Her mood lifted though, when she realized there had to be more pokemon wondering around town, and she could rescue her very first pokemon before the wrong people find them.
"I still don't know how that Pokemon become real... maybe I could use my free time to search for some more pokemon that might be lost or roaming around town. I'll need someone to help me." Rose thought.
First though, she has got to stay calm and not to get to excited and when she sees the little guy again, so he doesn't run in fear.
Back at the house
"Wait! Lincoln could you please just let me get a blood sample from Zap...or at least try to find him a mate, so I can have one of my own?" Lisa was following Lincoln around the house, after the outback with Zap.
"Pika,pika" Zap sighs shaking his head. He hoped Lincoln's other sisters were like this.
"The answer is still no." Lincoln says for what seemed the hundredth time.
"Ugh fine! But other creature specimens are fair game!" Lisa said before rushing up to her room.
As Lincoln sat on his bed playing his Pokemon game (even 'catching' a Pikachu he just happen to name Zap too), he smiled.
He was glad his father let him keep Zap, as long as he doesn't cause them any trouble for the family.
He knew such could occur, and Lincoln, now knowing of Zap's powers (alongside with further research on future moves) knew he could prepare for it.
"Hey bro, want to play with Hops II?" Lana asked, her Bulbasaur in her arms.
"Bulba." Said little guy smiled at the white haired boy, even if he still wished Lana would think of a better name soon.
Lincoln looks at Zap, whom waves at his fellow Pokemon.
"Alright, but you two got be nice with the rest of our pets alright?" Lincoln says, pointing to said mons.
"Pika pika." Zap nods his head, while Bulbasaur nods in Lana's arms.
Zap then jumps off of Lincoln's shoulder where he suddenly loved to perch on, and began to play with the grass poison type.
Lincoln smiled softly at Lana, as she too played on the ground with the two creatures. He was glad that Lana was happy, especially after Hops passing.
"Lincoln? How many pokemon have been send to this world? And why do people force them to fight each other for?" Lana asked.
Lincoln sighs wondering just how much this Rose girl told Lana, "Well I don't know on how many pokemon are around here, as Zap's the only one I've seen. In the games though, Pokemon would be everywhere, usually in tall grassy areas. The game also explains that when you fight another pokemon, you can level up and get you Bulbasaur to evolve. Making him bigger and stronger."
"Cool! I can't wait to evolve him into a bigger one, how many pokemon are there total in the game?" Lana asked.
" Which version? There are at least eight regions according to their local site." Lincoln says.
"All of them"
Lincoln place his hand on his sister shoulder, "Well it seems over 800, more if more games come out. But there's something else.."
Lincoln explains more in detail of the kind of movies that different pokemon can do, their abilities, and breeding in the form of eggs(No way was Lincoln going to go further on that, cause even he didn't know).
He also told Lana the history of Pokemon (or a brief sum up as it was super long of what he read). How one guy as a kid used to love to collect bugs, and other kids called him the bug master. When he got older he saw a game boy, and thought about catching bugs or trade them. That's were he created the first game versions of Pokemon Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow.
Lisa meanwhile, was now in her room trying to think a way to study those strange animals...or at least find one on her own to study, if she's lucky enough without her other siblings trying to as well.
"There's got to be more of those strange animals roaming in Royal Woods, but where?" Lisa mutters to herself.
She's makes a map of the whole town, placing red dots tact's on locations like the park, and ally way were Lincoln and Lana found there's at, and if she can just pinpoint where her new specimen could appear, she could do it in a nano second.
"It's a long shot, but I'll be able to find one in no time. If I do though, I'll have to be decreed about it, before more news spreads."
Meanwhile, in the forest near the park from before, another portal had just opened up.
Out though came no kind, tiny Pokemon.
No, out came a Nidoking.
So much for news not spreading faster, as people ran in terror as the beast goes around destroying the place up.
In town, Rose was searching for any kind of helpless pokemon.
In the tall grass, nearby lakes, in trees, and even looked in the trash can but she couldn't find a single one.
