Prologue
My name is Leonardo. My brothers and I along with our sensei, Splinter and some of our friends have arrived at the Kalos Region. Ash Ketchum is hoping to win Gym Badges to enter and win the Kalos League. My brothers and I are trying to put an end to the Foot Clan, 'cause Kalos is their main HQ. Once we arrived, Ash tried to enter the Lumiose City Gym, only to find out he can't unless he obtains four previous badges. We then encounter a Trainer named Clemont and his little sister, Bonnie. Ash and Clemont have a Pokémon battle, which was interrupted by Bebop, Rocksteady, Butch and Cassidy. With those four still alive, it's quite obvious that the Shredder, Krang and the Technodrome survived too. During the midst of the battle, a Froakie helps repel them, but gets injured in the process. Just as we were about to interrogate Shredder's four minions, an Officer Jenny and a large squad of cops arrive to arrest not just them, but my brothers, Splinter, Ninjara and I! I just hope we can get out of here before we end up on the list of the most wanted Pokémon!

Episode 20: Lumiose City Showdown
At her home in Vanville Town, Serean was riding on Rhyhorn in order to train to be a Rhyhorn Racer. Serena yelped and screamed as Rhyhorn bucked like a bucking bronco. "Close your mouth! You don't want to bite your tongue. Serena, remember. You got to think like a Rhyhorn," called Grace. "Easy for you to saaaaaaaay!" screamed Serena. "I competed in Rhyhorn races around the world and you can do it too. Stay with it! Be one with Rhyhorn!" said Grace. Serena was sent flying off of Rhyhorn's back and she crashed to the ground. "Or not," said Grace. Serena growled. "Mom! I HATE THIS!" yelled Serena, at the top of her lungs.
Ash and the others ran as searched for Professor Oak's laboratory. "This way! Hurry up!" said Bonnie. "Okay! Froakie, you've gotta hang in there!" said Ash. "Froakie," said Froakie. Clemont was lagging behind as they were running up a slope. "Clemont! Go faster!" said Bonnie. "I'm running as fast as I can! Ash don't wait for me! Get going!" said Clemont. Carrying both Ash and Bonnie's bags was slowing him down. "You got it, Clemont," said Ash. "I can't believe how slow my brother is," said Bonnie.
At that moment, both Casey Jones and Brock saw the Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles, Splinter & Ninjara and their enemies, Bebop, Rocksteady, Butch & Cassidy surrounded by the cops. "Uh-oh! Look's like our ninja friends are in hot water!" said Casey. Casey and Brock began to break off from the others. "Where you going?!" asked Misty. "Don't worry! We'll try to help them talk their way out!" said Brock. "Brock's just doing that to charm Officer Jenny," said Misty, looking embarrassed.
"Hey! What's the big idea?!" asked Raphael. "We're on your side!" said Michelangelo. "You mutants were causing a disturbance," said Jenny. "You don't understand. Those four should be the only ones you should arrest. We're trying to stop them from causing havoc. That one over was shooting a machine gun," said Leonardo. "Tell it to the judge!" said Jenny. "Stop!" said Casey. Casey Jones and Brock entered the area. "What's the big idea, you two?" asked Jenny. "Don't arrest those Squirtles, Raticate and Ninetales," said Brock. "Are they your Pokémon?" asked Jenny. "Why . . . yes. The Squirtles are," fibbed Brock. "But we're . . . ," said Donatello. "Just play along," whispered Brock to Donatello. "The Raticate is mine, but the Ninetales belongs to my girlfriend, April," said Casey.
"Officer Jenny, please don't put the Squirtles, Raticate and Ninetales in lockdown," said Brock. "How'd you know my name?" asked Jenny. "I've met all your other cousins back at Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh. We'll make sure our Pokémon stay out of trouble," said Brock as he held Jenny's hand. Officer Jenny thought for a moment. "Okay. I'll let them go this time," said Jenny. Then, she pointed a finger at Brock's nose. "But . . . if I catch them causing property damage, I will have them and you two busted up!" said Jenny. "Yes, Officer Jenny," said Brock & Casey. "What shall we do with these four mutants?" asked Male Officer #1. "Take 'em to the station. I have some questions for them about why they were wreaking havoc in the streets to begin with," said Jenny. Brock, Casey and the six Pokémon ninjas began to leave. The police began to load the four mutants into a jail truck.
Meanwhile, at a metal foundry in the middle of Lumiose City, the Shredder and Krang had everybody at the foundry all tied up. The security guards were slaughtered like animals. They were carrying sheets of metal as well as wheeling them on carts. "Now this is what I call a successful business day, Master Shredder," said Tatsu. "And there were no Squirtles to stop us since our mutants were distracting them. And speaking of which, I better contact them to see how they're doing," said the Shredder. He took out a handheld communicator to contact Bebop, Rocksteady, Butch and Cassidy. "Bebop, Rocksteady, Butch and Cassidy, this is Shredder calling. We got the metal. Come in," said the Shredder. But all he was getting was static. "Bebop, Rocksteady, Butch and Cassidy. Do you read me?" asked the Shredder. Still no answer. The Shredder let out an annoyed growl. "Why won't they answer?" asked the Shredder. "Something must've happened to them during their fight," said Tatsu. "You go find out what happened. I'll take this metal back to the module," said the Shredder. "Yes, Master Shredder," said Tatsu. Tatsu then left to look for the four mutant goons. The Shredder sighed. "You can't get good help these days," said the Shredder.
Ash, Pikachu, Nancy, Misty, Bonnie and Clemont continued to run to try to find Prof. Sycamore's lab. "Ash, everybody, this way!" said Bonnie. They ran until Bonnie spotted the very building they were looking for. "That's it! The Sycamore Pokémon Lab!" said Bonnie. Everybody (minus Clemont) entered the building. "Hello? Professor Sycamore! Are you here?!" asked Ash. Everybody heard a yawn. It belonged to Professor Sycamore. He wore a blue shirt, black trousers with a yellow belt (which has the buckle shaped like a circle), and also wore orange socks and brown trainers with grey stripes. Sycamore also wore a brown watch on his left arm and often wears with his white lab coat when he is not conducting field research. "Coming," said Prof. Sycamore. He then spotted Ash & the gang. "Ash, is that you?" asked Prof. Sycamore. "The one and only," said Ash. Professor Sycamore then spotted the injured Froakie. "Froakie, no!" cried Prof. Sycamore. He ran toward Ash and the gang. "You know this Froakie, professor?" asked Ash. "I sure do. Sophie, come quick!" said Prof. Sycamore. He picked up Froakie. "I've been so worried about you. Your Trainer has been in recent contact with us," said Prof. Sycamore.
The one called Sophie arrived at Professor Sycamore's call. Sophie was a woman with dark blue hair & green eyes. She wore a blue shirt, a white lab coat, pale red lipstick, a gray skirt, brown leggings and black shoes. "Froakie needs help," said Prof. Sycamore as he handed Froakie to Sophie. "Right," said Sophie. She then began to carry Froakie to the medical room. "Pika," said Pikachu. "Thanks, Professor. We were worried about Froakie too. So is Froakie's Trainer on the way here now?" asked Ash. "I'm afraid not," said Prof. Sycamore. "Why?" asked Nancy. "He contacted us to let us know . . . he wanted to give up Froakie," said Prof. Sycamore. "Huh?" asked Ash. "Give up Froakie?" asked Misty. "Pika Pika?" asked Pikachu.
