-Lucy's Forgotten Past Part 1-

I apologize for taking so long to update, please forgive me dear Nakama's! I had been taking personal time to grieve my fur baby's death. The booster shot gave me a fever. And more. Not trying to make excuses, just trying to explain.

Song Title - [Ost] Happy No Theme

Artist - Takanashi Yasuharu

Many Years Ago.

"Lucy! Would you come here please?" Layla called.

"Okay momma!" Lucy shouted in reply.

5-year-old Lucy sped over to her mom happily while wondering, 'What's going on?'

Layla smiled cheerfully at the sight of her daughter. Seeing the excitement and nervousness in Lucy's eyes, made the older blonde bite her bottom lip in anticipation. She bent down to her princess' eye level after calming herself and asked, "Lucy, you know how you've been asking to go with me on one of my adventures to the other worlds?"

And as anticipated, Lucy nodded her head quickly while her eyes sparkled with joy and hope. The young blonde couldn't help but ask, "Am I finally old enough to go with you?!"

Layla looked apologetically while responding, "Not yet my princess. But what do you say about inviting some of my friends and their children from the other worlds for your birthday? Or did you forget your big day is tomorrow?" Layla questioned in suspense.

At first, Lucy's demeanor dropped slightly. But after hearing everything her momma had to say, she couldn't help but squeal in excitement, just as Acnologia, and Zeref entered the room. The males took in the scene in front of them and saw Layla chuckling. While Lucy was basically jumping off the walls in excitement.

Both males looked at each other, grinned, then proceeded towards the females. Acnologia went to Layla while Zeref joined Lucy and her enthusiasm. Layla and Acnologia shared a chaste kiss and smiled at each other also in excitement.

"So, my darling wife. I see you finally told our little princess her birthday surprise." Acnologia said then laughed as he looked in their children's direction. Zeref was giving Lucy a picky back ride while they laughed happily.

Layla smiled adoringly at their prince and princess while nodding. "Yes, I did. And you were right, I didn't need to worry about Lucy hating her surprise. If everything works out at Lucy's party, the transition to spending time out of our castle will be a big step in their social skills. I hope our children will be as close to their new friends as I am with their parents. After all, I was given the same opportunity at Lucy's age and I'm so grateful for the experiences."

Layla then thought to herself, 'I know my prince and princess are wise for their ages. Though as a mother, I can't help but naturally be worried for my children's safety. But I know they'll eventually need more experience to face the world. Even though my son and husband faced their fair share before entering my life... I just hope our present will be fruitful for everyone.'

The older blonde was snapped out of her musings when her daughter tugged on her dress. She looked down and smiled while asking, "Yes my princess?"

Lucy grinned widely while saying, "Thank you momma, daddy, and big brother for this surprise gift. I'm really excited even though I did forget tomorrow was my birthday hahahah. But momma. Would you like some help decorating our castle? We barely started yet..."

Layla's emotion went from joy to panic. She almost forgot to breath when Lucy, Zeref, and Acnologia group hugged her. Instantly calming the older blonde's nerves in a matter of seconds. Lucy laughed and said, "Don't worry momma, we're here to help. You don't need to do this alone."

"But Lucy, it's your birthday. You shouldn't need to worry about the details. I was so worried you wouldn't like your surprise that I forgot to decorate everything in advanced like I normally do, just in case." Layla said abashed.

This time it was Acnologia's turn to put in his 2 cents. He gently took her soft cheeks in his hands, looked deep into her pretty brown eyes that he adores, and said, "Layla. You know we're here to help you. Even our other dragon friends/ families are willing to help because they love us. You don't need to take everything upon yourself just because you feel obligated. That's what we're here for. Please let us help you."

Layla's eyes grew misty as she looked to her husband, son, and daughter. All smiling encouragingly, making her feel blessed. She felt so thankful to have such a loving family to catch her if she should ever falter or fall. After wiping the tears away, she let out a sigh, and nodded in agreement. Causing relief to flood through everyone as they release from the hug.

Zeref, "Ahemed." Grabbing the family's attention and said, "Plus, you know you won't hear the end of it from uncle Toma if he hears you got sick because you overworked again. Perfectionism must run in the family since you and him are adopted siblings with a close bond. You sure adopt a lot of people into your life. Like my father and I."

Layla sweat dropped at hearing Toma nag her in the back of her mind while everyone else laughed at Zeref's statement but agreed wholeheartedly. Once everyone calmed down, Layla stated, "In that case, I'll make a portal to Earthland 1st then to the other Dragons-."

Acnologia interrupted his wife and said, "Don't worry about asking the Dragons, I already asked them to visit today. Why don't you enjoy your visit with your brother for the day. Our children, Skiadrum, Igneel, Grandeeney, Metalicana, Weisslogia, and I will help decorate. And before you decline, the other Dragons are bringing their children to visit. Even Makarov and his grandchild. Lucy and Zeref have been begging to see them again. Remember?"

Layla exhaled and nodded. She went to hug everyone starting with her wonderful husband, son, ending with her daughter. She looked into her princess' eyes, smiled, and said, "I was going to give this to you tomorrow, but I'd like you to have it today."

Lucy looked at the gift her momma handed her and saw a beautiful blue Key with her name engraved on the handle with a baby blue ribbon tied neatly. Her eyes widened considerably as she looked back at her momma with misty eyes. She knew from experience what this gift symbolized.

