Part 2
Stoutland and I went on and on. I didn't know where I was leading him to, but hopefully we'll find our new home soon. I don't think Stoutland could go on forever and frankly, I couldn't either,
"Litten." Stoutland said to me, coughing. "Are we going to stop soon? I'm afraid we're going to have to stop soon. My legs are getting weak. I can't go on." I stopped and looked around.
"Litten?" Stoutland asked. "Did you hear what I said? I…"
"We can stay there." I said. Stoutland looked at the bridge that I was looking at, then back at me.
"The bridge?"
"Under the bridge. What do you think?" He looked at the bridge again then back at me.
"Well, it isn't an ideal place to live, but…" He coughed again. "It's good enough." I walked beside Stoutland towards it.
"And the part about it, we're far away from that pesky Persian. He won't find us here."
"I hope you're right. I don't think I'm strong enough to move again." I hope I was right too. I sure don't want to force Stoutland, causing him pain. I just have to fight that Persian if ever I see him again and show him whose boss. After all, we can't run away from our problems forever.
I saw that trainer yet again (honestly, I see him so many times these days that it isn't a surprise anymore) when I was eating the piece of fruit that Anela had left out for me. She asked me if I had switched locations and I answered her in my Pokemon cry. I then ran off.
As I was strolling around, I heard shouting. I looked. It was that Kantonian Meowth. He was with a Mareanie. Mareanie was about to attack a Popplio and a Rowlet when I let out my Ember attack, burning the Poison Pokemon. Meowth then went to attack me with his Fury Swipes. I did my own Fury Swipes attack, knocking him out cold.
"Bravo!" Popplio said. The sea lion Pokemon applauded. "You did it; we are saved!" I saw that Rowlet had a ring around its neck, and the poor thing was upside down, struggling, so I went over to check it out. I tipped Rowlet over.
"What are you doing?" Rowlet asked.
"Just trying to help you." I answered. I tried to take off the ring to no avail "I can't get it off."
"I can't get it off either." Popplio said. "I tried everything, but nothing worked. But we have to get it off him somehow!"
"I agree." I said. I then thought of something. Stoutland! "But, I think I know who can help us; come on!"
"Okay." Popplio replied. "Just let me put Rowlet in my bubble balloon."
"What?!" Rowlet cried out. "Not the bubble!" With that, Popplio blew a giant bubble and before long Rowlet was inside it. The owl then went crazy, trying to escape, but couldn't.
"I DO NOT WANT TO BE IN HERE!" He shouted. He then calmed down after a few seconds.
"Ready?" I asked the two of them as I looked behind me.
"Ready!" They both said at once. So I led them away.
When Popplio and Rowlet saw Stoutland, who looked our way when I called to him, they were both shocked.
"Your friend lives under a bridge?!" Popplio cried out. "I mean, Alola, Stoutland."
"Man!" I heard Rowlet say. "This day keeps getting on weirder and weirder!"
I pushed Rowlet over to Stoutland and popped his bubble with my claws.
"What do you think?" I asked Stoutland."
"Hmmm, interesting!" Stoutland observed as he got off from the couch and walked over to him. Rowlet shut his eyes tight.
"Please, don't hurt me!" He begged. "Don't hurt me, don't hurt me! I just want this stupid thing off!" Rowlet opened his eyes a little when Stoutland sniffed at the owl Pokemon. "Uh, what are you doing? Why are you sniffing and way up close to me like this? I feel like you're in my personal space." Stoutland then licked Rowlet. This shocked the bird Pokemon.
"Gross!" Rowlet cried. "Why'd you lick me? You are supposed to be helping me, not licking me!"
"Uh, is Stoutland okay, Litten?" Popplio asked me. I assured her that the elderly dog was. "Well, if you're sure." Stoutland then looked at me.
"This Rowlet belongs to that Pikachu trainer." He said. "There's no doubt in my mind about that."
"Wow!" Popplio applauded. "You're good! That's correct. I applaud the fact on how well you knew that."
"And you can tell all of that by just licking and sniffing me?" The confused bird Pokemon questioned. "How?" But no one answered him. "Well, I don't know how you did it." Rowlet said to Stoutland. "But, thank you. That is my trainer indeed." He cuddled up next to him."I miss sleeping in his backpack."
"Glad I could help." Stoutland said, then licked Rowlet again who shrieked once more.
"Just stop licking me." Popplio laughed.