At that moment, Clemont entered the Sycamore Research Lab, panting. Brock, Casey Jones, the Squirtles, Raticate and Ninjara were present too. The six mutant Pokémon had earlier changed out of their ninja gear. Clemont then collapsed on his hands and knees. "You're so slow!" said Bonnie. "So what happened back there, Brock & Casey?" asked Misty. "The police arrested not just Shredder's goons, but they almost arrested the Squirtles, Splinter and Ninjara," said Casey. "But we managed to convince Officer Jenny not to," said Brock. "I see," said Ash. "How's Froakie?" asked Clemont.
Froakie was put in a healing chamber and Sophie operated the controls. Everybody watched from outside the medical room. "Poor Froakie," said Ash. "There's nothing to worry about," said Prof. Sycamore. "Huh?" asked Ash & his friends. "Sophie is the absolute best at what she does," said Prof. Sycamore. "Great," said Ash. "That's good to know," said Misty.
Everybody sat down to talk. "As most of you know, I'm Professor Sycamore. I'm a Pokémon researcher working here in Kalos," said Prof. Sycamore. "It's good to see you again after having you as a guest at my birthday party a week ago," said Ash. "Pika," said Pikachu. "My name's Bonnie. This is my brother, Clemont," said Bonnie. "It's truly an honor to meet you, Professor Sycamore," said Clemont. "Pikachu, Nancy, Misty, Brock, Casey Jones & his Raticate and April's Squirtles and Ninetales just got here from Kanto. I'm continuing my journey to become a Pokémon Master," said Ash. "Pikachu," said Pikachu. "I'm resuming my journey to become the world's greatest Water Pokémon Master," said Misty. "I'm trying to become a Pokémon Doctor while trying to find the girl of my dreams," said Brock.
"Welcome. All of you. Forgive me for not thanking you yet for saving Froakie. Much appreciated," said Prof. Sycamore. "The truth is, Froakie saved us," said Ash. "We were attacked by Shredder's minions, Bebop, Rocksteady, Butch and Cassidy," said Misty. "I remember Bebop and Rocksteady when they crashed your party. But who are Butch and Cassidy?" asked Prof. Sycamore. "They were once agents of Team Rocket, until the Shredder and Krang destroyed the organization and mutated the survivors with Krang's mutagen, including them," said Misty. "Tell me, are your Squirtles, Raticate and Ninetales mutants too?" asked Prof. Sycamore. "Yes. They were mutated by mutagen that was accidentally dumped by TCRI," said Casey. "I see. They wouldn't happen to be those Pokémon ninjas from the battle at Saffron City, by any chance?" asked Prof. Sycamore. "How'd you . . . ?" asked Leonardo. "I'm a Pokémon professor. It didn't take that long to figure it out, unlike most people. But don't worry. Your secret is safe with me," said Prof. Sycamore, winking. "That's good to know," said Splinter.
"So what's the deal with Froakie's Trainer? What happened that would make him give Froakie up?" asked Ash. "Well one of my numerous responsibilities is to give Trainers their very first Pokémon. Froakie's a Pokémon meant for new Trainers. But this particular Froakie is a bit different. Refusing to listen to its Trainer in battle. There have been times when Froakie ran away, simply because it didn't like its Trainer. And several Trainers have come back to my lab, just to return it," said Prof. Sycamore. Everybody gasped. "You mean more than one?" asked Ash. "Pikachu," said Pikachu. "Sure Froakie acts like that for a reason," said Prof. Sycamore. "So Froakie's had a hard life," said Bonnie. "Heard quite a few rumors about a Trainer's first Pokémon like that. But it seemed absurd, so I never believed them," said Clemont.
Just then, everybody heard a growl. It belonged to a Garchomp. It was with another one of Professor Sycamore's assistants. This one had magenta hair and brown eyes. She wore a white lab coat like her boss and Sophie. "Check it out! A Garchomp, like the one I have back at home as well as Cynthia's!" said Ash. "Pika Pikachu!" said Pikachu. "Forget the Garchomp, check out that pretty girl!" said Brock, blushing at the sight of the assistant. "Oh no. Not again," said Misty.
"Garchomp lives here at the lab," said Prof. Sycamore, getting up. "It has a good heart," said Prof. Sycamore. He went up to Garchomp. "Garchomp, how are you feeling?" asked Prof. Sycamore, petting Garchomp's snout. "Gar," said Garchomp. Froakie's eyes began to open. Garchomp let out a growl. "Froakie will be fine. Don't worry. You can thank these people," said Prof. Sycamore. Garchomp turned to face Ash & co. "Nice to meet you, Garchomp," said Ash. "Pika Pika," said Pikachu. "You really care a lot, don't you?" asked Ash. He walked up to Garchomp and began to pet its snout. "Froakie's going to be okay. Honest," said Ash.
"May I pet Garchomp too, please? I've never seen a real life Garchomp before," said Bonnie. "Of course. Garchomp would really like that," said Prof. Sycamore. The professor picked up Bonnie so that she could be at head level with Garchomp. "Yay!" said Bonnie. She began to pet Garchomp's head. "Oh you're so cute. Good Pokémon," said Bonnie. Garchomp began to nuzzle against Bonnie. "Hey. You like me," said Bonnie.
Brock began to flirt with the magenta-haired assistant. "Hello there. You're the first pretty girl I've ever seen in the Kalos Region. What is your name?" asked Brock. "Uhh . . . Cosette," said the girl. "Cossete. Such a pretty name for a pretty girl," said Brock. Suddenly, Garchomp grabbed Brock by the shirt with its teeth. "Hey!" cried Brock as he got dragged away. "I don't think Garchomp wants you to get too close to Cosette," said Prof. Sycamore. He couldn't help but chuckle.
"Professor?" asked Clemont. "Hmm?" asked Prof. Sycamore. "I've heard a lot about your research on Pokémon evolution. Is it true?" asked Clemont. "Yeah. There are a lot more Pokémon living here in the lab than Garchomp," said Prof. Sycamore. Bonnie gasped in excitement. "I wanna see them! I wanna see them!" said Bonnie. "I'm sure we can see about that. Cosette, watch over Garchomp, why don't you?" asked Prof. Sycamore. "Of course, sure thing," said Cosette. "Maybe I should watch over you as well," said Brock, still attempting to flirt with her. Garchomp growled menacingly at Brock. Brock's hair spiked up and he yelped. He ran behind Misty. "Or not," said Brock. "You really are a helpless romantic," said Raphael.
Prof. Sycamore, Bonnie and Clemont began to leave, but Clemont noticed Ash wasn't. "Huh? Aren't you coming, Ash?" asked Clemont. "Yeah. I'll catch up with you," said Ash. "Oh. Okay," said Clemont. He began to leave along with Misty and Brock. The Squirtles, Splinter, Ninjara and Casey Jones stayed with Ash, Pikachu and Nancy.
Ash, Pikachu and Nancy went into the medical lab to check up on Froakie. "Hey, Froakie. I really want to thank you for saving us," said Ash. "Pika Pika," said Pikachu. "Pikachu, Nancy and I think you're awesome," said Ash. "For a little guy, you showed Butch and Cassidy a thing or two," said Nancy. "Froa . . . kie," said Froakie. "I don't get it. I want a Pokémon like you and look what you did. You cared enough to help us turn the tide against Shredder's goons," said Ash. "You're the best," said Nancy. "Pika," said Pikachu. Ash, Pikachu and Nancy then went to join up with their friends.
