Chapter [VII] First Classes pt2
"Wake up!" Jamieson groans, grabbing Leonidas' pillow from underneath his head, hitting his chest with it as hard as he could with his scrawny arms.
"Mm... Wha– I'm up," The boy flew upright, blinking a few times, realizing it was already morning. From the second day they arrived, till' today, he'd been awakened by Jamieson at the earliest point he could in the morning, which the blond boy didn't appreciate, seeing how he wasn't a morning person.
The trio once again met up in the Grand Hall, as they usually would to have their breakfast and chatter away, waiting for their next class to begin, only today, it was different in a way.
'Look, it's the first year who lost us 225 points,', 'First week here and he's already screwed up so bad?', 'It's the Malfoy boy I tell you, a horrible influence on those two', and more along those lines, were carried around not just by the Gryffindors, but almost everyone else they passed by as they made their way towards the Grand Hall.
Jamieson and Frona did their best to ignore it and continue on their day as they usually would, but they could tell Leonidas wasn't able to ignore it the way they did, judging by how quiet the boy was compared to his usual self. "Morning you lot," Graham smiles, walking towards their area of the long tables, Samuel waltzing behind him with an equally as big smile.
"Uh... What're you guys doing here?" Jamieson asked, thinking they had an assigned area and something would happen if they didn't follow said assigned area.
"What? There're no rules saying first years and sixths years couldn't mingle. Same thing goes for different houses," Graham shrugged, biting into the sandwich he brought over.
"Hi, I don't believe we've met. I'm Samuel, you can call me Sam," The black-haired Slytherin prefect grins, shaking both Frona and Leonida's hand, who introduced themselves in return. "What classes do you guys have today?" Graham asked with a lifted brow, genuinely curious at the trio's schedule while Samuel continued munching his breakfast.
"I think it was Defence Against the Dark Arts first, then Transfiguration and..." Jamieson wonders, trailing off as his eyes wondered towards Frona, unable to remember the rest of their schedule. "We have Herbology later in the afternoon," She answers, letting out a sigh annoyance, annoyed that her two friends are still unable to remember their schedule.
"OOh, D.A.D.A huh. You guys will love professor Lupus mcGuffaw," Samuel piped up, almost going on a long rant about how he loved D.A.D.A because of said professor, until Graham nudged his waist, rolling his eyes.
The trio spent the rest of their morning waiting for their classes with their two new senior friends, with the two seniors sharing dumb stories about the chaos they both went through throughout their first few years in Hogwarts.
Unbeknownst to the trio, the two prefects had other reasons to spend their morning with the duo that day.
After hearing all the bad rumours that been going around school, Samuel devised a plan to at least keep them away from danger, knowing full well they'd be targets of bullying after such a big incident, and the plan was that with the two being all familiar and buddy-buddy, even though they genuinely wanted to befriend the trio, at least the others wouldn't dare to go near the trio under the pretense of the trio being 'protected' by not one, but two prefects of Hogwarts.
"I think it's time for you guys to get going," said Graham after another long moment of the five just chattering away, prompting the trio to stand up. "We're almost late!" Frona squeaks, "Nice to meet you Samuel," said the freckled, ginger-haired girl in a hurry before rushing off.
"Same goes," Leonidas grins, running after her, "See you two later?" Jamieson smiles at the two, who nod before he dashed off, Leonidas and Jamieson desperate to catch up to the running girl, knowing full well she was the only one who knew the way to D.A.D.A, since Jamieson himself hadn't seen a class labeled as such during his solo tour.
"Ah, Mr. Potter-Diggory and co. Just the one I'd been waiting for," The dapper-dressed professor greeted the trio as they entered his class, realizing they were the first there.
Either that or everyone had already left, something which instilled panic in Frona.
'Oh... His name's Professor mcGuffaw,' Jamieson thought, somehow excited to finally learn the name of the professor who saved him from the Dursleys. Once again, Jamieson scanned the tall, quite lean built professor as he leaned against his table.
"W-Where are the others?" Frona asked, fearing for the worst. "You three are the first to arrive. 15 points to Gryffindor, I suppose," The professor smirked, watching Frona's fearful face turned into glee as the trio took the seat at the very front of the class.
The trio waited for quite a while, with Jamieson deciding to talk to the professor after a while, Leonidas twirling his quill and Frona doing self-revision of the previous subjects. "Professor mcGuffaw..." Jamieson squeaked up, somewhat nervous to talk to the professor, remembering how stern he was when he first met the boy.
