens up about himself and gets acquainted with everyone. And for his free time, he gets to join his mother and his family when he gets the chance ever since she was released from the hospital. Although his father shows up for short visits, he plans to try and get along with him; not forgiving him just yet.
Kirishima appeared from the Boys' wing and greeted everyone. "Hey, guys? Did I miss anything?"
"Meh. Just the usual. Nothing but chilling out here and having Shoto make Yaomomo become a human tomato." Mina said while giggling.
"I will never get him and his random talks." Kirishima shook his head and saw Midoriya. "Hey, Midoriya, how's the tour?"
"It went well. Kairi got a look around the school and really adjusted quite well with the others. She's not bad once you get to know her." Izuku answered.
Kirishima chuckled and placed a hand on his shoulder. "That's cool, bro. And having you as a mentor would really be great! It's an honor that Principal Nedzu trusts you with the job."
"At least it's better than Kaminari or Mineta." Tsuyu said bluntly. "After what that little pervert said today, I'm surprised Kairi didn't crush him."
"On the bright side, we have someone who can finally straighten him out! Kairi already earned my respect." Mina grinned.
"Same here. Now my tongue feels better after ridding that foul taste of Mineta. I swear, Izuku, I'm glad you brought her here, kero." Tsuyu replied.
Izuku nodded. "I just want to make sure I don't let down anyone."
"Midoriya." Shoto got his attention and continued. "After being here in U.A., you are a hero at heart. I highly doubt that you would let anyone down."
Just hearing that from Todoroki made Izuku smile to know that he'll do his best to have Kairi become a hero in no time. "Thanks, you guys. But I am interested in seeing how well she can do in the Training Area."
"I bet she'll do great." Sero said while the others agreed.
Girls' Wing
"So you and Deku haven't met until today?"
"Yep."
Ochako and Kairi left the elevator and went straight to Kairi's new room. It was a pleasant time to talk and Ochako started to know much about her classmate.
"Huh! For a minute, I thought you and him were close friends." Ochako said.
"Nope! Even if we were, me and him would've been the best of friends. And for the ones back home, it would be nice to see how mine would accept him. Destiny Island is quite friendly with locals." Kairi stated.
"What's it like?" The Gravity-user asked.
The redhead answered, "It's warm and cool at the moment, it's kinda like a basic modern-day village but with more stuff added, and good people to help one another."
"And your friends?"
"Weird and funny, but cool to hang with. Few of the people have quirks there, but the majority is quirkless. They didn't mind it since we stay by ourselves and not have others judge another for not being 'gifted'." Kairi said while stopping by the door.
Ochako frowned and knew about quirkless people being ridiculed and not being able to function well in a society with quirks. Even a few with weak and mutating quirks are judged and labeled as villains. It was worse when her friend Deku was quirkless once and was bullied his whole life. Still, Ochako was glad that her friend would be a Pro Hero soon and make sure those bullies eat those words.
"I agree; quirks aren't always everything." Ochako said. "My quirk causes me to get nauseous when using it too much on heavy objects for a long period of time."
"Side effects, huh?" Kairi questioned.
"The worst one." The brunette sighed. "But thanks to Gunhead, I was able to learn some Martial Arts when I didn't use my quirk at the time. If so, it's self-defense and very useful in dire situations."
"Impressive, Ochako. Same thing for me when I don't need my quirk. I've learned different fighting styles at a young age before I had powers. Bullies were never that bright to mess with me as they left me alone after beating down their boss and two jerks along with him." Kairi explained.
"Hmm. I may wish to spar with you soon to see if I need to improve on some things."
"I would love that. Later on, I might teach you a few tricks when getting cornered."
Kairi and Ochako arrive at the new room as Kairi opens the door to look inside. It came with a nice bed, a desk with a chair, a drawer, and a window to view U.A. Kairi took a look around and placed her bags on the bed.
"Hmm, comfy. Kinda feels like I'm in college." The redhead stated.
Ochako giggled. "It does feel that way, Kairi. Before I forget, you can customize this room any way you want it to be!"