Layla also felt emotional while smiling at her daughter's reaction. "Yes my princess. I have a Key similar to yours except mine is red. I was just kidding I believe you are ready. I've used my Key to open portals to many worlds now. And just like me, it is your turn. There are a few secrets to this Spirit Key you'll need to learn on your own but it's well worth it. I will teach you how to use it soon. And after your magic is strong enough, you can open a portal without needing your Key. Happy early Birthday darling."

Tears started leaking out of Lucy's eyes as she thought to herself, 'This gift symbolizes momma's trust in me to learn outside of our castle, our home. I can't help but feel overcome with emotions greater than I can properly express. Of course, I relish in new challenges, but I doubt my abilities... Even though I've been working hard and learning like everyone else. But the true question is can I live up to every and anything? I just want to be as dependable and self-reliant as everyone I've ever looked up to. What if-.'

Layla carefully studied her princess' reaction, go from crying happily to complete worry. She pulled Lucy gently, effectively bringing the young blonde back to the present and into her comforting arms. And soon, Zeref and Acnologia joined in the group hug. Hoping to help sooth Lucy's frayed nerves.

The older blonde broke the hug 1st and put a finger under her daughter's chin so they were eye to eye. She gave a comforting smile before saying, "My dear. I hope those were tears of joy. I know when I 1st received my Key, I was excited but nervous as well. I wanted to make friends, but I also know it feels like a heavy responsibility was placed upon me. But I know you can handle it. You're smart, brave, and put 100% in whatever you do. Have faith in yourself Lucy."

Zeref put his hand gently on his sister's shoulder, making her look at him. He gave a tender smile and said, "You and I both know mom wouldn't have gifted you something, unless she believed you were ready. You're stronger than you've ever given yourself credit. If you have trouble believing in yourself, please believe in me and everyone else that has faith in you. Besides, you're just as hardheaded as the rest of the family. You know if anything goes wrong, you'll move Celestial heaven, all of Earthland, and anywhere else to make things right."

Lucy puffed out her cheeks in frustration while blushing. Knowing her brother was right but wondered why he had to point out a flaw she knew but was embarrassed about.

Everyone chuckled at Lucy's reaction except herself. And lastly, Acnologia went in for one more hug while saying, "Everyone is correct princess. You have what it takes. You are young right now, but the experiences you go through will help in your journey through life. Don't fear making mistakes, learn from them, and no matter what you will never be alone. We all love you and each other. And no one can break those bonds. I know you've been training hard as a Celestial Spirit Mage from your mother along with your Celestial Spirits, a Dark Mage from your brother, and Dragon Slaying from me. For someone so young to be able to use so many abilities, is already an accomplishment. Every Magic you've learned are your connections if catastrophes should ever befall and separate us."

Lucy felt slightly alarmed at the end. But she didn't have time to question her father after hearing, "Awww that's so sweet, group hug!" From across the room.

Acnologia quickly released the hug and stepped back before hearing, "OMPH!" Release from Lucy who was directly in the middle of a sandwich hug.

After Lucy saw the telltale hair colors of salmon and blonde while smelling their scent she screamed out, "Sting! NATSU! Get off I'm having trouble breathing... DOUBLE LUCY KICK!"

Lucy's legs connected effectively with both boys. Successfully freeing her from their grasps. From across the room, Rouge shook his head with eyes closed, Wendy sweat dropped, Laxus was on the floor laughing hysterically, Eric face palmed his forehead, and Gajeel rolled his eyes at the 2 Dragon Slayers that flew over their heads. The 5 Dragon Slayers that were a bit smarter were glad to have stayed back as they watched the scene in front of them.

Yet somehow even though they were launched furthest away, Natsu and Sting recovered quickly and sped back to their blonde female buddy before everyone else.

Lucy smelled the 2 return in light and fire speed. She couldn't help the sigh that escaped her lips while hearing, "Why'd you do that princess Lucy?!" The blonde-haired male questioned tearing up.

"Yeah, princess Luce. Aren't you happy to see us as we are to see you?!" The salmon-haired male asked while wrapping an arm around her shoulder.

Lucy rolled her eyes at their childish attitudes while shrugging Natsu off effectively. She couldn't help but smile and say sincerely, "Of course I missed you." But the smirk that followed made a shiver pass through the duo in fear. "Your crazy over the top attitudes is a lot to look forward to. Especially since you both interrupted an emotional moment for me and my family! And DON'T call me Princess!" She exhaled and in a sarcastic tone asked, "Is that okay with you Prince Natsu and Prince Sting!?"

In the background, you can hear the Dragons, Makarov, along with the other 4 Dragon Slayers [excluding Wendy] laughing at Lucy chewing out Natsu and Sting, who couldn't help but blush brighter than Igneel's scales. Zeref and Layla chuckled for a moment but stopped when they saw Lucy looking pissed off.

Layla thought, 'I think it's high time I left. Hopefully everything will be okay while I'm visiting my brother...' She trailed off while sweat dropping. She nodded to Zeref before vanishing in a glow and loud "Ding Dong!"

Zeref smiled at his mom before seeing her leave. He thought to himself, 'Should I get some popcorn and watch the show in front of me...? Or should I go train and avoid my sister's wrath?'

