The next day, the Loud family decided to go to the park for the day.
Lana, as per usual, was playing in the mud making her famous mud pies.
Most kids because of this found her very weird. She didn't care though what other people think of her, as long she gets dirty and has fun it's fine with her.
Meanwhile, in the tall grass area of the park, a strange blue portal had open up.
Coming from the portal was small green creature with a plant attached to it's back.
It decided to wander around the new area, only to see Lana making her mud pies.
"Soon you'll be perfect. Just wish Hops was still around tho." Lana says with a soft sight.
She just lost her beloved frog friend a week ago, yet the pain still clearly there.
The green creature, now even more curious, decides to walk towards her.
All seemed normal, that is until some random little girl at the park saw the strange thing walking towards Lana.
"Aaahhhh! it's a monster!" Girl screamed and ran away.
"Cool a monster! Were?" Lana asked, her mood lifted at the prospect of finding another reptile to bring home.
As she turned around though, she only was faced with some to strange light green creature with a plant attached to it's back.
She only had one thing in her mind to say about this strange animal.
"Did Lisa made you?" Lana asked.
She won't be suprised if Lisa did, as it seems the usual in the Loud house these days.
A mutation? A plant robot? Lana could only guess what Lisa decided to make of this creature.
Still, Lisa could be looking for it, or it could be some foreign endangered animal she had yet heard of, either way she was going to find out.
She went and got close to the animal, began to pet it's head, and for a time, seem to enjoy it.
"Aww your so cute and cool...even though you got a giant plant attached to your back makes you even cooler. "Lana said
"Bulba" the creature says.
"Do you want to come live with me little guy?" lana asked, "Could always use more friends."
The Bulbasaur nodded it's head excitedly.
Lana gets to her feet and smiles, "Okay then! Lets go over to Mom in the little kid part of the park where she's watching Lily. Hopefully Mom will let me keep you, since I don't have Hops and all. Still, the other animals I got around will love you!"
"Bulbasaur!" Bulbasaur says while he followed Lana to the small playground area.
People that have been near the Louds are used to the unusual for sure, but when people at the park saw the strange thing...or plant-animal thing, following lana around they decided to actual document such a creature by taking it's picture, some even video taping it.
And boy when it came on the internet, MANY people understandably freaked out, especially a particular group of fans of a certain game community...
At the loud house
Lincoln didn't feel like going to the park with the rest of his family.
He had just finished feeding his Pikachu, whom enjoyed the ear scratches the boy was giving.
He was still amazed he founded a real, actually caring for a real (italic this-) living, breathing pokemon on his bed.
Oh yeah, he decided to do some reasearch, and low and behold the mouse he found turned out to be one of the mystic creatures of the video game franchise he's just start playing (which said Pikachu loved to watch him doing so.).
"Now that your done eating. How about we give you a name?"
Pikachu looks up at the boy, nodding excitedly as Lincoln thinks for a moment, but not without giving some ear scratches.
"How about...Thor? Sunny? Zap?"
The Pikachu apparently liked the last one, and so Zap was official.
"Now, lets go do something fun...like, try to figure out how you come to our world?" Lincoln says questionly, as even he wasn't too sure where to start.
"Pika." Zap says with a smile, eager too to figure such out.
"I now have full responsibility to take care of you, but I worry that if one of my sisters sees you then they'll try to keep you from me." Lincoln said.
Zap shakes his head, as there was no one he was going to be by anyone's side but Lincoln.
Lincoln grabbed his laptop from his bedside and opened it up, tabs already with research Lincoln did awhile ago.
I've mostly tried to research of Pokemon in general. The stories, the characters, the evolutions...speaking of, do you want to evolve to Raichu? I can see according to this site, there's two versions, which one you'd evolve too I have no clue."
Zap looks at the two Raichus, and shrugs, as he isn't really against it, but wants to get stronger first.
"Wanna wait and see?" Zap nods, "Okay, than lets see what you can possible do at the moment."
He typed in 'Pikachu' and waited for the results to come on screen.

It has made numerous appearances on the boxes of spin-off titles.
"That's interesting but what does he do in the wild, how does he live?" Lincoln said as he keeps searching.
Pikachu just lay next to Lincoln and eventually falls asleep to the repeated petting.
A wild Pikachu live in groups in forested areas. Pikachu communicate amongst themselves using squeaks and tail-shaking as friendly gestures. In the anime, Alolan Pikachu are known to greet each other by sniffing one another and rubbing their tails together. Electricity can be used to receive and send messages with each other, as well as other Electric Pokémon species.
"So you can send each other friendly messages by electric. That's nice, but I wonder if I can find some idea of how you got here."
Meanwhile, Lana was enjoying some time with her new pet following her home.
When all the sudden she saw a small group of people following her, taking pictures of the animal, and quickly upped her pace before bumping into the girl from before.
"Ah...are you okay?" Lana asked.
"..." The girl remand silent.
"Do you think she's okay Hops 2? She looks like she want to say somet-" Okay, so she didn't have an exact name yet, but she was working on it. Still, Lana was then interrupted by the girl.
"OH MY GOD! " The girl said, pointing to said creature.
"IT'S A REAL POKEMON! " The girl said looking very excited now, her fear gone as she babbles of different Pokemon, her favorites, and overall confusing Lana even more.
Was this a dream? A messed up reality?
Lana was so confused, but first...
"...What's a Pokemon?" Lana asked.
The girl gasped, couldn't believe what Lana had just said.