"Really?" Kairi said as Ochako nodded. "Huh! This makes my day much better! It's a good thing my brother is bringing some paint cans here. Thought I might give this room a makeover."
"I can't wait to see it! Oh, and I hope it will be the same once Hitoshi gets here!" Ochako said in a cheery tone.
"Hitoshi? Who's that?" Kairi looked curiously.
"You can say that he's going to be our new resident here in Dorm 1-A. He's distant but a nice person to talk to. For now, let's head back to the Common Room and meet up with the others!" Ochako suggested.
"Okay, sure!" Kairi replied as they left the room. Once then, they immediately spotted Momo being comforted by Jiro and Toru.
"Hey, girls, what's going on? What happened to Yaomomo?" Ochako asked.
Jiro sighed and turned to answer her. "Another Todoroki moment when he gave her a compliment and she was close to becoming a human tomato."
"Again?" Ochako stifled a laugh. Everyone knows how much Yaomomo has a thing for the Dual Quirk-user and yet she feels a little embarrassed to all the compliments and nice gestures he's shown her for a few months. But for Todoroki, he thought he was being a friend and still clueless about romance.
"Oh, my goodness…" Momo muffled while lessening her blush.
"It's okay, girl! At least take a deep breath and relax." Toru instructed.
While Momo did so, Jiro looked at Kairi to ask a question? "So, Kairi, love the new room?"
"Not yet. I need to make my artwork come alive when I get my things." Kairi answered. "Heading towards the Common Room?"
"We'll get there in a bit. Let me calm this tomato down and we'll be on the way." The musician said with a sly remark.
"JIRO!" Momo shouted as her blush increased.
Kairi and Ochako giggled as they made their way to the elevator.
Common Room
Some of the 1-A students were sitting on the couch and Sato was preparing something for his classmates with the assistance of Mina and Tokoyami. Izuku got some cups to pour some lemonade for him and Kairi. Everybody was talking about plans on Saturday and thinking on how to be prepared for next week's training exercise.
Tsuyu walked over to Izuku and asked, "What's with the two cups, Izuku? Bringing one for Kairi?"
Izuku nodded. "Thought she might be thirsty after going around U.A. from the tour. Since I'll be mentoring her, I might give her a good impression."
"Well, you're certainly doing a good job doing so. Say, if you don't mind, can you hand me that bottle of water?" She asked kindly.
"Sure," replied Izuku as he reached for the bottle and handed it to his frog classmate. "Here to go, Tsu."
"Thanks, Izu-" Tsuyu soon paused and looked at Izuku with wide eyes. "Did you just call me 'Tsu'?"
"Um...yeah. It is your name, right? I didn't want to sound so off saying it." Izuku reassured her.
Tsuyu shook her head and complied, "No, it's not that. It's that you've always called me by my last name and never my first."
The OFA-user sheepishly chuckles while scratching his head. "Well...I thought that it was time to just call them by their names since we've known each other since the start of the school year. And I thought it would be nice to return the gesture by saying your name correctly."
"Wow." Tsuyu was stunned by this and never thought to see Izuku gaining a bit of confidence in himself. After going through some villain attacks, something must've gotten him to make him more brave and positive about himself. "I'm impressed."
"It's something I gotta learn to do if I want to become a Pro Hero." Izuku replied with a warm smile.
Tsuyu nodded and left the kitchen. She turned to Tokoyami and asked, "Need anything while I'm hanging with my family?"
"If you can bring back some apple pie, I wouldn't mind. Your mom did a tremendous job with the last one." He said.
"Got it." Tsuyu replied while heading back to her room to pack for tomorrow. She made a small wave to Ochako and Kairi as she passed them.
Izuku spotted the girls and proceeded to greet them. Unknown to him, a certain teen with a temper was leaving the wing and heading towards the kitchen. He wasn't feeling like talking to anyone at the moment and needed something to eat. However, he scowled and looked to see Deku leaving while holding two cups. Knowing how much of a wimp he is, Bakugou decides to mess with him.
