Clemont opened the door to his apartment and found Serena standing there, crying.

"What happened?" he asked.

"I saw Ash kiss a blue-haired girl," she replied, tears streaming down her face.

"Do you want to come in and talk about it?" he asked.

"Sure," she hiccuped.

"Clemont moved out of the doorway, so Serena could enter. He then closed the door behind her and walked her over to the couch. He sat down and gestured to Serena to do the same. "So Ash has a girlfriend," Clemont said, trying to start a conversation.

"Don't remind me," Serena replied, looking down at her feet.

"Who was the blue-haired girl that you mentioned?" questioned Clemont.

Serena suddenly snapped her head towards him. "I don't know. If I knew I would tell you!" she snapped.

"Calm down Serena! You're not going to make this any easier on yourself if you take out your anger on other people."

"Sorry," apologized Serena.

"I know that this is hard for you. We all thought that you and Ash would end up together, but maybe-"

"What do you mean by we?" Serena questioned suspiciously.

"Me, Bonnie, Shauna, Sawyer, Mairin, and even Miette all thought this," Clemont elaborated.

"Wait! Why would Miette think that! She always acted like she liked him!" shouted Serena.

Clemont flinched at her sudden change in volume. "I don't know why. As I was saying, maybe this is a sign that you are meant to be with someone else, instead of Ash, so I would take this as a chance to see what other people are out there," Clemont explained further.

Honestly, Clemont hoped that Serena would realize his feelings for her and maybe have feelings of her own buried beneath her feelings for Ash.

"Okay. I will try. Thanks for helping me feel better!" Serena replied, while reaching over to hug him before standing up from the couch and running out of his apartment.

"No problem Serena," responded Clemont, with a blush forming on his face.
