Chapter 31: the soul becomes thor
The Gang was standing in the Council of Lions' room, their souls shaken. Their hearts, shaken. Kakyoin, Jotaro and Katara. They were all that was left.
Zuko was also there, but is he really part of the team if no one is overly fond of him? Katara felt the pain of loss as if she would never be healed. Jotaro also felt pain but also comfort in knowing the answers, finally. Kakyoin was pissed and frankly done with this whole adventure. But he felt enough loyalty to his companions to not desert them. Zuko thought or felt nothing at all.
"NOW WE SHALL GIVE YOU NEW POWERS TO DEFEAT THE SCUM ROBERT OF SPONGE." Mufasa sighed because he didn't want to give the Gaang powers cause he was just a jerk like that.
As soon as the Gaang heard the word 'powers' they became ecstatic, being the power hungry people they were.
"KATARA, ROBERT'S WEAKNESS IS WATER, AND THAT IS GOOD BECAUSE YOU ARE INDEED A WATERBENDER. BUT YOU NEED GREATER POWA TO KILL ROBERT. HE IS A DEVIL WHO KILLED THE DEVIL HIMSELF. HE IS HARD TO KILL." Katara tried to look really mature and ready for a big power. She hoped to get something epic like a bomb.
"THIS IS MJOLLNIR, YOUNG ONE. KEEP IT WELL." Simba levitated Mjollnir to Katara who took it in her fingers and hands.
A.N: Okay woah! Katara? Worthy of Mjolnir? This is definitely quite the twist! Perhaps she is a better person than we thought all along.
The second Katara touched the hammer, her body rippled with power. The room burst with golden light and the ground shook. Kakyoin, Jotaro and Zuko shielded their eyes as Katara was enveloped by lightning and power. It was as if a tornado of power had come into the room. Wind began blowing, and Kakyoin, Jotaro and Zuko had to hang on to a pillar so they wouldn't be blown away. Jotaro's hat was blown off his head, the hat he had bought with Appa's life.
"GOOD FREAKIN' GRIEF!" Jotaro screamed and cried. He NEEDED his hat. But the wind did not stop.
Suddenly, a crack of thunder hit the room, destroying the room! The ball of energy began to float into the sky. Simba, Aslan and Mufasa began to scream in harmony to put the room back together because they had that power because the Council can do anything.
Suddenly, the ball of crackling light and energy was gone… and there was Katara! She was floating in the air majestically like she was Thor which she was now because she had Thor's hammer. She was wearing a new suit that looked like Thor's suit but it wasn't because it was wet. But not with water, with gel so it would stay wet and it was wet for two reasons. It was wet to make it obvious that she was a waterbender from the watertribe. The other reason is because she needs liquids to conduct electricity because now she is the god of thunder.
"I AM THOR!" Katara screamed and bellowed with strength and coolness. Kakyoin, Jotaro and Zuko's jaws dropped to the floor and the jaws bled because they dropped. Katara now had immeasurable power.
"Um, Katara, I get that this power is really great and stuff, but I don't think you should have that hammer. Don't judge me for my opinions guys, but I just don't think women should have that kind of power. It's just not the natural order of things. It's firelord, not firelord-ess. Just saying." Zuko said.
But Zuko was ignored.
Kakyoin began to dance and sing, because he was happy. Why? Because he was glad his friend Katara had new powers and is powerful now.
Katara levitated down onto the marble floor and she fell to the floor and then looked up and her eyes pierced everybody's souls. Why? Because her eyes weren't blue anymore. They were golden and white LIKE LIGHTNING. Then she stood up and raised up her Hammer and a bolt of Lightening went to her Hammer and everything shook and it was insanely epic you don't even know.
"UPON YOU WE HAVE BESTOWED UNLIMITED POWER OF THE THUNDER GOD!" Aslan said to Katara. Katara looked at The Council, her God eyes full of anger!
"Tooketh the longeth enow, thee oafs! i shouldst has't hadst this pow'r longeth ago! i couldst has't did save many people from the wrath of robert of sponge!" Katara shouted with intensity and sparking with lightning. Everyone was so shocked. Not only had Katara just directly insulted the council, but she did it in a really fancy old fashioned way!
"SILENCIO. NO MORE WORDS." The Council all said in unison. Katara nodded with honor.
"So beest t, council of lions. I thanketh thee f'r this pow'r thee has't given me. I shalt useth t to purge the evil of robert of sponge from these lands. On this day, alloweth the halls of this earth bruit with joy, f'r i shalt smiteth the bastard robert! i shalt taketh mine own lodging as the thunder god, Thor!"
It was done. Katara had taken her place as the god of thunder, and perhaps the bringer of balance and peace to this world. You may be asking why because Katara is a tad too selfish to really be able to put others needs before her own. And your concerns are valid. But it was the council's decision, not mine.