As if danger was near, Kairi could tell that Bakugou was up to something once she spotted him staring at her mentor. The moment Izuku was on his way, Bakugou came close and bumped him with his shoulder.
"Move it, you damn nerd!" Bakugou said as Izuku had one of the drinks drop to the floor.
Just then, Kairi used her ability and caught the pink substance while the cup feel on the floor. Once she did, she brought it her way drunk it without spilling a single drop.
"Hmm. Quite refreshing." Kairi said as she came up to her friend. "You okay?"
"Yeah." Izuku sighed. "Sorry about that. Needed to watch where I was going."
"Not the way I see it." Kairi frowned. "That guy just shoved you on purpose."
"Well, that's Kacchan for you. He's always like this, but he means well. He's just...agitated."
"But still, Deku, don't you think that he needs to try and be a little nicer to you. I mean, this is our second year and his attitude hasn't changed much." Ochako stated.
"Maybe he just needs to relax." Izuku complied.
"Or he needs to apologize for bumping into you." Kairi said as she went over to Bakugo.
"Kairi, wait!" It was too late for Izuku as Kairi was calling out to the Explosion-user.
"Hey, you! I need a word with you." Kairi said while walking up to Izuku's bully.
Bakugou hears her talking and turns to see the redhead with a growl. "What the hell do you want?"
Kairi stopped in front of him and said, "Listen. I know I just started here and I could tell that you think you run the place. I could care less about it. But can you please be a little nice and apologize to Izuku over there?"
"And why should I? That stupid Deku got in my way!" Bakugo barked.
"Riiiight." Kairi retorted. "Can you at least lose the attitude and just apologize? It wouldn't kill you to try."
Bakugo gave Kairi a deathly glare, which didn't seem to bother her, and everyone was feeling a bit scared to see a sudden stare down between the two. "Maybe you need to understand something here: I don't have to listen to anyone. Especially you! You are nothing more than a shitty extra who just started here. Your talent earlier is nothing compared to what's out there! My quirk is strong enough to destroy all those villains and make them beg for mercy! You?! I suggest you pack your damn instrument and play a tune about your failure in the future! I'm going to surpass All Might and become Number One to show I'm superior to everyone else as the Explosive Hero: Dyna-Might!"
Silence was made as Kairi looked at him with a surprising expression. She was registering every word he said and spots a smug look on his face. Suddenly, Kairi blinked twice and stifled a bit. Her mouth was trying not to curl into a smile, but it was effortless as it started to become a giggle. And then...a fit of laughter.
"HAHAHAHAHA!" Kairi was literally laughing right into Bakugo's face once he was done with his little speech. Everyone was surprised by this and Bakugo had a shocked expression on his face. "You've got to be kidding me!"
Bakugo suddenly snarled and shouted, "WHAT'S SO FUCKING FUNNY?!"
Kairi collects herself and takes a deep breath as she looks back at him. "I'm sorry, but...that name! That's your hero name?! Dyna-Might?! Hahaha! That's gotta be the most funniest and ridiculous name you could come up with! I mean...come on! And seriously, I don't even know who you are."
"What the hell do you mean?!" He said as he was starting to activate his quirk. "I am U.A.'s top student and winner of last year's Sports Festival! I was trained by the Top Ten Pro-Hero Best Jeanist and beat the shit out of the villains during that USJ incident! And I'm the better hero than these extras combined!"
Kairi raised an eyebrow and tapped her chin. "Hmm. See, here's the thing: I know only good heroes. I've seen Ochako and Tsuyu on the news for rescuing people on a plane, Kirishima injured from some crazy Yakuza guy, Yaoyorozu with the commercial ad, which was weird, Jiro jamming, and...Izuku basically doing hero work when on the screen. You? Never heard much."
If things could get hectic, the anger rising from Bakugo was slowly growing. "What…?!"