"Oh, Rowlet!" She then noticed me as I leapt on some boxes and did some licking to myself. "Litten? What do we do now?"
"Sounds like you two got yourself into a heap of trouble." Stoutland observed. Popplio frowned.
"You can say that again. We miss home with our trainers, Ash and Lana." She said. "But poor Rowlet, he can't fly, not anymore. Not with that blasted ring on him. And to make matters worse, I don't know where they are. Oh, where are they, where are they, WHERE ARE THEY?! I'm so confused! My head is spinning. If we don't find them soon, I'm going to go crazy!" She then saw that Rowlet had fallen asleep and got extremely upset by this. She went over to him and Stoutland, and slapped Rowlet awake. "How dare you sleep while I'm panicking! TIME TO WAKE UP!" Rowlet screamed as he bounced like a ball, then stopped.
"I'm up and alert!" He said.
"Perhaps Litten can help you find your trainers." Stoutland suggested. "I'm sure he won't mind." He looked at me. "Right, Litten?"
"What?" I questioned, feeling uneasy about this. "Well, you see, I…."
"Oh, Litten, would you?" Popplio asked me. "Would you really? Because, that'll be great! Please!" I sighed when I saw Popplio's pleasing eyes and got up and leapt down off of the boxes.
"Fine!" I agreed. "Very well. I'll help you find Lana and Ash." Popplio cheered by clapping again.
"Yay! We are going to reunite with our trainers soon, happy days! I can hardly wait!" Rowlet sighed.
"I guess, it's bubble time again." He said.
"Yep!" Popplio agreed. "It's bubble time." Rowlet frowned.
"This is just not my day, is it?"
We were strolling beside a river with Popplio bouncing Rowlet in a bubble on her nose. I looked at her,
"Are you sure you should be doing that near the river?" I asked her. "It seems dangerous. You could lose him."
"No, it's fine." Popplio assured me. "He might even like the water. It'll be a rest for my nose too." She tipped her nose towards the river and the bubble floated off of her nose and onto the water. Rowlet ran as fast as he could. Doing his best to catch up. Popplio didn't seem to notice that the poor owl was struggling and was thrilled. "See? He likes swimming in the water. He's having a blast!"
"I don't think so." I just said.
"Alright, Rowlet. You had your fun. I'll get you." Popplio jumped in the water to retrieve Rowlet. She then bounced the bubble of her nose again, got out of the river and we both followed the bubble floating away. I walked ahead of the bubble as Popplio followed from behind.
"Look, Mommy!" Said a little boy to his mother as they and a man passed by. "A Rowlet in a bubble floating away!" He laughed. "It makes me laugh!"
"My, my!" The mother observed as well. "I guess it is a pretty funny sight to see."
"You don't see that every day." The man added.
When we found Rowlet, his bubble had landed in a young woman's lap as she and her friend were sitting on a beach. Another young girl was standing beside them. I put my paws up on the bench. The young ladies were laughing. They stopped laughing and the one that had Rowlet on her lap looked at me and Popplio.
"Do you know this Rowlet?" She asked. I mewed.
"Pop, pop!" Popplio just answered.
"I guess we better help them get their friend out of this bubble." Her friend suggested.
"Good idea!" The standing friend agreed. "Although it is quite funny, the poor thing might be trapped in there."
"No, no." Popplio told the girls even though they clearly couldn't understand. "We can get him out of there just fine on our own. We don't need you girls' help. If I whack it with my flipper hard enough, I can get him out easy peasy."
"I can too with my claws." I stated. "That too." Suddenly, the wind picked up and the bubble floated off and away. "Well, here we go again." Popplio and I left as the girls just stood there in shock, wondering if they should follow us or not.
Rowlet landed on a pier with a bunch of Wingulls flying around. The sun was setting. Popplio looked to the sun and sighed with content.
"Isn't this view amazing?" The sea lion asked. "Watching the sunset on this pier with all of these Wingulls?"
"It is." I agreed.
"I must admit it is beautiful." Rowlet spoke. "But what'll be even more beautiful is if we were watching it from the comfort of back home and from Ash's backpack…for me that is."
"Oh, hush, Rowlet." Popplio said. "Let's just admire the view for another minute, then we can leave and continue our search." Rowlet sighed again.
"Very well."
I began to leave when enough was enough. "Come on." I said. "It's going to get late soon."
"Okay." Popplio agreed, and left after me with Rowlet.