The obsidian-haired boy didn't have time to question further because out of nowhere, it became deadly silent. Curiosity got the better of him, so he looked towards his sister and saw why. There was Lucy, glaring like a Dragon about to rip someone's head off with multiple colors of Magic flowing all around her. His attention now, turned to Sting and Natsu who were shaking while they clung to each other like their lives depended on it. Smiling to himself Zeref thought, 'Lucy can protect herself without a doubt. At least I rarely need to worry about my beloved baby sister falling for anyone... For now.'

His heart squeezed tightly, but he mentally shook away the thought. Instead, his head his eyes landed on the salmon-haired boy. He allowed the bittersweet emotions to flit through his eyes while staring at him. He sighed to himself and thought, 'I did this all for him. We may not be related anymore, but at least he's alive. Maybe if the chance happens, I'll be able to explain myself. But for now, all I can do is love him from afar.'

Zeref snapped from his thoughts when he sensed a bit of his sister's attention glance in his direction. Of course, his family knew of his past and they always worry. The open connection and trust they have with each other is something he knew he'd never take for granted willingly. That and knowing his sister was able to sense very well for her age brought a small reassuring smile to his face. Regardless if they were related by blood or not just like his mom and uncle Toma of Fiore. After the sentimental feelings passed, he refocused back to his surroundings and gave a comforting smile back to his sister which she acknowledged in thought.

Everyone aside from Wendy and Zeref shivered in worry for the 2 Dragon Slayers caught in Lucy's anger. But once Lucy felt she got her point across, she calmed herself. And instantly, her Magic simmered back down and dissipated. She couldn't help the innocent smile that grew on her face afterwards. The only thought that passed through everyone's mind was, 'Stay away from Lucy's bad side!'

The rest of the day went off without too much mishap. Lucy welcomed everyone and explained what needed to be accomplished. The Dragons changed into their human forms to assist while everyone else did tasks they felt suited them while conversing. When everyone was ½ way finished, Lucy and Zeref chose this moment to disappear for a bit. Once the siblings returned, everything was finished and ready for tomorrow. Smiling to themselves, they stated loudly, "Lunch Time!"

A stampede headed their way until Lucy's Magic flowed again, effectively halting everyone in their tracks. Once everyone stood patiently, Lucy calmed herself and said, "Thank you for all your hard work! Please go individually into the kitchen. Zeref and I will serve you. I'd like the adults to be given their meals then our age group to show our appreciations and respect. Then please make your way outside so we don't mess anything up. Am I Understood!?"

Gulps could be heard before everyone stated, "Yes Lucy!"

Zeref chuckled and beamed at his sister before grabbing her hand gently, leading the way. The adults followed the siblings 1st. Even before entering the kitchen, you can smell the delicious aromas surrounding them. Miso Soup, Salad, Katsu Pork, Fried Rice, and Various Sashimi was neatly prepared on top of the giant island situated dead center of the kitchen. While almost everyone was starting to drool, Natsu looked confused and said, "Why isn't any of the dishes extra spicy?"

Many fell over while Lucy explained, "We cooked everything to our tolerance level. But we did prepare extra spicy sauces you can add to your food. It's outside on the table along with the drinks."

Those that fell stood up as Natsu nodded excitedly with fire surrounded his fists and state, "Yeah that's what I'm talking about! Thanks for the food! I'm All Fired Up Now!"

The utensils, bowls, plates, cups, and tray were next to the entrance. So, everyone grabbed what they needed and lined up. Zeref served the cold dishes while Lucy handled everything cooked. The male Dragons allowed Grandeeney to go 1st. And one by one, all the adults got what they wanted to eat and stood on the side. And when it was the children's turn, the male Dragon Slayers let Wendy go ahead of them which made their parents proud. Once everyone was served, they made their way outside, allowing Lucy and Zeref to catch their breathes and get their foods. After serving each other per Zeref's request, they followed their family to the great outdoors.

Once outside, everyone got comfy in their seats. Acnologia clanked his cup to get everyone's attention. He stood up and announced, "Thank you all for being here today! I'm sure we'd all love to thank our little chefs for preparing this meal we're about to consume as well!" Murmurs of "Thank You!" Surrounded Lucy and Zeref, causing them to blush profusely while they nodded silently.

Acnologia grinned at his children while continuing his speech, "I'm so bless to be surrounded by the many friends that have become our Nakama over the years. I am glad of our bond as parents and now the bonds our children have for each other. Like years before let's give our blessings, support, and best wishes every day our child grows in wisdom and age. Just like my daughter who'll be another year older tomorrow. Cheers!"

"CHEERS!" And just like that, Acnologia sat back down and everyone clapped their hands while saying in unison, "Itadakimasu!" Then began eating, while complimenting the food, as everyone celebrated in each other's company. Before anyone knew it, 2nds were being served, and lastly, the dessert Layla and Lucy made the night before. Everyone that got to enjoy, knew Lucy and Zeref were going to be very skilled in the kitchen later in life.

After the meal, Makarov stood up and said, "I think we can all agree when I say thank you Acnologia and your family every time you host us. We've all gotten closer over the many blessed years. A word of wisdom I can impart is during happy moments, sad moments... We can't share all of them. But whenever possible we will shoulder it together."