Kairi continued and smirked, "Oh, yeah! You're that psycho who won that event and tied like a mutt and looked like a snooty British boy while hanging with that Pro Hero! Man, me and my sisters were laughing our butts off at that. Still, that event was messed up when you brutally attacked Ochako during that event. I don't care what commentary said; that should've gotten you disqualified for nearly killing her! Namine knew the calculation and if you would've kept doing that to her, Ochako could've been dead."
Ochako paled to believe that. She knows Bakugo's aggressive fighting style and his quirk was enough to be dangerous! Hell, proof was right there when he nearly killed Deku with that insane attack!
"Tch! Whatever! Pink Cheeks wasn't ready enough to face me. I've proven that to everyone and I'm-" Bakugo was then interrupted.
"Just a regular student with a huge anger problem and the attention span of a spoiled brat." Kairi stated with her eyebrow raised and arms folded.
Bakugo barked back. "Listen, you! Don't you-"
"Bakugo, stop. You're wasting your time and breath and I wanted you to apologize. But it seems I won't get that. Listen, I don't care what you will be. In fact, I don't even care about that cruddy Hero Ranking. If I want to be a Pro Hero, I'll do it without relying on that stuff. And if you want to be #1, then go for it. I'd rather be at rank zero than be another Endeavor like yourself."
{SFX: Record Scratch]
Everyone was silent and they were shocked to hear that from Kairi herself. Not only did she stand up to Bakugo without fear, but she downright insulted him in the worst way possible. Mina couldn't believe this and Kirishima was awestruck that someone would insult his bro. Then again, his attitude was not going to change and thought this would be something more. As for Todoroki, he never knew Kairi to put his father in this. But deep down, without people noticing, he was amused and wanted to hear more.
Izuku and Ochako were unable to say more as their new classmate just did the impossible and said that to the explosive classmate. Bakugo was shaken up from this and looked at Kairi with an appalled look. "What did you say?"
"Saying that you have the same impulsive and arrogant attitude like Endeavor, I'm surprised how this school can deal with that. But it's not my place and you should be honored to be here. I've faced bullies and rude guys back home and they know when to back off before I had my quirk. Consider yourself lucky to be here and not somewhere else that wouldn't deal with your bitchy attitude. After all: I don't think you'll be the Number One Pro Hero like this." Kairi starts to face Izuku's direction, but stops to say more. "Heh! With the way you're acting, you're better off Number 2."
Number 2…
Number 2…
Number 2…
Something inside Bakugo snapped and stared at the redhead with pure rage. No one has ever talked to him that way and Kairi, on her first day, just completely disrespected him in a snarky tone. His quirk was activated and he ran towards his target!
"Bakugo! Cease your hostility!" Iida shouted.
"Baku-Bro, no!" Kirishima said as the others were about to stop the fight.
Izuku and Ochako gasped in horror and Bakugo was close to attacking Kairi! "YOU'RE GOING TO DIE, YOU REDHEAD-"
[SFX: SNIKT!]
Upon that moment, Bakugo paused and felt a sudden chill in his spine. He didn't bother moving as his arm was folded behind him and had something near his neck. Before he could speak, Bakugo heard a sadistic voice lingering near his left ear.
"Such a naughty boy. Trying to strike an unarmed woman while her back was turned? How very rude and disrespectful. I bet your family didn't teach you better, huh?"
"Who the hell-" Bakugo's world became dark as his neck was chopped, rendering him unconscious. Class 1-A was stunned and Kairi turned to see what happened. Once she did, her eyes were widened and a smile was made to her face.
"LARXENE!"
Pulling her throwing knife away, the woman was revealed to be a friend of Kairi's: Larxene Voss. The woman looks to be her early 20s with blond hair that's jaw-length with an antannae-like strands on top and cyan eyes. Her outfit is consisted of a yellow sleeveless crop top with a skull logo, black pants with a chained belt, and black boots with heels.
"Hey, kid! It hasn't been one day and you're picking fights early? Must be a record!" Larxene stated as she looks Bakugo on the ground. Sato helps pick up Bakugo and bring him to his room.
