Naruto woke up early in the morning and sneaked out of his apartment. He leaves towards the Uchiha compound and from there straight towards the woods. He tried to find a small and hard to notice space that he can turn into his hideout. With his [creation, like his mother he can make a small space seem bigger and morph it to his will. It requires a lot of chakra to maintain, but that's not a problem for him.
After searching for a while he found a massive rock that had a hollow space inside, the biggest entrance is only around 30cm tall and 1m wide. Naruto turned into a fox and jumped in, finding the inside quite big around 3x3 or 3x4m and the ceiling is around 140-160 tall. Naruto decided to turn this place into his hideout and was about to apply [creation] but was stopped by Kurama.
"Naruto, before you put the [creation] bring soil and water inside first"(Kurama)
"Why?"(Naruto)
"The last time you do it there was already soil inside the space so you didn't know, but making things from nothing is not easy and required more chakra"(Kurama)
"You have learned how to transform your chakra into fire wind earth and water to be able to use my sage technique, but you haven't tried making earth and water just from chakra, and more importantly you want soil and water that can sustain live so you can't make them from nothing"(Kurama)
"Why can't I make them?"(Naruto)
"Well that is because inside that soil and water, there are many small creatures like bacteria, insects and worms who will help tree, and fish live. Even if you make the soil and water, you can't make the living creatures inside it so it will be hard for plants and animals to live there"(Kurama)
"Ooh! Okay!"(Naruto)
And so with that Naruto thought of a way to put water and soil inside. The soil was easy as he just need to transform into something big like a bear and dig the soil and throw it inside later, putting it inside is a little tricky with the small entrance so he was helped by the foxes, he and Niko lifting the soil inside so Ichigo and Sango can put it neatly inside. With the water he used his [creation] to make a pathway so the water could flow to the place he wanted, it takes chakra but he didn't mind. With that done, he put some stone and rock to close the entrance before making the [creation] core.
Unlike his mother he needs a long time to make the hideout bigger and multiplying what is inside with [creation, his chakra control is still not on par with her. Though if it's only creating something simple such as wind, fire and mist, it's pretty easy for him.
It takes him until sunset to finally complete the task and walk back home. But he was forced to stop after feeling the negative emotions coming from ahead. Many people have gathered with weapons and torches, screaming "demon" as they march towards the direction of his apartment.
Naruto hides among the trees watching the villagers go. He could feel some shinobi hiding around too. But none of them are there to help him, they are almost emotionless, they're in deep despair or depression though they bury it with a sense of duty.
Naruto just stays there and keeps an eye on them, though he leaves his stuff in the apartment, he has put it in a safe place and inside a small [creation] space below the tile.
The villagers break into his apartment, and Naruto could feel their surprise. Naruto keeps a close eye on the shinobi, they're surprised too and they move to try and find him. Naruto blend with the tree he hide on just in case there are a byakugan user among them, even if he became invisible, with byakugan they could potentially see his shape, especially with the thinner chakra around the air, but on the ground and tree it's different, the chakra is denser so he could blend in easily.
In addition to that he created a clone as a decoy just in case so that the shinobi would find the decoy first if they managed to sense something. He knows they have similar techniques called shadow clones so he has to be careful that those shinobi are doing the same thing.
Naruto keeps being alert as he and his clone hide, the clone being slightly more visible just hiding his chakra and hiding above the tree without being invisible. There is no sign of them finding him and while still alert he observes the villagers, they already destroyed his apartment, door, furniture, bed, everything they could put their hand on was destroyed, some were even burned.
Naruto sends his clone to sneak into his apartment and find anything useful still left. Except for the stuff he hides below the tile, he only can find a kitchen knife and a sturdy frying pan. Other than that, it was either destroyed or burned. The clone picks up everything and brings it to the new hideout While Naruto gets back slowly while making sure no one is around.
As he hasn't eaten since morning, Naruto heads out to the river to catch some fish with the foxes. Catching enough fish for all of them he starts a fire to cook them. Naruto sits in front of the fire, waiting for the fish to cook. But suddenly someone entered his sensing range, he wanted to quickly hide everything but the person noticed him faster than he predicted, they changed direction towards him and moved at a really fast pace.
Naruto knows he can't hide anymore, so he overlaps himself with a clone then quietly takes a step back in case of danger. The clone looked at the person coming towards him, red eyes stared back at his own, a young man with wavy black hair staring down at him.
"An Uchiha"(Kurama)
Naruto kept his eyes on the man, he smiled knowing the man didn't judge him, on guard but not sceptical.
"Yo, what's your name? And why are you in the middle of a forest alone?"
"I'm Uzumaki Naruto, and I'm not alone, my friends are with me"(Naruto)
Naruto said as he pointed at the foxes, the foxes are on guard too, they couldn't be at ease with someone like this near and they didn't know if he is friend or enemy yet.