Everyone agreed wholeheartedly. Acnologia smiled and continued once Makarov sat down again, "Thank you Makarov for those wonderful words of wisdom. Now since my kids made the delicious meal, its only fair us parents clean up. What do you say?"

The adults agreed and this time, Skiadrum stated, "I couldn't agree more. However, I believe they should train together once their stomach settles."

Murmurs of agreement spread throughout the adults as they got up and gathered everything while leaving their kids alone. Some of the Dragon Slayers sighed while others got pumped. They all decided to stretch and get ready for more training.

"Lucy, would you like to train with me?" Wendy asked cutely.

The blonde female beamed in response and said, "I'd be honored to Wendy!"

Causing the males to think, 'Guess I'm out of luck.'

Except a salmon-haired boy who ran over and stated, "Luce! Fight Me!"

Causing the other guys to sigh and wonder, 'Is Natsu really a Dragon Slayer? He acts deaf most of the time.' Wendy and Lucy looked at Natsu apologetically. "I'm sorry Natsu. I'm going to train with Wendy. But if you like, I can train with you after we're finished?"

This gained everyone's attention as Natsu's deflated emotions perked back to life after his best friend. He grinned at her, showing his canines and stated, "You bet Luce!"

He then ran off to fight anyone that would take him on, causing all the males to brawl all in good fun. The 2 females couldn't hold back the laughter that escaped their mouths while watching the guy's rumble.

The females regained their attention quickly and began walking a good distance apart. Once ready, they faced each other and nodded. Thus, beginning their training.

Wendy started things off. "Sky Dragon, ROAR!" Lucy timed her dodge perfectly while countering with, "Open Gate Of The Firebird Phoenix! Star Dress Phoenix Form!"

Lucy's body bathed in light and fire her from head to toe. Once the fire disappeared, she was cocooned by her wings. After her fiery wings revealed Lucy, she was in her Star Dress ready to fight.

"Flaming Stars!" Lucy shouted. And from above, beautiful stars surrounded in fireballs rained down over Wendy.

The Sky maiden barely moved out of the way but she still got scratched and scorched in a few places. Wendy "Hissed!" From the minor pain but she didn't have time to formulate a counter because from behind, she heard Lucy say, "Phoenix, surround Wendy's body in fire!"

Wendy found herself in mini fire tornado that only surrounded her body, plus small floating flame cuffs around her hands and feet but the fire never touched her skin, clothes, or hair. The bluenette gulped with sweat dripping down in slight nervousness but she knew none of her loved ones will ever intentionally hurt her. She didn't notice Lucy standing in front of her until she was asked, "Do you yield Wendy?"

After Lucy saw Wendy smile and heard, "I yield Lucy. Great match!" The blonde returned the smile and ceased the fire, dismissing the flames and her Star Dress. She looked above to Phoenix and said, "Thank you so much for your assistance. You may return home to get some well deserving rest now."

The Phoenix Spirit nodded and left in a glow and "Ding Dong!"

Lucy then turned her attention to bluenette and said, "Recover Dragon, Blessed Healing!" Lucy was able to heal Wendy of all her injuries. Wendy looked at herself healed when she heard, "Great match Wendy. Your roar is getting stronger each time we practice together. I have no doubt you'll be very strong in the future."

The words Lucy just spoke caught Wendy off guard, causing her to blush at the compliment she just received. Before she could respond, there was a sound of clapping from behind them. The females looked back and saw Grandeeney walking towards them with a proud smile on her face. And behind the wind Dragon were Laxus and the others wrapped individually in Grandeeney's whirlwind which was closely following her like a pup to a leash. Wendy and Lucy sweat dropped after seeing the guys. Some of them were knocked out while others thrashed to get free.

Grandeeney stood in front of Wendy and gave her a hug while saying, "Well done my child. And she's right you know you will be very strong in the future. I'm so proud of you." Wendy teared up while hugging her momma tightly. In return, she rubbed her daughter's back in a comforting manner. She then looked up at the blonde child and said with a smile, "And I'm sure we can expect wonderful things from you as well Lucy. You have so much potential, never give up. Know your limits of course but in time don't be afraid of going beyond and surpassing those limits. That's how we grow. Confidence will come with time and experience." Lucy also teared up, so Grandeeney lifted her arm that was rubbing Wendy's back and tugged the blonde in for comfort.

Once the bluenette and blonde were all cried out, they looked up at Wendy's mom with smiles on their tear-stained faces. And in return, Grandeeney blew a soft wind that wiped the tears away. The 2 young females chuckled from the coolness gliding over their cheeks. They noticed how silent it has been and became curious. So, after separating from the hug, they looked over Grandeeney's shoulder to see all the boys were fast asleep.

It was the calm before the storm because that's when the rest of the Dragons came back from cleaning. Weisslogia yelled from the door, "Hey Grandeeney! How Are Things On Your End?!" Rousing all the male children awake instantly. Skiadrum smacked his twin from behind while asking, "When will you gain an indoor voice?" Igneel began laughing at the Yin Yang pair while responding, "You know that'll never happen!" Causing Skiadrum to deadpan while stating, "That might be the case. But you are no better than he is."

And thus, starting an arguing match between the 3 Dragons. Acnologia was last to catch the scene and said loudly, "You Dragons better not act this way in front of the guest's that Layla invited from the other worlds for Lucy's birthday tomorrow! I Swear!"