We were walking along, just minding our own business with Popplio bouncing Rowlet on her nose when all of a sudden, she placed the bubble onto the ground.
"I'm exhausted!" The water Pokemon complained. "As fun as is it, bouncing Rowlet on my nose, I can't take another step." I looked at her.
"Well, we can't stop in the middle of the path." I informed him. "We have to keep going. Just a little further. We can't quit now."
"But I'm just so tired! Can't we just rest up against this building briefly?" I thought about this. I was just about to answer when suddenly, a net captured all three of us, forcing Popplio and Rowlet to panic.
"What's going on?!" Popplio wanted to know.
"Why is the universe so against me today?!" Rowlet cried out as well. "All I wanted was a nap like always. Is that so much to ask?" The net lifted us off of the ground with all of us in it. As we went up higher and higher, we heard laughter. They then did their monologues as we were all placed into our cage. They were familiar. They were the same Meowth and blue and red haired people from before. Well, if we had to bump into the familiar, these clowns were better than that Persian. I can easily defeat these people no problem.
They all looked at us. Both Popplio and Rowlet were downright terrified, but not me. I bared my teeth and stood my ground as the blue haired man read about my species from a book and told his friends. Meowth was mad at me and pointed an accusing paw at me.
"I was just about to capture these two when you messed it up!" He shouted at me. I messed it up? Why was he planning to capture them in the first place? Pokemon don't capture Pokemon, trainers do. The nerve of this Pokemon, blaming me like this!
"Oh, a party crasher, eh?" Blue-haired said. I didn't know what that meant, but I was angry just the same.
"Let us go!" I commanded. The lady asked for a translation, so Meowth gave her one.
"What an attitude." The man complimented. "Posing as a hero."
"You do know your friend is asleep, don't you?" This from the red-haired lady. We all looked at Rowlet and couldn't believe it. She was right. Despite all that was going on around him, the owl had fallen asleep.
"Not again!" Popplio cried as the lady burst out laughing.. "Not now! Doesn't he know that this isn't an ideal place to take a nap?"
"I don't think he cares." I told her. "He just wants to nap."
"You got that right, but it's still embarrassing!" Popplio then bopped him a few times to wake up the sleepy Pokemon. This shocked me at how violent the water Pokemon could be.
"No…taking…naps…at… times like these!" The sea lion chided. "Can't you see we're all in peril and all you can think about is sleeping?!" Rowlet looked at her.
"Maybe I was just hoping that us being caught was a bad dream?" Rowlet tried. "And I was hoping to wake up in Ash's bag safe and sound, hoping to fall back asleep?" I could tell that Popplio wasn't buying it.
"You really know how to rock and roll." Meowth said to me. "Hey, want to join Team Rocket?" I was angry once again. No, never!
"Good idea!" His male friend said.
"We could really use you!" The female agreed. They then laughed creepily as they approached me. I then did my fire attack, burning them all. They all screamed and yelled. Meowth then recognized me and told his friends. I decided right then and there to tell them my backstory.
"I'll say it again." I began. "There is a really sick friend of mine, Stoutland, that I have to get to. He has been mentoring me for quite a while since my trainer abandoned me."
"Abandoned?" Popplio asked, shocked.
"Oh, yeah?" Meowth observed. "It sounds like you have quite the backstory." I continued. As I talked, I could tell my story was really moving to all of the Pokemon.
"Sad!" Mareanie observed.
"This is all very tragic!" Wobbuffet added sadly. "I can't believe something so awful can happen to a Pokemon like you." The bad humans were mad that they couldn't understand my story.
"Litten is a true leader." Meowth explained with sad eyes. "…dedicating his life for the sake of the weak." Meowth then snapped out of it and once again asked for me to join them. His trainers marveled at the very idea.
"Please, don't." Rowlet begged me.
"These are very bad people." Popplio told me. "Take it from Rowlet and myself, who have seen these people a lot recently."
"I'll do it." I said to Meowth, which shocked both Rowlet and Popplio. I eyed the two. "On one condition, you don't harm my friends," Meowth then took out a device and pushed the button to lower the bars of the cage and ordered Poppilo and Rowlet to stay put. I then did my Fury Swipes to break open the net that had us trapped. Meowth and the two humans were shocked.
"I think it's time for you clowns to taste your own medicine." Popplio said, trapping them in bubbles. "Rowlet, it's your turn."