"Yes? You may call me Professor Lupus," The professor raised his brow, somehow the boy approaching him had soothed his building anger at his student's absence. 'Surely they know what class they have this morning?' The professor thought to himself.
"I... I-I just wanted to thank you for... For what you did," Jamieson smiled a warm smile, being extremely thankful that he had pulled him out of such life, though the boy knew he'd have to go back at the end of the year, he was thankful that he didn't have to deal with them for another 2 terms.
"Ah," The silver fox of a professor, had pulled the boy in for a warm embrace, "My pleasure. I was simply doing my job, boy. I've heard that the professors had said about your muggle step-family, I thought I could give it a crack," The professor wink, Jamieson's smile melted into a chuckle at the thought of the professors gossiping about how much of a stubborn pair of muggles his step-parents were.
"Why did the professors come fetch me, if I may ask? I heard Frona, Leonidas and even George had received owls," Jamieson wonders, remembering what Frona and Leonidas had told him about how they received their own invitations.
Unbeknownst to him, Frona and Leonidas had been eavesdropping the moment he began talking to the professor, not that Jamieson was trying to hide it anyways.
"You, are a special case, Jamieson, I hope you don't mind me calling you that, and seeing how good you've done in your first few of your days of being here Hogwarts, your parents would be proud," The professor smiled warmly, patting the boy on the head. Jamieson felt his cheeks warm up slightly, his curiosity growing at the mention of his father, though before he could ask about his parents, Jamieson watched as Professor Lupus' warm smile turned into that of an angered scowl, realizing the rest of the students had finally arrived.
"You," Professor Lupus pointed at Ellias, who was startled at the sudden attention he got as he tried to sneak into an empty seat.
"Explain while you were all late, far later than you should've been," The professor growled, Jamieson quickly retreating to his seat, shocked and scared at the professor's sudden change in demeanor, both Frona and Leonidas looking at him in confusion and fear.
"I-I uh..." Ellias began, not wanting to tell the professor that their entire group had somehow got into a fight with the entire first year Gryffindor group, with the exception of the trio. The only reason they were broken up as because of Peeves suddenly coming around, "FIGHT! STUDENTS FIGHTING IN THE HALL! OH THE HORROR!" He cried in his ever so piercing voice ringing throughout the corridors, snickering as he watched the students quickly disperse.
"W-W-We got lost," The boy stuttered, realizing how stupid of an excuse that was. "All of you got lost at the very same time, and entered class at the very same time? Highly believable. Detention to each of you lot, except for these three, who miraculously didn't get lost together with all of you," stated the professor, ignoring the cries and groans of his student.
Jamieson flashed a smirk at Ellias, along with Leonidas sticking his tongue out slightly in provocation, causing the boy to be even more fuming, steam was practically coming out from his ears.
"Good Morning. My name is Professor Lupus McGuffaw, you will refer to me as professor McGuffaw. I'll be teaching you Defence Against the Dark Arts, shortened to D.A.D.A, till' your very last year here in Hogwarts. I expect everyone to pay attention and arrive on time for our next classes, as D.A.D.A is a very important subject for wizards. You can cast out powerful spells and attack all you want, but if you fail to defend yourself against the simplest hex and jinxes, you are easily a failure as a wizard. In D.A.D.A, you'll also be learning about how to defend yourself against dark creatures and magical creatures alike," The professor began explaining, going off about rules and whatnots in his class before instructing the students to turn to page 2 on their thick textbook.
"Now. Before we begin, let me test your basic wizard knowledge," The professor began, Jamieson gulping as he realized he knew nothing about the animals in the wizarding world, other than dragons existing and owls being used as lettercouriers. "Can someone tell me, how does one gain the ability to turn into a werewolf?" The professor asked, Jamieson's eyes widening in curiosity, intrigued to find out that that was a thing. He'd seen werewolf transformations many times in muggle movies, he didn't think it existed.
Almost instantly after Professor Lupus asked the question, Frona's hand shot up like a bullet shot into the sky. "Go ahead, Ms. Weasley-Granger," The professor pointed at the girl, who stood up with a confident smile, "A wizard or muggle turns into a werewolf every full moon after they themselves were bit, scratched or harmed in any way by another werewolf, due to the illness of lycanthropy being passed through either saliva or blood," She explained, earning herself a satisfied smile from the professor.