"Ah is that so, I'm sorry then. But why are you here so late in the night? Won't your parents be worried?"
"Ahh, that… I'm an orphan so no one would be worried about me, and I'm hiding here right now"(Naruto)
"Hiding? You didn't do Anything bad did you?"
"It's not like that… by the way, what's your name nii-chan?"(Naruto)
"I'm Uchiha Shisui. So, why are you hiding then if you didn't do anything bad?"(Shisui)
"Well, i was walking home this afternoon you see, then i see angry villagers destroying my apartment so i run into the forest and hide here"(Naruto)
Naruto goes right to the most important part. He didn't need to know what he did before that.
Shisui frowned hearing Naruto's words.
"Why would the villagers do that?"(Shisui)
It seems Shisui didn't know or recognize him. Naruto did hear bad rumors about the Uchiha from his adventure these two days so there is a possibility that the Uchiha were not informed of him.
"Oh you don't know? They all call me the demon child, here look"(Naruto)
Naruto said as he got closer to the fire so that his features could be seen clearly. Shisui was surprised, not because of the feature but because he recognized him.
"Hey nii-chan, why don't you sit down and eat with us? There's plenty for everyone"(Naruto)
Naruto overed, he didn't show any hostility towards him, so it should be safe to be around them, the ninja that is currently searching for him might be wary too if they found him with an Uchiha and hopefully that would make them stop trying to get him for now.
"Well i guess I'll take your offer"(Shisui)
"You know, I heard the villagers talking bad things about the Uchihas too sometimes"(Naruto)
"*Sigh*... I see, what do you think?"(Shisui)
"Well they're the kind of people who call me demon and hate me just because I look like this, why should I trust them?"(Naruto)
Naruto said, mocking them.
"Hahaha, I guess that's make sense"(Shisui)
"But what are you going to do now? Do you have anywhere to go?"(Shisui)
"Well I guess I'm back to living in the forest, well nothing bad, I've been living like this for a long time"(Naruto)
Shisui was concerned, he can't leave him here alone, but it's dangerous too to bring him back to the village. He can bring him to the Uchiha compound for the night and send him off in the morning when no one notices, though it will be troublesome if someone finds out, it would be worse if the kid disappears again when he sees him.
"Then what about you stay in my place for the night? We can tell the hokage of what happened in the morning. Though we should at least do something about your hair, the mark on your face can pass as Inuzuka's mark. And your eyes, what do we do"(Shisui)
Using genjutsu or henge would be bad with the Uchiha. He can mask the hair easily but the eye is a problem. But while he was thinking, Naruto talked to him.
"Is that okay? Well if it's my eye, I can do something about it"(Naruto)
Naruto took a breath and his pupil dilated and the slit shape turned round. His eyes looked normal now except for the unusual red iris, though it's not like there's no red iris besides sharingan so it should be fine.
"Well that's better I guess, but is that normal for your eyes to change like that?"(Shisui)
"It is, when I'm relax my pupil is round like other people's, but I don't normally relax myself with me living in the forest full of predator and living in the village with the villagers after me"(Naruto)
"Ahh so that's how it is. Well anyway let's mask your hair color and get going"(Shisui)
Using the ash from the fire Naruto masks his hair color and they go towards the Uchiha compound. The guard was handled by Shisui saying that it's the hokage's order and that Naruto would stay with him for the night.
Arriving at Shisui's house they were greeted by a kind looking woman, Shisui's mother, Shizuka. She has long wavy hair similar to shisui's and a quiet demeanor. They lead him to his room and Naruto goes straight to bed.
In the morning Naruto and Shisui head to the hokage's office to meet with Sarutobi. Early in the morning Sarutobi already has many documents he has to sign on his desk by the time they arrive. Shisui explained what he knows.
"Is that so, I'm sorry Naruto, I'll handle this so don't worry"(Hiruzen)
"Okay…"(Naruto)
"But where did you go before you went home that afternoon, Naruto?"(Hiruzen)
"Hmm? Ah I was collecting vegetables from the forest since morning and when I go back… well you already know"(Naruto)
"But why didn't you just buy it in the market?"(Hiruzen)
"Hokage, are you seriously asking that after they burn and destroy my apartment?"(Naruto)
Naruto frowned, he knows the Hokage already knows what happened and just acting, but isn't he looking down too much on him?
"Naruto, calm down now, you shouldn't bother getting mad at people like this"(Kurama)
Hearing his mother Naruto calm himself down, but still keeping the frown to keep up the act.
"Ah that is right, I'm sorry. Alright for now, Shisui you stay with Naruto until I'm done handling this problem, I'll send someone to inform you later when it's done"(Hiruzen)
"Yes Hokage-sama!"(Shisui)
And with that they left the hokage office and went back to Uchiha compound. Naruto was back to his usual appearance when they arrived as he doesn't need to hide anymore.