Before anymore mayhem could occur, Grandeeney's wind wrapped around Weisslogia, Igneel, and Skiadrum's mouths successfully shutting the 3 up. The female Dragon floated over with a smile on her face that was anything but innocent. Intentionally floating slowly and gracefully over to the frightened Dragons caught in her wind. The moment she stood right in front of them, she said in a sickly-sweet voice, "I don't think I need to remind you we are here in Acnologia and his family's home as guest's do I? And as guests, we should act respectfully and properly. And if you don't agree, your children will see 1st hand what can happen if you don't behave in someone else's dwelling." The 3 Dragons began to sweat in their human forms when Grandeeney lastly asked, "Do. I. Make. Myself. Clear?!"

Everyone aside from Lucy and Wendy all thought at the same time, 'The females in our life are SCARY!' The 3 Dragons in particular didn't wish to be on Grandeeney's bad side any longer, so they responded in a muffle, "Yes Ma'am!" She nodded her head and relinquished the wind bindings from everyone including the Dragon Slayers. Everyone scared, sighed in relief while trying to inch away from the somewhat peeved female Dragon.

Now that training was over, everyone just enjoyed each other's company. Until Natsu shouted, "Dang it! Luce and I haven't gotten a change to fight yet..." The mentioned blonde sighed and said, "I'm sorry Natsu. Maybe another time. Zeref and I have to cook dinner. So-."

She didn't get a chance to finish talking because the salmon haired boy shouted, "Yay More Food!" While bowing on the floor in thanks. Causing Lucy to blush in embarrassment while she walked away followed by a laughing Zeref on her tail.

But a certain bluenette noticed the sun was setting. Wendy decided to also follow and ask her sister figure, "Um Lucy... Do you mind if we stay over?"

Lucy opened her mouth, but she couldn't get a word in edgewise because Natsu chose that moment to rush over and yelled, "Yeah Luce, let's do this. I'm All Fired Up!"

Igneel chose this moment to smack his son over the head. While stating, "Don't pressure her! Where are the manners I taught you!?" The Fire Dragon King was about to turn his attention to Lucy but before he was able to, Natsu yelled, "Hey! What The Hell Was That For You Overgrown Fire Lizard Of A Dad!?"

"Why You-!" Igneel stated before the father and son yelling match began. Causing bluenette and blonde to sweat drop.

Lucy gently pulled Wendy into the kitchen and walked to the other side of the room so they can talk more privately... Or as private as one can be in a room full of D and DS'. [Who plays Dungeon & Dragons? Comment below.]

"I'd be more than happy if you all stayed." Lucy finally answered Wendy's question. And in the background, you could hear a "Yahoo!" From a certain salmon hair slayer. Causing Lucy to close her eyes and sighed for a moment while pinching the bridge of her nose. She took a calming breath before reopening her eyes while continuing her sentence. "Let me ask my dad and brother 1st but most likely it'll be a yes."

Wendy nodded and said, "Okay, I'll wait for you here."

Lucy nodded back, took her hand off her nose, and went over to Zeref 1st since he was in the room with them. "Hey big brother, do you think dad will agree to everyone sleep over tonight?"

Acnologia just entered the room with a smile and said, "Of course princess." Zeref chuckled and said, "Well, there's your answer. I know I'd have been okay with the idea. We have many rooms to spare just like everyone else."

Causing Lucy to shout, "Yay! Thank you both!"

She hugged them than looked over both their shoulders to see Wendy grinning happily since she heard everything with her enhanced hearing. The bluenette approached them as they were separating from their group hug. She bowed her head, causing her blue hair to cover her face as she said, "Thank you so much for allowing me, my momma, and everyone else to visit and stay for the night. We appreciate your hospitality every time."

Acnologia, Zeref, and Lucy smiled at Wendy's bowed head. The blonde hugged the bluenette, catching her off guard. She couldn't help but feel sentimental while saying, "Of course you and everyone are always welcomed. We're all Nakama here. No matter what happens, you'll always have a home with open arms."

Wendy teared up at her sister figure's words. Until she felt 2 separate hands gently lay on her shoulder and head. She looked up to see Lucy's brother and dad smiling kindly at her. They just nodded their heads at the bluenette, agreeing to Lucy's words. Causing more tears to travel down her cherub cheeks.

Lucy released Wendy from the hug. She gently wiped away the tears with the pad of her thumb and took a handkerchief from her pocket to let the bluenette blow her nose. Wendy gladly accepted the offered gift and cleaned herself up. After she smiled and said, "Thank you so much everyone! You are my Nakama also!" She turned her attention solely towards Lucy and asked, "Does that mean... I can finally call you my big sister now?"

Lucy was caught off guard by the question for a millisecond but quickly recovered and responded, "Nothing would make me happier than having you as my sister Wendy! Many wonderful examples have shown me you don't have to be blood to become a family." The blonde glanced up at her dad and brother as an indication causing them to grin at her.

Wendy then excused herself so she and her momma could go home very fast to gather what they need for the sleepover. Lucy followed her sister out. And upon noticing it was empty except for her dad, brother, Grandeeney, and sister. She realized everyone else must have had the same idea as Wendy did and left earlier.