"You know I could've handled it. I know he was about to strike." Kairi said.
"True, but he's not going to go around attacking people like a Pomeranian dog." Larxene complied and looking around to see the students of Class 1-A. "And I see that you've made friends."
"Yep!" Kairi giggled. "They're not bad and pretty cool to chill with. Mostly Mina."
"Damn right!" Mina slides over to Larxene to introduce herself. "Hello, ma'am! I'm Mina Ashido!"
"Oh, I've heard about you and your friends. Nice to meet you." The blonde shook her hand and started to look at Izuku. "Hmm."
Izuku was startled as he saw Larxene walking up to him. After what she did to Bakugo, he couldn't tell what to say or do in hopes that he doesn't want to make problems with her. Instead, she came up to him and smiled.
"You must be Deku, right?" Larxene asked.
"Um...uh...u-uh..y-yes, ma'am." He stuttered nervously.
Larxene giggled at his expression and replied, "Relax, kid, I'm not going to hurt you. I've heard so much about you and am very impressed with your skills in battle. I've also been told that you're also good with analyzing quirks, correct?"
Izuku nodded. "I am."
"Great to hear." Larxene said as she notices Ochako raising her hand. "Yes?"
"I have a question. Who are you?" She asked kindly.
"My name is Larxene Voss. I'm from Destiny Island and transferred here in Japan to help out with some stuff. I also go by my heroine name Voltrees: The Electric Ninja Hero." She explained.
"Wait!" The others turn to see Kaminari as he was surprised to hear what the Pro Hero said. "You have a quirk with electricity as well?! Same here!"
"Hmm. Cool." Larxene said with an intrigued tone.
"So, Larxene, where's Axel? I thought he was supposed to be here with you as well?" Kairi asked.
"He's catching up. Had to talk about how we are going to be patrolling around the city soon. We were also told that you have a mentor showing you around here in U.A." The blonde stated.
Kairi complied and pointed at Izuku. "Here he is!"
The green-haired hero looks away with a shy look. "I...I-I was given the position by Principal Nedzu after escorting her here from the rain. My mom helped as well."
Larxene giggled softly at the young man and never knew how much of a cinnamon roll he is. "Such a gentleman. Thanks for helping her out and getting her to U.A. safe. You're quite the hero."
Poor Izuku was turning red as he looked down on the ground in embarrassment. Everyone laughed at his shyness, but Ochako and Kairi thought it was cute. Mineta was silently crying from the scene and felt mad at Izuku for having another girl talking to him.
'Damn you, Midoriya! Why must you torment me and taking all the hot chicks?! It's so not fair!' Mineta thought while crying more.
Sensing despair from his friend, Kaminari patted his head for support. "I know, Mineta, I know."
"These boxes are a pain in the ass! What was I thinking about getting this much?!"
Everyone turned to the door and saw someone opening the door with his back and kept moving forward to the Common Room.
"How are you holding up, honey?" Larxene asked.
The man grunted and replied, "It would be easier if you could carry a few boxes for me!"
"I would, but I got my nails done! Can't break a good manicure for something dangerous." Larxene replied with a smirk while checking her nails.
"I'll remember this!" The man retorted until he was about to lose balance.
Kirishima decides to help the man out and grabs a few boxes. "Don't worry, sir! I'll help!"
"Oh, thank God! At least someone is kind enough to help!" The man said while taking away a few boxes. Once then, his face was revealed and the girls were staring at a hottie! Fair skin with emerald eyes that could easily trap anyone's gaze and bright red shoulder-length hair into a style with slick-back spikes. He's sporting a flannel shirt with a black undershirt, black sleeveless hoodie, black pants, and red sneakers.
"Wow! Another redhead like me! So manly!" Kirishima exclaimed with a wide grin.
"It's generic, kid. Redheads are always a thing in the family." The man stated. "The name's Axel Hamasaki. Kairi's brother."
'That's Kairi's brother?!' The girls thought as Kairi walked up to Axel.
"Hey, big bro! I'm surprised you're here early."
