Since the day I was born I had dreams about people I've never met, places I haven't visited and voices that might no longer talk once again
This was a gift that was given to all the kanassans that lived through all kinds of problems, dangers and well... the good things also change how we perceive the world
Depending on my mood the dreams are different, so we all need to be healthy and keep going through everything no matter the problem that shows up we need to keep pushing forwards, to do so, you need a strong body, an unbreakable spirit and a peaceful mind that's what differentiates a kanassan from an animal
The Mind is the strongest resource a sentient being has
If you cannot control your mind
You won't be able to feel, talk, think, perceive, or know
And without those you're not a person
So, that's how our ancestors kept us alive, and that's how the soldiers go on missions where they could lose their lives without a care about that event
This is a secret well hidden from the other races
But other than high levels of raw physical features, they don't seem to care that much
I have always thought about how different life would be on other planets
How far could they go?
Are they peaceful?
What do they eat?
That kind of questions vary a lot honestly, so much I couldn't even keep the count
I remember one day when the elder of the village told us a lot about ourselves
He talked about the scales that protects our skin
Those scales could change depending on how strong or old someone is
Which when we started as a civilization indicated the strength and wiseness of someone and that's how as a community we decided who ruled over the others
And that caused a long list of problems and division between us such as:
-Why would he in specific be better compared to this other option
-We don't want him ruling
-He cannot rule
-His body is weak, a weak leader makes an even worse army
As a result, that lead to different cities made with very different beliefs
Where I live is a gray area of opinions, but well that is a topic for another day
With the passage of time, people change
So nowadays we don't really care about that anymore
Because it was never important to begin with
Anyways... I should probably stop rambling about all of this and think about what happened yesterday
Peech seems to be very confident with Chayo around, so they're probably close, or they work together
About the proposal of training, I'll go with them to get to know each other and get something out of it
I sometimes help the Innkeeper with cleaning or fixing the beds, but that's about it
Well, unless you consider walking some kind of training
If this ends up being a trap, I will be prepared
The trick that didn't work... was because there was no one around
I'm pretty sure if there's someone nearby, I am gonna be able to talk with them
They don't seem to be bad people though
I didn't see anything in their eyes other than fighting spirit
Heh... maybe they like fighting a little too much
I need to practice some more if I want to actually improve
Just in case they ask me questions, I need to be ready for that too

Koi: Cya tomorrow!

Koi would run towards the place where he last saw Chayo and Peech
Peech: He sure is taking his time
Peech: Maybe he isn't even going to show up
Peech: So, what do we do if he doesn't show up?
Chayo: Well, we just continue or mission
Chayo: Like we were assigned to do
Chayo: Without slacking
Chayo: I haven't seen you do too much

Chayo: Since Peech already tried out your current limitations

Chayo: Aight kid, we will start first with training your body

Chayo: And after you finish we will rest to continue tomorrow and the day after
Chayo: Until you show some kind of progress, we won't stop

Chayo: That you will do so many things you are going to probably leave
Chayo: It's all about fortitude
Koi: Well, I'd say the best time to start is now
Peech: Hey, wait up
Peech: You haven't eaten anything, right?
Peech: I don't see you very full
Peech: And considering you were late, I don't think you had time to eat
Peech: You first eat and after that we can continue
Koi: Come on...
