Naruto appeared in a barren wasteland, littered with the bones of titanic creatures.

He wasn't alone long as two figures appeared a short distance away.

On the right stood a man, wearing a dark purple robe with a light purple obi and belt. Clutched in his right hand was a massive Gunbai war fan with a chain running from the hilt and disappearing into his sleeve. Lastly, he wore a white mask with concentric rings leading to the middle. The second most inner ring had two Tomoes over his eyes while the last was positioned on his forehead.

On the left stood a monster in a white cloak. The collar and sleeves were bordered by a ring of tomoes, while behind him floated 9 concentric spheres and a hooked shakujō staff in his hands. Like his ashy skin, a similar coloured horn headband seemed fused with his skin.

Each bore at least one of their clans distinctive Sharingan with the right having two mismatched Mangekyō and the leftmost had one Mangekyō and a metallic purple Rinnegan.

"Madara Uchiha and the fake. How nice of you to join me here. Couldn't find any babies to eat? Puppies to kick? Families to tear apart? I'd expect nothing less from worms like you." While Madara didn't rise to the bait, Obito did.

"As if a child such as you could ever comprehend the choices real adults have to make. Surrender and make this easier for everyone. With your Bijū, we can end all wars. All suffering. A world without pain. Are you truly so selfish as to deny everyone that opportunity?" As Obito ranted, his predecessor merely adjusted his grip on the Shakujō, pointing the top at Naruto.

"Enough talk. I waited lifetimes for this moment, I will not wait any longer. Accept your fate."

"The only thing that will happen is your imprisonment. I learned why my people were hunted, exterminated. It was because of our sealing. Something that, when perfected, can seal away the heavens." As he finished, four orange beams erupted to the sky and connecting at a point beyond the atmosphere. Between the points, an equally colourful, thick wall formed. Pulsing walls encompassed the area.

"Do you honestly think a barrier will be enough to contain us? Even the best Uzumaki with a century of experience couldn't hope to stop an Uchiha with a Mangekyō." With a smug expression, Obito used his Kamui to warp beyond the barrier, only to Fail. Before he could process it, a microscopic Rasenshuriken detonated just in front of Obito and launched him into the barrier.

Colliding with the barrier, Obitos body began to rapidly decay and calcify. Falling backwards, the Uchiha clutched the calcified stump of his right arm. The Gunbai shared a similar fate as the uppermost part was cracked and covered in a thick layer of stone.

"You're correct, but with hundreds of centuries... well you see the results. This barrier is the culmination of generations of Uzumakis work. Combined with dangerous amounts of Shadow Clones, it's the perfect barrier. Neither of you can ever leave." Pausing to gesture towards the wreck that was Obito.

"I'd explain how it works, but it would be easier to describe a rainbow to a blind man, only using colours. So I'll just say that there's nothing you could do to escape. Warp reality, teleport, brute force, anything. I've covered every possible route, loophole, or escape. Your only escape is death."

Ignoring his wounded clansmen, Madara walked over to Naruto. The abyssal orbs morphed into plates and moved beneath his feet, suspending him several metres above the ground.

"I must say boy, I'm almost impressed. This inescapable barrier might take me five-six minutes to get through. Though I doubt you will live long enough to witness it." Forming the remaining orbs into a long spear, Mardara fired upon Naruto.

Turning to face him, a cloud of smoke appeared around Naruto's hands. The spear tore through the cloud and exited split vertically down the middle. They kept flying until they impacted the barrier and disintegrated.

The cloud dissipated to reveal the Kubikiribōchō coated in a layer of nature chakra. Raising one hand, he snapped his fingers and two more barriers appeared which connected all the corners together. Separating each of them in their own section.

"Please keep your tantrums to your section. I'll be with you when it's your turn."

Turning towards Obito, Naruto made a one-handed Tora seal. What followed were six consecutive explosions of chakra, each growing exponentially stronger until the deep red aura encompassing him started to dissolve the ground.

Planting his foot, Naruto kicked off towards Obito at supersonic speeds. Passing through the dividing barrier, Obito was barely able to avoid a slice, leaving a shallow cut across his mask.

"As I said, nothing you can do will let you escape. Cry, beg, plead, it all ends the same. Your death. Konan told me about you. We talked a lot while we cremated Nagato. Every trick you had, every event you orchestrated, and what I couldn't learn from her, I learned from your clans ruins. That slab had so much on it, a shame that it wasn't impervious to seals You know? Each piece I learned, I accounted for in the seals formula. The only escape is death."

Launching towards him again, the Uchiha could only send streams of fire to force Naruto to block. Deprived of his core technique, he could only dodge and throw fire. Each time accumulating more cuts and damage.

"If that it? Without your reality-warping technique, I'd think a genin could beat you. Pitiful, truly pitiful." Approaching Obito, he deflected a fireball with the broadside of his sword, undaunted by the Uchihas pitiful attacks.

"Why? Why would you go through all this? Every death, every funeral, every orphaned child, all of it was your fault. So tell me, what could be so important as to be worth all of this death?" At that moment, Naruto had ceased to be. Instead, becoming a force of nature.

