A/N: This oneshot is right after they defeated the fury in 5x2, because I've always wondered what conversation would take place

(Little mention of swearing words)

They had just defeated the fury and Robin heard Regina asking Snow 'How did you know that would work?' Snow replied that it was just a lucky guess. Robin was curious about what was the lucky guess, so he asked Regina about it while they were walking towards her house.

'I heard Snow saying something about you guys being able to save me because of a lucky guess and I am wondering what that guess was'.

'Well, we found out that if we wanted to save you, someone else would have to give their life in return, so I went to place you and the fury had gone and told that monster to take my life instead. But Snow, Charming, king Arthur and even Leroy had followed me. Snow got a hunch that maybe if more than just one person would sacrifise their life, we could defeat the fury. Turned out she was right.'

Wait, so you went down there on your own and would just give up your life as if were nothing, Robin replied worriedly and a little angry. He was glad that they had been able to save him, but if it would've have cost his soulmates life, it wasn't worth it. He would never be able to forgive himself, never.

'Robin, you are worthy of being saved. I wasn't going to let Roland grow up as an orphan! He already lost him mother, he can't lose his father too. And I won't ever be able to look at myself in the mirror, knowing that you died because of me. I can't lose you Robin.' She had truly been so scared of actually losing him, she couldn't imagine a life without him anymore. And if the price was giving her life so he could live, Regina wouldn't have doubted for even a second.

'And it doesn't matter anyway, we are both still alive, so what's the problem?'

'WHAT IS THE PROBLEM, WHAT IS THE PROBLLEM? WELL THE DAMN PROBLEM IS THAT YOU COULD'VE FUCKING DIED!' He was yelling because he really couldn't believe that she would just throw her life away as if it were nothing, while it meant the world to him.

'WELL I DIDN'T SO CAN WE JUST MOVE ON AND PRETEND AS IF THIS NEVER HAPPENED?!' She was yelling as well now.

'YEAH SURE, JUST PRETEND AS IF MY SOULMATE DIDN'T JUST ALMOST DIE BECAUSE SHE WANTED TO SAVE ME AND EVEN BELIEVES IT TO BE HER FAULT IF I WOULD HAVE DIED INSTEAD!'

'IT WOULD'VE BEEN MY FAULT BECAUSE I HAD TO PAY A PRICE IN CAMELOT AND I DIDN'T. APPERANTLY THE PRICE WAS A LIFE AND SINCE IT WAS MY PRICE IT ONLY WOULD HAVE BEEN FAIR IF IT INCLUDED MY LIFE!'

'I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE FACT THAT IT WAS SUPPOSED BE YOUR DAMN PRICE! YOU KNOW I WOULD DO ANYTHING TO KEEP YOU SAFE!' He was telling the truth, Regina said she couldn't lose him, but he couldn't lose her either.

'I KNOW THAT BUT SO DO I! Now, can we please just go home, I'm tired.' She honestly was, but that wasn't the only thing. She also had a light concussion and a few bruised ribs from her fight with the fury earlier that day. Being slammed against a tree twice isn't exactly good for you she thought. But she wouldn't ever dare to tell Robin about it, he would compeltely lose his mind according to his reaction of this. He won't ever have to find out about it she thought, unless the Charmings would be stupid enough to spill the tea since that's their speciality she added to her thoughts.

'I know, so am I. But don't think this conversation is finished yet Regina.' He wasn't yelling anymore, but he was still clearly angry with her.

'Fine' she simply replied.

By the time they arrived at her house she could barely even stand upright anymore, the whole world was spinning and she found it hard to breathe. Robin noticed and even though he was tired as hell, he didn't hesitate for a moment and just simply took her in his arms and got to their bedroom. He saw she was about to pass out any moment, so he helped her changing into her pajamas. While doing that he noticed there were big bruises on the place of the her ribs.

'Oh my gosh' he just gasped. 'How did that happen?' Regina was afraid of his reaction if he'd find about this, so she looked at him but she only saw concern in his eyes.

She had to cough and she wasn't sure there had been a moment a life she'd felt physically worse than this, well except to Greg's torture then.

'Regina, I think I got to take you to the hospital, you're seriously injured, you should have a doctor look at it.' He spoke calmly but his mind was racing. This looked seriously bad, what if he'd lose her? He was sure he wouldn't survive that.

'Robin I'm fine'. The hospital was the last place she wanted to go right now. Snow had told David to take her to the hosptal after her failed try to rescue Robin, but she had insisted them she was okay and could heal herself. Turned out she couldn't...

'Can you heal yourself'?

'No'

'Regina I don't want to scare you but this looks pretty bad. I can't lose you!' He didn't think there had been any moment in his life he had been more scared, oh wait there was! When Regina got stabbed and almost died in the alternate universe. That still haunted him, he even had nightmares about it. Not that he would tell her.

'Robin I'm sure I'll be just fine. If I get any worse I'll tell you, I promise.' She really hoped this would convince him. And truth be told, she actually thought it would turn out fine. It hurt a lot rigt now, yes. And she would definitely feel miserable for the next week, maybe even two. But it wasn't life threatening, it would heal.

'I know you think your life doesn't matter much, but to to me it means everything. And I'm sure it does to others as well. For sure Henry and Roland, but also Snow and Emma love you and hell probably even Hook cares about you! Even though he'd never admit it.

'You really think so?' She asked unbelievingly he could care so much about her. The former great and terrible Evil Queen. She couldn't really imagine someone could see through her sins and just admire her for who she is.

'I am certain of it.' He gave her a smirk and she couldn't help but laugh a little. Until her face twisted from the pain.

'Hey take it easy love, are you sure you're going to be alright?' He asked softly and worried.

'I will be Robin trust me, I am almost a 100 percent sure of it. And if I wont be I will tell you, I promise.'

'Okay, but if something's wrong you'll immidiately tell me, alright?' Of course he trusted her (with all his heart) but she was a stubborn woman, so he wasn't covinced really easily if she siad she was fine when he could clearly see she wasn't. But he had a feeling it really would be okay this time, so he agreed with it.

'Alright' she answered and gave him a assuring smile.

'Now let's go sleep m'lady.' He was also not at his best after everything that happened today, so he really wanted to sleep.

'Okay thief'. They got into their pajamas and once they were settled under the covers, Robin carefully (so he wouldn't hurt her) pulled her towards his chest and whispered softly in her ear: 'Sweet dreams darling'.

They drifted away after just a few minutes with both a big smile plastered on their faces

A/N: I really liked writing this, I made a scenario about it in my head and decided to write it out. I struggled a lot with how to write it so it's not really good, but I still hope you enjoyed it and if you want, would you please comment what you thought of this so I know what I can improve and if you liked it ;)