"How did that little girl do it?" Rose sighs.
She then heard some screaming ahead in town.
Rose follow the sound of screaming, only to find what to be a angry Nidoking.
She saw it was mostly going after cars.
"It's a big monster!" Lady shouts.
Nidoking smash a car with his tail, the car reduced to rubble.
Rose pull out her phone. "Come on! Hurry up and load already!" Rose said as she began to read the information on the online version of the pokedex.
Biology Nidoking is a large, bipedal, purple Pokémon with distinct reptilian features. It has narrow eyes, large, spiny ears, fur-like tufts on its cheeks, and a short snout filled with pointed teeth. There is a long, venomous horn on its forehead and a ridge of spines down its back. Gray plates cover its chest and belly, and there is a gray, rounded spine on each elbow. Each hand has three claws, while each foot has only a single hoof-like nail. It has a long, powerful tail.
Nidoking is a male-only species. It is said that Nidoking's tail is capable of toppling a metal transmission tower. Nidoking uses this tail to smash, constrict, or break the bones of its prey and enemies. The tail can also be swung to create distance between it and its foes before Nidoking charges. Its steel-like hide adds to its powerful, rampaging charges. Nidoking's horn is powerful enough to crush diamonds. Nidoking is known to be very proud of its own strength. When Nidoking goes on a rampage, it becomes impossible to control. Only a Nidoqueen can calm it down from its rampages.
Rose eyes got big after she read it all, "Okay...enough said."
Meanwhile, Loud family were at home watching some TV, with Zap and Hops II which Lana would rename Thorn, after much thought.
The rest of the loud siblings, still couldn't believe that Lincoln and Lana got their own real pokemon.
After the shock, Lincoln told them as much as he could, leading the others to research as Lola scrolled through channel after channel.
Lisa was still in her room, but came down only to see another strange creature was on tv, the news flickered and blurred but the gist was clear.
"Finally! Another creature to study for my own research!" She ran up to her room and placed a red tact on where she saw the address on the screen, before rushing back downstairs, "I must study it before someone else does!"
She went then ran back upstairs to her closet, and came back down with her her dart gun.
"After I put it to sleep, I'll be a hero, and they'll let me study this amazing creature...I might even be on a magazine." Lisa says with excitement.
"Oh no you don't!" Luna blocks the front door as she glares at her scientist sister, "It's too dangerous! And didn't Mom and Dad sell that gun?"
Lisa smiled nonchalantly, "Noooo..."
"Lincoln can we play with Zap please!" Lola begged, even trying the puppy doll eyes. Lincoln though was quite immune over the years of it.
Lisa tried this distraction as Luna turned to the commotion, only to be blocked yet again by Luna.
"Sorry Lola he's my buddy." Lincoln said, petting Zap, whom nods in agreement.
"But not for long!" She smiled all devil like as she try to grab Zap.
But Zap got off of the couch and ran around, trying to escape from Lola before she gets to get him.
"Pika, pi!" Zap was running.
"Come back here and let me pet you!" Lola said.
"Lola leave Zap alone or else." Lincoln said.
Lola corner Zap at the edge of the room, an evil look covers her face.
"Let me pet you, and then I'll dress you up as a princess." Lola said as she already got out the perfect dress for Zap.
Zap's eyes widen, and with no other choice, fires a thunderbolt at Lola (low powered one, Zap wasn't cruel).
She fell to down ground, needing a moment to realize what had just happened. Her hair spiked up, the air suddenly smelling like a cookout.
The rest of the loud siblings look surprised, minus Lincoln, at Zap as he jump back to the couch next to Lincoln.
The tv flickered due to the electricity attack, leaving the room in silence aside from the low volume of the news channel.
"Dude! What just happened!?" Luna asked, looking at Lola for any serious injuries, while also still blocking the door.
"Zap just electrocute Lola!" Leni shouts.
"That's pretty cool." Lucy smiled softly, making Lana and Thorn whom sat next to her on the floor back up a few paces.
Lily just giggled, "Zap, Zap silly." Clapping her hands before going back to the blocks she was playing with on the floor.