The Squirtles, Splinter, Ninjara and Casey Jones turned on the TV to see what was on. "I wonder if news about Bebop, Rocksteady, Butch and Cassidy's arrest has hit the small screen already," said Michelangelo. "It probably has," said Raphael. A news report by a channel called Channel 8 started to play. "This is Pamela of Channel 8 news reporting. Earlier today, a fight broke out between a couple of mutant Pokémon in the middle of Lumiose City. On side one was a group of four Squirtles, a Raticate and a Ninetales dressed up like ninjas. The second side consisted of a mutant Emboar, Rhydon, Golem and Nidoqueen. All four were armed with firearms. The six ninja Pokémon managed to subdue the four gun wielding mutants before the police apprehended the four brutes. They almost arrested the six ninja Pokémon until their Trainers arrived to take them back home. Back to you, Dee Dustin," said Pamela.
The camera then switched to another reporter by the name of Dee Dustin. He was a man with brown hair and black eyes and wore a reporter's outfit. "Regardless, Officer Jenny should've arrested all of them. Mutants are not to be trusted. They're freaks of nature who shouldn't be considered real Pokémon at all," said Dee Dustin. The Squirtles, Splinter and Ninjara got mad upon hearing this. "If somebody doesn't take action, mutant Pokémon could replace not just real Pokémon, but us humans as the dominant species. They all must be destroyed at all costs!" said Dee Dustin. "He just doesn't understand us!" said Leonardo. "How dare he calls us freaks!" said Michelangelo. "That loud mouthed punk!" said Raphael. "He gives reporters a bad name!" said Donatello. "I agree with you, Donatello," said Ninjara. "Some people hate what they don't understand," said Splinter, shaking his head. "What an idiot," said Casey.
"In other news, a recent robbery occurred at a metal foundry in the city. The workers were found all tied up and gagged. I'm about to interview the workers themselves right now," said Pamela. "It was two Pokémon. One of them was a Scizor clad in spiky samurai armor and the his partner in crime was a Greninja," said Worker #1. "They knocked us out with gas pellets before tying us up," said Worker #2. "It's Shredder and Tatsu!" said Splinter. "Then the whole battle with Shredder's goons was a decoy!" said Raphael.
At the Kanto Region, Charles Pennington, April O'Neil, Merissa the Primarina, Vernon Fenwick and Irma Langenstein happened to be watching the news report as well. "These villains just refused to stay defeated, don't they?" asked Vernon. "Just who does that guy think he is, talking trash about our ninja friends?" asked Irma. "His name is Dee Dustin. He was a reporter from Petalburg City before he got fired due to his involvement in a scheme by Jessie, James and Meowth to steal a lot of Trainers' Pokémon. He now works at Channel 8, which is run by my biggest rival, Burne Thompson. We've been rivals since college," said Charles. "Charles, Vernon, Irma and I have to go to the Kalos Region. We can't just sit here while somebody is saying lies about the Squirtles and their friends and family," said April. "I want to give that Dee Dustin a piece of my mind!" said Merissa.
"While you're at it, you can get the latest news about what the Shredder's up to. Just be careful. Not just getting involved with the Squirtles' war with Shredder, but be careful when dealing with Dee Dustin and his boss, Burne. They'll do anything to be at the top of the news, by means fair or foul," said Charles. "I'll take your word on it," said April. April O'Neil, Merissa, Vernon and Irma then went into the Channel Six Newsvan and drove to the nearest airport to catch a plane to the Kalos Region.
Back at Professor Sycamore's lab, Professor Sycamore led Misty, Brock, Clemont and Bonnie to the area where all the other Pokémon were at. The Pokémon there included Caterpie, Weedle, Zigzagoon, it's evolved form; Linoone, Combee, Fletchling, Psyduck, Helioptile, Scatterbug, Azurill and its evolved form; Marill. A Weedle was a small, brown, serpentine larva Pokémon with a segmented body. The bug had dark, circular eyes, many little pink feet and a pink, round nose. It also had a poisonous stinger on both its tail and head. Its bright coloration is intended to warn off its enemies.
Zigzagoon was a small quadrupedal raccoon-like Pokémon It had a brown and tan zigzag pattern lining its shaggy fur that grew in segmented patches along its body. Its front paws were white, and its back legs were brown. Much like a raccoon, Zigzagoon had a black mask marking surrounding its beady black eyes. It had short brown ears and a round black nose. Its tail was striped, ending in a thick fuzzy bush. Linoone was a quadrupedal, long-bodied, ferret-like Pokémon. It was mostly covered in cream-colored fur, with brown stripes running down its back and tail. It had a weasel-like snout, tiny ruffled ears, a black nose, and bright blue eyes. Its tail was long and furry. It had long, slender arms and legs with sharp claws on each.
Combee was a three-headed Pokémon resembling a bee. Its three heads were shaped like hexagonal honeycomb, with each upper 'bee' having one wing and one antenna each and the lowermost 'bee' having a striped abdomen. A female Combee had a red spot on the forehead of its lower face. Scatterbug was a small, worm-like Pokémon. Its skin is black, except around its neck. Azurill appeared to be a small blue mouse with a round water balloon attached to the end of its tail. Its balloon-tail was blue and was used to bounce higher. It also had small ears and small feet. On its face there were two white circles, giving an impression of a blush. It can use the tail to bounce around.
Bonnie giggled at the sight of so many Pokémon. Misty went to the area where there was a lake for the Water Pokémon to lived at. "Oh how cute! It's a bunch of Azurill and Marill. They're like the one I raised and evolved into Azumarill," said Misty. At that moment, Ash, Pikachu and Nancy were entering the area. "Wow. Amazing," said Ash. "So, Ash. How's Froakie feeling?" asked Clemont. "Much better. Froakie's real strong," said Ash. "Ash, I've never seen these Pokémon! There's too many Pokémon to count," said Bonnie. "Wow! There's even a Helioptile," said Ash. "It's just like the one Alexa has," said Nancy. "Pika Pika," said Pikachu. Pikachu went to interact with the other Pokémon. "Pika," said Pikachu.
"So professor, what kind of evolution are you researching?" asked Ash. "Do you remember when I gave you and your friends those Mega Stones to mega evolve your Pokémon?" asked Sycamore. "Yes. I do. We made great use of them during that big battle against Shredder and Krang's forces," said Ash. "So you're saying Garchomp can still evolve?" asked Clemont. "It can. We've seen it in action when Cynthia mega evolved her Garchomp," said Brock. "That's my research," said Prof. Sycamore. "Unbelievable!" said Clemont. "There have been several reports of different Pokémon evolving in a way that researchers refer to as Mega Evolution," said Prof. Sycamore. "Mega Evolution?" asked Clemont. "A lot of the mechanics are still a mystery. But what we know so far is that special bond between Pokémon and Trainer, as well as a special stone play a crucial role in evolving," said Prof. Sycamore. "Strong bond?" asked Clemont. "Pika?" asked Pikachu. "What's more, a Pokémon can return to its previous form after it evolves this way," said Prof. Sycamore. "It can turn back?" asked Clemont.
"Those who participated in the battle of Saffron City have proven its effectiveness in battle against the Dimension X invaders," said Brock. "You said that you are friends have used Mega Evolution?" asked Clemont. "Yes. I have three Pokémon capable of Mega Evolution. The first is my Charizard, the second and third are my two Mewtwos," said Ash. "Misty has a Gyarados capable of Mega Evolution and my Steelix is capable of it too," said Brock. Ash, Misty and Brock showed Clemont and Bonnie their Key Stones. "That's so cool!" said Bonnie. "Misty, Brock and I hope to collect more sometime during our journey," said Ash. "That would be great. The more you collect, the more it'll attribute to my research," said Prof. Sycamore.