"Well, the weather was slowing down and I couldn't miss the opportunity to see how my baby sister is adjusting here in this school." Axel said while ruffling his sister's hair. "And I don't recall having you wearing this outfit on your first day."
"Had to help a student out without messing up the uniform. I know my way around U.A. and I really love it here." Kairi sighed deeply and continued. "Still...I feel bad for Xion not being enrolled."
"True. It's also terrible how messed up that she was unable to pass the exam. She was doing so well."
"Sir, if I may ask." Iida said while getting Axel's attention. "Surely something must've happened during the Entrance Exams! If she truly is the perfect candidate for U.A., why hasn't she tried to complete the test?"
"Hmm. Good question, my friend." Axel grabs a chair and sits down so he can explain what happened to Xion. "You see, my adopted sister, Xion, has been a social tomboy with a boasting attitude and dream of becoming a Pro-Heroine for Destiny Island. Her dual quirks of fire and earth proves to be the best she can master at a young age. Once she was older, Xion was ready to apply for U.A. She passed the written test and went on to fight the robots. Although she was good, Xion tends to be helpful to her other pals. But one day, I heard that she didn't get the chance to finish because she was stuck by some weird substance and stopped her. She was unable to move and Xion needed to catch up. She had to leave her shoes to keep going, but more of these purple orbs were everywhere and she tripped on one of them. She was stuck in an uncomfortable position and time ran out."
It was like someone left the A/C on as Mineta felt a sudden chill up his spine to realize where this story was going. He remembered that day when he was going to become a student and was thinking of ways to score some digits and sneak peeks at some girls in their outfits. Once he entered the exams, he was fooling around and throwing his purple balls everywhere. A few got caught and one managed to escape. Unfortunately, the girl tripped and had her body down and her rear up. His perverted instinct was rising once seeing a lining of her panties. Mineta didn't have time and went by one last time and whispered something that he soon regret saying:
'Hope you'll be part of my harem soon!'
And now, it was one year later and his heart stopped beating to realize that the girl's sister is in his class. And...her big brother is in the Common Room! And with deathly revelations, Mineta knew this would bite him back hard and felt like an idiot for doing something like that.
Certain words reached the other classmates as they knew who the culprit was. Out of all the things to do, this was the lowest and Mineta screwed someone off her chances of being a U.A. student. Kaminari and Hanta were utterly shocked and turned to see their friend gone in a flash. Knowing what he did, they kept quiet to themselves and planned to have a talk with him about it.
"So...what happened to Xion?" Izuku kindly asked, still upset to know that a certain class pervert will reap what he sowed.
Larxene answered, "She was mad and upset that she didn't get in. But then, she was given a chance to be a Pro-Hero since Twilight Town Academy has opened up a Hero Course. Xion may not be a U.A. student, but she was determined to still succeed. Her and her other sisters entered and they were the Top Three with excellent performance and had some internships in the United States! It was actually funny when Axel was crying to see his sisters becoming Pro-Heroes too soon."
Axel blushed at that remark and replied, "I wasn't crying! I had...some sand in my eye after that last villain attack."
"Try telling that to our floor when you've made it into an indoor pool." Kairi added with a giggle.
Axel grumbled but Larxene came and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Oh, relax! We're just having fun!"
"So how long are you two going to be around here?" Sero asked.
Larxene replied, "Probably for a few weeks until things get better. We were called up to help out on some case involving this group called the League Of Villains. Even after the Deika City Incident, a few villains were running amok and needed to be stopped.
"But it won't be a problem." Axel continues on. "Once it's done, we're heading back to Destiny Island and see where we'll go from there. And we can trust Kairi staying here as we make sure that she has everything needed here for the next few years."
"Then let me say that Ms. Hamasaki has been having a great start here and impressed us with her talents! I say that she is a fitting individual to thrive and be someone to help out U.A. the best way possible." Iida stated with determination.
"Plus she's a great singer and did a great job with that violin!" Toru exclaimed.
