Kakashi and Yamato brought Sara back to the intelligence department. Ibiki had been waiting for her return. His eyes still a bit red, irritated from the pepperspray. He didn't look happy about it.

But then again he wasn't really a person who could look happy. "I'm glad you found our lost sheep." Ibiki greeted them and then addressed his words towards Sara, "First you shoot down Kakashi, then you hurt my whole squat with liquid pepper. I advise you to change your attitude or we will stop being friendly with you. I don't care if you're confused or not."

He waited for Sara's response, she gladly took this opportunity to let them know how she felled about all of this. "I know and I'm sorry. Normally I'm not the one hurting people." Sara turned her gaze towards Kakashi. She wanted to apologize to him as well. "I'm sorry I shot you. I really thought you were the murderer I was chasing." Then she looked back at Ibiki, "And I'm sorry I hurt you and your friends. I really thought you were a criminal gang that captured me. I didn't thought it would end well for me. I understand now this is a different world. I just couldn't believe you before. It's all just... so surreal, so overwhelming."

Even Ibiki looked less cruel after this genuine apology. Sara was brought back into the intelligence building. She looked over her shoulder towards Kakashi and Yamato. "Thank you." She said polite, not sure what she thanked them for. Perhaps it was because she was grateful that these two men didn't hurt her. She felt like a mental patient brought back to the institution by two police men. Wanting freedom, but thankful for being captured and brought back because here you will get proper help and a roof above your head. The last thing she saw was their confused look on their faces before she disappeared inside the building. Of course they were wondering as well what she thanked them for. They must think she was a lunatic... Why did she even care what they would think of her?

They took her to her old room. This time she got stripped from all of her clothes and got a plain outfit in return including flip flops. The outfit was nothing more than a dark blue sweat pants and a grey shirt. Not really flattering, but clean. They even took away her hair elastic so her hair needed to be worn down from now on. The girl ninja who didn't introduce herself told Sara kindly, "Ibiki doesn't want to take any chances with you anymore." while holding Sara's uniform needle folded in her arms. Sara's ID cart on top, rims bent and damaged from her last escape attempt to get out of this room.

They also bandaged the cut on her arm that the knife left behind. She got some time to freshen up and they gave her a good tasting warm meal. They did take good care of her.

"Your door will be guarded 24/7. So it's best not to try anything anymore." The girl told Sara before she was left alone in the room for the night. They didn't even bother locking the door this time.

Meanwhile Kakashi and Yamato were at Tsunade's office giving their report. They didn't leave out any detail in their story.

"So she actually tried to save Kohohamaru?" Tsunade gave it some thought. "I guess we mustn't forget that Sara is some kind of shinobi in her own world like Inoichi saw in Sara's memories. Her intentions are to protect and serve the people in need. Only without the ability to use chakra to do so." Tsunade pointed out, "even without chakra she is able to give us enough trouble though."

"I think she wil give us less trouble from now on, now that she understands one and other." Kakashi replied.

Tsunade sat down on her chair, tired and full of information.

"It's a unique situation. I need some time to make a plan. I guess we need to investigate her mentally and physically. See how her chakra is developed. We need to find out how it's possible she got into our world. And if there is no way back, she'll will have to find her place here in the Hidden Leaf."

"As a shinobi?" Yamato asked curiously since this seemed to be Sara's job in her old world.

"I don't think so. Not with her chakra level. She won't even stand a chance to a genin rank shinobi. To be honest it's a miracle she can even walk with her chakra level." Tsunade said bluntly, but she also added, "But of course it's also something to look into, we don't know anything about her so far." Tsunade took a deep breath, "Ugh I need to find so many experts on this."

As the night started, Kakashi was bent over all the paperwork of today's events. Yamato who couldn't help him with that left him some food and went home himself. Tsunade went out drinking sake with Shizune in the only place of the Hidden Leaf that would be open until late. The experts could wait till tomorrow.

And Sara? She slept like a baby as tired as she was. In a deep dreamless sleep.

Sara woke up the following morning by the sound of the door being openend. It was the same ninja girl from last night who walked in and asked Sara to follow her so she could freshen up and get some breakfast. Two other ninja's were following them around and stood guard outside every room Sara was in. There was no way to escape again, even if she wanted to.