At that moment, a Combee and a Scatterbug approached Misty, curious about her. But when Misty saw the two bug Pokémon, she immediately shrieked. Misty ran from the two Bug Pokémon and jumped into the lake to hid from them. "What's the matter, Misty? Don't you find those Pokémon cute?" asked Bonnie. Misty emerged from the water. "No! They're disgusting!" said Misty. Bonnie felt offended. "What's up with Misty?" asked Bonnie. "Misty is afraid of and hates Bug Pokémon," said Ash. "It's always been that way ever since we traveled together," said Brock.
At that moment, the Squirtles, Splinter, Ninjara and Casey Jones entered the area. "Guys! guys!" said Casey. "What's up, Casey?" asked Brock. "We saw the news and Shredder and Tatsu had struck while we were battling Shredder's goons," said Donatello. "What happened?" asked Nancy. "They stole some metal from a metal foundry," said Ninjara. "I bet they're using it to repair the Technodrome," said Leonardo. "News spread about the arrest of Shredder's goons, but there's someone who works for Channel 8 who thinks we're a threat too!" said Raphael angrily. "Now who would want to distrust you?" asked Prof. Sycamore. "Some jerk named Dee Dustin!" fumed Michelangelo.
Upon hearing that name, Ash gritted his teeth and clinched his fist angrily. "Dee Dustin?! Here . . . in Kalos?!" asked Ash. "Wait a minute. You know that man?" asked Splinter. "Know him?! He along with these two boys teamed up with Team Rocket to try to get Brock and my Pokémon and our Trainer licenses taken away! They were doing it to other Trainers before we got to Petalburg City!" said Ash. "What exactly happened?" asked Leonardo. "Well, if you really want to know, Brock and I will tell," said Ash.
Three Years Ago . . .
When Ash, Pikachu, Nancy, Brock, May and Max got to Petalburg City, Ash was getting ready to challenge May's father, Norman for the Balance Badge. Latias was with Ash at that time and was in her red-haired girl disguise. The people were excited that Norman's kids were back in town. Unfortunately, there were two boys who were jealous that Ash and Brock got to travel with them. They told lies to Ash that Norman only battles specifically chosen Trainers and that Ash will never get a chance to battle him. Ash was irritated by this and decided to prove that he's worthy of challenging Norman.
Unfortunately, it was all a set up. For when the Trainers were losing, they lied to the people that Ash was disrespectful Trainer who had no respect for anybody but himself. The people had May challenge Ash to try to "teach" him a lesson. Ash used Tailow, while May used Torchic. When Ash was battling May, people were booing at Ash. This made Latias angry. She slapped a whole bunch of people at once. "If I catch you booing my friend again, I shall hit you properly!" said Latias angrily. The people gulped nervously. They could tell by Latias' voice that she meant business. Tailow managed to beat Torchic.
"How could May lose?" asked a woman named Rose. "May's supposed to be the daughter of Norman," said Dee Dustin. Just then, everybody began to hear someone laughing. It belonged to a mid-sized boy, who had green eyes and green hair (much like Roselia, who was his ace Pokémon). He wore a black long-sleeved shirt, a purple jacket, a pair of teal trousers and black shoes. "Oh no. It's Drew," groaned May. "That's nothing to me if she doesn't have the power to back it up. Trust me, I know. I was the one who beat her in the Slateport City Contest. I have more ribbons than her too. Today, Ash just proves that May is a weakling," said Drew.
"Arrest those two Trainers! They must be stripped of their Pokémon and their Trainer licenses!" said Dee Dustin. The people began to slowly advance toward Ash and Drew. The two boys gasped. "Leave them alone!" said Brock. "Those two boys over there are the real villains, not us!" said Latias. "Nice try," said Boy #1. "We told them everything," said Boy #2. "All of you must pay the price of what happens when you mess with Norman!" said Rose.
"Stop!" said May. May and Max stood in front of Ash, Pikachu, Nancy, Latias, Brock and Drew. "May! Max! What are you doing?!" asked Dee Dustin. "Get out of our way!" said a man named Yaohei. "No! They're my friends!" said May. "WHAT?!" asked everybody, with dumbstruck looks. "Guys, run!" said Max. "Thanks!" said Ash. Ash, Pikachu, Nancy, Latias, Brock and Drew began to make a run for it.
Ash and the others ran until they arrived in what appeared to be an abandoned building. They panted to catch their breath. "Drew, why'd you have to make them mad?!" asked Brock. "How was I supposed to know they were going to try to arrest us?!" asked Drew. "This isn't right! Those two brats lied to the people of the city!" said Ash.
"You encountered them too?" asked a voice. "Huh?" asked Ash, Brock, Latias and Drew. "Pika?" asked Pikachu. "Vul?" asked Nancy. The six turned around and saw a whole bunch of Trainers around their ages. Brendan and Wally were among too of them. Back then, Brendan wore a black headband with a red Poké Ball pattern. He sported a long-sleeved red and black sweater and black shorts over baggy black trousers with yellow cuffs at the bottom. His sneakers were also red and black, matching his outfit. Around his neck, he sported a gold band with a round white circle in the center, and on his hands he wore yellow and blue fingerless gloves. In those days, Wally wore a white button-up long-sleeved shirt with pale blue buttons, khaki green, slightly baggy trousers that are similar to the color of his hair, and slip on shoes that are a pastel blue color with white soles. "Who are you?" asked Ash. "My name is Brendan. And this is my friendly rival, Wally," said Brendan.
"How do you know those two boys?" asked Ash. "They told lies to all of us that Norman only battles specifically chosen Trainers. We challenged them to prove them otherwise. And when they were losing, they lie to the city that we're bad Trainers," said Wally. "That's exactly what they said to me!" said Ash. "What's worse. They call the Pokémon League and they send these two inspectors to take away our Trainer licenses and our Pokémon. Wally and I managed to escape before it could happen," said Brendan. "So did Drew, Brock and I," said Ash. "But all the others before me and Brendan, they weren't so lucky," said Wally.
Ash and his friends could see the other Trainers behind Brendan and Wally. The majority of them sat down, feeling very depressed. Others were trying to comfort each other. A Trainer around Brock's age was trying to comfort his girlfriend, who was crying. "It's not fair! All I wanted was to challenge Norman. I want my Pokémon back, safe and sound," said the girl. She continued crying. "How long has this been going on?" asked Brock. "For about a week," said Wally. Ash clinched his fist angrily. "We can't let this continue on! We have to prove our innocence and get the stolen Pokémon back!" said Ash.
At the Pokémon Center, May and Max were arguing with the people of Petalburg. "You said you're actually friends with those jerks?!" asked Yaohei. "They're not jerks! Ash Ketchum is the bravest Trainer I've ever known! Brock is a great Pokémon Breeder! Drew may be mean at times toward me, but he still cares for his Pokémon!" said May. "If you truly are the children of Norman, you will help us hunt them down and bring them to justice!" said Rose. "We will never abandon my friends!" said Max. May and Max then left the Pokémon Center, fuming. "Those traitors! I'll see to it that those Pokémon League Inspectors bring them to justice too!" said Dee Dustin.
"Brendan, Wally, and the rest of you, what did these Pokémon League Inspectors look like?" asked Latias. "They wore trench coats and hats. They wore sunglasses to hide their eyes. There was a woman with magenta hair and a boy with purplish-blue hair. Accompanying them was a Meowth," said Wally. "Wait a minute. Those aren't Pokémon League Inspectors! They're members of Team Rocket!" said Latias. "How do you know?" asked Brendan. "Those three have been known to wear paper thin disguises that still fool certain people. But they can't escape my mind reading," said Latias. "Just, who are you?" asked Brendan. Latias sighed, knowing she had to drop her disguise. Her body glowed and she transformed into her true form. Everybody gasped. "A Latias?!" asked Brendan. "Yes. She's my Latias," said Ash. "I know an older cousin of mine who works for a Nurse Joy who's also a Pokémon League Inspector. I'm going to visit her office and tell her about what's going on. You all must find a way to lure Team Rocket into the open and expose them," said Latias. She then teleported out of the area to find her cousin.