Every step was punctuated by typhoon levels of wind, smashing and slicing into every cubic centimetre of flesh and fabric.

"Tell me. Why? Why? WHY? Why?!" Towering over him, Naruto swung the broadside of the sword down like lightning. Smashing into Obito and reducing his mask to dust.

"It's all to make a world without death. Without sorrows."

His answer only served to infuriate Naruto more. A flash of steel rendered Obito's arm asunder. Painting a crimson streak across the earthen landscape.

Without death? WITHOUT SORROW? Look into the eyes of everyone you killed and tell them that. Look into your senseis, my fathers eyes and tell him that. You walk a path stained with the blood of the innocent and claim to be their shepherd."

"And why do all this, not simply to better the world. You have a purpose. Fixing something, fixing... someone." That earned him a reaction. The crimson eyes spun violently and released a torrent of pitch-black fire.

Spinning to avoid the flames, he closed in and swept the massive blade, slicing each eye. Blinding the Uchiha, leaving him a blind, armless mess.

"So who is she, what's her name? Was it your mom? Sibling? lover? Crush?" Once again he got a muted response. Obito blindly leapt towards his voice, missing Naruto by a fair margin.

So you weren't even dating her. That's … pathetic. So who was she? Was it the girl next door? Or was it your teammate Rin Nohara? Was it her? Did you do all this for her?" Silence, pure silence.

"What would she say? Do you think she'd be proud of you? Do you think she'd be happy that you killed untold masses in her name? I know what she'd think. She'd be horrified of who you had become. What you at what you have become. A savage beast clinging to the past like a rat in the ocean. And how would you bring her back? Revive her with the Edo Tensei? No, because you know. Know that she would be disgusted by what you are. You are the monster I was made out to be. Violent, impulsive, dangerous, highly likely of snapping at any moment and killing everyone. So what was your plan really? Answer me!" Winding his leg back, a sonic boom echoed as force sent him flying.

Smashing through several rocks, the Uchiha came to a bloody stop beneath Naruto's new position.

"The Ultimate Tsukuyomi. It will trap the world in an inescapable dream. Each person will live out their perfect fantasy." Turning towards Madara, Naruto raised an eyebrow.

"That's your plan? Living in your own dream world? It wouldn't be real. She wouldn't be real. And deep down, you always knew that, didn't you. Even if you erased your memories, you'd still know something was wrong. But you couldn't accept it, because that would mean you were wrong. That everything you did was in vain."

"Shut up. Shut up! SHUT UP! You don't know what you're talking about. It would be real if I said it was. I just have to finish it. It's all your fault. I'd be done by now if it weren't for you. Everyone would be happy, everyone would be content. It's your fault. Your fault. Your fault. Your fault. " staring down at the Uchiha, Naruto's expression changed from rage to something else.

"Obito Uchiha, I pity you. You are a sad, strange little man. Blinded by the past and ignorant of what was going on. You're sick. Sick in the mind, and rotten in the soul. I thought about this moment for a long time, and now… all I feel is pity for you. I take no pleasure in this. May the Gods and the dead have pity on you." Placing his foot on his back, Naruto lined his blade up to his neck.

"You think you can stop me? ME? I'll kill you and rip your soul from the afterlife and make you watch as everything you not burns. You're going to burn, you're friends are going to burn. You'll all going to-" the blind head of Obito rolled across the ground, his mouth mutely opening and closing before it was reduced to nothing beneath Naruto's foot.

Pivoting to face Madara, Naruto dropped the internal barriers and marched towards the last Uchiha. Each step making a distinct, wet sound.

"While it would be interesting to watch you seamlessly dismantle this one, I'm afraid I still have use of him."

Frozen in his step, Naruto could only watch as the black orbs smashed into Madara body, fusing with it and creating a thick shell. Before he could even scream, it was over.

The Pitch black silhouette began to morph and twist. Growing in height and appearance, taking on a distinctly non-masculine appearance.

Then, like a bird of myth, the shell shattered to reveal her.

The lady had ankle-length white hair and an equally long, flowing white robe. The collar had a distinctive black tomoes pattern and gold/purple accents. She also bore the milky-hued eyes, not dissimilar to the Hyūga, and a central eye resembling a fusion between the Rinnegan and Sharingan. Having three layers with each section having three tomoe. Lastly were the two bony protrusions on her head resembling or rabbit ears.

"It's a …pleasure to finally meet you, grandson." Her simple utterance seemed to break the trance Naruto was in, immediately putting him on the defense.

"Look, I have no idea who you are, but I can guarantee that you aren't my grandma. So who are you?" Locking eyes with him, she not so much as walked but floated towards him.

"It appears that my sons have neglected to mention me, I am Kaguya Ōtsutsuki and it is high time that we have a family discussion." Standing directly in front of him, she narrowed her eyes before extending her index finger and placing it on his forehead

"And you, Ruby Rose, are not family." In a blast, everything went dark.

Ruby lurched awake with a searing pain in her head and some distant noise. It was after a while did she realize it was her screaming.