"Good answer, Ms. Weasley-Granger. 5 points to Gryffindor, you may sit," The professor awarded points to Gryffindor, "Know-it-all," A female Slytherin student whispered, which he managed to catch. "Ms. Flitwickle, please enlighten me as to how one would treat a werewolf bite," The professor called out, pointing to a short-haired female student two rows behind Jamieson himself.
The student stood up, yet was unable to produce an answer.
"Tsk. 10 points from Slytherin. Speak only if you have something helpful to say, or an answer to my questions, in my class. Any pointless chattering is prohibited, I have the right to either take points from your house or to kick you out of my class," The professor warned, seeing nods from his students, he proceeded to explain what a werewolf was, explaining in great detail about lycanthropy and dealing with it.
The next two hours went by rather quickly, Professor Lupus going through the three well-known monsters in both the wizarding world which happened to be Ghosts, Werewolves and Zombies. At the start of the class, everyone had thought Professor Lupus was an insanely strict teacher after what the students had done, but he quickly made it obvious that while he could be stern, he also knew how to make class fun, especially for a class like D.A.D.A which students would usually fear. One question lead to another, slowly turning it into a fun, healthy competition between the Slytherin and Gryffindor first years, both sides racing to get points.
With a better mood and a higher motivation to continue their classes, thanks to Graham and Samuel's distraction earlier, the trio made their way up a flight of stairs and down another two corridors until they finally reached their Transfiguration class, seeing only about 5 other students inside and their professor nowhere to be seed, they took their own seat each, as close to the front as possible.
While waiting for the rest of the student body along with their appointed professor to arrive, Jamieson couldn't help but notice how the black and white tabby sitting on the professor's table had been scanning the class quite a few times, even eyeing him once in a while. 'Probably just my imaginations...' dismissed Jamieson, thinking the cat was nothing special.
Boy was he wrong.
"Welcome, Slytherin and Gryffindor first years," A voice called out once all students arrived and sat, prompting all of the students to look around in confusion, all of their eyes turned towards the black and white tabby, who had leapt off the table and transformed into Professor Dolevia, smiling smugly.
On one hand, Jamieson was ecstatic to know that Professor Dolevia was their Transfiguration teacher. On the other, he was awed by her own transformation, initially thinking that wizards couldn't transform into animals, thinking the only way was to be injured by a werewolf.
"You've learned of my name. I shall be your professor for Transfiguration for your whole stay here in Hogwarts," She began, explaining about the dangers and risks of Transfiguration, something that Jamieson had heard so many times across all of his classes, he was almost able to recite every other word.
Jamieson's view on Transfiguration was somewhat wrecked almost instantly after the class began, however, as soon as professor Dolevia began teaching about transfiguration alphabets. Sure, he was able to catch on about how basic it was, but he found it insanely difficult to translate from transfiguration alphabets to regular alphabets. Learning about the 26 alphabets were easy enough for him, but knowing the rules and how one regular word was translated to another made him almost regret coming to the class that day, remembering how easy Charms alphabets and diagrams were compared to this one. Jamieson groaned once they had left after the class ended, literally 2 hours of the professor explaining said alphabets for them to finally catch the basics.
"Jamieson, where're you going?" Leonidas asked, noticing their friend was going the opposite direction of where they were. "I'm gonna go see Professor Lupus. Our class doesn't start until a bit later, right?" Jamieson responded, remembering how they had a break between their Transfiguration and Herbology class that afternoon.
"Well, yeah... But what're you meeting Professor Lupus for?" asked their female, ginger-haired friend, noticing two of her friends were lagging behind.
"I... I wanna ask about my parents. He mentioned my dad earlier so I thought he'd knew them," answered the boy, shrugging at the thought. He could go read at the library, but knowing how forgetful he could be, he wanted to ask the professor before the idea left him.
"We'll come with," Leonidas grins, though knowing what happened between their parents, he himself wanted to learn more about his own, being raised by his distant relative and never having the chance to meet with his parents, Leonidas knew how Jamieson felt.
Frona decided to tag along. Although her own parents were still very much alive, they refused to talk about what had happened and tried every way they could to avoid the questions regarding Leonidas and Jamieson's own parents, saying 'You'll know one day, Frona,' on some occasions, the ginger-haired girl finally gave up after trying so hard to find out. Why was she trying so hard, you ask? Because they were both present when the event happened, though something else must've happened which went unreported, if it was enough to cause both of her parents, some of the brightest wizards in the wizarding world, to avoid mentioning about it.