At that moment, May and Max arrived. "Ash, Brock, there you are," said May. "We were so worried about you," said Max. "What are they doing here?!" asked Boy Trainer #1. "What are you mad at us? What have we done to you?" asked Max. "Your the children of Norman and the people have more respect for you than us!" said Girl Trainer #1. "We ditched our so called devoted fans!" said May. "You did?" asked Boy Trainer #1. "Yes! They care about nothing except punishing people they think they can punish!" said Max. "You refused to do what they want you to do, even if it's going to cost you your respect?" asked Wally. "Yes. It's the right thing to do," said May. "It took a lot of courage to do that," said Brendan. "Where's Latias?" asked May. "She went to see a real Pokémon League Inspector to try to help settle this affair," said Ash."So, how are we going to lure those phony inspectors out?" asked Girl Trainer #2. "I have an idea," said Ash. He began to whisper his plan to the others. "We'll do it tomorrow," said Ash.
Present Time . . .
"I can't believe those boys would do that. They're such sore losers," said Michelangelo. "I know. They didn't want to admit I was better than them," said Ash.

Deep below the Earth, the Shredder arrived back to the Technodrome with the first set of stolen metal. Krang was inspecting each sheet of metal carefully. "Nice. Very nice. These sheets of metal will do for the new armor plating for the Technodrome," said Krang. "Thank you, Krang. Tatsu and I managed to steal it easily since Bebop, Rocksteady, Butch and Cassidy distracted the Squirtles and their friends," said the Shredder. "Speaking of which, why haven't Tatsu and your four mutant goons didn't return the same time you did?" asked the Shredder. "I tried contacting them on the communicator, but they wouldn't answer. That's why I sent Tatsu to find out what happened," said the Shredder.

Tatsu scoured the city for any sign of Bebop, Rocksteady, Butch and Cassidy. He was careful not to be spotted by anybody. He arrived a building just outside the police station. He used a pair of electro binoculars to look through the window and saw Bebop, Rocksteady, Butch and Cassidy, still trapped in cement, in a high security jail cell. Tatsu then activated his communicator to contact the Shredder. "Master Shredder. I found Bebop, Rocksteady, Butch and Cassidy. They're at the police station, trapped in cement and jailed like common crooks," said Tatsu. The Shredder growled in annoyance.
"Tatsu, I'm coming up to the surface with my Elite Guard. Once we get to the surface, we're going to bust them out of jail. We still them need to help us steal more materials for the Technodrome," said the Shredder. "Yes, master," said Tatsu. The Shredder and his Elite Guard then went into a transport module and it went through a tube that exited out of the Technodrome. The module then began to burrow toward the surface.
Back at Prof. Sycamore's lab, Ash was still telling everybody about the phony Pokémon League Inspectors affair. "So, did Latias find the Nurse Joy who had her cousin on her side?" asked Donatello. "Yes," said Ash.
Three Years Ago . . .
Ash's Latias met up with Nurse Joy and her Latias and told them everything. "I never sent any Pokémon League Inspectors to Petalburg City," said Joy. "That's exactly what I wanted to confirm with you," said Ash's Latias. "Something fishy is going on here," said Joy's Latias. "That's what I was afraid of. Two phony inspectors are tarnishing the reputation of the Pokémon League and I think I know who it is," said Ash's Latias. "Take us to Petalburg City right away," said Joy. "Right," said both Latiases. The two Latiases teleported themselves and Nurse Joy to Petalburg City.
The next day, everybody was on a manhunt for Ash, Brock and Drew. Dee Dustin and the two boys were together in their search. As they were searching, they began to hear a loud commotion. "What's that?" asked Dee Dustin. "Let's find out!" said Boy #1. The three ran until they saw it was coming from Petalburg Gym. An angry group of Pokémon Trainers were gathered outside of the Gym. Ash, Pikachu, Nancy, Brock, May, Max, Drew, Brendan, Wally and the other accused Trainers stood in front of the doors of Petalburg Gym, refusing to let the other Trainers in. "Get the others. This is our chance to make sure those other Trainers are put in their place permanently!" said Boy #2.
It wasn't long before Dee Dustin, the two boys and the other citizens of Petalburg City gathered outside the Gym behind the mob of angry Trainers. Everybody from both sides yelled and shouted. "STOP THAT NOISE!" yelled a voice through a megaphone. It was Norman himself. He wore a dark red, long jacket with a black collar, blue-grey trousers and black boots. "Norman!" cried Rose. "What in the world is going on?!" asked Norman. "Those kids over there won't let us in!" said a Trainer. "Even your own children are refusing to let those Trainers in!" said Dee Dustin.
Norman turned to Ash, May and Max and the others. "Ash, May, Max, why are you doing this?" asked Norman. "We're sorry for this bad behavior, but lately, these Trainers with me have been getting accused of being disrespectful and abusive Trainers and had their Trainer licenses and their Pokémon wrongly taken away by these phony Pokémon League Inspectors. It was the only way to lure them out," said Ash. "Dad, those two boys over there are spreading lies about you," said May. "What lies?" asked Norman. "They said you only battle specifically chosen Trainers. But that's not true. You battle any Trainer who challenges you regardless!" said Max. Norman glared at the two boys. "You got some nerve telling lies about me," said Norman. "It gets worse! The boys then try to prove they're not worthy of challenging you. And when they're losing, they lie to the people to get the Trainers in big trouble," said Brock. "Is that so?!" asked Norman. The two boys began to sweat nervously. "They are the ones who are lying!" said Boy #1. All the people began to yell and shout at Ash and co. "QUIET!" screamed Norman.
At that moment, the two fake Pokémon League Inspectors and their Meowth arrived. "We're here to settle this nonsense," said Inspector #1. "Where are the troublemakers?" asked Inspector #2. "Meowth," said Meowth. "Over there! May and Max must pay for betraying their home city!" said Dee Dustin, pointing to Ash and the others. "What?!" asked May and Max. "You can kiss your chances of entering the Hoenn League goodbye as well as your Pokémon and licenses," said Inspector #2.
"That won't happen!" said a voice. The voice belonged to Nurse Joy. Ash's Latias as well as her own Latias were with her. "I am a real Pokémon League Inspector and the Pokémon League did not send any inspectors to this city during this past week," said Joy. "This charade's over," said Joy's Latias. She and Ash's Latias then fired Mist Ball attacks, which hit the phony inspectors. Their clothes were knocked off, revealing they were indeed Jessie, James and Meowth. "Ah ha! I knew it! It was always you, Team Rocket!" said Latias. Team Pansies gasped, seeing their cover were blown. "There's more. My cousin and I have been reading your minds when you arrived. You three have been conspiring with those two boys and Dee Dustin!" said Joy's Latias. Team Rocket, the two boys and Dee Dustin's eyes widened. "You boys have always been jealous of every visiting Trainer who come to challenge Norman. So when Team Rocket came to town, they promised you the chance to be better than them by framing them for crimes they didn't commit and have their Trainer licenses and their Pokémon taken away so that you can get half of their Pokémon. Team Rocket would get the other half. As for Dee Dustin, you tempted him with the promise of good stories that would make him the #1 journalist in Petalburg," said Ash's Latias. Everybody glared at the six villains. Team Rocket, the two boys and Dee Dustin knew that their covers were blown.