"You never heard of Pokemon!? There like the most popular and famous video and card game ever! It's even got an anime. And here you are with a real, living Bulbasaur as your friend! Ugh I wish it was something cooler like a Charmander or a Squirtle, but..." The girl seemed to go on for hours.
And Lana though Lola was a blabber mouth...
Lana then looks down at her Bulbasaur, than back at the girl.
"Okay...so what is Pokemon about? Do they live overseas?" Lana asked.
The girl only sighs, before sitting the two down on the sidewalk, explaining the fascinating world of Pokemon.
Lincoln was enjoying playing with Zap.
He showed him his favorite toy bun bun, which Zap just sniffed at.
Lincoln though after hours of searching, couldn't find anything that might explain how Zap got here, let alone why.
But at least he'd only have to wait until dad gets back, and then he'd get to keep Zap truly.
"Cha." Zap says.
"I can't believe I couldn't find anything that explains why, nor how you got here...I wonder if there is any more pokemon that entered our world?" Lincoln says as he scrolls through the internet.
"Pika, pikachu." Zap replies as he puts one of his small paws on Lincoln's shoulder with a smile.
The boy sighs at the mouse, putting the computer away before smiling and petting Zap, "True, but who is smart enough to figure this out...?" Lincoln told Zap, "But tomorrow I got school, and I can't just leave you here all alone by yourself..." Lincoln says as he tries to think of just what to do for tomorrow.
"Pika?" Zap says as he tilts his head in confusion.
"Lincoln could you come down here please." Rita shouts from downstairs.
Lincoln wondered what Mom might want, perhaps Dad was home?
Zap could of just sat on Lincoln's bed, but instead followed him down to the living room, were he saw Lana holding a Bulbasaur (He did research more of other Pokemon too), Lisa standing across from her, studying such a creature.
"This is absolutely amazing! How does this plant creature hybrid able to survive with this plant attached to it's back without causing the roots from hurting it?" Lisa says as she starts taking pictures of Bulbasaur from all angles.
"Bulba?" The grass type says tilting his head.
"You better not hurt Hops II Lisa!" Lana says to Lisa as she hugged him close.
"I'm not going to hurt it. Also you might want to come up with a better name then that. Now, I just want to know where you got it?" Lisa says as she finishes up her analysis.
"Yeah right, you'll just try later to cut him open, like one of those evil scientist? You'll like that don't you!" Lana shouts angrily at Lisa, tightening her grip on the tiny creature.
"I'm not going to cut him open...how do you know that thing is a boy anyway?" Lisa asked Lana.
Lana place Bulbasaur down, looking sheepishly, "A girl from the park, her name was Rose I think? Anyway, she told me that this is a Bulbasaur and it's a boy." Lana says.
"What girl?" Lisa asks.
Since Lisa saw the videos of her sister with a strange new creature online, she's been wanting to be the very first scientist to study it...all she could think about is what was it doing here, and just how did it get a giant plant attached to it's back?
Lincoln decided to not get involved, and walked to the living room and sit down on the couch next to Zap, waiting for his Mom to come and talk to him of whatever she wants him for at the moment.
Lisa was too busy trying to study Hops II (actual name for creature in process), that she didn't even notice Lincoln's Pikachu.
"Lincoln I can see that you are taking very good of..." Rita walks in starting to say, only a glance at seeing now another strange creature with Lana across in the living room (this she was used too), "Pet, and I'm proud that your doing a great job."
"Thanks mom." Lincoln smiles before looking towards Lana and nearly jumping with glee and anticipation...another case like Zap!
"I can see that Lana got herself a new friend" Lincoln implies as the small creature waves to him and Zap with a vine that pops out of the bulb on his back.
"Yeah, I thought it was one of Lisa's test animals gone rouge, but then I had a talk with girl from the park Rose of what this little guy is, and than a talk from Lisa that she says she had no part of doing anything...this time." Lana explains as she goes over and walks towards the mother and son.
"The only thing that I can't do create life itself." Lisa explains to Lincoln as she too walks over.
"What about Trashy?" Lincoln reminds her.
"I mean I cannot create life out of thin air as this creature, and apparently yours has come to."
"Just don't try to steal Zap for yourself, he belongs to me Lisa" Lincoln says, emphasizing truly that Zap is his and only his. He'd just hope his other sisters get the memo.
"Zap? Who's Zap?" Lisa asked Lincoln with an eyebrow up.
Pikachu waves to Lisa from the couch with a smile.
"Pika, pika."
"Another amazing new kind of animal.! I must study it." Lisa says with excitement, walking so close to Zap that he jumps into Lincoln's lap in and instant. A white streak fades away as he sticks the landing.
"Lisa I don't think Zap likes being study like that." Rita says.
Lincoln on the other hand realized that Zap just used quick attack (whether you want to bold/italic Pokemon moves is up to you), and at a quicker speed than he's seen on some anime clips he's watched of Pokemon recently.
Lisa sighs, "Fine...but any new creatures that arise I will be the first to research!"
Meanwhile...
Rose was waiting outside for Lana, on the same sidewalk they talked on earlier, to tell Lana more of what pokemon are.
But she couldn't wait any longer, she really wanted to see the Bulbasaur again.
She wanted to make sure he's safe and healthy.
Sure, she was envious, but she was also alert of how the girl might not possible know how to feed nor keep the Pokemon happy.
Rose also was sorry she made such a big deal before, as now more people found out that there's a real living Pokemon around the area.
She just hoped the military won't come right away and take the poor Bulbasaur away, might do horrid experiments on him.
She sighs, "I just hope that girl knows what she is doing, if there is one pokemon then there could be even more out there hiding."