Breakfast was apparently in the interrogation room. Instead of her weapons and uniform parts on the table, there was a wide variation of breakfast products spread out.

"See it as a welcoming gift." It was Ibiki standing in the corner of the room telling her this, "Let's make a fresh start today. We are trying to help you, not hurt you." Although the gesture seemed nice at first he added, "this is also the last chance you'll get." His words were very strict. He wasn't one to mess with or would joke around.

"I understand." Sara replied, feeling the sudden tension in the room. Sara realized how much trouble they went through to keep her here. These two ninja's guarding her all night. Then this girl making sure she got the things she needed. Ibiki and Inoichi who asked her so much questions yesterday. Even Tsunade, head of this group, who troubled herself with her. The training of that boy and teacher she interrupted. And then of course Kakashi who captured her twice and later Yamato who helped with that. Sara sure hoped she wasn't getting the bill from all the work they put into her. But she couldn't feel really guilty about it either, what happened to her wasn't her fault.

"Alright then, enjoy this food." He told her wile taking a bun from the table himself and taking a big bite out of it.

Everything was delicious, the food here seemed so perfect. Or perhaps past events made her so hungry. It was clear they wanted her to trust them. But she couldn't. She was still captured against her own will and she still didn't knew who she was dealing with. They were some kind of ninja's, fighters.. killers. She couldn't forget about that. She had remembered every word Kakashi told her when she met him. He asked her what murder he was being arrested for, without any emotion. At the same time he seemed a nice guy. But how can a killer be a nice guy? But then again.. how does someone shoot wood out of his hands? She remembered Yamato, he had been calm that whole event. She knew nothing about these guys, this world.

When Sara was full Ibiki asked his first of many questions for today, "Sure you had enough? Because you'll have a long day ahead of you."

Ibiki wanted to know everything from her life and her world. There was another ninja in the room who wrote everything down. Sara didn't hesitate to answer every question as detailed as possible. By lunchtime they knew everything about her childhood, her family and friends. After dinner they knew everything about her job, the police organisation and the world she came from. She even told them about newest technology's, drugs, climate change and the latest diseases. All modern problems and hypes.

They listened very closely to everything she had to say. They wrote down every word. It was already late when Tsunade came visit. "Sara, Ibiki, how's it going?" At Sara's surprise Tsunade also asked her opinion.

However Ibiki was the one answering, "It's going very well. Her story's are unbelievable, amazing even. We can learn so much from her world."

"Amazing?" Tsunade asked, "That's not a word I ever heard you use. So it must be really something."

"It is." Ibiki confirmed.

Then Tsunade addressed her question to Sara. "And you're not making anything up? It's all true?" She asked skeptical.

"What no.. why would I?" Sara answered feeling offended.

Ibiki came to her defense, "she's telling the truth, you know I can tell. Together with the images Inoichi saw in her mind. It has to be true." It was clear Sara's had convinced Ibiki by her stories. She wasn't sure yet what Inoichi had done with her mind before, but she just went along with it.

"I see. Of course we knew there were other dimensions, but to ever come across a world were other people live, who knew." Tsunade answered. "Sara, I'm glad to hear that you're not a spy. From now on you are no longer a suspect but our guest. Yet, we will remain careful since we simple don't know who you are. Your intentions and values are unclear to us. Until then you'll remain here."

Sara understood, she felt exactly the same about them. "Okay," Sara replied, "but were do we go from here? Will you be able to get me home?" Sara felt weird being here, while things in her own world must have continued. They must be searching for her right now after they found out she disappeared. Her colleagues must be worried sick.

Tsunade told Sara about her plan, "Today you've told much about yourself. The reports off past events and these scrolls from your life story will be analyzed by our experts. Tomorrow you will get some psychological tests. If everything is alright you will get some of your freedom back."

Some of her freedom? Sara wondered what would be the catch, but she didn't ask. Everything was better then being inside the same room all day.

"However," Tsunade added, "we would also like to do some extra test on you. Test your chakra usage, examine you physical. Figure out what is different about you and how that will fit in our world. Of course only with your permission."

"Will it help me to figure out how to get back to my own world?" Sara asked.

"That's one of the things we will try to find out." Tsunade answered.

"Then okay, you have my permission." Sara needed to find out how to get back into her own world. This will be her main focus from now on. If they can help her, she needed to help them with as much information as possible.