"Come in," Professor Lupus called out, hearing knocks on his door which he hadn't expected since his next class was coming a bit later.
"Ah, Jamieson, Leonidas and Frona, what may I assist you with?" The professor asked, setting down his copy of the Daily Prophet as the trio entered his office.
"Professor Lupus..." Jamieson trailed off once the trio had sat down across the silver fox of a professor, "Can... Can you tell me and Leonidas more about our family history? W-We figured coming to you would be easier than going through hundreds of history books, since you mentioned my father earlier," said Jamieson, somewhat nervous about his question for reasons unknown.
With a slight chuckle, the professor unclasps his hand and grabs his wand, "I knew you'd ask sooner or later. I'm honoured you chose to ask me, out of the other professors here," He answered, standing up and walking towards one end of his office, where Jamieson had noticed an out-of-place brick.
The trio watched as the professor's wand glowed a slightly yellow light before he tapped said brick, the trio watching in awe as the bricks in the surrounding area rearranged themselves, revealing an entirely different room.
"This is the Trophy Room of Hogwarts, first built by professor Horace Slughorn somewhere after the end of the 2nd wizarding war," The professor began explaining as the trio trailed behind him, all three of them awed by all the gold and silver trophies, medals and the likes displayed in various cases around the room.
"Winner of House Cup 1994, Winner of House Cup 1995, Champion of Ilvermony vs Hogwarts, Ancient Runes Spelling Competition of 1998 Runner Up..." Jamieson muttered, reading a few of the trophies as they walked past, walking all the way to the end of a the room where a shiny cup had stood, looking pristine as if time hadn't touched it at all.
"TriWizard Tournament Champion..." was written on the small label at the bottom of the cup.
"This book details everyone who had brought Hogwart's name to glory, whether they graduated or not, Professor Horace had enchanted it to update to current times," Professor Lupus smiles, flipping through the pages, with the most recent addition being, "Barnaby Abbott, discovered a brand new healing flora, curing wizards of the ever so deadly disease of an Inferi's Bite,"
The trio approached the large book, awed by the moving pictures of said people as they flipped through each page, ending up at Jamieson's own parents.
Jamieson felt a smile creep up on his face, finally able to put a face to the people who had brought him to this world. "Samantha Potter-Diggory, the Auror who managed to clear an entire cave of Inferi, retrieving Godric Gryffindor's sword, which had been stolen for over 10 years after the 2nd wizarding war," "Charles Potter-Diggory, inventor of the Memoria Egesso charm, which is able to fetch the memories of all items, regardless of how old they are," read Jamieson, finding out those two were only some of the biggest contributions they had to the wizarding world.
The trio took turns reading, with Leonidas surprised to find out that his parents had both contributed to the wizarding world in a good way, which confused the trio, though they didn't question it since Leonidas and Jamieson were both ecstatic to finally see the faces of the people who gave life to them.
"Hey Frona, are wizards able to change their eye colour?" Jamieson asked once they were done, only to have the girl raise a brow to his question. "I noticed my parents both had brown eyes... H-How come I have grey and green eyes?" He asked, remembering how eye colours could mutate sometimes, he had hoped that wasn't the case.
Before Frona could answer however, Professor Lupus stepped forth. "Those beautiful eyes of yours, Jamieson, were passed down from your great grandparents," He began, flipping the pages all the way back to the 1990s, stopping at the pages of two men, one named "Harry James Potter-Diggory," and "Cedric Amos Potter-Diggory,"
"As you can see, the messy hair you, your parents and grandparents all come from Mr. Harry here," The professor pointed at the man to the left, "However, you are the first of the new generations to inherit not only one, but both of their eye-colours," he continued, Jamieson then noticed how Harry had emerald green eyes, like his right, while Cedric had grey eyes, like his left.
He didn't even question how his great grandparents were both men, with the year being 2041, such an issue had ceased to exist. Instead, he was awed to read about their achievements. It seemed that his bloodline, along with Frona's, were both great achievers, contributing much to their community, with Leonidas' own parents contributing in great amounts, the trio had suddenly got a huge pressure on their shoulders.
Would they be able to live up to their names?
None of them knew much about their family until that moment, even Frona's own parents rarely discussed about their own achievements, living life as a humble wizard family, she didn't think they were that well-known.