After the wind Dragon and wind Dragon Slayer left, Lucy returned to Zeref's side and concentrate on making dinner. This time, their dad accompanied them in the kitchen and helped out.

By the time everyone came back including Layla, night had already fallen, and food was laid on the outside table from lunch. The spread was even more bountiful. Mashed Potatoes, Macaroni, Bacon, N Cheese, Stuffed Onigiri, Sushi, and more was a sight to behold.

Everyone sat down quickly, clapped their hands together, and said, "Itadakimasu!" And began to enjoy the feast. Conversation flowed very well throughout dinner and dessert. By the time everyone finished eating, food coma came crashing down upon every soul. The Dragons spread their wings and carried their children to the spare rooms but not before bidding each other good night. The hosts stayed up just long enough to clean everything and catch up before joining their guest to their own rooms.

The following day, everyone rose before the crack of dawn to train, shower, and get ready for the day. [Must take a lot of discipline to be a morning person or it comes naturally to some.]

Everyone was dressed and ready for the party by the time they met up for breakfast. Excited and nervous described the mood perfectly. Before they ate, Layla stood up to say, "Happy Birthday Lucy! Today, we are celebrating you even though you hate having all the attention." Many chuckled at this fact while Lucy blushed and looked down. "I can't wait for all of you to meet people from the other worlds today. Please make some new friends and have many more memories you'll be proud to share in the future."

Everyone murmured in agreement as Layla sat back down. They all clapped their hands together and said, "Itadakimasu!" And began eating. Once finished, Acnologia and the other Dragons offered to clean up.

Layla walked over to her daughter and asked, "Are you ready to go to the Celestial World now darling?"

Lucy beamed while saying, "Of course I am. It'll be my 1st time! Thank you for taking me momma!"

Layla chuckled while replying, "You are most welcome my princess. Okay. Let's go."

The young blonde waved to everyone as "See you later!" and

"Catch you at your party!" Were said in response. She held onto her mother's dress tightly. While Layla said in her mind, 'Open! Gate To The Celestial World!'

And with that, both female blondes glowed and disappeared with a "Ding Dong!" But not before Lucy shut her eyes tightly.

Once they got to their destination, Layla looked at her daughter and said, "We're here princess. You can open your eyes now."

Lucy opened her eyes slowly at 1st. But once her eyes were fully opened, you could see her face light up with wonder and joy. She saw the beautiful colors of the cosmos all around her in colors of dark blue, green, purple, gold, etc. She could hardly believe all the Celestial Spirits she saw and how many existed. She was shocked out of her mind literally and speechless.

The young blonde's attention returned after hearing a loud voice say, "Welcome Layla And Young Lucy. We Are Happy To Welcome You To Our World Today."

Lucy looked forward and saw a giant in armor and a huge mustache. Her eyes widened and she looked to see her momma bow her head, so she quickly followed suit. She heard a deep chuckle from the giant and almost glanced at him until he stated, "There's No Need To Bow."

Both blondes looked at him as he continued talking. "You Are Honored Guest's Today. Especially You Lucy." He turned his attention to the young blonde specifically to say, "Your Mom Has Been Telling Me How Dedicated You Are To Your Training. And Your Celestial Spirits Have Been Complimenting You For Your Kindness. I Have No Doubt You Will Become A Very Powerful And Wise Celestial Spirit Mage. And So Much More."

If there were any doubts left in Lucy's mind from the previous day, the giant in front of her squashed them away. She smiled brightly while saying, "Thank You Stache Face Sir!"

Layla "Gasped!" While the giant laughed loudly while saying, "I guess if it's from you young one, I'll accept that name. I'm actually the Celestial Spirit King."

Lucy started to panic for her disrespectful behavior, but the Celestial Spirit King chuckled once more while stating, "Do Not Worry. I'm Not Offended In Any Way." He turned his attention to Layla and said, "If Memory Serves Me Correctly Layla, You Asked Me To Remind You About Leaving Early To Pick Up Guest's For Young Lucy's Birthday. Am I Correct?"

Layla nodded and turned her attention to her daughter. She bent down and said, "Don't forget the time difference Lucy. I'll see you at your party." She hugged her daughter then stood back up to bow at the Celestial Spirit King before saying, "Open, Gate To Our Home!" A "Ding Dong!" Plus, glow later and Layla was gone. Leaving Lucy and The Celestial Spirit King in the Celestial World.

Lucy looked up and said, "Momma told me you wanted to give me something. Is that correct?"

"That is correct young Lucy. We don't have much time to talk before your party. So, we'll save that for another day. But for now, here are the gifts I discussed with your mother and blessed." The Celestial Spirit King said.

He put the gifts on the floor in front of Lucy. She bent down and saw a pure white Spirit Key and Key shaped earrings. After picking the gift up, she brushed her hand along the Key and inspected it. She then looked back up at the Celestial Spirit King and said, "Thank you so much! But... What is this Key?"

He looked to be in deep thought until saying, "Young Lucy. There will come a time when that Key you are given, will help you. Should you ever forget. Those earrings will also help. They can shape shift into any earring design while being able to store anything you don't wish to lose, while feeling weightless."

Lucy opened her mouth about to ask about forgetting when he started to say, "Looks like your time is up young Lucy. Please feel free to visit again. And enjoy your birthday."