"Right." The owl said. Determined, he charged at them with a powerful Peck attack that sent the villains flying in the air. To finish them off, I did my Ember and Popplio did her Bubble Beam. The bubbles popped and they all blasted off, just as Ash, Pikachu and his human friends appeared. I then made my getaway, but I didn't run off completly. I still saw the trainers reunite with their Pokemon and a happy Rowlet after Ash struggled a bit to take the ring off of the owl's neck. Ash then appeared confused so I did my cry. They alll looked at me from up on the railing.
"It's Litten!" Ash said.
"Litten?" Popplio asked. Rotom then told Ash that I was the same Litten as before. Ash was awestruck by this. He then just looked at me for what seemed like hours.
"No!" Rowlet cried. "I don't want you to go!"
"Rowlet's right." Popplio agreed. "But sadly, I don't think we have much of a choice."
Ash then finally suggested that I must have been the one that helped out Rowlet and Popplio. "How's Stoutland doing?" This caught me off guard. In all that had happened today, I nearly had forgotten. Instead of answering, I ran off. I heard him shout after me, but I didn't go back. I just kept on running.
"How was it?" Stoutland asked me when I returned to him under the bridge.
"Good." I answered. He saw that I was alone,
"I see you led Popplio and Rowlet to their trainers. They must really love their trainers and their trainers must really love them."
"Yeah." I just agreed. I was sure going to miss Popplio and Rowlet. They were good Pokemon. It saddened me that I probably will never see them again. But then again, maybe not, especially Ash's Rowlet.
After a few days, I stole Ash's doughnut and ran off with it when he, Pikachu and a Rockruff were with Anela.
"Hey, wait!" Ash called after me, but I just kept on running.
"Here's a tasty doughnut." I said to Stoutland as I gave the doughnut in front of him.
"Thanks." Stoutland thanked. "This sure looks delicious. While I eat it, how about more training?"
"Ok." I agreed, and did another sorry excuse for a Fire Fang after Stoutland refreshed me of what to do.
"Who's there?" He suddenly asked. I was confused. Huh? Was someone here? What was Stoutland talking about? I was about to ask when a familiar voice spoke.
"Hey, Stoutland, how are you?" Great! It was Ash. He looked at me and bent down to my level. "So Litten, I guess you've been practicing Fire Fang, haven't you?" Has he been spying on me? Stoutland suddenly coughed again. This concerned all of us. Ash stood up. "You alright, Stoutland?" Both Pikachu and Ruckruff did their concerned cries too.
"Oh, yeah!" Ash said with an idea. He looked at me again. "I brought some berries." He started to dig one out from one of his bags that he was carrying."How about you and I split some…" But I did my Ember attack right in his face. He screamed as Rockruff and Pikachu were shocked at what happened.
"LITTEN!" Stoutland scolded me. "You don't do that!" 'He deserved it'. I was going to say. 'He interrupted our training and he shouldn't be here.' But I didn't. I felt ashamed instead.
"You're right." I said. " I shouldn't have done that. I'm sorry." Stoutland looked at the three Pokemon.
"Sorry about that." Stoutland apologized to them for me. "He means well."
"It's ok." Pikachu said back. "It's no problem."
"I guess Litten hasn't changed at all." Ash observed bringing his head back to the water's surface that he must have dunk it in to get rid of the burn. Rowlet went beside me.
"I thought I would never see you again." He said. "Boy, am I glad I'm wrong. How's it going?"
"Oh, you know." I said to him. "Caring for Stoutland, trying to learn Fire Fang. Other than that, nothing much, and now we should probably get back to it." I went to my spot to show it off. I didn't care that I now had more than one audience member. They had apparently been spying on me. They knew what I was up to. I had nothing to hide. I heard Stoutland coughing as I got ready.
The next day, Stoutland fell out of the sofa. I ran up to him with great concern.
"Stoutland!" I cried. "Stoutland, are you okay."
"I…think the time… has come, Litten. I think it's time you do your lessons…without me." He coughed some more. But I was determined. I knew what to do.
"You stay here, Stoutland." I told the elderly Pokemon. "You need help. I'll be back. Just hang in there." I ran off before Stoutland could continue. I had to find Ash. He helped me by taking me to a Pokemon Center before and I knew he wouldn't hesitate to help Stoutland. I could have just gotten Anela, but she was old and Ash was young. After seeing him and his Pikachu so many times, I trust him now. I just hope I can just get to him on time.