"How does he do that?!" Luna shouts.
"Didn't you forget that Zap is a Pokemon, and such have powers guys?" Lincoln says.
Luna only look at Bulbasaur and wondered, "Isn't Thorn one too? I don't want to get electrocuted before my date with Sam tomorrow."
Lincoln walks over to Bulbasaur, Zap following not wanting another sister to go after him, "Thorn is a grass and poison type Luna, not a electric type. He can't learn such attacks as...I believe that was thunderbolt." Lincoln told Luna whom just shrugs.
Leni just realized something, "Oh my GOSH! There's a really good deal at the mall!" Suddenly rushing out of the house with her purse.
"Should we tell her that the mall is closed?" Luna said.
"She'll figure it out soon enough... let's watch some more tv now." Lincoln says, grabbing the remote and turning the volume back to normal.
Suddenly the screen shows a swat team, trying to take down what looked to be a Nidoking, one Lincoln remembered he saw online while researching.
In the background was clearly burnt and crushed rubble of sorts.
Some tried to surround the Nidoking, and began to use smoke bombs trying to take down the creature.
Lincoln just realized what they had done, "This isn't going to end well." Lincoln said while he watches the news footage.
Zap just stares at the TV. "Pika."
"What do you mean by that?" Lana asked.
"What about Leni! She's ran out there were that thing is?!" Luna said. She points out seeing the mall in the screen, "You know how fast she gets with a sale, she's probably there by now!"
Nidoking's eyes suddenly got red, and began to to go after the men, their bullets from their guns as open fire did nothing but bounce of the creature's armored body.
"Nidoking!" Nidoking growls as he charges towards the men.
Everyone screams, running in terror, a news reporter and her camera man do the same as the screen changes to her.
"We don't know we're this thing has come from, but most people are saying creature is called a Nidoking. Such a thing is from a popular game series called Pokemon. Our swat team are going to try and stop this pokemon. Question is though...how did a Pokemon suddenly came to life? Please stay in doors for your own safety and we will be back with more news on this... Pokemon!"
The screen then turns black.
Lincoln got up with Zap jumping onto his left shoulder, "We have to stop it! Zap do you know the move iron tail?"
The mouse nods, "Pika."
Lincoln smiles, "Good, cause aside from your quick attack, your electric moves won't work. And we need all we got to face it."
"What can you do to stop this pokemon? That thing is huge!" Luna shouts as she keeps blocking the door.
Lana gets up, "Well your forgetting that we got pokemon, that we can use them to take that thing down Luna."
"You can't possibly fight that thing with...them!? There little..." Luna said.
Zap and Thorn glare at Luna as she continues, "What if you get hurt or killed! I'm in charge since the rest of our sisters went to a hotel for a few weeks after what Lori and Lynn did!"
Lincoln and Lana decide to make a dash to the door, with Zap and Thorn that luckily got them through.
"LINCOLN! LANA! COME BACK HERE!" Luna yelled out as she ran to the porch, only to see the two dash off.
She groans, turning around back into the house when she sees Lisa holding a dart gun and science stuff as she too tries to make her way out.
Luna grabs Lisa and stop her from going outside, "Oh no you don't!"
"Hey! What are you doing?" Lisa shouts as she tries to break free from Luna's surprising iron grip on her turtle neck sweater.
Luna brings Lisa back inside, then places her on the couch where Lucy, Lily, and slightly less charred Lola were now sitting, "I'm not letting you go out there to just watch you get killed by that thing!"
Lisa frowns, "But this might be the only chance that I can get to study this creature Luna. Why'd do you let Lincoln and Lana go out for?"
Luna turn red and looks away, "Look they distracted me alright? They ran out and disobeyed me, so I'm going to call mom and tell her were their going and stop them before they get hurt." Luna goes to home phone, "You all stay here so I can see you."
Lisa sighs, knowing well she won't get the chance to escape, not with Luna's devil glare at her and the rest of their siblings as she starts to tell their mother on the phone what's going on.