She blinked before hearing a "Ding Dong!" And Lucy found herself back at home with her face in pain. After blinking a few more times, she realized all wide eyes were on her, with mouths open, and in speechless shock.

Directly in front of Lucy was a spikey ash blonde-haired boy with red eyes, and his fist against her face. Next to him was a obsidian-haired boy with red eyes. Near them, were 3 girls. 1st girl has short obsidian hair with ear lobes that droop and onyx eyes. 2nd girl has green long hair tied up in a bow at the end with a tung sticking out of her mouth and obsidian eyes. 3rd girl has long obsidian hair tied up in a ponytail and onyx eyes. She turned around and looked on the floor. At that moment, she saw who that punch was meant for. A green-haired boy who was shaking in fear and tears leaking out of his matching green eyes. She felt her heart go out to him while feeling connected to him in an unexplainable way.

She dismissed the pain momentarily. And with worry in her eyes, she extended her hand out to the greenette on the ground. She asked, "Are you okay? My name's Lucy."

Shocking the guests with her melodious voice and kindness. Even the boy on the ground looked at her hand in shock before looking into her eyes. Brown irises collided with green. And in those brown eyes, he saw comfort and abundance in concern but not a trace of malice or judgement. He didn't know why or how but he felt connected, at peace, and trusted her immediately as his heart fluttered. Without any further hesitations, he slowly reached his hand out and grabbed onto hers. The moment their hands met, he responded, "Y-yagi, m-m-my n-name's Yagi Midoria Izuku. O-or y-y-you c-can c-call m-me Izuku i-i-if y-you w-w-want. I-I'm b-b-better n-now."

Once Lucy felt she has his hand securely in hers, she pulled him up easily while smiling. She then responded, "Nice to meet you. And I'd love to call you Izuku. I hope we can get along!"

A few males glared in jealousy though went completely unnoticed by Lucy and a few others. Izuku blushed harder at the girl in front of him before stuttering, "T-t-thank y-you." He then realized that her face was bleeding and screamed, "Oh No! It's All My Fault You Got Hurt! I'm So Sorry!"

Lucy looked at him in confusion. He then explained, "You're Bleeding!"

She brushed her hand against her face and looked at the red liquid dripping down her fingers. But her body language and eyes remained the same and indifferent. She simply stated, "Oh, thank you for reminding me. Recover Dragon, Blessed Healing!"

The guests had to shield their eyes from the blinding light. But once the light ebbed away, they saw Lucy standing there unharmed like nothing happened, catching the guests off guard.

Izuku immediately went into "knowledge mode" and began muttering and shouting out questions such as, "How Did You Do That?!" "Is That Your Quirk, No I Mean Magic!?" "Were You Born With It Or Was Your Gift Given To You?!"

Question upon questions made Lucy feel overwhelmed until a louder shout was heard. "SHUT UP DEKU! Why Do You Have To Act Like This Every Time You Quirkless Nerd!? Can't You See That You're Freaking Her Out?!"

Lucy's attention was dragged away from Izuku immediately. She looked at the boy that yelled loudly and noticed it was the boy that punched her the moment she arrived home. She walked over to him, passing Izuku as she did. Glancing at the greenette, she could tell he was terrified of the blonde boy who yelled because he shut up right away while his eyes spoke fear.

Once she was standing in front of the angry blonde, she quirked an eyebrow at him and asked, "So, why were you trying to punch him?" She pointed to Izuku and continued speaking, "The shouting could be excused. And I thank you for helping me feel not so overwhelmed. But what gives you justifiable cause to assault anyone in someone else's home, in public, or at all?"

The blonde angry boy gritted his teeth and said, "Deku was asking for it." He said at a lower decimal. But as he continued speaking, his voice grew louder. "I've known him all my life and all he does is follow me around! He's nothing special! Just a quirkless nerd that can't defend himself! He could die for all I care! That's what he gets for looking down on me-!"

He was cut off from his rant after seeing the girl in front of him glare murderously with magic pressure of many colors surrounding her. This display caught him off guard, not that he'd ever tell her or anyone for the matter that. Oddly enough, she was the 1st girl to ever scare or make him blush slightly. Not even his mom could put the fear in him as this girl is right now.

Lucy was beyond livid at this boy. She didn't even notice one of her eyes change from brown to blood red. All she knew was this boy in front of her made her truly angry. Even Natsu and the other males in her life knew not to piss her off this badly. But she forgot this boy is one of her guests and prior to today, they've never met or known of each other's existence unless her momma said something.

From across the room, Lucy caught many people's attention. Including a boy with ½ crimson ½ white hair with heterochromia eyes, blue/ turquoise eye on his left and grey irises on his right. He looked at the girl in awe. He thought, 'I never seen anyone that wasn't an adult embody so much raw power and emotion. I'm not scared in the slightest, but I am curious of her nature. If anything, I'd like to become friends with her. I want to understand her. But... If I know my father, and I do. My old man wouldn't allow friendship, claiming it's weakness. He'd rather rope her into his personal gain of arranged marriage into the family. And that idea would kill me after seeing my mom suffer. Even though she tries not to show it in front of us.'

His attention returned to the present. He noticed her mouth was open.

"I don't know who you think you are..." She whispered softly but loud enough to hear at 1st. But then, she exploded.