"Satisfied, Jamieson?" Professor Lupus smirks, noticing how the trio had suddenly gone silent. "Y-Yeah," Jamieson smiles, realizing he had a lot to live up to.
"I wouldn't worry. I know you three will make a name for yourselves, but you're still young, alright? You don't need to worry about living up to your family names. I believe all of you will achieve great things, but hey, even if you don't... The world won't fall apart," Professor Lupus chuckles, somewhat soothing the trio's mind before escorting them out.
After exiting the the D.A.D.A class, the trio made their way down to the Great Hall, feeling a lot more positive after their exchange with Professor Lupus, enough to help them ignore the gossips going around after Professor Lupus shared how much of a trouble maker each of their parents were, even Frona's own father was known for pulling quite the number of pranks on the school staff, close to beating Peeves, they knew that gossips were the last thing they should be paying attention to.
"Are you two done yet?" Frona asks with an exasperated look, watching Jamieson and Leonidas stuff food down their throat as if they hadn't eaten in days. "Mm, one sec," answered their blond friend, mouth still stuffed with food, Jamieson grinning at their visibly annoyed friend.
"I'm leaving for the greenhouses," Frona huffs after a few more minutes of waiting, Jamieson and Leonidas quickly finishing their lunch and catching up to the girl, who had grown tired of waiting for the two.
As they entered the greenhouse, Jamieson had recognized their stout professor, who happened to be the first person to attempt to fetch Jamieson a few weeks ago. The kind-looking professor smiles at Jamieson, welcoming the trio as they were first to arrive.
"Good afternoon, first years. Before we begin, let me do a quick introduction of Herbology, and myself. I am professor Tulisa Sprout, professor of Herbology for Hogwarts..." She continued, with Jamieson once again hearing the almost too familiar sentences of how Herbology was dangerous and that they needed to be focused during their classes.
Initially, Jamieson was doubtful, seeing how harmless most of the plants look still and harmless, noting how beautiful the umbrella-like flowers hanging from the ceiling of the greenhouse and some sort of sweet fragrance by colourful plants from another corner.
Until the Professor re-emerged with a pair of odd sunglasses for each of the students. "For our first class, I'd like everyone to put these on," She instructed, pushing a table near the entrance of the first greenhouse, revealing a sort of trapdoor which led to somewhere underneath the greenhouse they occupied.
"Wonder where we're going," Leonidas hums, putting on his pair of sunglasses the professor had given, Jamieson following right behind. Once all of the students had entered the underground room, Professor Sprout had slammed the wooden trapdoor shut, plunging the room into pure darkness for a short while.
Jamieson looked around blindly, until things started appearing in a white outline. Jamieson realized the sunglasses they were provided with gave them a sort of glow in the dark vision, objects and living creatures being outlined with a white colour.
"Move along now," They heard professor Sprout from a distance, who had walked down the stairs in-front of them, the students following in silence, most of them were filled with fear since it was basically pitch black with only the white outlines of their friends reminding them about each other's existence.
"Now, everyone stay quiet," The professor spoke in a hushed voice as they approached a huge tangle of white outlined mess. Jamieson blinked a few times, even attempted to remove his magical sunglasses to make better sense of what he was looking at.
"Now, I'm sure you've heard of the Devil's Snare," The professor began, gasps filling the room along with shushes, "What we are standing in-front of right now, is a full-grown Devil's Snare. If you wish to not be strangled by its vines, do as I say and be quiet," The professor had instructed, satisfied with the silence of the room, with only the occasional movement of the giant tangle of vines which they saw as white outlines, she began to explain about the origins, history, growth cycle, uses and so forth of the Devil's Snare in a hushed voice, though most of the students were far too scared for their lives to actually pay attention.
"Leonidas stop shaking," Frona groans in a whispered voice, feeling the boy's hard grip on both her and Jamieson's wrist.
"Now, to conclude our first lesson of the day, I shall be giving a quick test of courage," The professor grinned devilishly, hearing gulps and murmurs of fear. "I'm sure you've learned the charm which lights up your wand, which is Lumos, and if you remembered what I mentioned earlier, the Devil's Snare despises light as much as it hates heat. I will simply walk through the Devil's Snare to the other side of the room. For every person who manages to copy me, 3 points shall be awarded to their house," She paused for a bit, another devilish idea popping into hear head, "And to make it a bit harder, you are not allowed to walk together. Only one student at a time," the professor added, hearing even more whimpers and whispers of fear.
