Harry found himself alone again after the blue flame that is now Hermione faded back into the enchanted torch. He took stock of the earthen and rock chamber he found himself in. Seeing nothing of note to take with him, Harry gingerly stood up.
Despite being in an enchanted sleep for Merlin knows how long, Harry felt better than he ever had. With the inital soreness of awaking on a stone table gone, he was able to tell that not only had the ritual healed him of the mortal wound he apparently had, but also every other ailment he had as well. All of the various scars he had from his tender love and care from the Dursley family were gone. His left knee was no longer stiff from that time Dudley broke it Harry Hunting and it was left to heal on its own. Thankfully, Harry's magic saw it healed but it still tended to ache depending on the weather.
Harry strode from the room, both confident and wary. The hall leading to his awakening chamber was long, and it ended with a long staircase headed up into the bright sunlight.
Walking to the only exit, Harry only could think about how naked he felt without his wand. His memories were hazy at best and he couldn't remember the last time he had it. Praying internally that he wouldnt hit any foul magic on his escape, he had just made it a step onto the landing when something didn't feel right. Magic washed over him. It felt familiar, but he couldn't quite place it.
Loud grinding and the swirling of magic drew Harry's attention behind him. In a shadowy nook off the hall he just traveled, a glowing blue light swirled around what from a distance appeared to be a rusty metal figure.
Suddenly it jolted up and took gasping breaths. Glowing red eyes met Harry's and the only thought going through his mind was, oh Merlin I slept for too long, as he frantically looked around for something to defend himself with.
All the while Harry kept his eyes on the metal figure as it seemed to slowly awaken.
"Harry! Bloody hell it worked! Luna is a genius," a voice loudly exclaimed from within the rusted silver golem. It began to pat down its arms legs, as if to check everything was still attached an accounted for.

The metal gollum stood about 6 feet tall and was composed mostly of a silver colored metal that had begun to rust. Now that the construct was standing and powered on, Harry could make out a glowing rune path etched onto its surface. The longer it stood there, the brighter the red glow became. Suddenly, the metal man leapt towards Harry with its arms out stretched in front of it, grabbing at him.

Harry stiffened and just knew deep down that it was all over for him now. Done in by a tin can. Sirius would never let him live it down.

"Jeez, you think 'mione could have woken you up a couple hundred years ago, I ran out of things to do centuries ago!"

Harry suddenly jerked back, not only was the robot hugging him but he just realized where he recognized the voice and magical feel.

"...Ron? Is that you??"

Harry took a deep breath and looked around. He and Robo-Ron, as he called himself, were sitting on some downed tree logs a fair distance from the cave.
"What happened to you? Are you dead too like Hermione and her torch?"
Robo-Ron gazed into the distance, obviously gathering whatever thoughts a metal man has. Harry took a moment to look around him. They were in a small mountain range, sitting on the felled evergreens. From their high advantage, Harry could see the entire valley below. It was clearly summertime, as the air was hot and stuffy with the afternoon sun blazing in the distance. He could see a small town below, and in the far distance what he saw made his skin turn a deathly pale.
"Is that...Hogwarts?"
Ron sighs, at least he plays a recorded sigh.
"You missed a lot Harry. I'll do my best to catch you up with what I know. I'll start from the beginning I suppose then.
We, me, you and Hermione that is, were fleeing the Death Eater's after escaping Malfoy Manor. Hermione was in a bad way from Bellatrix and in a moment of panic, you apparated us here..."
Harry began to panic when upon landing at their destination as Hermione began to seize from multple bouts of Bellatrix's Crucio curse. Ron was hovering over her forcing potions down her throat telling her to hold on. Once she was stablized enough, they levitate her into the cave and out of sight.
"Mate, sorry but where the fuck are we?" Ron asks Harry after they've gotten Hermione situated on a large stone table resting.
"It's the cave that Sirius would stay at. I know it's close to Hogsmeade, but I panic apparated. We can move again as soon as we are able."
Ron nods and looks back to Hermione's still but breathing form.
They were able to rest the night waiting for Hermione to reawaken, and the next morning they were cleaning up their presence and planning out what to do next when it happened.
The proximity ward Harry had set the night before blared in his head.
"Shit. We have incoming DE's, I can't tell exactly how many but it is a lot."
With nowhere to go, and apparation out after Ron tried and failed, the golden trio looked at each other, and braced themselves for battle.

"We fought valiantly, especially you mate. We had gotten all of them, we thought, and just turned to regroup when it happened. One of them wasn't dead and fired at us from behind, the coward. You jumped in front of Hermione, I think you knew she was still not at her best. You went down like a rock, and I got the bastard immediately after. It was too late though, you were fading fast and there wasn't anything we could do. Until Hermione got frantic anyway. She... cut her palm and started drawing all over you with her blood. I tried to ask her about it, but she told me she would tell me everything once she was done, she had to work quickly. Suddenly, you started glowing blue and a huge energy ball thing formed around you. Hermione...started screaming. I ran to her, but the light grew too bright and I was knocked unconcious. When I came to, I was outside the cave and you both were nowhere to be found."
Harry and Robo-Ron sat in silence for a moment. Harry had remembered as Ron was talking and was going over it in his head with fresh eyes.
"I tried to get back into you both, but the blue light sealed the cave. The furthest I could go is where you found this construct."
"I'm sorry Ron, you know we would never leave you on pupose," Harry said quietly.
Robo-Ron smiled at Harry. At least, Harry thinks he did.
"No worries mate, I know. After I couldn't get back inside, I headed back to find the others. I found Luna and Neville first, and ended up staying with them and being Luna's research assistant. Not long after you disapeared, that appeared."
Ron gestured to Hogwarts in the distance.
"He slaughtered everyone who wasin the castle, only a few had managed to escape. He took the muggles next, turned them against each other and started WWIII. He lives there with the Death Eater Army and rules the world with an iron fist. Humanity is on it's last legs, and the muggles and magicals live together and fight as one. Luna was a bloody genius too, once the war started the statute fell. She became obsessed with technology and artifical intelligance. Her and Neville had two kids before he was killed. Luna was never really right after that, but it led to the breaththrough that brought about her greatest invention," the robo man sat tall and his metal face curved into what Harry assumed was a proud smile,
"Me!"
