Dipper spun around and saw the kid from the picture. He asked, "W - who are you?"
Timmy raised an eyebrow, "Uh shouldn't I be asking you that? I mean... you are in my cave."
Dipper stammered, "O - oh right..." He cleared his throat and introduced, "My name is Dipper Pines."
Timmy ignored the crack in his voice and replied, "I'm Timmy." He looked at the monitor and asked, "Is that your hometown?"
Dipper looked at the monitor for a second and then back at him. "Uh no... I was, well..." That's when Dipper froze. Mabel. He breathed, "Mabel!" He turned back to the monitor and tried and different to put in new coordinates. He complained, "Come on!"
Timmy walked over to him and hit the side of the computer. He monitor turned back on. Dipper breathed a sigh of relief. He looked again at the monitor again and saw that they were looking at the Mystery Shack. And nothing was happening there.
Dipper groaned, "Aw man..."
Timmy asked, "Who's Mabel?"
Dipper sniffled, "My twin sister. Our parents shipped us up north to Gravity Falls, Oregon so we could get some 'fresh air'."
Timmy got a bit curious, "No offense but why would they ship you up there to be alone?"
Dipper replied, "Well we stayed with our Great Uncle Stan. We call him Grunkle Stan for short."
Timmy nodded and offered, "You know, my...uh friends could help you get to Gravity Falls pretty quickly."
Dipper perked up as he asked, "Wait really?" He then remembered something his Grunkle Ford once wrote in the journal. He whispered, "Trust no one..."
Timmy questioned, "Huh?"
Dipper explained, "Look thanks for the offer but I rather get back to Gravity Falls on my own."
Timmy shrugged, "If you insist." He went up to the monitor, typed in a few things, and suddenly a motorbike appeared. He went over to it, putting on a helmet, and sat on it. He added, "i got to get to Vegas anyhow. I've got to save my friends."
With that, Timmy drove out of the cave. Dipper followed for a minute and saw that Timmy had accidentally crashed into a van. It was a M.E.R.F van and two agents were in it, doing surveillance.
Mr. White said, "Well well well. Just the man M.E.R.F's looking for."
Before Dipper even knew what was happening, the van pulled away and drove off.
Dipper breathed, "Timmy!" He got out the memory gun. He pointed at another M.E.R.F agent, Mr. Hanna. He told him, "Let him go!"
Mr. Hanna picked up Dipper by the vest and turned to Mr. Barbera. "Who's he?"
Barbera shrugged, "We can run his information." He brought out a high tech phone and pointed it at Dipper, who was still struggling. He added, "Names Dipper Pines. From Piedmont, California. Son to Alex and Dana Pines."
Hanna asked, "Any siblings?"
Barbera answered, "One named Mabel." He turned to Dipper and asked, "Did that alien dissect your sister?"
Dipper was exasperated as he started to say, "What?! No, of course not. Mabel..."
Hanna turned to Barbera and stated, "We should get ahold of his folks. Let them know we've got the alien."
Barbera nodded in agreement. Before Dipper could protest, the M.E.R.F agents put him in their car and drove 30 minutes to Piedmont.
...
Alex and Dana Pines couldn't believe it. Their son, treated like a criminal. And the agents went on about aliens abducting their daughter. When they finally got them to leave, Dipper was curled up into a ball on his bed. Alex was at the doorway while Dana sat on the bed with Dipper.
Dana told her son, "You know we can't help you if you don't tell us what happened."
Dipper sniffled as he looked at his parents. Alex had brought in the letters that Mabel had mailing them.
He asked, "And is your sister eating raw sugar packets again?"
Dipper couldn't believe his eyes. She really... All of the sudden the tears started to roll down his face. Dana held him close, allowing for him to cry. He sobbed on her shoulder.
He finally managed to say, "I... don't know what happened to Mabel..."
...
Awhile later, Dipper had finally managed to calm down. He barely was able to tell his parents anything but based on Mabel's letters, he didn't really have to. He finally managed to join his parents, who were watching TV. Alex walked over to his son.
He asked, "You okay now?"
Dipper admitted, "Honestly? No. I'll feel better once I get back to Gravity Falls."
Dana started to ask, "But what about Timmy..."
All of the sudden, a news bulletin came in.
The reporter said, "This is Tom Melsa, here to report that the statue smasher slash quarter thief is making his way to Las Vegas. But just like all of the stars being missing in the sky, the government assures us that nothing to worry about."
Dipper repeated, "All of the stars in the sky are missing?"
Dana replied, "Yes every since this afternoon."
Dipper told them, "We have to help Timmy!"
Alex questioned, "You want to help a boy you barely know?"
Dipper explained, "He was willing to help me and he barely knew me. I should've taken his offer..."
Dana turned off the TV and asked, "You ready to go to Vegas?"
Dipper smiled as he joined his mom and dad. Alex locked the door and they went on their way.
...
Meanwhile, Timmy had managed to find his fairies. They were gum but at least he found them.
Timmy commented, "Jorgen said that he had to protect you. But this is what he came up with? Gum?"
Wanda questioned, "Protect us? From what?"
Timmy explained, "I don't know if this is gonna make any sense but...the Darkness is back."
Cosmo and Wanda cried out in unison, "The Darkness is back?!"
The news was so surprising that Cosmo's bubble popped. Timmy caught his gumball fairies.
He added, "Yeah and you have to help me find the White Wand. I'm the Chosen One."
Wanda asked, "Wait? You are? I thought it was Turbo Thunder..."
Timmy told her, "Well it was. Apparently he didn't answer the call."
Wanda stated, "So the Eliminators are after you too?"
Timmy responded, "Yes but they won't find me as long as you don't say my name."
Cosmo asked, "You mean Timmy Turner?"
All of the sudden, the young boy was surrounded by Eliminators.
Timmy groaned, "Should have seen that coming."