"So where are all the Pokémon you stole?" asked Ash. Team Rocket remained silent. "WHERE ARE THEY?!" yelled Ash. "Where are our Pokémon?!" yelled Girl Trainer #1. "No need to interrogate them. I read their mind. They're in an abandoned warehouse at the outer side of town," said Joy's Latias. "No fair! You and your mind reading is ruining everything," said Meowth. "My cousin and I can't help it if your minds are open books," said Joy's Latias. Team Rocket, the boys and Dee Dustin began to make a run for it. "Come on! We got to secure the stolen Pokémon before they get them back!" said Jessie. "I knew we should've delivered them to the boss as soon as we got them! But no! You and Meowth insisted that we wait until we get the twerps' Pokémon!" said James. "Sorry!" said Jessie & Meowth as they and their parter ran.
Ash and Nurse Joy's Latiases hurled some Mist Balls, which knocked down the six villains. Officer Jenny then cuffed the six villains. "You six are under arresting for framing and impersonating Pokémon League Inspectors," said Jenny. The Trainers then went to the warehouse to get their Pokémon back. "Dee Dustin!" yelled an angry female voice. "Oh no. It's my boss, Rachael," said Dee Dustin. The one called Rachael stepped forward. She was a tall woman with black hair and blue eyes. She wore faint pink lipstick and a business suit. Ash recognized her. "I don't believe it! It's my Aunt Rachael," said Ash. "What the . . . ?! MY BOSS IS YOUR AUNT?!" asked Dee Dustin in total shock.
"That's right. I can't believe you've been coloring the truth from me! And teaming up with those hooligans to do it no less! And what's worse, you're trying to ruin the reputation of my beloved nephew! What you were doing is everything against what my publishing company stands for! Thanks to you, I have to print many retractions in my paper! You're fired! You're finished! You'll never work in the news industry again!" said Rachael. She then began to slap, punch and kick him repeatedly. Dee Dustin yelped as he was getting beaten up. "Yikes! And I thought J. Jonah Jameson of the Daily Bugle had a temper!" said Rose. Rachael then kicked Dee Dustin, right in the crotch! Dee Dustin let out a high pitched scream that made him sound like an opera singer holding a high note. After getting beaten up, Dee Dustin had a black eye, messed up hair and some bruises. "Jenny, take those scumbags away!" said Rachael. "With pleasure," said Jenny. She threw Team Rocket, the two boys and Dee Dustin into a patty wagon and it drove off, taking the six villains to jail.
After the trainers got their Pokémon and licenses back, the people of Petalburg approached the Trainers. "We're sorry we were fooled by those scumbags' lies. It won't happen again," said Yaohei. Girl Trainer #1 then slapped Yaohei in the face. "Ow!" said Yaohei. "It better not, you brain dead morons!" yelled Girl Trainer #1. The Trainers then turned to Ash. "Thank you for helping us get our Pokémon and licenses back," said Boy Trainer #1. "Without you, we would still be down in the dumps," said Girl Trainer #2. "I couldn't just stand there and let Team Rocket and their partners in crime get away with it," said Ash. "We are forever in your debt," said Brendan. "Your welcome," said Ash. "Pika," said Pikachu. "Vul," said Nancy.
Present Time . . .
"Just who bailed him out of jail and hired him back into the news industry?" asked Ash. "Burne Thompson, the head of Channel 8. He happens to be the biggest rival of April's boss, Charles. He hates mutants, whether their human or Pokémon," said Prof. Sycamore. "Why?" asked Ash. "He's heard about how a lot of people fear and shun mutants during the years that the X-Men and Magneto's brotherhood have been fighting each other. So he figures, if they hate mutants, he should hate them too," said Prof. Sycamore. "In other words, he jumped on the mutant hating band wagon," said Misty. "I hope April gets here soon and straightens things out," said Leonardo.
That evening, Tatsu was waiting on top of the building outside the police station when the Shredder and his Elite Guard arrived. "Have you managed to get schematics of the police station?" asked the Shredder. "Yes," said Tatsu. He pressed a button on the communicator and it displayed a 3-D schematic of the police station. "Our mutant allies are being held prisoner on the 2nd level, where they keep the most dangerous criminals. The floor has security cameras armed with lasers that are programed to shoot anybody not wearing an official police badge," said Tatsu. The Shredder thought for a moment. "Hmm. Taking out the cameras shouldn't be a problem for my Elite Guard," said the Shredder. He turned to the four elite ninjas. "Do what you must do. Eliminate any pig that stands in your way," said the Shredder. The Elite Guard nodded and teleported off the roof and in front of the back entrance of the police station.
Shredder, Tatsu and the Foot Elite Guard hid behind a dumpster just as a security guard was exiting out of the building. He took out a flashlight to see if there was anybody out there. The Lucario Elite Guard threw his twin bladed sword like a boomerang. It sliced at the security guard, killing him. The blade then went back to the Lucario Elite Guard and he caught it with his hand. The Shredder then led his five henchmen into the building. As the villainous ninjas scoured through the building, they were spotted by some police officers. "Hey! Who are you?!" asked Cop #1. "How'd you get in here?!" asked Cop #2. The Elite Guard suddenly disappeared. "Huh?" asked the two cops. Suddenly, the Elite Guard reappeared behind the two cops. The two Elite Ninjas sliced at their foes, killing them.
The Squirtles, Ash and their friends were watching TV, scrolling through the channels. "So, how's Froakie?" asked Donatello. "He's going to make a full recovery tomorrow," said Ash. "That's good to know," said Leonardo. Just then, a news broadcast began to play. "This is Pamela of Channel 8, bringing an emergency broadcast! Word got out that there is an attack on the Lumiose City police station! The attackers appear to be a Scizor clad in spiky armor and a Greninja, which were the same ones who robbed the metal foundry earlier today. But this time, they're being accompanied by a Lucario, Blaziken, Medicham and Gallade dressed up like ninjas. We don't know what they're trying to accomplish as Officer Jenny has sealed off the building to non police personal. A S.W.A.T. team has been sent to stop them," said Pamela. "I think they're trying to free those mutants who are currently jailed. If they're released, they'll overrun the city," said Dee Dustin.
"It's the Foot Elite Guard," said Splinter. "I remember how dangerous those four were when we first fought them," said Misty. "We can't just stand here and do nothing," said Leonardo. "But remember what Officer Jenny said to me and Brock. She'll have us arrested if we try to take things into our own hands," said Casey. "We know. But this is Shredder and the Elite Guard we're talking about. The police stand no chance against them," said Leonardo. "You're right. We can't stand here and do nothing," said Ash. "Pika!" said Pikachu. "Ash, you're taking a big risk too. If Dee Dustin sees you, he won't be happy to see you," said Nancy. "I'm willing to take that chance," said Ash. The Squirtles, Splinter and Ninjara quickly changed into their ninja gear. Ash turned to Clemont and Bonnie. "Clemont, Bonnie, stay at the lab. The Shredder is even more dangerous than his mutant goons. He won't hesitate to kill even a child as young as you, Bonnie," said Splinter. "Okay," said Clemont. The TMNS, Splinter, Ninjara, Casey Jones, Ash, Misty and Brock ran toward the police station as fast as they could.
Inside the police station, the S.W.A.T. Team fired their guns at Shredder, Tatsu and the Elite Guard. The bullets bounced off of Shredder's amor. Tatsu caught whatever bullet that was fired at him with his hands. The Elite Guard used their weapons to block the blocks fired at them. "Foolish humans and their earth guns," said the Shredder. The Gallade Elite Guard hurled his trident at one of the cops, killing him instantly. The Shredder then charged and smashed the shield of one of the S.W.A.T. team members. The Shredder then slashed at him across the chest and he fell dead.