"Guys…" Kairi blushed pink with a small giggle.
Axel chuckled as he continued on. "I bet! Even if she does, I'm hoping that Kairi will be doing well later on. But we'll be visiting her from time to time and see how things are while on break."
"That won't be a problem since that kid will be mentoring Kairi around here." The blonde pointed at Izuku.
Axel sees the green-haired teen and comes up to him. "Hmm. I never thought I would get to see you in person, Izuku Midoriya. I heard about you and I'm very impressed with your work."
"W-Well, thank you, sir. I'd never thought that a Pro Hero, like yourself, would be Kairi's brother." Izuku said.
"Meh. I like to keep my personal life a secret without any more danger. But my three sisters are capable of handling their own and I can respect that. You know who I am, right?" Axel asked.
"You're the Wandering Flame Hero: Apollo. I don't need to say much about your quirk and everything."
"Nice!" Axel grinned. "It seems that Kairi has found another with extra brain power. I trust that you can help out my little sister. Got it memorized?"
Izuku nodded. "I will."
"Then that's all I needed to hear." Axel said while walking to the door. "Well, we better get going, Larxene. Gotta head back to the apartment and settle in. We have another case to help out with."
"Fine," sighed Larxene as she looked at Kairi. "We'll come by soon to visit again. Think you can handle it here?"
Kairi nodded. "I'll manage. I got your phone number in case I need anything. Just make sure big brother is on his best behavior."
Larxene giggled. "I'll try." Kairi and Larxene share a quick hug and the blonde looks at Izuku. "I hope to see you very soon, Mr. Midoriya. Watch over Kairi and be safe, okay?"
With her winking at him, Izuku blushed pink and replied with a nod. "Y-Yes, ma'am."
Axel and Larxene then left U.A. and the class of 1-A began to just go out with their regular routines until the evening came.
Later that night in Kairi's Room
Things were dying down a bit as Kairi was inside her room writing something in her notebook. She changed into her new outfit after taking a shower and wanted some alone time for herself after everything from today. Her stuff wasn't out yet and wanted to make some touches before the room was done in her own way.
I gotta say: I wasn't expecting my first day to be a little hectic as it was before since I've moved here. Here in U.A., this place was huge and easy to get lost in! I could imagine what my sisters would say if they ever come across here and be amazed that I was becoming a Pro Hero soon! Hopefully I could be a better one than a few that's in it for money and fame. That's another story I would talk about later.
The Principal of the school was okay and he looks like a hybrid of a bear, mouse, and maybe a dog combined! He looks intelligent and could really be someone to get along on his good side. And to my surprise, I met the Pro-Heroine Midnight and I couldn't believe I'm meeting her in person! I even asked for an autograph and she happily signed it. Plus: I was given a selfie since I will be a student here. Hehe!
But on my first day, I've already made my first friend: Izuku Midoriya. I hate to admit it, but he looked so cute and pure to ever be here! And for a bonus: I get to meet his mother! They're both cinnamon rolls and it was awesome! They gave me a ride on my first day while it was raining and had a nice conversation about random stuff. And it was because of Principal Nezu that Izuku was assigned to help me out around the place; kinda like what a mentor would do.
I even got to meet Izuku's classmates and his teacher as I was going to be in Class 1-A. Nedzu had the class be on free period so they could hear me introduce myself and ask me some questions. However, one class pervert was close to being out of line, but I kinda did something to make him respect me and the other female classmates around. Every girl gave me mad respect and this pink-skinned girl named Mina Ashido gave me a high-five for making Mineta watch his mouth. The others were cool, but I doubt Bakugou would care less about it. Whatever. He looks like an 'extra', if I heard correctly.
And things were fun as I started to perform with my violin in front of everyone in the cafeteria. Reason: This adorable cutie named Eri asked me to play something nice and I couldn't say no to those eyes of hers. I was quite famous and was nominated to join...*Giggle ...the DekuSquad. Funny the way they say it, but it's cool.
