Part 5 Dreams
As Izuku takes his first step into the forest he feels a wave of power wash over him. The power felt like was going to crush Izuku. But he kept pushing on if this legend was true, and it felt like it was, then Izuku would become more powerful by leaps and bounds. A few hours into the trek Izuku was drained he was fatigued but the thought of gaining unimaginable knowledge drove he was pushing past his limits to complete his goal. Izuku was no longer able to keep track of time, he couldn't even see the sky above because of the large canopy covering him. He did know that it was the night for it was pitch black and could only see a foot in front of himself. Izuku didn't want to try and start a fire and resting just in case he didn't get back up. So he kept on walking and walking for what seemed like an eternity in the cold. "Hehehe...I didn't know g..g... gods could feel so c... c.. cold" Izuku stammered. Izuku waited for a response but from one of the crows but never got one. "H...h...HELLO...Munin...Hugin where are y..y...you!" The scared god yelled. After minutes of waiting for the birds, Izuku decided to keep walking without them. The forest seemed to grow lighter so Izuku knew that it was early morning that lifted his spirits knowing that warmth was soon to enclose on his body. Izuku was starting to grow angry at how long this journey was taking. He wished that the forest was smaller and not as rough. As Izuku walked he could feel the energy getting stronger and stronger so he knew that his goal was very close. Izuku after a day of walking finely fell with exhaustion. He lay as unconsciousness slipped over him. Izuku awoke in the forest but he didn't feel that incredible energy anymore. He stood up feeling refreshed like he didn't hike through the forest already. Izuku thought that he'll think about it later and keep on hiking to get to the old man under the tree. Izuku started for the middle of the forest again but he started to feel like was being watched. The young god decided to ignore it. A loud CAW from deeper into the forest but Izuku could tell not of what direction it came from. Before Izuku could yell out for the ravens more caws erupted from the forest louder and louder. All Izuku could hear was caws he clapped his hands over his ears and closed his eyes from the terrible pain that was shooting through his ears. Izuku was now fumbling around trying to get away from the thunderous screeching but it was like they were following Izuku. But as soon as the caws came they disappeared. Izuku slowly opened his eyes and uncovered his ears. When he was sure that the caws were gone Izuku turned around and headed off, but when stepped there was a humongous cavern below him. When Izuku fell it was pitch dark and he noticed that he wasn't falling but floating. Izuku was stunned at this realization but he finally pulled himself together and turned around to try and float his way out, but all he saw was darkness as if there was never an opening to the cavern. Izuku was taken aback by this and seemed to grow angry as he flew, where the exit should have been, thrashing around like a tantrumming toddler instead of a god. "WHERE AM I, LET ME OUT OF HERE!" Izuku screamed at the top of his lungs. As if on queue Izuku started to fall again. Izuku frantically tried to float again but failed. As Izuku fell he blacked out without warning. When Izuku awoke, for the second time, he was laying stomach down in the grass. Izuku wondered how he had gotten back on solid ground and realized that he felt mud on his fingers. Izuku looked up to see the pond its' water looked like glass as sunlight shimmered through the rustling leaves. Izuku stared even farther up and saw the tree from the legend. The tree's size was indescribable it was the biggest thing Izuku ever saw. Izuku noticed that the most distinguishable feature about the tree was that it had nine incredibly large tree branches. Izuku was starstruck looking at it but was interrupted by a voice with a Scottish accent. "Hello, there brother I knew you'd be coming soon enough."