Outside, Officer Jenny and some other cops were outside with the S.W.A.T. commander. They could hear the noises of the battle on the police radio. "Bleep it! My men are getting slaughtered like animals in there! And they were my best men!" said the S.W.A.T. commander. At that moment, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles, Ash and the others arrived. "Officer Jenny! Officer Jenny!" said Ash. Officer Jenny and the others spotted them. Dee Dustin recognized Ash. "You! What are you doing here?!" asked Dee Dustin. "I happened to be in the neighborhood when my friends and I saw the news report of the attack," said Ash.
"Officer Jenny, we need to help you repel Shredder and his goons," said Brock. "We don't need help from you punks and freaks! Not after you cost me my career back at Petalburg, Ash and Brock!" said Dee Dustin. "From what Brock and I remember, it was your own doing when you made that foolish deal with Team Rocket," said Ash. "Pika!" said Pikachu. "Why should I trust you? Your Squirtles, Raticate and Ninetales caused enough trouble for one day!" said Jenny. "Jenny, please listen to us! You don't know who you're up against!" said Michelangelo. "The Shredder is a dangerous Pokémon! Your men are getting slaughtered by him and his men!" said Raphael. "They don't call those four the Elite Guard for nothing," said Splinter. "Jenny, do you really want to continue being stubborn and let more of your men die?" asked Misty. "You can't trust them! Their mutants! Mutants are not to be trusted!" said Dee Dustin.
"Actually, you can," said a voice. It was April O'Neil. Vernon and Irma were with her too. Merissa was in her Pokéball at the moment. "Who are you?" asked Jenny. April and her two co-workers took out their press badges. "April O'Neil of UBC Channel Six News," said April. "Vernon Fenwick of UBC Channel Six News," said Vernon. "Irma Langenstein of UBC Channel Six News," said Irma. "We're friends of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles. They happen to be the ones who helped me solve the Silent Crimewave at New Tork City. Ash Ketchum here is a six time Pokémon League Champion. You have to let them help you. They know these villains more than anybody else," said April.
Officer Jenny thought for a moment. "Alright. I'll let you help. But I hope you know what you're doing," said Jenny. "Thank you, Jenny," said Donatello. The TMNS, Splinter, Ninjara, Ash and the others then went into the police station to confront their foes.
The Shredder busted down the door to Bebop, Rocksteady, Butch and Cassidy's cell. Tatsu then smashed the hardened cement, freeing them. "Gee! I never thought I'd get out of this concrete!" said Bebop, flexing his arms. "Good to see you still care for us, master," said Cassidy. "I still need some muscle to help me steal more materials to re-power the Technodrome," said the Shredder. "Come on. Let's get out of here," said Tatsu.
"Not so fast, Shredhead!" said Raphael as he and the other heroes entered the area. "Squirtles. We meet again," said the Shredder. "You ain't going nowhere except behind bars!" said Misty. "We shall see about that," sneered the Shredder. Shredder, Tatsu, Bebop, Rocksteady, Butch, Cassidy and the Foot Elite Guard turned to face the heroes.

The ten villains charged at the heroes. "Squirtle power!" said the TMNS as they, Splinter and Ninjara charged, drawing out their weapons. Ash took out a Pokéball. "Pidgeot, go!" said Ash. He threw the ball and Pidgeot was summoned. Pidgeot let out a squawk. "Golduck, I choose you!" said Misty. She threw the ball and Golduck was summoned. "Golduck!" said Golduck. "Swampert, lend us your strength!" said Brock. He threw the ball and Swampert was summoned. "Swampert!" said Swampert. Leonardo took on the Shredder. Splinter, Ninjara, Raphael and Pidgeotto fought the Foot Elite Guard. Donatello was facing against Bebop, while Swampert was tangling with Rocksteady. Golduck was taking on Butch, while Michelangelo faced Cassidy. Pikachu was taking on Tatsu.
Leonardo and the Shredder's blades clanged as they fought, trying to get the upper hand. The Medicham Elite Guard jumped and tried to slash at Pidgeot, but Pidgeot dodged by using Agility. It then used Wing Attack, whacking the Medicham Elite Guard with its wings. The Medicham Elite Guard then kicked Pidgeot, knocking it back. But the attack wasn't that effective. Pidgeot then executed a Quick Attack, sending the Medicham Elite Guard into a nearby wall. Ninjara and Raphael were both taking on the Lucario and Blaziken Elite Guards. They blocked their bladed weapons as they fought. "You're getting better at fighting as a ninja, babe," said Raphael. "Thanks," said Ninjara. She then kicked the Lucario Elite Guard in the gut, knocking the wind out of him. The Lucario Elite Guard counterattacked by executing a Force Palm on her. Ninjara yelped as she got hit. Raphael fired a Water Gun attack, soaking the Blaziken Elite Guard. The Blaziken Elite Guard then thrusted his spear forward, but Raphael jumped to avoid the attack. The Gallade Elite Guard swung his trident at Splinter, but the Raticate sensei dodged him using his speed. Splinter then jumped and zapped the Gallade Elite Guard with a Thunderbolt attack. But it wasn't down yet. He grabbed Splinter and slammed him to the ground. Suddenly, Splinter's body became surrounded in flames, activating his Flame Charge while the elite ninja still gripped him. The Gallade Elite Guard yelped in pain as the flames burned his hand. Splinter then rammed the Gallade Elite Guard.
Tatsu threw a Water Shuriken at Pikachu. Pikachu fired a Thunderbolt attack. When the two attacks collided, an explosion occurred. Tatsu then lashed out his tongue and hit Pikachu like a whip, sending him flying backwards. However, Pikachu used his feet to prevent himself from crashing into the wall. He then propelled himself at Tatsu. Pikachu then executed a Volt Tackle attack, zapping Tatsu and sending him crashing into a wall. Swampert fired a Water Gun attack, but Rocksteady dodged it using his speed as he charged. Rocksteady then punched Swampert with his brass knuckles. Swampert's arm glowed white as it executed its Hammer Arm attack. The Water & Ground-type Pokémon punched Rocksteady, knocking him back. The two Pokémon then got caught in a hand lock.
Donatello executed a dodge roll to dodge Bebop's Flamethrower attack. He then fired a Water Shuriken attack, which was a direct hit on Bebop. Donatello then jumped and charged at Donatello. Suddenly, Bebop's eyes glowed green. Then, two blades of grass sprouted from a nearby potted plant and tied around Donatello's feet. Bebop then had the grass blades slam Donatello onto the ground. "You know Grass knot?!" asked Donatello. "Yes. I learned that via a TM before we headed to the surface," said Bebop. Donatello used his strength to burst out of the binding plants. He then fired a Water Pulse attack, but Bebop dodged it.
Golduck and Michelangelo fired their Water Gun attacks at both Butch and Cassidy. Butch used Defense Curl to lessen the damage, while Cassidy used Protect. Cassidy then fired a Sludge Bomb attack at both Michelangelo and Golduck. "Look out!" cried Michelangelo. The two Water Pokémon dodged the attack and the Sludge Bomb hit some nearby potted plants. The plants withered away and died as a result. Butch then curled and executed his Rollout attack. He rolled toward Michelangelo. Michelangelo jumped and used his nunchakus as a way to grapple onto a nearby ceiling lamp. Golduck then used Confusion on Cassidy, which was super effective. This resulted in Cassidy becoming confused as indicated by the swirly eyes and Torchics running around her. As Butch was rolling back, Cassidy kicked Butch in her confusion like a soccer ball. Butch was sent bouncing around the hall like a pinball. He then crashed into the other villains and they were all sent flying out the window and onto the streets. The TMNS, Ash and the others then exited the building to confront the Shredder and his goons.