*Sigh* Sometimes, I wish you were here. You would've loved it and made some cool friends. Hell, you and Izuku would get along so easily! I know it's been a day, but I miss everyone already. But Axel and Larxine stayed in Japan for a local job that needed their help. At least I get people familiar with the country.
[SFX: Knock! Knock! Knock!]
"Hey, Kairi! Wanna join? It's Game Night and we need your help crushing the guys!"
"Okay, Mina! Give me a minute!"
Well, I better go. It seems like I've been called to crush the male gender. Wish me luck!
Once the girl put the notebook down, Kairi wrapped her hair into a ponytail and went to open the door. She spotted Mina and Tsuyu waiting for her as they were seeing Kairi wearing a Wonder Woman shirt and black pajama pants. It was Friday so she will be fine staying up if she wants.
"Hello, Kairi. Hope we weren't disturbing you, kero." Tsuyu said.
"Nah, you're good!" Kairi smiled. "So, Mina, what's the game for tonight?"
"It's called Final WarZone and it's a war-based game where you go solo or team up against enemy soldiers! Kirishima picked it out and we need to defeat the boys! You in?" Mina asked.
Kairi cracked her knuckles and smirked at the request. "I'm a bit of a gamer back home. Those boys are going down!"
Mina cheered and Tsuyu giggled. "Time to go, kero." Kairi followed behind her classmates to go where the others were at for the ultimate game challenge.
They made it to the Common Room and everyone was settling down to wait for the competition to arrive. For the boys: Izuku, Fumikage, Shoto, Kirishima, and Kaminari. And the girls: Ochako, Momo, Tsuyu, Mina, and now Kairi. Jiro and Sero decide to keep score and play commentary on how everyone was doing. Ojiro was hanging with Toru somewhere in the building as Sato was making snacks. Iida crashed early so he can meet with his family tomorrow, and Mineta...well, he stayed clear with the group as to what happened today and not piss off a redhead quirk user.
"Kairi, you arrived just in time!" Ochako said with a smile.
"Did I miss anything?" The redhead asked.
Kirishima shook his head. "Nope! Just waiting on you and the others to arrive. Thought it would be more fun with competition."
"Just know how chaotic it will be when we become victorious in the field of war." Tokoyami stated in a monotone voice.
"You say that when you boys are going down!" Mina grinned as she and Ochako did a high five. "And since Kairi is new here, she plays for us first!"
"Really?" Kairi pondered. Momo gave her the controller and she carefully took it. "Huh. I'm guessing I'm first now."
"And your opponent is going to be Midoriya! Our bro is going to lead us to victory!" Kirishima cheered.
Kairi looked at Izuku and asked, "Have you ever played this before?"
"A few times. I kinda quit after Kacc...Bakugo kept bragging rights and yelled at me for beating him." Izuku answered.
"Bad sportsmanship, if you ask me." Kairi frowned, but smiled again. "Don't worry about it; just us having a friendly game and having some fun."
Izuku nodded while extending his hand. "Well then, let the best gamer win."
Kairi smirks and looks at the screen. "I plan to."
"OOOOOOHHHH!" The classmates said after what the redhead said. Izuku blinked from that statement and soon smiled to see where this was going. Once they got ready, the two gamers started and went to battle.

Sorry for being late! Work, other writing projects, and working out! So little time but made it happen. 20 pages?! Damn! Right now, the next chapter will probably be a short one and it will lead to Class 1-A doing some hero training later on. It will be the moment that Kairi will be showing her skills to everyone and see how things will lead to the upcoming Sports Festival. I thought I might make some ideas to have some more characters come in and have quirks of their own. I've been watching a lot of superhero/villain movies and I will tell you that things are gonna get real! Also: I might change the rating on this in the future when it involves intense violence and such. Hope to write more soon and I think I have an idea for Kairi's hero costume. Here's a hint: a local competitor that fought in the King of Iron Fist Tournament with fighting style while part of the family name.
Anyway, I gotta go! Later!
Oh, and BTW: And quirk ideas for Riku and Terra? You choose!