When I saw Ash, Rotom and Pikachu, they were being confronted by Meowth and his no good trainers. I quickly did my Ember attack on them. As they screamed, I ran up to Ash.
"Litten, what's wrong?" Ash asked. I pawed at his pants leg. Please, you have to come quick. It's Stoutland. I knew he couldn't understand, still, I had to try. To my relief, he seemed to get that something was wrong. He ordered his Pikachu to do an Electric Ball on the three clowns. Once that was all taken care off, we all ran.
"Stoutland!" Ash cried as soon as we all made it and ran towards his barely breathing body.
"Stoutland." I told my mentor. "It'll be all right. I brought one of the humans in the whole world that I can trust."
"Litten's right, Stoutland." Pikachu told him. "Ash' ll help you. He won't let you down."
"It's having a hard time breathing." Rotom observed, No, duh! I wanted to say, but didn't.
"This is what you were worried about, wasn't it?" Ash asked me. Yeah. Can you help him out?
"Don't worry, Litten." Pikachu assured me. "Again, If there's one trainer you can trust, it's Ash."
"Yeah!" Rockruff agreed.
"Don't worry." Ash said to me. "We'll get Stoutland to the Pokemon Center right away." He grabbed Stoutland and tried to carry him. Rotom was confused and asked about this. So was I. This trainer is going to carry a Stoutland that probably weighed a lot more than him? Ash reassured him that it was fine, and that he thought it was his only option.
We struggled, but we finally made it to a Pokemon Center, the same one I was at before. Once in the building, we gave Stoutland to Nurse Joy and she and her Chancy brought him to an operating room. We all went to look in the window as Joy worked on him.
"Stoutland." I said, pawing at the window. "Please…please, you have to fight this. I know you can. You just have to, please."
"I know you're worried, Litten." Pikachu assured me. "But it's okay. Stoutland is going to be just fine. You just have to trust Nurse Joy."
"You're right." I just said. "This is not going to speed things up."
"Right, so just, relax." All of a sudden, the door opened and Nurse Joy came out. I jumped out of Ash's arms and went inside of the room. I jumped onto the platform beside Stoutland.
"I'm here, Stoutland." I told him. Stoutland opened his eyes and looked at me. He touched me with his paw.
"Litten." He said. "Sorry, I put you through all of this."
"It's okay." I assured him, licking his paw. "As long as you get better, that's all that counts." The door closed, muting all of the humans' voices as they talked to each other, I wondered what they were saying. But all I truly cared about was Stoutland's speedy recovery as I licked his face.
"Come on, Stoutland." I said to him the next morning. "Are you all better?" Stoutland stood up slowly and took off his bandage. He nodded. "Then let's get you home." Again, he nodded.
We both went back to our hideout. I was surprised that Stoutland had the strength, but apparently he did. He even had the strength to crawl back onto his makeshift bed. Maybe it was all Nurse Joy's doing. That woman can sure work wonders!
After one of our late night training sessions, I curled up next to my sleeping mentor, and fell asleep myself.
I found myself walking down a path to somewhere.
"Litten." Stoutland said to me. "Good job. I'm so proud of you."
"Stoutland!" I cried out. I then found myself running to him. "Stoutland!" But something strange happened. As I was running towards him, he moved back. But he didn't move on his own. It was like something was moving him. Still, I tried to get to him. "Stoutland, don't leave! I'm coming!"
"Continue your lessons without me." I stopped as he disappeared. Huh? Continue my lessons without him? What does he mean by that?
I woke up and noticed that Stoutland was not beside me.
"Stoutland?" I asked. I jumped down. "Stoutland? Stoutland, where'd you go?" I didn't get it. How can a big Pokémon like Stoutland get up and leave without accidentally waking me up in the process? I looked everywhere, but Stoutland was no where in sight.
I even went back to our previous hideout. Still no luck. I passed by Anela. I came by a cliff and looked at the water down below. Oh, Stoutland, where the heck are you?
I walked right back under the bridge. I then saw something like a brown tornado. I ran towards it, thinking that my beloved mentor had returned. But as soon as I got there, it suddenly vanished. Why did I think that weird random tornado was Stoutland? I then gasped as I heard and saw the couch that Stoutland was on had given way and broke.
No! A single leaf had fallen and landed on the couch. Suddenly, I think I knew what had happened somehow. No! No, no! I ran and looked at the now bare tree before me. My greatest fear had been confirmed and I instantly knew that Stoutland was not coming back. I began to cry as it began to rain.