"Izuku Follows You Around! So What?!"

"He's Quirkless or Whatever You Call It... Why Does It Bother You So Much?!"

"You Say He's Defenseless, But How Is That Any Kind Of Reason To Wish Death Upon ANYONE!? Have You NEVER Been Told Every Life Is Precious And Everyone Has A Reason To Be Alive!?"

"And Who Said He Was Looking Down On You In The 1st Place Huh, Are You Insecure Or Something!?"

"You Might Be Able To Bully Others But If You Keep Going Down That Path, That's All You'll Ever Be Because Not Every Hero Has Powers! It Takes More Than Abilities, It's Their Will To Protect Others Even When The Odds Are Stacked Against Them!"

Lucy was huffing in anger, but she felt her brother's aura surround her like a comforting blanket. He said through her mind, 'I know you're hurt and upset. But don't let his actions affect and change you. You're better than him. Please calm yourself.'

She was shocked when she felt someone hugging her back, and after turning around to see Izuku holding her with tears leaking out of his closed eyes, she calmed herself immediately and her eye reverted back. She turned to Izuku and wiped his tears away while giving him a gentle caring smile.

The moment ended when she heard, "Wow, that was so manly." Lucy turned her head in time to hear him stating, "Not cool Bakubro."

She looked confusingly at the obsidian-haired boy with red eyes. He was blushing slightly while fanboying. While glancing at all the males she just encountered, a realization dawned in her mind, 'Why do I feel an odd connection to them? It's the same feeling like when I'm around a few of the Dragon Slayers...'

It suddenly became too quiet. And after glanced around at the room full of guests, she sweat dropped tremendously. She felt embarrassed and ashamed to make a scene in front of all the strangers in the room.

She was about to hang her head in shame and apologize to everyone. When she heard clapping come from a tall blonde hair adult male with 2 long bangs hanging on each side of his head, crystal blue eyes, and he looked very malnourished in his dress suit. He looked unoffended, instead very proud of her. Next, a beautiful lady with bright grey long wavy hair and green eyes started applauding for her. And more thundering claps from different people both young and old followed their example until almost everyone was applauding her. She stood shocked and speechless.

Before she knew what was happening, Natsu and Sting ran up and sandwiched her in a hug. Luckily, she sensed them and moved from Izuku. But this time she didn't need to double Lucy kick them. Instead, Laxus pulled her away from them as Rouge and Eric joined in lifting her into the air. They carried her as Gajeel stated, "Please Welcome The Birthday Girl And Our Nakama, Princess Lucy!"

Many people cheered while looking a little confused as Lucy blushed redder than Eric's hair. A panic attack almost went off inside the blonde female because she couldn't take all the attention and embarrassment. Wendy noticed Lucy's discomfort, so she went to them and said, "My sister doesn't like so many eyes on her while being paraded around. Can you all please stop? Look at her."

The 4 male Dragon Slayers looked stunned at 1st not expecting to hear what the youngest in the group had to say. But after noticing Lucy's reaction, they nodded and put the birthday girl down and apologized.

Though she looked a bit worse for wear, Lucy still managed a smile in thanks. She hugged Wendy before whispering, "Thank you sis. You are a life saver." And walked away.

Her eyes then connected with blue and grey eyes. Capturing each other's attention successfully. They started slowly walking towards each other like they were in a trance. Once they met in the middle, not a word was needed at that moment. They instantly felt a connection that couldn't be explained nor put into words.

The moment was shattered when a tall man with flames for hair stood behind the boy in front of her and said, "You're really strong for someone so young. I'm impressed. You'd be a perfect bride for my son Shoto here. With your magic and my son's Quirk, you will without a doubt give birth to strong children in the future. What do you say?"

"My daughter is not for sale nor here for arranged marriages. If she should marry it will be when she's old enough to choose for herself. Who are you anyways? Besides, it's her birthday for crying out loud, why is this kind of topic being discussed in any way?" Acnologia said standing bravely behind his daughter with his arms crossed looking stiffly at the man in front of him.

The flame man stared intensely at the birthday girl's dad before saying curtly, "I was merely making an offer to your daughter. She seemed old enough to make decisions for herself." A smirk began making its way to his face as he said, "Honestly, I would've preferred making Layla my wife, but she disliked my ideals stating we could only be 'friends' and instead married someone like you. I'm also the #2 Hero in my world."

Acnologia was quickly losing his temper but didn't show it. Yes, he looked mad someone was basically challenging and goading him by mentioning his wife and daughter. In their home. What Dragon wouldn't be furious? He knew all about this man whenever Layla would tell them about her day. He's not stupid, of course he knew about this man's 'statuses' amongst other things. But he didn't want things to spiral out of hand on Lucy's big day or make a scene.

So, instead he said, "Leave my wife and family out of your affairs. I never denied my children's wisdom but my daughter's only 6 years old. And you're walking on very thin ice that will most likely break from all the fire that surrounds you when making your comments. I can assume you might not be very well liked in your world if that's how you act. Regardless if you're the #2 Hero, your attitude speaks much more in volume. Please enjoy the party but don't look down upon other's worth, should you misjudge them. Good day."

He put his hands gently on his daughter's shoulders and steered her away. She followed but her eyes lingered on the boy who looked very sad and upset before she couldn't see him anymore.