Professor Sprout walked closer to the Devil's Snare, lifting her wand, she had cast the wand-lighting spell without a chant. Only when her tip glowed did Jamieson realize how big the Devil's Snare was, their white outlines in the dark giving them no justice. "I-I-I d-don't think I-I'd make it through," He hears Leonidas stutter, he himself doubted whether he'd be able to do it or not.
A long time had passed, with none of the Hufflepuffs nor Gryffindors finding even an ounce of courage within them do what their professor did... Until Jamieson decided to be the first
With a gulp, he raised his wand up, trying to swallow all of his fear, 'Lumos' he cast in a whisper. Being so close to the Devil's Snare, it looked a lot bigger than it did moments before.
He watched as the Devil's Snare shifted its vines as Jamieson pointed its wands forth, creating a very, very cramped tunnel, he once again gulped and marched forth. He had thought that he'd conquer his fear of closed space after growing up in a small cupboard under the Dursley's stairs, but the cramped tunnel created as he waddled through the thick vines of the Devil's Snare magnified his fears by a dozen more. It felt like forever as he waded through the vines, his heart beating hard enough for him t0 actually hear it, he felt his grip on his wand start to slip as his hands became coated with fear-sweat.
Eventually, the vines in-front of him opened up to a big empty room. Knowing he had finally reached the end of the room, he searched around for the professor's outlines, quickly sprinting towards her once he found it.
"Ah, Mr. Potter-Diggory. I knew you'd be one of the first fews, though I didn't expect it to take that long," She chuckles, Jamieson was still trying to calm himself, trying to slow his heart beat and breath, glad to finally emerge from the tangled vines. "I must say, these vines have grown quite a lot. It should've taken less than a minute to get through the mess. Ah, another problem for another day. As promised, 3 points to Gryffindor," She continued as they waited for the rest of the student body.
Jamieson was excited to earn points for his house, but that was the last time he'd do something like that. Jamieson knew he wasn't gonna look forward to Herbology if it meant dealing with plants in such a life-risking way every time.
Soon, the rest of the students began emerging from the vines one by one, with Leonidas almost as white as his hair by the time he emerged. The tightness of his hug almost choked Jamieson as he literally sobbed into the boy's robes in fear.
Everything seemed to go well until one of the Hufflepuffs had seemingly messed up the light-creating spell, somehow burning the Devil's Snare instead of creating light, trapping a few more students on the other side.
"Alright students, out, out," Professor Sprout had ushered those who made it to the other side out of the room through another trapdoor, finding out they were underneath Greenhouse 3.
"Oh, Professor Sprout–" Graham began, he along with Samuel and a few other students of their year were revising for their tests, spotting the professor sprinting out of the trapdoor, "Not now," She rushed, running back to Greenhouse 1.
"Uh... I'm guessing something happened with the Devil's Snare?" Graham asked, noted by the fear-stricken Frona and Leonidas who had seemingly refused to let go of Jamieson's arm. "I think so, I smelled smoke earlier," Jamieson answered, the rest of the students who had made it through rushed to join Professor Sprout back in Greenhouse 1.
"I'm quite surprised that you lots had managed to set fire to the Devil's Snare instead of producing a simple light charm," The professor reprimanded, "I expect you all to pay attention to your other classes. If you are unable to produce a charm as simple as Lumos, you will find Herbology quite hard to pass," She continued once all students had returned, the ones who hadn't made it to the other side instead walked back through the trapdoor of Greenhouse 1.
She continued to explain how each classes worked in tandem with one another. Somehow, Herbology turned into Charms Revision that day, with professor Sprout asking the students to demonstrate Lumos in front of her until they were all able to cast it successfully.
"Class dismissed. Once again, please make sure to pay attention to your other classes," The professor reminded, skimming through the basics of Herbology for another hour before dismissing her class.
"Leonidas, you can let go now y'know," Jamieson rolled his eyes, seeing how the boy was still practically glued to him. "N-No... I-I don't think I will for a bit more," He quivered, Jamieson letting out a chuckle as they made their way back to their dorms, having no more classes.
Looking through his timetable, Jamieson realized they only had one more class the next day, which was History of Magic, meaning they've covered all of their classes, he began to wonder what the future classes would be like. The more he imagined it, the more he looked forward to his new life as a student wizard, seemingly forgetting about what had happened the night before...