"Stoutland, you promised! You promised that you would always be with me. How could you break it? Stoutland!" I cried and cried.
After my cry, I walked over to the makeshift bed and jumped on it to curl up and sleep.
Later, I heard someone familiar talking to me, Ash. but I wasn't really hearing it. I also heard a Pokemon's voice, Pikachu.
"You have to eat, Litten." Pikachu's voice said to me. "Here's a piece of fruit." I moved my position to tell them that I wasn't interested.
That night, I woke to see the piece of fruit in front of me, but I didn't eat it. Instead, I just stared at the leaf that was still on the couch before me.
Later again, I heard another familiar voice. It was that Meowth. He begged me to talk to him and told me talking would make me feel better. Ugh! Why couldn't they get the hints and just leave me alone?
I heard Pokemon voices and Ash's voice again. I opened my eye as he said that he was going to stay there until I ate. He also said that Professor Kukui said that it was alright.
"You are not alone in this, Litten." A Pokémon's voice assured me. "You are never alone in this."
"Yeah." Someone else add. I think it was Rockruff? "As awful as this situation is, you can always count on friends to help you get through it!"
"True that!" This from Rowlet. "My dreams and I are ready to support! I'm sure Poppilo would too!" Even though I wanted to be alone, I must admit, it was nice. Their words comforted me.
When I awoke, I was on the floor. Ruckruff and Rowlet slept beside us as I saw Pikachu sleeping in his lap. Wow! This kid was serious. He really did stay by my side. I didn't ask him too, but he did. Perhaps he knew what I was going though. I was impressed by how this young man truly cared.
The next morning, I was sleeping on the couch again and sensed movement. I looked and saw that it was the leaf. It blew away and I ran towards it.
There was a rainbow in the sky and was that Stoutland in the clouds? I smiled. It was a little hard to tell and my eyes might be playing tricks with me, but I knew it was my ol' buddy!
"Litten." He said. "I'm so proud of you. Now, go, live your life."
"I will, Stoutland." I said as his image disappeared and regular clouds took his place. "Thank you for taking me in. I'll never forget you, Stoutland."
I saw Ash standing behind me and ran under his legs. I fetched the piece of fruit and ran back to him and dropped it and rolled it to him with my nose.
"For me?" He asked. To my surprise, he moved it back to me, I moved it back to him. He moved it back to me. We did this for what seemed like forever. Ur
"You're making me dizzy!" Pikachu spoke. We both looked to see that the electric rodent had indeed fainted with dizziness. Ash and I looked at each other and both grinned.
Ash then asked me something that I never thought he asked.
"Hey, Litten." He said. "Would you like to join us?" I was shocked. Was he serious? Did this kid ask me to be his Pokemon? Does he care that still haven't perfected Fire Fang? Well, he asked me before, so I don't know why I was so shocked.
I then did Ember to his face again. I wanted to be his Pokemon, but first he had to prove himself. He seemed to get the idea that I wanted to battle him after he pulled his head out of the water. He was just as eager as I was for our battle.
He used his Pikachu. We battled a bit. I was satisfied. I was ready to be this guy's Pokemon. He must have read my mind for he asked just that. I nodded in agreement, He got out his Pokeball.
"Then, go, Pokeball!" He said, throwing the Pokeball into the air. I leapt up after the ball, pressed the button with my paw, and went inside.
The next thing I knew, he called me out again. Pikachu, Rowlet and Ruckruff all came up to me.
"You are now Ash's Pokemon." Pikachu said to me. "Congrats! I know you are going to miss Stoutland, but never forget, we're always a team and always by your side!"
"We're glad to have you!" Rockruff added.
"I'm so glad you're with us now." Rowlet put in. "Popplio won't believe it either."
"Thanks." I said to them. "I'm glad to be a part of this team too. I know for a fact that Ash will be a better trainer compared to my previous one." Ash went up to us with the bags.
"I'm glad you're coming along for the ride." Ash said. "Now, what you say we all eat together?" I smiled up at him. I'm glad to!
He dumped all of the fruit on the ground and we all ate. Stoutland may be gone, and I will miss him every day, but I know he'll be glad about my upcoming chapter with Ash. As we all ate, I sensed Stoutland's presence and knew that he is watching over me and for as long as I was alive, always will.
