Izuku was as stiff as a board, he didn't even realize there was a person here with him. Izuku's mind was overloaded with what he should do, Should he talk to the stranger, should he run, should he attack him. But with one thought put his mind to ease, the voice that put terror into him was the old man from the legend. "From where I come from people say hello as a greeting or is that different here, I am slowly learning how this world works." The man said. When Izuku looked up he saw something he wasn't expecting. Izuku thought the old man would be short with a cane and frail-looking but what he saw was bewildering. The old man was thin with weird letter-like tattoos on his bald head also on his head was a pair of small goat horns. He had two yellow eyes that glow as if refracting the sun. The only clothes the man had on were a pair of old leather pants that had dirt and dust on them. The man was sitting on a rock close to the pond while gazing over at Izuku. "H...hello who are you?" Izuku asked the old man. "Me? I'm the greatest ambassador to the gods, the Giants, and all the creatures of the Nine Realms. I know every corner of these lands, every language spoken, every war waged, every deal ever struck. They call me… Mimir! -smartest man alive, and I have the answer to your every question." The man said proudly. "So you are the one from legend," Izuku stated. "Yes, that would be me the man who sips upon the magical pond water that gives infinite knowledge. But you are not here to learn about me but to drink from my pond, correct?" Mimir asked. Izuku nodded as that was all he could do as he was stunned at how Mimir was able to know his exact reason to come to the forest. "Well, brother it won't be as easy as you might have thought." Izuku was surprised but also knew that this would be inevitable. Mimir could not just let anyone take a drink of the water without something in return. But Izuku was ready to give anything, even an eye if it came down to it. "I'm going to need one of your eyes to let you have a drink." Izuku wasn't really expecting to actually haft to give an eye but without hesitation, Izuku pulled out one of his eyes. Mimir was impressed that the young lad did without confliction. "Alright, brother just toss in the pond then you may drink," Mimir said. Izuku did as he was advised and was interested in what happened next. Izukus' seemed to have started to dissolve in the water. When his eye was gone Mimir tossed Izuku a drinking horn. Izuku bent down and submerged half of the horn in the water until it was full to the brim. Izuku then lifted the rim of the horn to his lips and started to drink. Izuku did stop drinking until not a drop was left. Izuku dropped the horn to the ground and waited for the results. Soon enough Izuku was bombarded with new information. He learned math, science, history, many languages he even learned how society changed and how it worked. Izuku was exhilarated at the results of a cup of the water. "More knowledge will flow into you for a short time but will stop soon," Mimir explained. "I hope you're happy with what you've gained. But you are not finished with the development with your godhood." Mimir told. Izuku grew a serious look on his face "Alright, I understand but thank you you've helped me a lot." Izuku said gratefully. "Don't mention it brother just making sure the new Allfather is stronger than the last. But you best be headed off to trained and become more powerful," Mimir advised. Izuku nodded in response and turned around and started the long hike out.