As the villains were recovering, they heard the heroes' voices. "We got 'em now!" said Michelangelo. "I don't think so!" said the Shredder. Suddenly, the Shredder threw a grenade at the heroes. "A grenade! Look out!" cried Jenny. The heroes scattered just before the grenade exploded. Luckily, no one was hurt. Leonardo then spotted the Shredder and his goons running off. "After them!" said Leonardo. The TMNS, Ash & co., Officer Jenny and the other cops ran after the villains.
The Shredder, Tatsu, Bebop, Rocksteady, Butch, Cassidy and the Foot Elite Guard ran to where their transport module was at. Tatsu opened the door and everybody got inside. He then went inside himself and shut the door behind him. The heroes arrived just as the transport module started to burrow into the ground. "They're getting away!" said Misty. The transport module then disappeared into the ground. "Swampert, after them with your Dig Attack!" said Brock. "Swampert!" said Swampert. But before he could, lava started to fill the hole. "Get back!" said Raphael. Everybody stood back as the hole was now completely filled with lava. "The module must've ejected the lava to prevent us from following," said Splinter.
Much later, the cops who survived the scuffle at the police station were getting their wounds treated. The heroes turned to Officer Jenny. "Sorry if Shredder & his goons got away," said Ash. "It's all right. At least you managed to prevent any more needless bloodshed," said Jenny. She turned to the TMMS. "I owe you six ninjas an apology. For a bunch of mutants, you're not that bad," said Jenny. "Unlike Shredder and his Foot Clan, we have true honor," said Splinter. "The truth is. We don't belong to Brock. He said that so he could save us from getting arrested," said Leonardo. "So who is your Trainer?" asked Jenny. "We're owned by no one. But I was once a pet of Hamato Yoshi before he died," said Splinter.
"You were right about one thing, the Shredder and his minions are way out of the police force's league. Unless . . . ," said Jenny. "Unless?" asked Donatello. "Squirtles, how would you and your fellow ninjas like to help me keep crime in check?" asked Jenny. "Really?!" asked Michelangelo. "Yes. Something tells me we haven't seen the last of the Shredder," said Jenny. "And we won't. He and his goons are going to keep coming to the surface to steal materials and energy to repair and re-energize the Technodrome. If they succeed, the Technodrome will come back to the surface and they'll try to conquer Earth again," said Leonardo. "We accept your offer, Jenny," said Splinter. "Thanks," said Jenny.
Dee Dustin happened to be overhearing the conversation. "This can't be happening!" said Dee Dustin quietly. And he left. "Come on. Let's head back to Professor Sycamore's lab for the night. It's been a long day for all of us," said Ash. "Pika," said Pikachu.
"She what?!" asked Burne. "You heard me. Officer Jenny has hired those ninja Squirtles and that mutant Raticate and Ninetales to help her clean up crime!" said Dee Dustin. Burne was an obese man with dirty blond hair and black eyes. He wore a yellow shirt with a purple tie, a black watch on his left wrist, blue pants, a brown belt with a silver buckle and brown pants. He carried at least two pens in his left shirt pocket, which had a red 8 in a circle. Burne slammed his fist on his desk. "This is outrage! She's actually having mutants clean up crime for her! Mutants! She may think they're good, but they can't fool you and me! We must run them out of town one way or another!" said Burne. "I agree! And we'll also run anyone who sides with them out of town too! Ash Ketchum and April O'Neil are here too! Since they're siding with the Squirtles, we'll see to it that justice brings them in!" said Dee Dustin.

The Shredder, Tatsu, Bebop, Rocksteady, Butch, Cassidy and the Foot Elite Guard arrived back to the Technodrome. Krang was laughing at the four mutant goons. "I still can't believe you let yourselves be jailed like common criminals! It's outrageous!" said Krang. The utrom warlord resumed laughing. The four mutant goons were embarrassed. "Well at least we're not as bumbling as Messy and Lame!" said Butch. "That's enough! You four get some rest. Tomorrow, we need to steal more metal for the new armor plating for the Technodrome," said the Shredder. "Yes, master Shredder," said Bebop.

In the detention hall, two Foot Ninja guards were wandering the halls when they heard James' voice. "Doctor! We need a doctor!" said James. The two Foot Ninjas ran to Team Pansies' cell. Jessie was convulsing. "Jessie's convulsing! She needs medical attention now!" said James. The two Foot Ninjas looked at each other. "I'm coming in to make sure you're not lying," said Foot Ninja #1. He turned to Foot Ninja #2. "Keep guard," said Foot Ninja #1. Foot Ninja #2 nodded. Foot Ninja #1unlocked Team Pansies' cell with a key card and cautiously approached a convulsing Jessie.
Suddenly, Jessie kicked Foot Ninja #1 in the gut, knocking the wind out of him. She and James got out of their medical beds and grabbed Foot Ninja #1 and threw him into Foot Ninja #2. Jessie and James then ran out of their cells, carrying Meowth. James grabbed one of the guards' key cards. "Just to make sure you don't follow us," said James. He swiped the key card at some other cells, releasing some other random prison cells. The three then ran out of the detention hall just as the other prisoners came out of their cells. The alarms began to blare and the two Foot Ninjas stood to face the escaped prisoners.
Shredder and Krang heard the alarms. "What the devil?!" asked the Shredder. The Shredder ran to an intercom. "What's going on?!" asked the Shredder. "Team Pansies have escaped from their cells and they released the other prisoners!" said Foot Ninja #1. "What?!" asked Krang. "This cannot be happening!" said the Shredder angrily. He slammed his fist on the control panel. The Shredder and Krang ran to portal room just in time to see one of the transport modules disappear into one of the tubes. "They're heading back to the surface!" said Krang.
Team Pansies started driving the transport module toward the surface. They managed to reclaim their Pokémon and stole a bunch of weapons too. And boy were they mad! "Look out, twerps and Squirtles! Team Rocket is going to resurface with a vengeance!" said Meowth.
Uh-oh! Team Pansies have escaped from the Technodrome and they're gunning for our heroes once they reach the surface! Will the Squirtles, Ash and friends be ready for them? Or will they be caught off guard? Find out, on the next thrilling episode of Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles!

Sneak Peek
On the next episode of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles", Professor Sycamore decides to let the Squirtles, Splinter, Ninjara and Merissa stay at his laboratory while they're staying in Kanto. Unfortunately, Team Pansies have escaped from the Technodrome and are planning their revenge against their heroes. The Shredder sends Groundchuck and Dirtbag after the three to reclaim they stuff they stole. Things go from bad to worse when Team Pansies' stupidity causes Garchomp to go on a rampage! Can our heroes calm Garchomp before it causes too much damage? Find out in "Team Pansies Resurfaces" on Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles!
As you can see, the Lumiose City Officer Jenny has decided to work alongside the TMNS to keep Shredder and his goons in check. We also learn that the Dee Dustin was fired and he's now working for Burne Thompson who is now a rival of Charles Pennington. In this fanfiction, I intend to ensure he gets whats coming to him at the end of the series. The scene in the flashback when Ash, May and the others bar everybody from the Gym was inspired by when Percy and Duck bar the big engines from entering the sheds in "Duck Takes Change". Next episode, Jessie, James and Meowth after escaping are going to become a pest to Ash and co. once again!
